I had a 2-4 arrival time. Although they didn't show until 4:45 they were courteous enough to call me around 2:45 and let me know they would be late which allowed me to get more things done. I moved from a 3rd floor (elevator building) apartment to a 4th floor walk-up apartment. I had moved a lot of my things early in the day and had 3-4 boxes, a bed, and a dresser. The move had a small hiccup considering I was moving to Center City. The truck was really big for such a small number of items (I was told it was due to such a large move earlier in the day) and the truck wasn't able to be parked long on the street as buses couldn't get by. After about 45 minutes a manager showed up to assist and all of my belongings were inside and up to my 4th floor apartment in about an hour. They were nice enough to not charge me for the time that no work could get done and they busted their butts to get everything up the 50 steps! .

I have used this company three times in the past and am about to use them again.  I have furniture for a studio, so these weren't huge moves.  They have done a wonderful job every time.  I've recommended them to friends and they've always had a wonderful experience as well.  They wrap everything for you and don't nickle and dime for those "extras".  The price you think you're getting is what you really get.  Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this company!

TERRIBLE!  STAY AWAY!The guys arrived in a Budget rental truck. Late.  Very unprofessional.  They spent much time moving slowly, taking smoking breaks, etc.  Even discarded cigarettes and dirty rags on my drivewayThey broke several items -- and lied about it (though fortunately I have photos which I will use in a small claims action).They  also broke a tree.They insisted on payment, but would not give me a copy of the papers I signed -- on which I wrote "CONTEST CHARGES", "DAMAGE" etc.  They asked me to sign a waiver, which I would not.  I have asked repeatedly for a copy of those papers, which they refuse to respond to, but again, fortunately, I thought to take photos of them.They would not initially respond to my phone calls or emails -- until I disputed the charges and threatened to sue them.  Then I received emails from the anonymous "claims department", telling me I could not speak to a person and had to follow their "process."  Still ignoring my requests, they then informed me that since I disputed the charges,  they would not accept my claim or discuss it with me.  DO NOT USE THESE GUYS, ad if you are foolish enough to do so (as I was), make sure you take lots of photos and use your most consumer friendly credit card.   Oh, and by the way: their "special", after added charges, is effectively the same price as their "regular" charges.  I wouldn't use these guys if they were FREE!

We have used Milestone before and had no problems with our first experience with them, so we thought, hey let's use them again! Our intuition and past experience was spot on.  This last move was an easy and quick one, but Milestone did a great job working hard the entire 3 hours it took and all of our personal belongings arrived at the new residence in excellent condition. We couldn't be more pleased with the company.  Definitely will recommend and use them again!  Thanks Milestone!
