I would like to thank you for the attention and time you have shown me regarding the collection and delivery of my mothers beautiful furniture. All the staff I spoke to had great respect and understanding of how much sentiment the furniture possessed to the family and I am glad to say that it was handled with the care we wanted. The wrapping, packing and unpacking was well worth the money and I could not fault the attention to detail. “Magnifico” as Brian kept saying?

Service cost: £1800

The collection was on time and with a four man crew full packing service and loaded the same day with great care.
The delivery was arranged at a time to suit both Movecorp and my self and went without a hitch Jason and Jason worked very well together and the job was done in no time.
I would highly recommend Movecorp for any international removal,

To sum up I don't think anyone else could have done it better.

Service cost: £4000

Extremely poor service. Not only inexcusable delays due to poor vehicle fleet with no immediate replacements but also losing items (expensive and pretty big ones).

A good idea is to insure all your items, but not with them. They will apply the contract until its last consequence with no mercy or consideration for the client. So if you do not insure the items you might get 40 GBPs per item if so. In my case still nothing and still waiting for feedback on where my items are, not even have been classified as lost after a month of its delivery.

Very fast by collecting your money, one of their clauses in the contract explains that they are not liable for delays (no matter the length of them or the cause of them) so the customer gets no guarantee on when the items will arrive. At all. Even on agreed dates when they do not show up they are still covered and will not give any of your money back.

They will also challenge you by phone and argue.

I hope that if you are reading this is not because you are already experiencing something similar. You can try also the removals ombudsman service. In my case and due to this kind of contract signed they could not do anything being the court the only possible mechanism to claim what is yours. And with no guarantee for winning it.

Just think a little bit about the bad reviews you see online against the five star reviews and take your own decision. It is cheap for a reason.

I would like to say that my family miss England but that would be a lie. Australia is out of this world and we would like to thank you and everyone on your staff for how effortlessly and perfectly the move was handled. Our items were carefully wrapped and handled and arrived without any damage. All the communication was clear, complete and timely as was the correspondence. Phone calls were polite and professional and everyone we dealt with were wonderful. We would recommend you to anyone wanting a great move carried out at a fair and realistic price, other companies who did not get our business take note.

Service cost: £3450

The men were brilliant!  The office administration was very efficient.  However the communication within the company was not good.  We live in an isolated area of France where Sat Nav is a hindrance rather than a help.  We offered detailed access instructions but the office were not interested.  The men, as I anticipated, found themselves on a one track road but luckily rang us and managed to reverse before they got completely stuck.  My delivery included a small but reasonably heavy upright piano.  At the Durham end Ed, Fraizer and Jamie were swift and efficient but found getting the piano out of the house onto the lorry extremely difficult.  There was no ramp nor trolley.  I asked for there to be a ramp at the France end.  The men at Durham promised to inform the office. At the France end, the delivery was late because the office had failed to consider an annual bank holiday. The men had no ramp nor had they been informed that it was a first floor delivery. Richard and Stuart, along with my husband, strained themselves to the limit to get the piano up the steps to the first floor. I have been assured that if my load is under the volume paid for (which I am almost certain it is) I will be refunded the balance. Would I recommend the company?  Yes, but if there are exceptional circumstances, I suggest that you be extremely assertive with the office as regards detailed instructions.

As we believe this was going to be our last ever move we decided to use the packing service offered by Movecorp and are so glad we did. It was nice to let someone else do the work and just try and take it easy. We were only moving a short distance from Lincoln to Oxford to move in with the wifes mother who needs looking after so the majority of our furniture was going to be stored in her garage. Everything went smoothly with the lads patiently waiting for the wife to work out where she wanted the furniture placed in the garage and everything unpacked and no breakages. Don't believe we will but would definitely use again and recommend.
