Great experience

We have moved several times, and I can honestly say this was hands down the overall best move we have had yet! From the first phone to delivery, everyone was so polite and helpful. They went the extra mile to make sure we knew what to expect throughout the entire process. True professionals from the customer service team to the movers on the front line. I highly recommend this company!

Customers beware!

These people are consummate ripoff artists. Very friendly and allegedly helpful up front, but will double the cost of the job two days before the move. They will lie on the phone about a money-back cancellation guarantee, but will refuse to refund any of your deposit if you cancel. Liars and thieves. I was foolish enough to sign their contracts and give them two deposits, which I will never see again. Do not trust them.

Before addressing the additional items you included during the quality assurance review, we would like to explain our process for estimating moving costs. Our operations are consistent with those of other national moving companies. Each client in the moving industry receives two distinct estimates prior to the collection of their belongings. The first estimate is based on a specific inventory list provided by the client to facilitate cost estimation. In this instance, Ms. Renzi submitted a list of 123 items for shipment. Like other national moving companies, we reach out to our clients shortly before the scheduled pickup to verify their inventory list. It is important to note that during the initial estimation phase, customers are encouraged to confirm the accuracy of their inventory both verbally and in writing. Ms. Renzi has not presented the complete picture; she did not initially provide a comprehensive list of items intended for shipment until contacted by our quality assurance representative. Below is the list of items she added during that conversation.

A small metal table, a wicker chest, a mannequin, an antique oak table, a large sideboard, a laundry basket, a floor lamp, a hamper, a folding clothes rack, a dresser, a baby gate, an antique wardrobe, an antique square table, an 8' rod, a 40-pound box of cat litter, and a 30-pound bag of cat food were added to your already existing order. We had already dispatched a truck and a full crew nearing your location. This resulted in costs incurred for mobilizing our team to facilitate your move. You mentioned in your review that we misrepresented our cancellation policy; however, we do not have a cancellation policy that allows for refunds of deposits when customers cancel the day before pickup while our truck and crew are en route. We would like to understand how it is our responsibility that you did not provide a complete inventory list during the initial estimate. Our company is reputable and not engaged in deceptive practices. We charge based on the items you choose to ship, and since you added to your list, the overall costs increased. You decided to cancel the services due to this cost increase, which was a result of your own choices. We appreciate your feedback and wish you a pleasant day.

Polite and Professional Movers

The team from Northern Moving Systems was incredibly polite and professional. They arrived on time, handled all my furniture with care, and made sure nothing was scratched or damaged. I opted for the packed-by-owner option, and they provided high-quality packing materials, which made things easier. The free storage for 30 days was an added benefit since I had to wait before moving everything into my new place. Their customer service was also great, answering all my questions quickly. Reliable Commercial Move

Good Service, Slightly Expensive

Northern Moving Systems provided good service, though I found them slightly more expensive than some competitors. However, their quality of service justified the price. The movers were careful, friendly, and handled everything professionally. I used their full-service packing, and every item arrived intact. The climate-controlled storage was secure, which reassured me while I waited to move in. Despite the higher cost, the peace of mind and professionalism made it worth it. I would still use them again for a future move.

Friendly Team and Good Packing

The movers from Northern Moving Systems were friendly, hardworking, and very careful with my belongings. I used their fragile packing service, and they took extra care with my glassware and electronics. Everything arrived without damage. The only thing I’d mention is that the delivery was a day later than originally planned, but they kept me informed the whole time, so it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, great service, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move.

Moving across country to new jo.

Found my dream job and needed a place that could fit me in quick! I only had a couple weeks to prepare for my move from Washington to Ohio. I have a lot of heavy antiques so it was vital that the movers took extra care when preparing those items for the move. I was worried about my stuff because it was such a long haul. What if this and what if that! They were really professional and put my anxiety to rest! Everything arrived exactly as they said, nothing was broke! They move my stuff into my condo without a problem. Didn’t waste anytime getting the truck unpacked and setting stifup my beds and puttting my dressers back together.

Quick and great to work with.

I found an amazing career opportunity in Austin TX, which was hours away from my home in Columbus OH. The movers worked quickly when packing the truck and were very careful with all my more fragile items. I felt like I could truly trust them and it made it so much easier to relax knowing that my stuff was in their hands. I probably wouldn't have been able to make the move if I hadn't found them. I'm not planning on moving across the country again anytime soon, but if I was then I know exactly who I would call.

Good Service.

I can't speak highly enough of this team. Both my old and new buildings required COIs, and Northern Moving Systems handled everything promptly and seamlessly.
