My Best Mover (My Best Mover LLC 351 S Cypress Rd. Pompano Beach FL. US DOT: 3614338 MC: 1232207) did not successfully book a move carrier for my move from Ohio to Minnesota. They failed to book the carrier/trucking company for the first and second dates I requested which were February 8 and 9, 2022. After numerous calls to customer service on both of the initial dates to find out who my carrier/trucking company would be (so I could arrange payment by cashier's check), I was given an excuse that the original carrier was in an accident but not until I kept calling them for an update. They subsequently begged to move the pick-up date to February 11 and 12. Those dates also came and went without so much as a courtesy call to keep me apprised of the situation and delays. Upon calling them on the evening of February 11th, I was told that my pickup window would be 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on February 12th, but again was not provided the name of the carrier despite asking. I also inquired if they would be calling before arrival to let me know to whom the payment cashier's check should be addressed and was told yes. That call never came, and as of the time of this writing, customer service still has not provided me with any concrete information about the carrier but continues to say, the driver will call when he is close because he was delayed. I asked for the driver's number so I could reach out to him and have a direct conversation with him about his ETA, but they declined to give me his number. This entire process has been nothing short of a frustrating mess and repeated lies about their ability to provide the services to which they agreed. I am filing a formal complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration about their practices and my experience.

Expected delivery date January 11th.2022 , our first payment was $1012.00 , our second payment was $$956.00 , and our third payment was supposed to be another $956.00 once they delivered . Today is March 12, 2022 and we still don’t have our items. We have two children moved to a new state to get a new start from Portland Oregon. I Have called this company several times and all they do is give me the run around and say I’m going to get my items soon. Everything we owned was in that truck. We don’t have money to buy everything again and this company don’t even care. Stay far away from them.

We purchased a home in Georgia moving from California. We put down $700 & on pick up we were to give $950 and $950 upon delivery. The communication stopped & the lies began. They lie about the manager it’s always the same person & they are to busy to get on the phone. They gave us a date for pickup and they never came or called. The first lie the truck need maintenance, second lie they waiting on a truck to my area.Then they claim the driver called & we didn’t answer. Call after call getting the run around they place you on hold and lie & say they going to have dispatch call u and they never do. They upped the price another $1000 saying that’s what the original price was, once I quoted all the figures I had written down they got mad and said they would honor the price. The truck never came, no phone calls. Justin and Sharon were big liars. After two months of lies I told them to refund my money. They told us we signed a contract & would not get it back. We Got our refund from my bank and I went to pack rats. Stay clear from this broker. They are big scammers . They wanted to send a truck I told them NO I don’t trust them. They lied about the footage and told us if you go over the footage your price will double. Please stay away. Our home closed in September of 2021 and we didn’t moved until December from all there lies. Please stay away from this company a big scam!!!!!!! Do your investigation. They cost me more money and more aggravation and precious time. Almost turned our move into a nightmare. I wish I had posted earlier to save some of the other customers . Don’t let them keep your deposit that’s there scam. If they don’t do the job they have already broken the Contract remember that. They hope you go away please don’t sign, don’t book them and spread the word. SCAMMERS. They are very rude and will hang up on you and place you on long holds. Stay clear

Horrible company and horrible service!! I shouldn't even have to give a star because it is just not worth it. The customer service was ok. The driver was horrible, unprofessional. He first arrived a few days late because he told me he needed sleep. When he got to my storage unit, the truck he was driving was full, very unorganized, and so he called someone else to help him. They tried charging me more because they thought my storage unit was bigger than I said. They told me it would arrive at my new place within a week. A week later, he was not responding to my messages and the company could not help. After 10 days he finally responded to my message upset with me. He sent me pictures showing me that my storage unit was bigger than I said. Because of that, he wouldn't bring it to me until I paid more (basically holding it at ransom). After realizing that my storage unit was bigger, I apologized him and asked him how much it would be. He charged me double and told me to pay him and not go through the company because it would be cheaper. I didn't know what else to do so I paid him. Another ten days later he finally arrives. When he does he was kind and good but the other guy with him was just throwing my stuff into my house, broke a couple of things and was very careless. I realized that I didn't have everything in my storage unit and he had brought stuff from other people's shipments. He told me he would look more and get back to me but said, "Well, if you don't mind having some of your stuff lost, it's not a big deal." It wasn't only that some of my items were missing, some were irreplaceable, things that I made and memorable for me. He then told me he wasn't employed by the company so couldn't do anything. I submitted a claim and am still waiting to hear back. Again, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!

My Best Movers is dishonest. First, this company is a broker, not a moving company. Meaning they connect people with actual moving companies. They act as a middle man. When I first spoke to them, the customer service representative told me he was a driver for the company. Lie number one. Broker companies do not have drivers. This company gave me a good deal at the beginning and then it ended up costing more. When I had my quality assurance call with the customer service representative, he told me there was potential for my final cost to go down if I had less stuff than what was on my inventory. Lie number two. This was not the case. The company gaslit me and also demanded that I make the choice to hire them and told me the quote was live and was subject to change if I did not make the deposit immediately. That should have been the first red flag. When I was on the phone with customer service I heard in the background the same employee who lied to me getting a complaint from a different client. Save yourself the headache and go with an actual moving company.

I got a called from what seemed to be a respectful & honest customer care worker. Once we went over the details of the move, a manager started talking and instantly started to act unprofessional. I told him my limit and said that I would talk it over with my spouse. Then he went on to say “I thought you were the man of the household”. Then he repeatedly cut me off saying that “it would be fucking stupid to wait and by time you make up your mind it will cost $6,000. At that point you might as well leave you shit”. For a company that brags about having a 5 star rating. The customer care team is ABSOLUTELY garbage. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF CRAP COMPANY!!

I originally requested a quote for my move from My Best Mover sometime last week, as I was checking out numerous other companies so that I can find the best company to suit my needs. Today (5/5/22), I received a call from a man by the name of John, at which time I told John that I would no longer be needing their services. John was very belligerent and rude towards me and basically cursed me out, saying that "I was full of ****" when he kept pressing me about which company I went with for my move. Following this phone call, I received numerous phone calls within the span of a few hours (one caller even stated that there was no John working there, which I don't believe).

This company does not seem like a very ethical nor does it seem that they respect their consumers. They ought to be ashamed of themselves and should not be involved in the moving business EVER!!!!! PLEASE steer clear of this company at all cost. I sincerely hope that they get no business whatsoever and go under.

I had Hired “mymoversllc” in good hopes. The first red flag was that my quality assurance apt was set for 9:00am and I didn’t get a call until after 12:30pm. I decided to do a little more research and looked through reviews on several separate websites and was horrified with what I saw. I decided it was best for me to lose out of my deposit than possibly have my belongs misplaced, my moving dates scattered, or be upcharged x2 like I had seen on 80% of the reviews. When I called to cancel my move the people on the phone were incredibly disrespectful and out of line. They said that “Disneyland also gets bad reviews but that doesn’t mean people stop going there.” I was appalled. They continued to say that I wouldn’t get my deposit back(which I was aware of) and then said “it must be nice to have that kind of money to throw around or give away.” My move with them is now canceled thank goodness. Do not use this company.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. After receiving my deposit, they set up a quality assurance phone call to make sure I was properly quoted for everything that was going to be moved. On day-of, rather than moving my items as agreed, they had hired another company to do so and I was then charged over twice what was quoted, which I did not have. I was forced to send the truck away and am now refused a refund on my deposit despite no service being performed and despite attempted extortion. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

When my husband first spoke with the Company they were very nice, and we received a reasonable estimate. At the QA call we had added a couch to the square footage so we knew there would be an increase. When the movers arrived one was wearing flip flops! They proceeded to tell us they wouldn't take the standard platform bed apart (it was the paperwork as a platform bed). They finally agreed and said they wouldn't charge us for it, and they won't put it back together. We actually ended having them take less stuff BUT we somehow took an additional 150 square feet so we needed to pay them an additional $400 dollars this was on top of what we already paid them!! I also had to go around and clean up after the movers left rolls of used tape, wrapping stuff, etc. We never got an itemized list from the movers, and my Husband contacted this Company on 3 different occasions to find out why we were charged more, where is furniture? We moved less than 500 miles and were told it would be 1-7 business days it's now been 14 days...Every time he called he had to tell the CS Agent what was going on because I guess they don't take notes and put it in the Customer Files. He was told they have thousands of customers so basically we weren't that important. We finally were told today that our furniture was on the way, but the text from the Moving Company sounds like a 10 year old wrote so again not professional at all which is what we were told they hired for us. Hopefully our furniture will actually arrive tomorrow!!

This company just tries to take your money right after you receive the call by asking your bank information without giving you an enough time to read the terms and condition. When I tried to cancel the moving and get my deposit back, they just said that it was my fault as I didn't read the terms and condition saying too late to get my money back. The old lady on the phone was also very rude.

You have to check other reviews below and stay away from this company. The first guy from the company sounded very nice but he was the guy who kept asking my bank information.

I scheduled a month in advance. They said they would call the day before to schedule the pick up time but didn't so I called them. They said the truck broke down and rescheduled for 4 days later. I missed the call the night before and called on pickup day, they said the truck broke down and wanted to schedule 4 days out (July 4th) but could not guarantee that they would show up. I ended up loosing my $1400 deposit, rented a Uhaul and hired loaders and unloaders and moved myself. The worst part is the person on the phone repeatedly said "I know moving can be stressful" yeah, especially if the moving company you hired doesn't show up. The stress was from My Best Mover not honoring their commitments. I honestly could not believe it, then checked BBB reviews and found many others with the same experience. this system will not allow me to give them 0 stars but would if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The guy below who suggested burning your stuff was right on the money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My home goods were picked up the first week of June for a move from Florida to Calif. The crew that showed were very shady and we had to watch them closely. They DID NT provide us with an itemized list like they were supposed to, for starters. Here it is 7 weeks later and we still don’t have our goods. I have called weekly since, and although their customer service folks are pleasant for 5he most part, the answer is always the same, “I don’t know, let me call our dispatch manager and I’ll call you back”. No calls back. Occasionally they’ll” mix it up with they’ll” be their Saturday or Sunday”. Of course, they don’t show up. What’s worse, I called the numbers on the Bill of Lading for the company based in California, and both numbers are disconnected. I just called the Pompano numbers and was told that the company had just called them and would deliver to me on Saturday of this week. What an amazing coincidence, right? These people are trafficking stolen goods, across multiple state lines! If you don’t want to ever see your stuff again, use them. I will be filing police reports on both companies.

The most disingenuous company!!! Do net ever use this company! I've never been treated so horribly and unethically. The first lie they told me was through a women named Candice that I could pay with a credit card to the movers, but the movers said no....only Venmo etc....They will lie to you just to get your deposit. This company told me the truck would arrive in a 2 day window. The truck never did, I had to cancel them and rent a Uhaul to get the job done myself. The truck never even drove a single mile in my direction to pick up. The driver told me he was empty in Portland that night and he was on his way to pick me up. Well that night rolled around, and he was a no show. I called MBM and he drove in the opposite direction to Seattle because he had a breakdown. This company didn't even have the common courtesy to let me know he wasn't going to be there. They are refusing to give me my $2800 back. The truck never even drove a single mile in my direction to pick me up!!! Wy can't you give me my money back!!!?????

We hired My Best Movers for our move from Oregon to Tennessee! And 7 months later….. our household items have not been delivered!

Long, devastating, sad story short: My Best Movers hired a fraudulent transport company and never delivered our household items! We had to buy our household items back from a storage unit auction! We our out thousands of dollars. We have spoke to My Best Movers several times, and it’s lie after lies. We’ve be laughed at and hung up on. They take no ownership of their wrong doing. They do not have insurance, so you cannot even file a claim! Please reconsider higher this company!

These people are not movers, they are brokers - they quote you a price that they don't actually set, and then book a company that then charges you a different price (mine was over 50% more, which I found out on my move out day). Their communication efforts are very weak (emailing them does nothing, have to call to get any response) and they have no power in the process as far as delivery time, pricing, additional fees, etc. They are phonies and I suggest booking directly with a moving company rather than using these guys.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE CONTRACT MOVERS SUCH AS “MY BEST MOVERS”! The movers, Najar Brothers, picked up our belongings on July 24 and assured us, multiple times, that they would be in Ames, Iowa, on August 1, without fail! They did not show up. We tried to call and text them and they did not respond. This went on all day. No response from the movers or the brokerage people. We did finally contact the movers. When they answered, were extremely difficult to understand. We managed to find out where they were located. The movers, with our property, were in Karen, TX! That is 12 hours and a thousand miles from where they were supposed to be on August 1.

August 2, we still have not found our truck full of belongings. They are not answering phone calls or text messages from us or the brokers.

All of the reviews are accurate! Do not fall into the trap of believing these people. They are no good.

Do not believe this company. They will give you a low price and ask for a deposit to lock in the price. You have like (4) days to cancel. However, typically actual move date is at least a month out. A few day before your move date they will call to go over inventory. At this stage is where they will double the price of the initial quote that you have locked in. Even though its the same list. They will say oh because the initial quote was entered incorrectly like the box size. Then on moving date the mover will tell you more charges such as "heavy item", "shuttling charge". These charges will be another $1k. These additional charges were never brought up during initial quote. FYI My Best Mover do not do the moving, they hire someone else to do the moving, so the actual moving company will have their own charges. I just cut my lost on the deposit and decided to donate all my belongings. STAY AWAY!

I found these guys online and I specifically asked if they were a broker and Cory told me they weren't - all moves were done by their own people. That was lie number one that we didn't find out til the items were picked up.I was

told by Jordan that if we used less space we would owe less at delivery. Then found out from someone else there that I was misinformed and they didn't know why I was told that. I also told them about our large bulky furniture and they didn't mark that down correctly so the price went up when the items were picked up. I was lied to from the start. The lies kept happening and the price kept increasing. The actual mover they used delivered late and they wouldn't help with that. Their contract and the actual movers contract contradict each other so you have no idea was it real. This was the most horrible experience.
