The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with; they are merely brokers who pass themselves off as a moving company; I provided dimensions and they provide me with the incorrect quote; they know what they are doing to obtain the initial deposit; and if you try to cancel the day of pickup, because the price they give you is different from the quote  they will not refund your money; once the furniture is picked up, they wash their hands and pass it to the truck driver; they selected the cheapest option for trucking company beside they took over 40 days to deliver my furniture and now i am missing stuff and they want me to put the claim myself with the trucking company, this should be penalize by law, I will not recommend this company no nobody

The crew that handled my relocation was professional, kind, and entertaining to be around. Their eagerness to complete any task, no matter how simple or difficult, and their positive "can do" attitude were both greatly appreciated. My old apartment was on the ground floor and convenient to the street, so the move went off without a hitch. In contrast, the apartment I was entering was towards the building's rear, and it featured both ground-level steps and an elevator. Despite our helplessness in the face of the elevators, the staff provided outstanding service.

DO NOT USE MOVESAFE.

1. Straight up lying.

I spoke with Shawn, explicitly saying that I had a very specific timeline. I needed my belongings to arrive between 09/19-09/21. The belongings arrived on 09/25 - my first day of work. I wasn't even able to be there when my belongings arrived.

I called, emailed and texted Shawn MULTIPLE TIMES after he said he'd be there for anything that I need - no response. It's been MONTHS.

2. Under promising. Over charging.

MoveSafe asked for the number of boxes, chairs, etc. that I needed to move. They undershot my squarefootage, and on moving day, asked for an additional $800 - I had to decline and sell/giveaway many belongings over the course of 2-3 days.

I called customer service and was told that they'd call me back ASAP. It's 3 months later. Still nothing.

3. My belongings got lost.

I am missing at least one box of my belongings, but I have someone's ice cream/ yogurt maker in my house now, so that's something! By this point, I'm over calling, hoping for a refund. I paid almost $5000 to have anxiety attacks and less sleep. Get local movers. Get PODS. These big moving companies are NOT worth the hassle.

The whole experience was horrible, They underestimated my square footage and the price doubled, I also wanted the stuff delivered the same day but when movers showed up I was told that if I wanted same day delivery it have to be cash or post office certified check, after everything was said and done, the total cost was $2000, $850 for deposit to movesafe and $1150 cash on pick up and delivery and that was for 10 items. There web site says satisfaction guarenteed and stress free. This move was not stress free and I am very dissatisfied.

Read the reviews. The only positive ones I'm sure are paid to do so. Stole my money by charging for services that they did not render, and they don't care. This should be a civil lawsuit, using the "Read your contract" AFTER they verbally tell you things, I even said "I am trusting you that what you say is true". FRAUDULENT go where they have good reviews, NOT THIS ONE! Movers laughed as they cleaned out the glass of one of my paintings and handed it too me! Mover's said "They didn't get the same list I had "and would NOT move the majority of my things that were agreed too. Then this company called and offered me $1300 back! I've had to buy new clothes, jackets, no chairs with my dining room, and I start my new position in 4 days. I now have to find a REPUTABLE mover to do the job I already paid for! I was warned by 2 other companies that these people are crooked, and I WISHED I would've listened. The stress alone is unbelievable. They should NOT be allowed to keep stealing peoples monies because they can. This will, and should cost them new business. BUYER BEWARE!!

Lured me in with an $1830 quote forva 10x20 storage unit. An agent called last week to go over the details. Was told they didn't provide enough room on the truck. Decided to cancel and get my $886 deposit refunded. An agent calls to understand why I want to cancel and I told him. He assures me he fixes the situation but I will be charged $300 more as a bulking fee. Then today the actual movers called to give me a pick up time and tells me I was still sold only 5'x5' worth of space on the truck for the contents of a 10x20 storage unit. SMH. I go to cancel to get my deposit back. No call this time just an email saying I'm past the window of cancelation and they will only send $200 as a courtesy but the remaining $686 will be a credit toward my next move. Horrible business. I regret calling them. I'm not just renting a PENSKE truck and doing it myself. Movesafe Relocation is a SCAM!!

Move size: Office Move Service cost: $2100

This was my first experience with a long distance move. I checked several companies and chose MoveSafe. The man who helped on the phone from Florida, was nice and I believed helpful as I had so many concerns and questions. He assured me that he would be there THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVING EXPERIENCE! He also said I would be contacted by their main office in IL to verify all information. I had 12 bins all packed and ready to ship and the furniture was ready to go. The man in FL asked the size of the bins and I said they were not the small bins but definitely not the largest bins available. He recorded the size of the bins as medium size. PLEASE measure all bins and give specific sizes for all items and especially bins. Make sure the man in FL or whoever sets up the move gets the exact size of all boxes and bins. I was not experienced with this and was charged extra. When the movers came to pick up the items for the move, they said the bins were large and the price would change. Also, I repeated many times to the man on the initial phone call that there was an Ikea bed that was disassembled and told all the parts of the bed. I verified this again when I received a phone call from someone to go over the packing list. When the movers came, they charged extra for the

drawers that were part of the under-bed storage. I was initially quoted a price of $4487. But told if I signed on that day while on the phone, he would deduct $1000. So, the price would be $3487. Sounds good. I paid $1697 on the phone for the suggested down payment. When the movers arrived, looked at all items to be moved, the price went up $2300. The new price would be $5687. The bins and drawers were the main reason for the price change but there was fuel surcharges and a binding fee, whatever that is. I used my credit card to pay half of the final cost and a 10% fee added on for using the card. Then on delivery to final place, the charge would be $1995. They would accept cash or Zelle ONLY. But the guy in FL said they accept money orders. The movers said they don't accept money orders. I knew my son in the Army didn't use Zelle or would he have $2000 in cash to pay the second half of what was owed. They suggested I contact the main office so I could pay the entire bill before delivery so my son would not have to worry about payment. This is where the biggest problems occurred. The woman in the office was not helpful and told me that I could only pay with Zelle, which I don't have. So, I went to my bank, and they helped me get the Zelle app on my phone. (I'm not computer savvy nor do I have many apps on my phone.) When I called back to pay the bill, the woman told me I also needed a debit card associated with the checking acct. I don't have a debit card, nor do I use one. I was so aggravated, and I called the man in FL who set up the move and told him my issues. He transferred me back to IL and the same woman who was not nice. That was the ONLY conversation I had with the FL man the entire time. SO much for 'being there with me for the whole moving process'. What a joke. I finally was able to pay with Zelle after another trip to the bank to obtain a debit card. I asked for receipts for the payments I made and never received any from the moving company. The man in Florida lead me to believe he was the moving company, or part of the company. He is NOT. He is a broker who sets up the moves with moving companies that he has nothing to do with. Though the movers were nice, I will never use the MoveSafe company again or recommend them to anyone. That is a shame because my son in the Army will be making many moves around the country for several years and could use a good moving company. Advice to you, read between the lines and do your homework. Better yet: DON'T USE MOVESAFE RELOCATION!

Absolutely horrible experience -- from beginning to end.

MoveSafe sales reps and customer service reps are script-trained scammers who work on commission, baiting customers with over-the-phone inventories/estimates and "discounts" for military veterans and others.

MoveSafe is NOT a moving company -- they are moving brokers who take thousands of dollars as a "deposit" and then subcontract with shifty, no-name local movers who then demand thousands of dollars more to complete your move.

MoveSafe "relocation specialists" and "customer service" reps are additionally trained scammers. They won't help you with anything; they just give you a runaround and blame the poor schleps they subcontract to move your things.

I have been recognized and have much traffic through my very fair and honest reviews, both in negative, as well as positive experiences. Per our experience, along with what I’ve read from many others, this one by far takes the NEGATIVE cake. They will reel you in with a lowball quote (after you’ve explained in detail what is to be expected and what will be shipped), change arrival times on you more than once, and can not provide a definite date that your items will arrive at destination. (If you would be so bold as to take a chance on these swindlers, be sure to re-check the quote price BEFORE having your items loaded onto the truck (as we luckily did), as our quote was nowhere near the ballpark originally shared, but an ADDITIONAL $3000. Needless to say, we turned them away, but at this point, I would not be surprised if they also attempt to keep the pricey (25%)deposit. The website also shared that packaging/wrapping is included in the price, but that also was not the case. Turns out that per our experience and research, they are the most pricey while offering the least amount of (unprofessional) service. Run, and save yourself time, money and the aggravation. In hopes that this post will keep another unsuspecting person/people from having the same experience. You will surely be better off choosing any other mover

If there is below 0 rating they are far below that .First they won't tell you they are BRoKER so that means they will find you a movers second they will quote you a nice number but don't be fooled those numbers are double even triple than what they say, second they will give you therun around and will tell you different things and when you tell them to cancel they will not give you your deposit back even before they even move your stuff ... they find a real movers to move your stuff that will charge you more than they quote you and you have really no choice to change it then goodluck trying to get your stuff because that's another issue and when you call different person will tell you different things its really frustrating and you just run from one problem plus cost everyime Amanda tells you different than Michael and the guy who I talk to when I hire them was no where to be found ... I contacted them for a move to Oklahoma from Arizona. The first person I spoke to gave me a decent price. Every time I spoke to Move Safe x 3 conversions, the price of the move increased. In the end, I fired them within the 3 business days of the last time I spoke with them. They refused to refund my deposit and even took $370 more out of my account claiming they had a bill of Lading. I am still trying to get my deposit and the additional money back from them. The Bill of Lading was actually a estimate for the move. Their price went up from $2200 to over $3600. They knew that I was unable to do the move myself due to my physical condition and did not have tons of funds. They claimed I was getting discounts for being a Veteran and a Essential Employee (Nurse). And the size of space I was given was only 360 square feet. For those of you who want to know that is a 6X6 space to put my 2-bedroom apartment in. They start out sounding great and turn into something I am not allowed to say in this forum. I believe that this is FRAUD.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. DO NOT use this company. Throughout the entire process, they were dishonest & manipulative. The subcontracted companies they work with are also questionable & unethical, aiming only to extort more money! I started with a $5400 quote & ended up paying $12000 by the time the nightmare was over. Upon delivery, they simply unloaded our belongings without any attempt to reassemble as promised/contracted. They sorely lack care and professionalism.

I've used MoveSafe Relocation two times in the previous year (once from a second floor apartment to a storage unit and once from a storage unit to a fifth floor stroll up). I have just extraordinary comments about them! I don't recollect who was in my group the initial time, however this subsequent time was 3 men group. They arrived as expected, didn't waste any time getting to work or getting to the SUBSEQUENT AREA, and they were extremely informative. They got all my furniture up to the fifth floor like bosses, collected everything, and even took extra pre-watchfulness to try not to get a stopping ticket. Ideally I will not be moving again at any point in the near future, however assuming that I was, I would employ them once more.

Brief, inconceivably productive, open, and supportive. They were accessible last moment, and saved me in a last moment move. These guys moved us from a second story walkup to a fourth story walkup. They needed to dismantle and reproduce an IKEA bed, a love seat, a television stand, and a peloton bicycle in addition to other things. They worked effectively. They were on time and extremely proficient. They moved things cautiously and as proficiently as could really be expected. They initially gave a two hour gauge however the work turned out to be four. They obviously conveyed cost changes as the gig continued and costs were cutthroat with different movers nearby. Would suggest MoveSafe Relocation and his guys for your move.

I had the pleasure of booking my move with Shawn. I was a little hesitant at first, but he made me feel very comfortable by taking the time to walk me through every single step of the way and made the process so stress free for me. He was able to apply some discounts that also really made the move so much more doable for my family and I. When the movers arrived they were very kind and helpful as well as professional. My stuff also arrived in an extremely timely manner the day I needed it to come in which we discussed on the phone. I would %100 use this company again! And I’m so thankful I got referred to them. Highly recommend!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4000

On 5/2/2024, we spoke to Leo from Movesafe regarding our inventory and told him we filled an entire semi when we moved from Ohio to NY and would need a total of 4k sq ft. He stated that we were paying for the full semi, so the itemization was not required and my total cost for packing and moving would be 12,807.50.

The contract I received on 5/16 stated 3275 cf, which was not in line with our previous discussions. When I inquired about this, Leo assured me that it was irrelevant, for I was paying for the full semi at no additional charge. However, a revised contract for 3130 cf was sent to me later that same day, adding to the confusion.

When the quality control called, we informed him of the arrangement and that we did not need to itemize. He stated we would still have to pay for boxes over 100, so if we started packing ourselves, that would save us money, so we did. We packed up ~40% of our belongings before the movers arrived.

When the movers arrived, they insisted on cash payment (they would not accept checks or credit cards) and stated that the move would cost me an additional 3k due to extra items. Instead, I went to UHaul and rented a 20-foot truck, filling it ourselves with all my garage and yard items, washer and dryer, and several boxes from inside the home. Even with getting the truck, they still tried charging me the same 3k!

I called Movesafe to discuss this, and they informed me that they were investigating the recordings, which would take 3-5 days. The movers told me that I would only get my belongings once I paid in full.

The movers would not assist in taking items to the dumpster, scratched my pavement, left many marks on the wall, and left multiple cupboards unpacked. Even with all of the frustration, we decided to tip the moving crew. then they had the nerve to ask us for more money.

Movesafe is a moving broker, not a direct moving company. I paid almost 14K when all said and done to move 287 miles. If I could do it all over again, I would of done it ALL myself!

They used Eversafe as a name to profit of their reviews but that is not their company, hence them now being forced to change their name (move safe). They are crooks and that situatuon says it all. I was promised BS and after booking they did not care and havent since. I was given different amounts due at delivery 6 times over 2 weeks weeks after picking up my stuff, even after confirming multiple times day of was still given a different amount and ended up paying well over a thousands dollars more. My stuff was delivered and every large piece of furniture is significantly damaged. I paid to have my stuff delivered unusable. I had boxes delivered completely smashed open. Communication is horrible. Delivery was days later than planned with no communication. The list goes on and on. I was genuinely scared to open my boxes and see how much more of my belongings are destroyed.

In additon I was forced to pay a $600 shuttle fee when no shuttle was needed and that was confirmed prior and then changed last min. Since there are semis on my st weekly as u will see in attached photo. Tried escalating many times and after 9 months was told sorry for ya, you have to contact the driver who is out of the country and doesn't speak English. No compensation for damaged items. Nobody cares. Use any othe companies. This place IS HORRIBLE. ID RECOMMEND CONTACTING ACTUAL Eversafe

I got an estimate. Before I could get off the phone, I felt pressured into giving a credit card number which was charged over $800. After hanging up, I looked up reviews and decided to do more research before I commit to any company. The contract allowed 72 hours to cancel. I canceled the afternoon of the same day. I was called by Michael Giordano from MoveSafe and he said to me, you want to base your decision on reviews, you don't have good reviews yourself. I felt attacked by this company's representative for choosing to cancel a contract within the appropriate period! MoveSafe, your reps behavior solidified I made the right decision!!!!!

These people seem VERY nice- but they are not. They are cheaters and scammers. They advertise "commmitment to excellence", "great Communication"- not true. THIS IS A SCAM. They hold you hostage when they come to move you and double the price. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE who will not honor their estimates. Our household items are currently in storage and we are trying to get our stuff moved to our own storage facility. They won't answer our calls. This has affected our family because while we thought we were responsibly planning a move from Michigan to Florida we have been charged THOUSANDS of dollars we didn't plan on and now we are becoming concerned that we will see our household items again. They promise to "give us 10 days to consider" or "settle this by the end of the week" but they don't call back. NO STARS only WARNING Moving is hard- they make it into a nightmare.

I was quoted a move from New York State to California for $8400. I was told our household goods would be moved in an exclusive door-to-door small truck. Our goods only! They would be bubble wrapped and covered in blankets. I was told they only used the best, most reliable movers. The reality is the goods were picked up in a small truck, and then shipped to New Jersey and put on a large moving van, They were handled a total of five times by my estimate. The price went from $8400 to over $16,000. We actually moved fewer goods than Movesafe originally saw in a two hour zoom call. Movesafe later claimed that we had somehow magically added goods. It’s an absolute lie! We actually left three large items; two bookcases and dresser behind. After the pick up, we received no communication from Movesafe. I called them a week later, and they told me the goods were in California and they would be delivered in the next day or two. The movers in California showed up at 8:45 PM at night in the dark, and unloaded the total truck (NOW estimated to be 2,400 cu ft) in less than two hours. we had to give them cash or money orders before they would take the goods off the truck. We told them at the beginning that a large moving van would not fit into our housing development. They went and rented a U-Haul truck, transferred the goods to the U-Haul truck and then delivered them to our house. The goods were totally banged up. They charged us an additional $1300 to transfer the goods. They virtually threw stuff everywhere. It was a nightmare! They never reassembled the things that had been disassembled on the shipping side. I have made over 20 moves in my lifetime and this was UNEQUIVOCALLY the worst. MoveSafe added absolutely NO value. You can’t believe their quote. It is a total bait and switch operation. Zero integrity. People who I talked to, who had assured me things would go well, ghosted me when I tried to reach out to them. Totally avoided me. Don’t fall into this trap.

Go to a real moving company and save yourself a lot of time, energy, and anxiety! Most likely the quote will be higher, but it will in fact be the real cost of moving your goods. You will at least get to choose your own carrier, and do your own due diligence on their reputation. Hopefully it won’t be a low price lure to later dramatically increase the price.

This was the biggest mistake I have ever made in moving. I wish I had read these reviews! MoveSafe offered me an insulting $500 to sign an NDA saying that I would not rate them on any sites. Can you imagine? $500 not to reveal what my experience was? They have cost me thousands of dollars in lost sleep, and anxiety over something that should’ve been very routine! I only hope I can save some other people from this mess!
