I took a big step and moved me and my family out of Michigan and to Ohio. I was referred to the Northen Moving Systems by my new boss who had an excellent experience with this company.
They were right on time and immediately began moving out furniture and belongings onto the truck. They listened to my instructions and did as I asked without question.
I felt better knowing that there were men I could trust to get my things across state lines and to my new home without another worry. I was quoted $4,300 and that is exactly what I paid.
If I ever have to move again, I would use Northern Moving Systems.

If you’re looking for a long-distance move than Northern Moving is your safest bet. Northern Moving is amazing. Their prices are great for the service I was looking for I moved across the country from a small town outside of Atlanta Georgia to Los Angeles California and coming from a small town to a big city you tend not to have too much money especially when it comes to moving But it was great prices for what I was looking for and the service match it as well and for me I’m a planner so knowing my next step is a big thing for me especially when it’s all of my stuff and they help Ease my mind big time I would definitely recommend trust me on this.

I recently had to relocate from Tennessee to Florida. Owning a large home full of items of exceptional value I was worried with such a big move as some of it has sentimental value and can not be replaced. I used Northern Moving Systems to move my home from Charlottesville, Virginia to Ithaca, New York and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I have wanted to move back to my hometown for quite some time now however, I have been hesitant because I am a collector of sports cards and memorabilia with a collection worth around 100k. These items are a HUGE part of my life and I wasn’t very thrilled with the idea of putting the collection in somebody else’s hands to take care of. My job transferred me from Tulsa, Ok to Chicago so I needed to relocate my family. I wasn't fond of the idea of hiring a company to move our belongings due to negative experiences with movers while I was in the Air Force but Northern Moving Systems proved to be the perfect company for the task.

My wife was elated that her prized collection of Boyd's Bears arrived unscathed. My sports memorabilia is all intact and displayed in my new man cave. None of our furniture or electronics were damaged and nothing came up "missing."

All-in-all I must admit that our move with Northern Moving Systems was the most hassle-free moving experience we've had to date.

My family and I have been looking forward to this move for some time. Having a great moving company only makes the experience that much better. Northern Moving systems arranged everything based on our requests. The moving company was professional and personable. I work in insurance and so I am very particular about the service provided and making sure items arrive without being damaged or broken. Not only did they neatly pack our items, but they neatly unloaded them as well. They even went one step further and made sure that, because I had labeled all the boxes, they were placed in the appropriate room! Talk about going above and beyond. You can tell the movers take pride in their work. All we had to do was make the drive to the new home we recently purchased, and everything was waiting for us when we arrived. The final touch was their kind words of congratulations on our move. The rates were competitive, and the service was outstanding. This is hopefully the last move my family and I ever must make so I probably wouldn’t need their services again, but they would always be the first company I’d recommend to family, friends, and strangers.

My family and I had to move from Mississippi to Illinois. There are six of us total, plus ALL of our stuff. We had no idea what we were going to do to pack and move everything and fast. We had to be moved in around a month. My husband and I started doing research on several different companies and came across Northern Moving Systems. They packed everything gently and safely. EVERYTHING! It was amazing! The service provided by this company was above and way beyond what we could have hoped for when we hired them. They accomplished the loading, moving, and unloading for us in our time frame and we were completely stress free through the whole process! Since everything was labeled they even took things to the right rooms instead of just leaving everything in the front room!! I've had back issues for years, so I needed a company that I could trust to help me move my family from Boston, MA to Freeport, FL. Fortunately, my sister highly recommended Northern Moving Systems. Especially when you are a single-mom of a teenager that can only do so much. So I did some research and reached out to Northern Moving Systems. They gave me an estimate over the phone, which was extremely helpful and this price did not fluctuate. The movers arrived on time and had such positive energy. They took their time to make sure they checked every one of my belongings thoroughly before they loaded me up and moved so structured. It truly blew my mind. They made sure everything was accounted for and even helped me put a few our personal bag in my car. Just wonderful people. We moved from Norfolk, VA to Houston, TX and Northern Moving Systems made this move so enjoyable and stress-free. They arrived at our new place on time and unloaded with ease. As someone who moves around the country on a fairly regular basis for work, Northen Moving Systems is by far the best moving service that I have ever had! When I got notice that I would be moving 2,000 miles across the country for a new job, I was extremely worried to say the least. Moving out of my hometown to a place I had never been before would have been such a hassle- that is if I had not found Northern Moving Systems. While I was agonizing over which moving company I would choose to help me make the multiple thousand mile journey, I stumbled upon Northern Moving Systems. I have to admit that at first I was a little weary about entrusting the entirety of my belongings to a company I had never heard of but I am more than glad that I ended up choosing them. I calculated the price of my move on the website and when I got the actual receipt I was shocked at how accurate the online cost estimate was. When the time of the actual move came the movers unpacked everything in a neat, orderly fashion and made sure not to damage any of my items or the walls as they moved larger furniture the tight spaces. Another plus was how polite and respectful the movers were as in the past, I have had issues with foul-mouthed laborers who were very unprofessional and this was a refreshing experience in comparison to that. I do not think I could have made the move so successfully without Northern Moving Systems and if I move anytime soon, I will be sure to contact Northern Moving Systems again.

Moving is never easy, especially when it comes unexpectedly, yet Northern Moving Systems made my most recent move nearly stress-free. I found out last month that my current employer had decided he no longer wanted to keep his business open, so he’s letting us all go. My wife had been offered a job in Tampa, FL, a while back, but at the time it didn’t make sense for us to uproot everything. Fortunately for us, they still hadn’t filled that position and she was able to get the job. That meant we were moving nearly 1,300 miles away from our home in Boston of almost 10 years which was tremendously tough. Neither of us had ever used a moving company before but we have both moved countless times in the past, so we knew we required help. We were concerned when we initially began our search because many of these moving places charge a pretty penny for such long trips. But then we stumbled across Norther Moving Systems and knew we had discovered our people. They were courteous and helpful, and when moving day finally came it went without a hitch! Hopefully, the two of us aren’t moving again any time soon, but if we are we know who to call.

After checking out several moving companies, I decided to book my move with Northern Moving Systems. They seemed to have the most reasonable rates of the companies that I was considering. I am pleased with this company's work. I can not be more direct when it comes to hiring them. They are very professional in the work they perform. The front desk made a great impression on me. The movers that helped me move were very kind and responded quickly to my request. When you hire Northern Moving Systems, they do their best to meet your needs. When I moved, I was under a lot of stress. Their workers understood this and tried their best to make moving easy. No one wants their stuff thrown around even if it is 105 degrees outside. They did their best, despite the weather and I am very pleased.

My roommate and I have opposite work schedules, which made it a lot more difficult for us to be able to move all of our belongings at once, or to even help each other for that matter. We'd lost hope all together until a friend referred us to Northern Moving Systems. My family and I recently made use of Northern Moving Systems to help us uproot our lives and start over in Boulder, Colorado. Although they were very professional and courteous, we couldn’t help but notice that one or two items of furniture ended up with scratches. Not a big deal, overall, but something that I was hoping to avoid.

It was a difficult move for us, so I appreciated their promptness both with responses and the actual moving. Although we’re glad it’s over, I can say that Northern Moving Services did a solid job, and I would look to them again (although hopefully we won’t be moving soon)!

Because of family issues I needed to move short notice from NY to PA. I had a great impression of Northern the whole way. What first convinced me to go with them was then pleasant initial phone call I had where they were willing to listen to all my concerns and answer all my questions patiently.
