Great work

It’s not an easy process to select a long-distance moving company. We went online to find out a few tips on where to start. This is an incredibly busy time of year and we wanted to make sure we would get our furniture fast and in the same condition, it left in. They are the company to keep. Happy we worked with them and even happier to pass the name along.

Unprofessional and Horrible experience

They never show up. My moving was scheduled on 19th June. They never showed up. Upon constant emailing one company showed up (you can not find the company online). They said the charge will go up atleast 700-1000$ based on how much space it takes on the truck. I did not use their service as I could not rely on them. They might increase the price even more after taking your stuff in the truck. I made a complete inventory list with their manager 2 days before moving. They increased the price even that time and I was fine with it. Next day when I asked for my deposit back

A Stressful Process Made Worse

National Express Moving ("NEM") made the process of moving far more stressful than it needed to be. They missed their 2-day pickup window and never called to update or reschedule. After calling repeatedly over a 5 day period to get information on my move and failing to hear back, I lost trust in their ability to perform and was forced to hire an alternative provider (who agreed to perform the same move at 20% less than their net price offering). Upon cancellation of my move because of their failure to perform, I was refused my deposit back. Buyer beware.

Never showed up

Do not use this company! They were supposed to move us on either June 13 or 14 because we had to be out of our house on the 15th. They were supposed to call the day before to let us know what time they would come to move our things and transport our car. They never called. My husband called them and was told the truck broke down and they were looking for another. Never called us though we called them several times being told they are still looking. Found out they are a broker and could not find anyone to take our move or our car. We had to line up a moving truck and people to help load us and someone to transport our car at the last minute. They only want to refund us half of our deposits because "they put in work". Businesses get paid for providing a service, not a quote! Do not use this company!!! We were scammed!

Warning Terrible, unprofessional, lying company.

We’re from Ohio and moved across country to Florida. Originally we were told they’d be at our house June 27th and they’ve lied to us all week. We moved down expecting our stuff to be here on the 29th. We’re in limbo because none of our stuff is here and we just assumed they were trustworthy but they’re not. Multiple times they told us they’d be at the house. Customer service is awful, they’ll lie to you just like their salesmen. At least be honest right? We thought. Terrible company I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. I’ll leave another review once we get our stuff (if we do). Please save your time and hire more expensive movers so you don’t have to deal with this.

Good Job!

The first thing that caught my attention was the customer service which was friendly and direct. The movers for both the loading and unloading crew were on time and professional. They also kept a checklist for everything so that you know you aren't missing anything. I've had four moves in two years and that was a first great idea that other companies should adopt.

DO NOT USE. STUFF WILL BE STOLEN/DESTROYED

SCAM MOVERS. DO NOT USE. These people are brokers that sell your job to the cheapest and dirtiest movers they can find. Your stuff will get lost or destroyed like mine did. They con you into believing the move will be cheap, then the day before the move they will play with the numbers however they can to make the price nearly double. At that point your deposit will be forfeited if you don’t agree and it’s just before your time to move so you’re stuck.

Haven't delivered my items and have no eta as to when they will

For those that know me know that I do not post on fb often but today I have an excellent reason to. For those ever looking to move long distance do not use national express or any of the companies associated with them. At this point they have had my furniture for 4 business days and have told me there still is no eta as to when it will be delivered as they have to move it from the truck they loaded it to to a different truck which has yet to be done. At no point was any of this mentioned to me. So because abuse of there incompetence I have a choice get a hotel each night or sleep on my floor. They are causing unnecessary mental anguish which you have enough moving across the country.. Not only did they do that they found ways to charge extra on top of extra on top of extra money. They are con artist at best and need to be avoided at all cost. IF ANYONE KNOWS A GOOD LAWYER THAT SPECIALIZES IN THIS STUFF PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME.

Out of state move

Wow, what a terrible company. Took my money as a way of locking in the quote ( $1300) and then another $1300 as an initial deposit. They required another $300 to refine the quote and bring it up to date.

Now I was instructed to wait until I had a call from the movers for a pickup date. This just didn't happen. I had several emails stating there were 'delays' due to their inability to provide a removals company to execute the contract. I waited for FIVE days for national Express Moving to get their act together and then I had to move MYSELF 1000 miles. Never had an explanation or apology from the company. When I tried to get my money back I was told that they would only refund half of what I paid for the second part of my quote. I paid a total of $1600 and received about $650 as a refund.

All this for NO service apart from a quote. Very poor practice and extremely bad customer care. Will never recommend and still looking to YELP them , hopefully right out of business.

This company is simply awesome

Everyone was professional, friendly, and the pricing was clear from the beginning they were no surprises. Honestly, they made the move hassle free. We were moving a 2 bedroom apartment on the third floor to a new house. The guys had no complaints and we're upbeat throughout the process. They were also careful and conscious about where they were placing items at the new house. My wife and I were happy about their service and we highly recommend them!

Excellent Work

I initially spoke to Thomas to get my move orchestrated and it was amazing. Melvin and Ryan came the next day to move me. They were super professional and nice. Those guys were fast with moving and everything was safe and sound. I would to definitely use there services again in the future. I really appreciated that nothing was broken during the move. Best movers!

I hired this company to move 2 room apartment. They reached on time and started packing without nay drama. It took around 55 minutes to pack all the boxes and 20 minutes to load truck. Moved to new place in 30 minutes. The whole moving process took places around 4 hours and everything was smooth. I would recommend these guys to everyone looking for movers.

Long-distance move from Virginia Beach, VA to Waco, TX

Buyer BEWARE

Company under-estimated my items by over 500 cubic feet (even though I was told MULTIPLE times that they have a very thorough process and that they are always overestimating). I had to pay an additional $3,000 for the added cubic feet. Additionally, I was "sold" on the fact that this was a hub to hub move for the company and it was written in my binding estimate that my items would be delivered in 14 business days or they would start reimbursing me per day it was late. My items took 23 business days to arrive and I can't get ANYONE at National Express to take responsibility and actually get reimbursement from them as promised. The only positive part of this experience was with Susan in the customer service department who was the only person who actually told the truth about anything and worked tirelessly to get me answers as to where my items were (the carrier was silent for 4 weeks). Additionally, the carrier they hired lost items of mine but due to the "fine print" in the contract I don't have recourse for claiming the items lost as I can't say exactly what was in the box and how much the items were worth and weighed. This was shady all around. I will never use or recommend National Express.

I've moved quite a lot so I have a lot to compare them with and they were some of the best movers I've ever used. I had them do some of my packing and move a couple things to a storage unit. The guys were all friendly, careful and considerate with my belongings. All of the charges were explained to me and the price was fair. I appreciated the fact that they followed up after the move to make sure everything went well.

They changed their name . They are scammers , please believe me and move on to another company ! They hire subcontractors which you will solely be responsible for if they mess up. They go against what’s written on the contract and will not care! They will charge you extra to up around 1600! Our stuff was delayed 3 weeks and they provided no compensation for that either. Trust me they’re a scamming company . These reviews are FAKE !

Here is my story:

We hired them to transfer our stuff from new York to Texas. When the movers arrived ( which national subcontracts) they said we have to pay more due to extra storage. We willingly paid and then agreed on written paper that the balance owing was 561 at the time of drop off . When the truck arrived 3 weeks later. They asked us for 920 dollars more. We disagreed to pay and contacted national . They said the math that the mover did was garbage and that we need to pay 920 , they threatened us and said if we don’t pay they will put our stuff in storage. We finally agreed to pay. Then an hour later they said we need to pay an extra 600 because of some other hidden cost. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM . Check Yelp that’s their real name before they changed it because of the bad reviews. These reviews are mostly fake!!! They are extremely rude people !!!

I would highly recommend this company and his crew!

The movers of this company were awesome! This was our second time using them and they did not disappoint. We were purchasing a new home so the timing of the actual moved a couple of times and they were great with accommodating the dates changes as long as you gave them reasonable notice. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and went above and beyond. They were very careful with our belongings and worked quickly and efficiently.

National Express Moving and the team made it possible to get the items delivered to my aunt's place. She purchased one big dog house which was unbelievably big that i can't fit it in my car, so i called these people to arrange a van for my work. They did so and wow my aunt is so happy with their amazing help. She loves her dog a lot and having his kennel at home made her happier. Thank you National Express Moving and the team for making it possible.

Chris was the lead and Lewis was his partner. They were very careful, helpful and were able to get my home moved smoothly without a hitch. Reasonable price and great service!

We had got a number of quotes from others, they seemed high. So we called National Express Moving, best thing we did. From the first phone to the day they unloaded our furniture, it was great. Please call them before you decide on a mover. They wrapped and treated all our items like it was their own. PS, make sure to pack before they get there and the move will be super quick.

They did a great job moving two apartments into a single house

I've had 3 great experiences with the guys from National Express Moving. I was told from the beginning about the travel costs to and from their offices, so this wasn't a problem for me. I went with the three man crew. The crew was punctual and friendly. They finished an hour and a half under the original estimate which saved me some money. I'd certainly call on them again.
