Moving Forward Relocation

Avoid this company at all costs. There were so many issues during this whole scheduling process. When I Initially booked the moving service over the phone, the man confirmed that only my things will be on the truck and there's no other pickups. Then a week before my scheduled pick up day I called and they still didn't have the information of the driver picking me up. They also said it takes an estimated 7-10 days for delivery because of other pickups along the way. They couldn't tell me yet if any other deliveries were scheduled. Nowhere on the agreement, emails, or website does it state that. At that point, I'm frustrated but wait until I get a call from the driver. I realize that Moving Forward is a moving broker. A driver not employed by Moving Forward calls me Sunday evening saying he's picking me up tomorrow morning, but I wasn't even scheduled until that Wednesday. He assured me that it was fine and he'll call me on Tuesday. I didn't hear from him or from anyone. I call and find out the driver was sent on another assignment because I wasn't "ready" for him before. Manager of the other company says he might be able to get another driver for the following day or later. He would not give me any straight answers. I kept asking when will I know because my scheduled pickup was supposed to be the next morning. He said he would call me back to let me know what he can do. I called him back multiple times and he refused to call this other driver. I got nervous that he was never going to call me back. The evening before my pickup I had to call another company and luckily they were available and luckily the moving day went smoothly. It's been 3 days since my scheduled pickup and no one from Moving Forward or the out sourced company has contacted me. Moving Forward overestimates the inventory to make the total amount high enough so the non-refundable deposit goes to them and they don't care what happens to you after that because they already took your money. Stay far far far away from Moving Forward.

If I could give them no stars I could. They are not a moving company, they are a broker. We gave them the initial deposit of $1400, they then requested another $1000, which we gave them. But the day before the move (we were moving from CA to VT) they called us and told us that the contractor could not arrive until a week after the scheduled date. The caused total havoc with our moving plans. We hired another mover, but we are out $2400. It was their fault and the contractor's fault - not my problem. They need to refund our money, which they will not. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CROOKS OF THE WORSE KIND. We will be reporting them to the DOT and Florida Department of Consumers affairs. They need to be closed down. Period. Our attorney in VT will be pursuing legal action. We have nothing to lose. They have our money and we want it back. They were the reason we cancelled. We did not cancel because we changed our mind, we cancelled because THEIR CONTRACTOR moved the moving date by an entire week. Be warned - their crooks of the worse kind.

It's 7:30 PM on the day we were supposed to move. The movers are not here, and Moving Forward Relocation has stopped answering their phone. They answered the phone until they realized it was us calling, and now they're not answering anymore, or they'll answer but not say anything until we hang up and then it rings through to a voicemail box that is full with no way to leave a message.

Working with this company has been a horrible experience from the start. We should have read all of the one star reviews before signing a contract with them. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the movers didn't show up for our move at all. Now we are in the worst possible situation. The new owner takes possession of our house tomorrow and we are stuck here with all of our possessions boxes and no other option.

I don't know what to do. This is a nightmare.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They gave us an estimate to move our stuff at $2,495.11. They then hired a less than reputable trucking company to haul it. After everything was loaded the price went up to $7760. They claim we had more than we estimated. The loading list has double listed at least five items. The double charged for the bulky items. We contacted Moving Forward and they said they would look everything over. They claimed they did and that they couldn't find any fault with the mover's estimate. Courtney and Chad claim they work for you not the trucking company. This could not be further from the truth. It's been 21 days and I still don't have my goods. I'm questioning whether I'll ever see goods again. They're all real courteous and polite, but make no mistake that everyone at Moving Forward is a professional con artist. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do business with Moving Forward out Daytona Beach. Be sure to check the reviews under their former name: Liberty Bell Moving Group. You'll see much of the same as you see here. I'm sure this company will named something else by the end of the year.

This has been the worst experience of my life! Do not use this BROKER as they call themselves. They contracted our move out to another horrible company, these people were rude and yelled and screamed a lot!! Moving forward said they had our back! Yeah right!! First they tripled the original quote then they added more things than what we actually had. They also charged for things that were not used. My mother in law bought mattress covers for us and they charged us thirty dollars for them and also charged me for nine rolls of packing tape and I had everything packed and sealed .Also they had my wishing well on the packing list as being loaded on the truck and it was left in the driveway!! When we called moving forward they told us that the packing list from the rude guys was prestine !! Really!! They also told my father Inlaw for us not to call them anymore because my husband was using fowl language!! Well who wouldn’t be at this point it’s been 17 days and we still do not have our things.

Worst company I have ever dealt with stay away from this one they quote you one thing and double the charge when they're there to move you. Then they refuse to have any customer service to talk to you to resolve any problems stay away from this place. They just dump your stuff don't put anything back together promise you they will and then you're just stuck. You call to complain they don't take your calls and they don't answer anyting. Worst company ever.. Nothing but lies to you to get your business.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with or received service from. This is the first time I've ever left a review for a company and will most likely be my last. I'm very easy to please, so the fact that I am going out of my to review the terrible service I received means something. I will leave my complaint as a direction towards the lies and falsehood that was displayed to me from their service reps. I was forced to live out of a hotel for a week due to their service reps lying about when my furniture would be delivered. You would think a company that prides itself on helping people relocate for a new job would provide the kind of communication necessary to ensure their customers know when they will receive their deliveries. I would hope at least they would not blatantly lie about it on several occasions. I'll stop rambling - In summary, Moving Forward Relocation tells you they will deliver on a specific span of days and then ignores your calls when they do not deliver on said span of days. It's unprofessional and it cost me several thousand dollars. Please do not use this company. It is embarrassing that I have to write this yelp review, but hopefully it will defer the next person from making the same mistake.
