I wrote a review about This Moving company.Oh Very nice at First.Low balled.Guareenteed Everything I gave them a Exact Number of Items.Weight.And Asked for a onsite estimate to be sure.They refused.Come Moving Day.They Had rewritten My Binding estimate.First wanted over $6500 to move what they said would Be $1500 approximately.I forget since it was in June 2018.Customer service was a Joke.The workers who I spoke to suddenly did not work there anymore.a lie.I asked to speak to a supervisor.She too lied.Sent me falsified documents With My name and Realtor.I had to rent a storage unit Otherwise More Money.Claimed My things Were arriving on a 18 Wheeler truck.another lie.All my items That arrived were broken.My TVS.Furniture.Missing Very Expensive items.All my Boxes marked fragile Everything broken.I was Told I had 100% coverage called they said 6 cents a Pound!! I paid my United States Postal money order The extra 4 grand to get My Belongings.Had to call police file a Report movers took off before police came They Were shocked also.Bugs.Boxes wet with urine.Had To through out Everything not salvagable.I even called The FBI about This Company.Learned a lot if You were a victim by these people contact Them.and The Justice Dept of Ohio.

National Moving and Storage helped me and my family relocate across state lines. It was already a difficult time in our lives, but using National’s services made it bearable – it made it as easy as something this hard can be, and did it for thirteen hundred bucks. Their employees were professional and kind, and working with their management didn’t put any bad taste in my life. While I hope I never have to relocate again, if I do, I know I will reach out to National Moving first in order to ensure that my movement is as easy and hassle-free as possible. I have moved several times throughout my life and I cannot say that any of them were pleasant experiences. That was until I hired National Moving & Storage.

Every person I spoke to was extremely polite and professional and getting my moved scheduled was a breeze. The movers showed up on time and had the truck loaded quickly and efficiently! When I arrived at my new home, my stuff was ready to go and in great condition! No fragile items such as glass cups, mirrors, or furniture were damaged during the move and everything was packaged with care! They offered very great prices that couldn't be matched and I could not be more satisfied with how everything went! Everything was simple and taken care of allowing me to focus on the things I needed to take care of.

Hopefully I won't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do, I will be picking up the phone and calling National Moving & Storage right away! The great care and friendliness alone goes a long way when it comes to moving across the country! I cannot thank them enough for the great service they provided and I would recommend them to anyone!

I've never had such a good experience during a move as I have with this company. My entire branch of a 2-year-old startup was requested to move from Southern Texas to the coast of Northern California, and all of our resources and supplies needed to come with us. Surprisingly, the move was as swift as a breeze. The movers loaded and unloaded all of the supplies, both at the starting point and the final destination, and even was able to track the shipment during its on-road voyage. Thankfully, everything was transferred in a safe and timely manner. The new startup office feels as if we never left Texas, since we didn't even break a sweat during the move. The most time-consuming part of this whole process was figuring out expenses and rates, and that only took 24 hours!

Following a last minute cancellation with another moving company, I found National Moving & Storage just in the nick of time! I had quite the trek from Florida to Delaware, and I needed all of the help I could get. I used their online application for a quote, and received a follow up call within the hour. Their quote was very reasonable, especially given the last minute nature of the request. I was also very impressed with the accuracy of the quote, as it was almost perfectly on the nose! The move itself was very quick and stress-free, and even the most fragile items were in pristine condition upon arrival. I couldn’t have asked to a better experience.

Thank God I found National Moving & Storage before deciding to go with another company! I had multiple fragile items that were in perfect condition thanks to the movers of this company and I could not be any happier with how it turned out. The quote they gave me was almost dead-on price wise and everything was really smooth for how much that needed to be moved. If anybody is interested, they also have a tracking feature for trips so you can see exactly where your items are and how far they are. Overall, highly recommend!

I had a great experience with National Moving & Storage. The attention to detail the company provided was excellent. These guys packaged and handled my fragile items in bubble wrap with great care. In addition, they arrived on time, were extremely fast, and efficient. In the future, I would use this company again because they were professional and friendly. They offered me a price that I couldn't pass up. I recommended, if you are searching for a moving company, choose National Moving & Storage. My initial delivery date was 6th of August. I received an email pushing the estimated delivery date to any day between 10th to 14th August. The email says that I will receive a phone call 24h before the delivery day. I didn’t receive any call, so I decided to call the customer service by the 14th. The lady behind the phone was clueless, unprofessional and didn’t propose any explanation to this delay. She hanged up the phone on my face.This is the worst service you can get as a customer. These guys are not organized and clearly amateurs in this business. You all have to avoid them.

I received exceptional service from this moving group. The process was extremely easy from start to finish which made my experience that much easier. Moving to another state has been so stressful and guarantee that our belongings were moved and undamaged was obviously really important to us. I am happy to report that my items were not damaged at any point during the process. I was nervous about the price that they would quote us, but it was extremely reasonable! If I ever have another long-distance move, I will definitely use this company again! Moving can already be so stressful and having the wrong people helping you move just adds to that stress. I highly recommend this company for anyone who wants great service and an easy process!

I wouldn't normally go out of my way to write a review for a service (unless it was abysmal), but in this case I was so impressed with these guys and their work ethic that I just had to share some feedback. I was dreading a big move before I called them to get an estimate on a trip from Colorado to Illinois, yet was surprised not only by the relatively low cost, but the professionalism and courtesy these gentlemen exhibited throughout the whole process. Under most circumstances I'd hate the thought of moving and avoid it at all costs, but these people really eliminated the worst parts of the process. They took extra care to ensure our belongings were secure before taking off, and they were careful in handling our fragiles and furniture. My wife and I are beyond satisfied with this company through and through, and would gladly recommend their services to anyone.

Recently I had gotten a job offer in North Carolina and honestly, I had no clue of how I was going to make that move. I have very fragile furniture and grand piano that is always a pain to move. These guys are the real deal. Not only did they accommodate all my needs, they also made sure my grandfather's piano was locked down before takeoff. Usually I dread the idea of a move, but almost all of my stress was eliminated. If you are ever to make a state to state move, I highly recommend their services. The cost was low, and the care of my furniture and items really sold it for me.

Leon.salesperson low-balled the estimate: $990 as opposed to $2100. The driver who showed up yo pick up our belongings, Jason, in NJ was rude and unprofessional. Our experience went down hill from there. The dispatch folks were antagonistic and accusatory. Holding our possessions hostage till we would given them money. No guarantee about when our stuff would be delivered to Florida. Now the truck arrived tonight in Florida and the drivers claim they can’t get through the gate?!?!? This is a large condominium complex where numerous moving trucks get in and out all the time. Now we have to pay for a smaller truck. This is an extremely poor company. Do yourself a big favor and look elsewhere. They nickel and dime you without discussion. Meanwhile they have our stuff. Deplorable!

I was really pleased with this company and that is something I'm not expecting with movers. I have had such bad experiences but they really exceeded my expectations and we're very easy to work with. I enjoyed the workers and loved how punctual they were and all of them seemed very professional. With long distance moves it's hard to find a company to trust but I would definitely recommend using this service! I worry about my things being handled nicely but after meeting and seeing how the movers treated them I didn't feel worried in any way.

They quoted $1800, which is why we went with them. Once they packed everything up it ended up being $3600. They tell you wrapping is included, but they charge extra for tape. Tried to charge and extra $200 for my washer/dryer for “bulky items” even though they already had it in their inventory and didn’t include that in the quote. They tried telling me I had to pay via money order whenever they came to pick up my stuff, but the emailed paperwork says it could be paid online. Also; how are you supposed to pay with a money order if they’re going to change the price upon arrival? It took them over a week to send me the paperwork through email so I could pay them. They then sent me the wrong amount so I had to wait even longer for my items to be shipped out. ALSO, they don’t just load your stuff up on a truck and go. They take your stuff, move it somewhere else, then put it on a different truck. That’s too much moving for fragile items. Lastly, I was told my truck was delayed due to mechanical issues. My stuff was supposed to be delivered today. Guess what’s still not here? And no one is able to even tell me where it is either. Worst moving service I have ever used. Completely incompetent and unorganized. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Where do I begin - first, they quoted $1100 but ended up being twice that once they tacked on all their additional service fees. The people on the phone at dispatch are 100% incompetent and have terrible attitudes. The movers showed up 4 hours late on the day to pick up, and took 3 extra day past the maximum ten days they said it would take to deliver. To top it off, THEY LOST an entire box and gave me another person's junk instead that I now need to get rid of myself. Thanks for the garbage.

This is my first online review of any company, but I felt that I had to notify other people of this company. I greatly regret my choice in choosing this company to move my things from the Chicago suburbs to St Louis. Dealing with this company was the worst experience I have had with any company I have ever dealt with. On Wednesday, July 1st I spoke with a "relocation specialist" and spoke to her three times that day to verify my details were correct, I was wanting a dedicated truck move same day pick up and delivery on Sunday July 5th. She said that the quote was for that and wanted a deposit. After looking over other quotes, they had the best rate and the best guarantee, so I gave her the deposit. 

Come moving day, I was told that it was never communicated to the movers and that the best they could do was 2-5 day delivery. I was frustrated but I could deal with staying in a hotel a few nights. I called the next day to get an update and see what day I was getting my things. They still haven't processed the paperwork. They wouldn't ship my things until I paid 70% of the balance but I couldn't pay it until they filed the paperwork anyways. I got the notification on Tuesday mid day that the paperwork was filed, so I went to the chase and direct deposited the money 20 minutes after I got the notification. It took them a day to process the deposit (only after I called again). It was then another 6 days for them to say that they are loading my things and that would be 1-3 days until delivery. Constant calling didn't work to try to get more updates. I didn't receive my things until 7/17 which is 12 days after I was promised delivery. 

They charged 51% more than what was quoted due to the fees and random charges that they don't tell you about even when you ask the person that is quoting you. This price increase is substantial but then you also factor in hotel stays for the nights that you don't have your things and it gets ridiculous. 

I hope that no one has to go through this process again.

I got paired with National Moving and Storage when I booked a move from Florida to Missouri. I can't speak to the other reviews I've read..because from pick up to delivery, I had nothing but a positive experience with them.

The team who picked up my stuff were professional and efficient, and helped me repack some items that they advised may need a little extra care. They were very helpful and I was very pleased with their speed and efficiency.

I assumed, because I was going to be part of a larger truck and not a full load, it was going to take a long time between pick up and when the truck could get enough to head north. Three weeks to the day they picked up my stuff, a team showed up with my items and were just as quick and efficient unloading as the other team was loading.

I did lose a couple items to the forces of transit, but 1.) when you're moving most of your items 1500 miles, stuff is going to break, and 2.) I blame it more on my packing than their handling. But two small, easily replaced items are a small price to pay for the length of the move and stuff is going to break during a move more often than not, no matter who does it. Otherwise..I got everything delivered to me as expected, and three weeks was far faster than I anticipated.

However, I can't find anything at all wrong to say with the service I received from National -- they were professional, efficient, and my moving experience I will happily use to recommend them to anyone needing cross-country services. The price and value I received made me a very happy customer.

After paying double of what was estimated we are still waiting for items left behind from our move from chicago to Florida! When we call to find out when our items will be delivered we are told they don't know. I paid for all of my items to be delivered the same day and you don't know! All of the parts for our bed are not here so we are sleeping in recliners. A expensive table was broken. When calling again today day 8 to inquire the woman wouldn't even give us a chance to speak! She talks over you. I recommended your company to a friend I have since called and told her to cancel.

Movers were great but your office clients need to understand I'm the customer and you should treat me like a customer I pay your wages.

I am so glad that I decided to hire National Moving and Storage! They were very reasonably priced for my move from Georgia to Illinois, careful with my belongings, and Cynthia provided amazing customer service along the way! The moving crew arrived early, were very professional, worked very quickly, and were also very courteous towards myself and my family as well! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to move long distance!

Total cost was way under quote. I got quoted $3000 and it only cost me $2200

After reading many positive reviews, I am sure to go to National Moving & Storage whenever I need to relocate to a different state, or across the country. As well as very friendly and on time, the quotes are incredibly low, and the final prices are usually even cheaper! Workers are very professional and hardworking, and many have stated they had an enjoyable experience dealing with the movers and that all their belongings were in tip-top shape upon arrival. If you or your families are in the market for a long-distance move, I would strongly suggest National Moving & Storage!
