I was referred to Long Distance Inc s from an auto transport company I used twice before. The guys at Long Distance Inc s did an excellent job. Came to the house on time and had great attention to detail. Unhooked my washer and dryer and even helped me with unhooking pieces of my hot tub (I wasn't transporting this with them it was going with a freight company but they still helped) all in all I was impressed with how friendly and professional Alex and the guys where when they were at my house. Matt told me things would go smooth and I have zero complaints. Great job.

I heard the radio ad for $100 off on packaging material and decided to check them out. I spoke with Thomas in customer service about the items I was bringing and he transferred me to Sammy who helped me out the rest of the way. Sammy gave me a good price and after shopping around a little bit we decided to use Long Distance Inc s. it was such a headache looking through all the companies bad reviews so it was a fairly easy decision. Sammy honored the price we originally spoke about and scheduled his crew to come out to our house. Ail supervised the crew and made sure everything got done properly. The guys were fast and reliable. Price quoted: $3186 ended up only being $3049.

My wife went online to find a moving truck and ended up getting 10 calls from full service moving companies. At first we weren't planning on using a mover; we were just going to do it ourselves. After comparing the prices of moving companies to a truck rental we decided it was worth a little bit extra to just have a company do it. We first contracted with a company called assurance van lines. But we then spoke with Sammy at Long Distance Inc s who informed us that assurance was actually a moving broker and doesn't own any trucks. He took the time to show us everything on a federal website. Assurance told us they'd be the ones actually doing the move when in fact they were just going to sub contract it out. When we tried to get our money back from assurance they gave us a hard time and didn't treat us with the same respect they showed when trying to earn our business. So unprofessional. We ended up having to call our credit card company to get our money back. If it wasn't for Sammy’s persistence we would’ve ended up in a bad situation. Sammy’s guys did an excellent job from start to finish. It was a Long Distance Inc s truck that showed up and actual Long Distance Inc s employees. Alex (the foreman) was polite and professional. With all the horror stories companies warned us about it was a really nice to have gotten it right the first time. Would recommend people do their homework.

I didn't pick Long Distance Inc s at first. Matt had called when I initially filled out for a quote online. We had talked for a while about my move but their price was a couple hundred dollars more than some of the other quotes we got. Although they had good reviews the other company’s price was too good to pass up on. Matt had warned me about bait and switch pricing be we were under the impression that the estimate pricing was guaranteed. The company we chose, liberty moving, showed up and tried to almost double our price. They loaded everything in the truck and didn't say anything to us about a price increase until they were done. My husband and I were furious. We ended up having to call the police to get them to take everything off. We had to be out of our house in 2 days and definitely couldn't afford to pay double. I remembered the conversation I had with matt and what he told me to watch out for. I immediately called him to see if they could get us in on short notice. I wish I had listened to him before hand. He was able to get a truck to our house the next day and charged us the price he initially quoted us WITH NO HEADACHES. I just got done leaving a 1 star review for liberty and I promised Matt I would write and tell about how he helped us out. Long Distance Inc s was honest and professional from the beginning 5 out of 5.

Lawrence was our representative and did a great job from start to finish. He spent 35 minutes talking with me and then called my husband to go over everything with her. I had no idea threes so much to go through when choosing a mover and prepping for the actual move day. If Lawrence wouldn't have been there to answer questions for us we definitely wouldn't have done certain things (like packing the TV and lamps) correctly. Sons dispatch supervisor, Blake, was always available with questions on delivery. I get that threes a lot of moving parts and it was great to have open communication until our items arrived.

Outstanding service will recommend to all my friends If anybody has ever moved, you know finding a reliable, honest company is a very hard thing to do. I spoke with several companies. Their phone reps were pushy and seemed to just want to collect payment and rush on to the next caller. My rep at was the total opposite. He was patient and walked me through the entire process. He wanted to be sure that we covered everything so there were no surprises come moving day. Would highly recommend them if you want someone friendly!

I had to move my items from upstate NY to AZ after I graduated from RIT. I got one of the 100$ off packing coupons from someone on campus and called Long Distance Inc s. I talked with and did an inventory list over the phone. We scheduled the move 3 weeks in advance and Lawrence was able to give me a discount. When Alex, Abraham, and Bassam got to the house they did a fabulous job. I requested that the driver call me 2 hours before they arrived so I could leave work on time and they remembered to call. When they got to my home the guys worked very hard and were very friendly. Even though I was Long Distance Inc babbly twice as much as a normal 2 bedroom apartment they still got it done in less than 4 hours. I bought the guys lunch and sent them on their way. I was told it could take up to 10 days however they arrived in 7. The crew that arrived on delivery was just as polite and helpful (James, and mike). They placed everything inside and took the tape and plastic wrap with them. Overall id rate them a 5 out of 5 and have already recommended them to other friends who just graduated. Also saving $200 doesn't hurt.

I heard the ads on the radio more than a few times. When my husband and I were doing research on companies we felt Long Distance Inc s offered the best value. The price was fair and most of the reviews were good. The initial quote was 2999 to move our 3 bedroom house from Rhinebeck to Raleigh. Matt was our representative and he was friendly, informative, and most importantly; available. We had some hiccups with the closing of our house and needed to move our pick up date much closer than originally anticipated. It was their willingness to meet our needs that caused me to write this review. Matt didn't charge us anything extra and even rearranged their schedule to get to our house before the close date. When Bassam and his crew showed up they did a great job. I’ve always moved myself and it’s usually a 3 day affair, however the guys got everything done in less than a day. Overall I was happy with how everything went and id says they over delivered on their services. 5 out of 5 for sure.

I had a corporate move which means my company was paying directly for everything. Sammy was really good about coordinating everything with our HR department and getting the payments directly from them (made my life much easier). When the guys arrived they accidentally dispatched two trucks but once we got through the confusion everything went well. I was originally pretty nervous as I didn't pick Long Distance Inc s myself; my company did. I didn't get a whole lot of time to research them but I was put at ease when the crew got to work and was very informative as to how and why they were doing certain things. They packed my TVs and glass tables and everything was good. On delivery they showed up an hour late but other than that no complaints. My work assignment in California is temporary and I will request to use Long Distance Inc s again when I move to my next location. Thanks again guys- special thanks to Blake in dispatch too.

I've used Long Distance Inc s twice- once for my sons move and now this time for our move. The first time the service was good, everything went as promised-this second time they gave me a repeat customer discount and did just as good. Lawrence was our representative both times and Abraham was the foreman both times as well. I like that they are a family run business and their service definitely shows it. I used allied once before and their service wasn't nearly as good.

Just got my items delivered to me in Seattle. Overall my experience with Long Distance Inc s was pretty good. The guy’s last minute had to change the pickup date a day later which I wasn't planning on- and quite honestly I wasn't very happy about it. Ryan promised me they would in turn get the delivery there a day early. At first I thought he was just telling me what I wanted to hear but the guys got here on time for delivery. My husband called back Ryan to apologize (we yelled at him) but he's on vacation. In the grand scheme of things the pickup thing wasn't a huge issue and everything arrived in one piece and on time.

I initially went online to request a moving quote and ended up getting about 37 phone calls from all sorts of movers. The fourth guy I spoke with was Lawrence at Long Distance Inc s. Lawrence actually took the time to break down to me how the industry works and what to look out for. Every other time I had moved it’s always been a military move where I don't have to do anything. I very quickly learned that when hiring your own company threes a plethora of things to be mindful of. Lawrence was the only mover that took the time to show me reviews and ratings; he also showed me DOT information on their company. He took his time and ultimately that what earned our business. We scheduled our pick up on a Friday and the delivery landed on the following Wednesday. When the items arrived one of their guys dropped a box and ended up breaking the china that was inside. I called Lawrence to see what they were going to do about it and he gave me a number for their claims department. I filed a claim and they had gotten a check out to me within a week. At first I was a little upset but I realize things do happen and I'm just glad there was insurance to make up for it. Overall the guys were very professional and they did a good job about reimbursing me quickly.

I was relocating for a job transfer and the moving supivisor was very professional and reliable. He took me through the process of moving, and any questions I had, he always answered them. The crew was very friendly and professional too. He labeled all my furniture and organized it pretty well. If I told him to put it somewhere, he would put the furniture wherever I wanted to. He also put pads all over the stairs so the wooden floors wouldn’t get scratched. They did a great job when it came to taking care of not only my property, but the actual location itself. It was a great move.

The crew was Demitry, Andre and Nick (apologies if misspelled). These guys were amazing and I would recommended them to anyone. These guys busted there behinds with a smile while cracking jokes and having a good time along the way. With Demitry you got guy who probably could lift the house himself with Andre who looks like he will lift the house and the truck. Nick is a great kid who sounded like he is excited about college and working hard to make some money with the team. Just an outstanding hard working crew trying to make your move as easy as possible.
Way to go Long Distance for the quick turnaround and great crew!

The crew working with Long disntance were outstanding! We paid for a storage option to keep our possessions which include pieces of furniture from our old residence for 4 months until eventually, we transferred to our new home. All of the movers showed up at our old house on the day of the transfer. Those things were kept in their storage facility and immediately after the 4 months, we called the Customer Service again to schedule one more transferring from the storage to our new home.

I was moving 700 miles, state to state, right up to New Jersey, for work. My co-worker’s family member referred me to Long Distance Incsince they have used them. I gaveLong Distance inc a call and walked them through my house and told them what I needed to move. I worked with Dylan. He explained to me what their service includes, what they did, and how much the loading and unloading would cost, as well as the additional packing services. So I added some packing on and he gave me a price which was cheap. It was cheaper than Mayflower, one of the bigger guys, which quoted me $3,000.

I moved from NY to CO for work. I was quoted for the move about 2400 and when the big day came, the movers came and told me that what was quoted was completely wrong and re-estimated the new costs to be around 6000. I went over the list with the original contact multiple times and there were a few boxes that were extra but not 3600 more. They finally delivered the stuff at around 10pm a few weeks later and since I couldn't see the stuff there was lot of boxes and furniture missing. in addition I had very expensive furniture broken. I have called them several times and all I get is a receptionist saying we can't do anything except to take a message and no one has called me back.

5.28.18 Company picked up my things, they did a walk through to see how much stuff I had in the Apt. My original quote was for about $2,400, I made a deposit payment of $525 debit. I thought that with the walk through they would tell me how much additional it would cost but didn't! after all my thing were in the truck the lead man of the packers tells me that the total cost of my move would be $6,503 because I had taken up about 1,500 c.u. ft on the truck. At this point I'm not sure what to do?!! All of my things are in the truck from a 2nd floor NY Apt with no elevator. I wanted to tell them to bring all my things back upstairs and leave, but I am human. That was a lot of work; took them 5 hours to take all things down there. So I paid the 2nd payment of $3,950 cash and hen had the nerve to ask me for tip! I called the company and got a call back form Ryan their "manager" and after speaking with him he assured me that I would get an additional discount after the truck gets loaded and ready to deliver, to my surprise that never happened and was never again able to get him on the phone, my things then went to storage warehouse and they stayed for 2 weeks. My move was delivered on 6.17.18 I paid the remaining balance of $1,452 cash. Every made it to me except for 3 very expensive hand painted art, and they managed to damage my gas range, 3 door refrigerator, and LG washer. I called multiple times and got Tommy on the phone and I explained 3 of my possessions have been stolen. Because what other explanation is there? He said that maybe my things got left behind at the warehouse and he would have his guys check over the weekend. I called the following Tuesday and Tommy said they didn't find anything, that maybe the things were sent to a different address and that he will contact all of the other customers to see if they got wrong items delivered, clearly that never happened! I called the movers who unpacked me, since they had 4 other moves after mine, I asked them if he saw my paintings and sent him pictures. He said they did not see them. At this point I was directed by Tommy to do a claim and proceed that way. So I did. Today 8.9.18 I was sent an email with a settlement of $112.50 for my stolen and damaged good! What a JOKE!! This is Ludacris!! You over charge my move and damage and steal my things and then offer me pennies for the loss and damages? This company needs to get sued and license needs to be revoked! They are an injustice to the community and shouldn't be servicing anyone.

Our move finally happened - and despite all of our hard work before and after Long Distance did their thing, it was a MONSTER of a job! These guys are great. Nani is very professional, and he sent out some very experienced and efficient movers. The items I was concerned about (Breakables) were treated with great care - but what struck me most was that everything was handled like it was just as important.I spent more than what they originally quoted, which was surprising because I had moved both of our beds myself. And we had moved all of the small stuff prior to them showing up. But even I had no idea how quickly the truck would be filled. We just have WAY too much stuff. In other words, it might be time to purge.A few more details.. These guys navigated large items through small openings. They had to take some of it apart and put it back together in order to do this. They kept checking in to make sure that they were doing an exceptional job.
Bottom line - this was the best moving experience I have ever had. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Very professional, and they do everything they say they'll do. No issues with any of the pieces moved. I appreciated that the lead mover was always keeping an eye on how much furniture was left and how much room was left in the truck. They made sure to prioritize such that anything I could potentially move myself was left till last. They ended up fitting everything at the end but it was thanks to their planning. Thank Long Distance Group my moving experience was amazing.

This company is the worst.

I moved from Los Angeles to Chicago. They lost an item that never got delivered. They never attempted to look for it and have it sent to me and then claimed they were not responsible for paying me for the item. 3 of my furniture pieces (less than a year old) were broken when they arrived.

They made me pay a fee once they arrived because their truck couldn't fit to deliver my items (however they had all of this information when I booked the move, including my address). And I was told by the office management of the building that they have never had a truck NOT fit in the very very wide alley. With all of the technology that is available these days, there is no excuse for not looking at satelite views of where you are delivering to and being up front about the cost.

They had confirmed that I would have a morning pick up and then the day of told me they wouldn't be arriving until 5pm - and I had a 6 hour drive that I had to complete that day.

It has been 6 months since my move was complete and I still have not received my payment from my lost and damanged items even though the claim was approved. I have contacted them 6+ times and no one will respond. I contacted the claims company and they said that this is common that the moving company does not respond.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The are AWFUL and a total scam.

I moved from California to Texas before I hired this company I informed them that I needed my items in a week I was told by regulation they had to tell me it will take 14 days but that they will do it in a week and it took more than 3 weeks and had to keep calling them when the movers arrived The 2 gentleman where very nice and apologetic because one of my dresser leg was broken and explained to me to just call the number on my receipt that they will take care of that for me. I filed my claimed with CSI the 3rd party for Long Distance and was informed that it may take up to 6 months to get the claimed settled. I had to keep following up with both Companies but eventually CSI determined and valued my lost for $153 dollars in may 2018 and in July I spoke to supervisor because I had not received the check his name is TOMMY told me he was sending the payment 07/30/2018 have not received it yet 09/13/2018 they Don't even respond to there Phone they have after hours service responding to all there calls even during business hours. There management are not responding to my calls. But I must say the 2 movers that came to my house are great!!.
