Moving APT

These guys are absolutely fantastic. I have never had a move go so smoothly. My movers were by far the MOST professional movers I have ever worked with. They used shrink wrap, furniture pads, special boxes, furniture-safe tape, and the works to get our move done fast and efficiently. They were extremely hard working, and incredibly skilled in making sure the furniture was well taken care of and safely transferred. These guys were also just extremely friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I cannot describe how happy I am with the move, and will definitely be using them in the future! THANK YOU!!!!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2100

We moved from two apartments into our new home and were very pleased with how smooth and quickly everything went. Moving APT had me moved out of my apartment within an hour and then had my boyfriend moved out of his place in about two hours! They worked very efficiently while still being careful with all of our furniture. They helped dissemble and reassemble all of our bedroom furniture so that we were as settled as could be for the first night in our new place. I would highly recommend Moving APT to any of my friends and would hire them again for future moves!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3600

Moving APT are the real deal! I recently moved from a three bedroom apartment into a house of the same number of bedrooms and the service provided to me by Moving APT was top notch. They were extremely courteous and organized, and every detail was handled with tremendous professionalism. I have a large collection of vintage music memorabilia and everything was treated with the proper care. Nothing seemed to slow them down and they quickly packed everything up and promptly unloaded it at the new destination. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that with a good moving company you don't have to fret about a big move because everything is taken care of. Moving APT went above and beyond to exceed all expectations; would definitely use them again and recommend their services to anyone looking to make a move.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3900

Recently moved from Pagosa Springs Co, to Tyrone Georgia. Original estimate was approximately $12K or a 4 Bedroom Home, escalated to over $17K at move completion.

Carrier arrived late for pickup, no furniture was wrapped with any protection and very little care given to belongings.

APT never followed up on the move experience, had to constantly hunt them down on the phone. No inventory was taken of the load at the time of pickup.

Had to argue the financial component of the move with both APT and the carrier.

On delivery found damaged table, end tables scratched, and boxes not moved to the designated areas. Had to personally assemble all disassembled beds and furniture.

Upon completion, signed a delivery receipt noting the damage. To date have never received a copy of the receipt. This after repeated calls and emails to both APT and the carrier.

I will never use this company again and will warn anyone who would listen to find another service provider.

The worst moving service one can imagine!

Constantly delaying, not even know even the movers are coming to pick up your furniture, even after signing contract either not mentioning the check you paid the movers, and after a few times correcting them, they suddenly change the total price, asking you to pay more; and worse than that, they never respond your email, call, message about the time to expect delivery, even after the timeline they specified; so basically you never know if you would ever get your furniture or not. It seems they never care about their customers to bother themselves and answer your enquiry about the time you expect delivery, but when it's about charging you more, even after you have signed the contract and the movers picked up your furniture they constantly sending you the new contract! yes you read it correctly, they make you sign a new contract after the movers picked up the furniture, when you can do nothing anymore. After that, no one would answer your messages, even after the deadline they specified for delivery of furniture!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2000

I booked and confirmed my moving date 6 months prior and a week before the move they could not find a carrier. They suggested I extend the date but I had a flight and made all other arrangements and that was not a possibility. I was forced to sell all my furniture in 48 hours. I would never again book Moving APT and after carefully reading other reviews I see I was not the only one this has happened to. The worst kind of experience to have when moving! I do not recommend doing business with them!!!!!!!

If this company isn't a complete scam, it sure feels that way, and they haven't exactly done anything to fix it. I kept getting told I would "only be charged for what gets moved."

They moved roughly half the estimated weight. and I got charged MORE than the estimate. We moved a fraction of the items, and sold some of the larger items (like the kayaks/bicycles) we were told would be more expensive. Several pieces of furniture were damaged, a hole was put in my wall, and we watched the movers topple 2 stacks of boxes down the stairs. 1 of those had all of our plates. When asked to pay the final amount at delivery, and it being $1500 more than expected, we spent over 3 hours trying to get ahold of anyone from Moving APT or the contracted moving company. It was a Sunday. We figured it was all a misunderstanding. Surely this would get cleared up on Monday and we would get a refund, right?

Nope! Got sent to a claims office. I've asked several times for an updated quote based on the bill of lading and still haven't gotten it. We were asked to send all of our documentation and pictures in a single unzipped file

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7100

They lie (in that they deliberately withhold relevant information), and manipulate. They have this game they play where no person you can talk to can ever answer the question, but they will leave a message for the person who can answer it to call you back. They never call you back. My belongings were taken 5 weeks ago, still no word on when it will be delivered, and they don't care. They literally say that they aren't the moving company, they just represent you to the moving company. But they don't represent you! They take a fee from you, and DO NOTHING.

Last I heard from them they said that the moving company said my stuff is on a truck and headed my way. Days later I hear from the actual moving company that it is sitting in the same warehouse it has been in for a month. They just lie to you, and say whatever they need to say to get you to go away.

DO. NOT. USE. It is literally pointless. Just find your own moving company. This place is a joke.

This has been one of the worst mistakes I and my family have ever made. The night of pick up, one guy showed up by himself to do the job, and my instinct told me that something wasn't right. We were told that from TX to WA it would have taken them 9 days... this is +3 weeks in and we are still waiting for our belongings. I was told that my belongings would be delivered between 4/9/2022 and 4/10/2022 and yet, NOTHING. I am ready to sue this company for everything they are doing to paying customers! I have been calling every day trying to understand where our stuff is but so far we have been given the runaround. I am exhausted but HEADY! I am a lawyer and I and my little lawyer friends are going to bring it, even if this is the last thing I do!

When my parents needed to move, Moving APT was one of the options I found. Alexander quickly responded and worked with me to get me a quote. He visited their home and gave them a quote. They appreciated how much he knew and seemed to care about their things. They arrived early in the morning on the move-out day and worked hard until late in the evening, packing all their things carefully in boxes and then loading the two large trucks. On move-in day at the new house, Mason’s team worked just as hard to get all the things inside. This included getting a large refrigerator in a too-small space, but they were patient with the problem, eventually putting it where needed. They were courteous and treated my parents well. I would certainly use them again.

They arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled move time. They got my belongings packed safely and into their truck quickly. What impressed me was their efficiency and "can do" attitude when we learned that the elevator in my new building was out of service. With a smile, they hauled ten or so boxes, an oversized recliner, a TV table, and a mattress to my new fourth-floor unit and still kept the total move time to 1.5 hours. Having never used a mover before and feeling awful about promising an elevator in my new building, I hope my tip was adequate! I will do everything to use these guys again and spread the word about this excellent service I received.

If I could give this company negative stars, I would. My family has been severely impacted by this company's poor customer service and borderline fraudulent practices. We were quoted one amount, used significantly less than that amount, but still charged the same. That's only the beginning of how poorly this company has treated our family. Between giving us several different days and times that packers would arrive to only have them not show up.. to now not giving us any date/time for our things to be delivered. They're literally holding our possessions hostage and won't disclose where they're being stored. As a military family already being uprooted, we are struggling so much with these poor business practices. Please avoid this company at all costs but even more so if you're a fellow mil-family.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8204

Had an Estimate of $5500 to move from Seattle to Miami with a timeframe for pickup of 3 days.

They call you everyday and were very helpfull.. untill you sign. No contact possible anymore. On the second day of the timeframe I finely had contact with customer services and they told me no carrier could pickup our furniture. No other solutions offered.

I had to rent my appartment an extra day before I had found (of course another) mover.

I will never use this company again and will warn anyone who would listen to find another service provider.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5500

I highly suggest you do not use this moving broker. They hire deplorable company's to move your products. They lie about their services and when you need assistance on a major issue, I had a manager literally say to me "take what we tell with a grain of salt".

They take no responsibility on your move and leave the liability between you and the moving company they hire.

They also attempt to take additional money just like a car dealers finance department in upselling services you don't need and when the company they hired comes to move your furniture they claim not to be aware of them.

The claims process is a joke so be prepared to get no restitution for the damages incurred from the mover APT hires.

I can literally fill up a full page of the issues we had with APT but my best advice is to never use them.

Recently I moved with Moving APT's services for the first time , and would absolutely recommend them! Their booking process is efficient, friendly, and responsive, and their help on moving day made what is usually a stressful day go by smoothly and so quickly. They were efficient, communicative, professional, and awesome all-around. I appreciate their thoroughness with the process and care with all the furniture. A serious huge thanks to the whole team at Moving APT!
