This company is a scam, stay far away from it!!!

Do NOT use this company!!!

It's a nightmare to hair this company to move my stuff. Their salesman did nothing but lied so you would sign the contract with them, then the sales person (John Cambo) just disappeared, and you find no one to talk to find the actual delivery date. They lied about the price and the delivery time. The whole thing is a scam. Their custom service ladies are terrible, nothing professional, they don't know how to say hello to custom. I felt shamed to talk to them, it's totally a waste (both money and time) to deal with them.

It's thanksgiving time, and I have nothing in my apartment.

Don't believe the positive reviews, they are not real!!

A horrible experience I have ever experienced, I am still fighting to have my stuff delivered from the carrier.

This company should not exist in the moving business market. I am not sure how many more families will be cheated/mistreated by them.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!

DON'T HIRE THEM

They are contractors who take a large fee and then subcontract to 2-bit companies like Moving Forward Express. When the big lug Josh from Moving Forward arrived, he threatened me saying I had to pay more money or he would leave. It was seriously one of the worst experiences I've ever had with another person. Many of my items arrived damaged and New Leaf could have cared less. They gave me $250 and said I was luck to get that. Do yourself a favor and hire a reputable company.

Poor quality/customer service

This company is not one you should use for long distance moving. My parents used them for moving their belongings from Indianapolis to Arizona. Only to find most of the items had been damaged. When they tried reaching out to the company in regards to the situation, they stopped answering the phone. Totally unprofessional!! And definitely not a good look !! I would never recommend New Leaf moving group to anyone!! Do to poor customer service , negligence, and damaged property. Overall rating would be in the negative for me .

THEN THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $675.00 FOR 5 BOXES. THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME BACK ABOUT MY DAMAGED TV... THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY.. I PLAN ON TAKING MY COMPLAINT TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL POSSIBLE TO GET MY COMPENSATION FOR MY DAMAGED FLAT SCREEN.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...

Moving from MN to CA

FIRST, please DO NOT hire a company that uses sub-contractors! The New Leaf people were very nice but that doesn't get your things moved properly!

One subcontractor who ACTUALLY DID HIS JOB WITHOUT FAIL AND ON TIME was MANNY FROM NUKETOWN CAR TRANSPORTER (786) 382-1840. If you need your vehicle transported, this is the company to use! Plus Manny is easy to work with and I'd hire him again immediately!

Other than Manny, I was very unhappy with the move. People at New Leaf were responsive and I think did their best attempting to keep their subcontractors on schedule. HOWEVER, the actual movers (subcontractor) showed up a day late causing me LARGE financial losses and stress. Many items were either broken or damaged in some way. I was so exhausted by having to manage my own move by MANY phone calls to New Leaf, I gave up and took the loss. And, of course, there were additional charges by the last mover subcontractor because they had to walk a little farther to deliver my things. And speaking of delivery, New Leaf's delivery schedule DIFFERED BY APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS from the actual date! Hotel costs, stress, etc., just awful!

If you're moving, I suggest hiring a company that does everything themselves NO SUBCONTRACTORS! May have a higher bid up front but you may have better overall result since it would all be on them (no one else to blame if something goes wrong.

Refunds are a joke

No refunds after 72 hours!!! Promised a refundable deposit after a smooth hard sell by “Steve”. Not so much..Kristen in customer relations said I should have read the contract more carefully. Look them up on social media and here…horrible reviews!! And you can’t change your mind and get even part of your money back!! I am old enough to have known better, but moving is emotional and this company takes advantage of that.

Worst experience of my life

Horrible. They had good reviews, so I scheduled with them. The estimate was about half the cost, I had to take a loan out in order to get my delivery. It was a direct same day yet somehow I had boxes missing. The insurance is based on weight, as if that has anything to do with value. I was missing probably $600 worth of items and they wanted to give me $75. Not even worth the effort. Price was outrageous. All they did was subcontract to VANLINES USA. They are horrible too. Idiot damaged my furniture by thinking it was a good idea to stand up a reclining couch on its side instead of separating the 3 pieces and then knock it over. And of course damages not covered either. Huge waste of money overpaying for crappy service.

Bad experience

Until they get the first money from you they are attentive and flexible. Then is it goes downhill fast. Less than 48 hours notice for a Sunday delivery, which is not allowed by my building. I had to scramble to get temporary storage and will need to pay another group of movers to deliver on a weekday. This voids any insurance. Further I paid for unpacking and packing materials removal, which didn't happen. I could go on and on listing problems, but they have sucked up too much of my time and money. Don't use them.

STOP - Don’t book

While I’m at a loss for words I’m going to do my best to sway you away from booking with New Leaf. Dishonest - that’s they best way to describe how they do business. To put it most simply - the quote I got and signed off on was $4,700. I have now paid nearly $15,000. Changes were laid on me last minute so that I had no option. Please please save yourself the tears and high blood pressure I faced and book directly through a moving company who comes to your house and surveys your items.

Don't hire this company

Do not hire New Leaf Moving Group. First of all , they are brokers, and despite their assurances to the contrary they did not send a reputable mover to my home. The company they sent, Right A Way Movers has an F rating with the BBB and every single review on every single site I could find says they lie, steal and damage your belongings. I was not provided the information of who would be moving my belongings before the cancellation window and did not find out who the actual mover was until they showed up at my door ( 6 hours late). The movers tried to say I had 2400 cu ft of belongings on a truck that would only hold 1750 cu ft, and the truck was not completely full. I was also never provided an inventory of my belongings, with the driver telling me he "lost" the inventory stickers and contract. New Leaf has been unresponsive to my attempts to contact them, ignoring phone calls and emails. My things have still not been delivered, and I am quite sure they will have been rifled through and damaged when they arrive. Instead of bringing my things from Minnesota directly to Texas, they detoured to their warehouse in Georgia and have yet to provide an actual delivery date. Please, please do not take the negative reviews lightly, and realize that positive reviews are easy to buy. I have filed complaints with the BBB (which will probably not amount to much) and also with the DOT (FMCSA). If you have been scammed by a broker and/or a moving company please consider filing a complaint against them at the DOT website. It is easy to do, and perhaps if enough people file legitimate complaints they will eventually investigate and revoke their license. If you file a complaint with DOT you can name both the broker and the actual mover on your complaint. You can also file complaints with the Attorney General of the state where you live, where the move originated, and with the state of Florida where their business is based. I am imploring you to consider other options, like hiring local movers to fill a pod and having the pod shipped. Going through New Leaf Moving was the WORST mistake I have ever made and I hope that I can deter other people from making the same mistake.
