A few months ago I made the decision to move from Michigan to Florida to be with my fiance. I had never moved out of state before, or lived anywhere besides a small town called Otisville. For obvious reason, I was very hesitant based on the horror stories I read online about some moving companies..rest assured, Medal of Honor is not one of them! They are the good guys. Everything they said in the very first call, was true all the way up to the end when they picked up and delivered my items to Florida. They even had a quality assurance call to clean up some of the items I forgot when we booked the move. Mike Larson was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful going through all the items a second time. Please don't walk to this company for your next move..RUN!! 5 stars all the way.

I reached out to this company hoping to save some money and not have to struggle by myself to move out of my home. It was super easy to communicate and to have my things handled by strangers was scary but I can say. This company is one you can trust with their hard-working team they are all so friendly. I was suggested to use this from a friend who has seen this website and the reviews are great. I would definitely recommend this moving team to family and friends who plan on moving no matter the distance they can give you an estimate for you before you even use their service.

I am beyond satisfied with this group, they were quick, efficient and most of all, careful. Ralph and Austin made me feel at ease with everything. They loaded the truck in a timely manner and got on the road. Upon arrival to my new home, they got right to work, carefully unloading everything. They took great care in their work and that made me feel more relaxed. I dare say, I even enjoyed the experience. Needless to say, I will definitely be calling them again for my next move.

So, I was planning on a move from Utah to Texas and I talked to Benjamin Knight and he was SO HELPFUL and answered all my questions until I felt comfortable agreeing to work with his company. THE ONLY THING IS my move got postponed indefinitely because of the Covid-19, so I didn't get the full experience working with this company. But if the move gets back on track you know I will be contacting my buddy, Benjamin. They get five stars from me though based on what I did get to experience.

I recently had my 3-bedroom house moved by Medal of Honor Moving Group and I really have to say it was much easier than I expected. Moving can be really stressful and I had to move nearly 300 miles. These guys made the move easy and they were very professional. They showed up on time and everything showed up with no problems. The price was much better priced than the other moving companies too. I highly recommend giving this company a call if you have a move in your near future!

In the past, I have always looked to the conventional way of moving. I would rent a truck, grab some family friends, and spend all day lugging everything to my new location. But with me making an out of state move, I knew that I'd have to seek out the service of movers. I made several calls for quotes and all the prices were average out to the same median. To move a 2 bedroom house 90 miles was costing me over $3,000! I was just about to cancel the move altogether when I stumbled upon Medal of Honor. They ended up being my best move! They cared for my belongings as if they were their own and the customer service was impeccable. Thankfully, I was moving into my first purchased home, and I probably won't need to move again, but if I ever decide to upgrade to a larger home I'll be calling Medal of Honor to do the honors!

We just wanted to move out of state without a hassle. I was kind of skeptical about using the Medal of Honor Moving Group at first because I didn’t think they would be open due to COVID-19. Prior to getting an estimate on the cost of our move, I assumed that they would inflate prices that some companies think they can get away with, easily during these tough times. The total cost of the move was only $2500, which is cheap compared to other moving companies in the area. I was pretty amazed at their professionalism, and kindness because everyone seems to be on edge nowadays.

This was my first time moving as an adult. I moved a lot a kid in the military but the military always covered everything and we usually had something broken and it was very stressful. I was really nervous and researched and got quotes from other companies. One of my friends used Medal of Honor Moving Group and so I took their recommendation and I'm glad I did. They did an amazing job. I moved from Indianapolis, Indiana to Grand Rapids, Michigan for less than $2500. This was much less than some of the other quotes I received. They were easy to communicate with and handled my move with care. They made a stressful time extremely easy. I would definitely recommended them to friends and will use them again if ever needed!

So, I went online searching for movers and oh man did I get some replies. From going online I got at least 20 calls from multiple companies, wow, that was crazy. My 1st or 2nd call was a guy names Chris from Medal of Honor Moving. He took me through the whole process and was patient and helped me with this stressful move across the country. His quote was a little higher than the rest BUT he explained about companies giving low ball quotes. I was confused.. how can a company give me an “official’ estimate and change the price?? I am EXTREMELY glad I listened to him, I called my brother (who moved before) and he told me about his horrible experience with going with a low quote. Anyway, these guys are great. My move was smooth and Chris always answered his phone. Thank you thank you thank you.

My experience with Medal of Honor Moving Group was excellent. Their moving rate was fair and their customer service was very, very good! My in- state move was last minute due personal reasons, and Medal of Honor Moving Group gave me first rate service; from my first conversation with their knowledgeable and personable office staff, to moving day with very nice movers, to their follow up customer service. The move was easy for me due to the expertise of this excellent company! I will refer them to my friends and my family.

I chose Medal of Honor Moving, they are great. The guy on the phone was very helpful from start to finish. I used movers over 5 times in my life and this was by far the easiest and best experience to date. Usually it is nothing like they say on phone , but Medal of Honor Moving sure did deliver. I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family. They also will ship your car. Thanks Medal of Honor! I recommend them to anyone moving a long distance.

I wanted to adjust the previous review made based on MOHMG response, but was unable to figure out how to do so and so I wrote a new review.

As mentioned before, Chris was exceptional when detailing my initial moving expectations.

After my previous review and prior to MOHMG responding, I called and spoke to their CSR manager, who I have to commend for her professionalism and attention to detail. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name, otherwise I could credit her here.

I expressed my displeasure at the choice of company, timeline, and communicative practices.

The CSR manager I spoke to listened, explained what the process could look like going forward and assured me that she would take the issue to her GM right away.

I would like to make it known that MOHMG’s customer service has ALWAYS been exemplary. My issue was with the online reputation of the company selected to be responsible for my move.

MOHMG, I don’t want a refund or compensation. I agreed to the amount and I’m going to pay that amount. All I ask is that you ensure other customers are serviced by third party entity’s that exhibit the same customer service standards that you do.

In July, I had a small move (1 bedroom apartment) but a long distance (Texas to Michigan). Every other moving company I booked with would either cancel at the last minute, or else they would fail to find me a truck in time, and on the day of the scheduled move, they would tell me that they were still trying to find a truck for me.

Eventually, it was just a day or two before my move, and I was getting anxious. My apartment lease was going to end, and I still hadn't found a way to move my things.

I called Medal of Honor, and they promised me that they could have a truck the next day! I signed the contract, and just a few hours later, I got a call from Early Bird Moving & Logistics, telling me that they were hired by Medal of Honor, and that would be arriving "tomorrow."

Sure enough, the next day, Early Bird Moving & Logistics showed up with a truck.

My things got loaded up, and just a few days ago, I received all my goods, undamaged. At this moment, I am typing this review on the desktop computer that came off the truck, undamaged.

(The shipment took about a month because I only filled up about 1/3 of a truck. They filled the rest of the truck with other people's shipments, and they made a few deliveries in other states before they got to mine. I only had to pay for 1/3 of a truck, but in return, I had to wait longer for my delivery.)

So in summary, Medal of Honor came through. Every other company had been canceling on me, but Medal of Honor found me a truck with one day's notice. And that truck - driven by Early Bird Moving & Logistics - delivered all my goods, safe and sound, for the agreed price. That's everything I wanted.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2800

I was very satisfied with Medal of Honor Moving Group. The estimation in terms of the cubic feet was very accurate and their estimate on the cost of the move as a result was spot on. Our house was not finished on time, foundation issues cause a delay of almost a year but it was in increments. I had to adjust our moving dates at least 6 times and every time I called MOHMG they were helpful, courteous, and most importantly very understanding. They were a pleasure to work with.

It is true that they are not the movers but rather an agency, but their price was in line with the other folks I called when comparing prices.

The thing that keeps me from giving them a 5 is not MOHMG specifically, but rather the folks that they contracted with to move us. This company was also courteous but tried cutting too many corners (like size of truck and number of movers) in order to maximize their own profit. Everything was moved basically on time but it was not a pleasant experience.

Having said that, MOHMG listened to my complaint about the company and seemed genuinely concerned with my move and the feedback I provided them.

I guess the bottom line is -- "Would I go through MOHMG again" and the answer is "Yes".

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $16000

Medal of Honor is not a moving company, but in fact a brokerage company. The quote we received from them was significantly better than any other quote, so we opted to go with them. They require a deposit up front, which should have been our first red flag. Less than a week before our move, after not hearing anything, we contacted them to set up final plans, which is when we discovered they are a brokerage firm. They also had conveniently left off almost half of our belongings on the inventory estimate, so our price more than doubled. So close to our move, it was too late to switch companies and we had already paid them money. They will broker you out to the lowest bidder and we unfortunately had all kinds of issues with the actual moving company - see my review of Quick Easy Movers for more details. I do not recommend their services at all. I truly believe their marketing strategy is to underestimate your inventory in order to win your business.

I am no stranger to moving. With my husbands job we’ve had to move several times. We’ve had both great and terrible experiences with moving companies. Medal of Honor will definitely being going in the great category. Our pick up was delayed which was slightly frustrating but their communication and customer service was wonderful. But other than the slight hiccup in the beginning everything else went very smoothly. Movers were very professional and were able to get everything loaded in the space I was quoted from the start and even though we had the delay in the beginning they were still able to make our delivery date which helped me a lot. Big thank you to Medal of Honor and their entire team. We truly appreciate you making this process as stress free as possible especially during this time of year. THANK YOU!!!!!!
