I reviewed 3 moving companies and decided to choose IVL after my discussions with Alex dispatch- I shared with IVL I could only move on Friday, May 18. I received an e-mail late Thursday, May 17 from rude IVL office member stating move was changed to Sat., May 19. I was told I have no option. Movers finally called 10am Sat., May 19 they would be at my home in 15 minutes. I asked them to enter with garage code, I was picking up drinks for them. I arrived witnessing movers were loading single box truck. I was scheduled 2 trucks. Movers said no, this was a two day move with 1 truck. I said no I was told 1 day move with 2 trucks, 3 movers. What I received: a driver, young boy & gentleman, 1 box truck which had no lift. The paper work I was to sign had one truck listed with moving dates changed. I said this is false information. Driver insisted I had to pay cash. I stated I was to pay check or credit card- in thirds. The Driver immediately became hostile, and threaten to unload my furnishings to the yard; driver stated he should leave-per boss’s Sean (corporate) orders. I explained rural banks are closed past 11:30am. I was frightened. Driver called his boss Sean (corporate). Sean continued to be hostile threatening insisting I pay cash. Sean spoke to the driver on speaker-asked if the older helper could drive a second truck (which he stated he had parked at another location),he said NO! I call dispatch which I had originally planned my move with –Alex, and reported the frightening business practices. Alex called Sean (corporate) twice. Alex said it has been agreed I could pay by check as stated, and all moved on Saturday, May 19. Movers were missing for 12 hours (they reported went to truck stop to shower) returned with 1 different box truck which now had a lift. The move ended on Monday, May 21at 12:15am. I found a trash bag of beer cans in my garage, which was left for me to dispose. Noted furniture that was damaged: estimate $3,349.04. Customer service Jeremy shared they would not pay large dollars in damages. I have asked to speak with owner, Joshua Morales. They said the owner was aware-doesn’t speak to customers. They would pay $600,must sign no disclosure agreement. I’ve offered to split damages $3349.04. Dispute is $1674.50 to bring to resolution. Please be careful with whom you choose to move your belongings.

International Van Lines and their team did a great job overseeing my move to Ontario, CA. My move was fairly small, but it is all I have and I wanted to go with a reputable company. They were referred to me by a friend who also had a great experience with them. The fact that I didn't pay more than the estimate or have any noticeable damage was nice. I'm not big on leaving reviews, but I wanted to spend a minute and leave some positive feedback. My account rep was Justin who was amazing.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1850

Moving is very stressful and finding the right company is not an easy task. I spent day and night researching companies and came across these guys on a few 3rd party websites. My move consisted of a 4 bedroom home with packing. Although IVL was a bit pricey I chose them based on my gut. My rep Brian was great at explaining details and he wasn't pushy at all. Other movers would call me non stop and use pressure tactics to try and win my business. I've been in sales for 20 years and can't stand high-pressure salespeople. Well, my move went fine and I got everything with no damage and no added charges. I was very pleased with their service and would use them again if needed.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4250

From day one to the end everything went wrong . First after paying a down payment my correspondant  Paula left the company and it took me several calls to reach somebody else.We tried to set up  a pick up date  and it has been nothing  but confusion and the truck who got lost on his way to our house  arrived there three hours after the moving crew had left.The following day while loading the truck the movers broke a very valuable old marble  in spite of the fact that they had been warned of the extreme fragility of the piece .After being told to be more careful the movers went on strike for more than two hours.Finally they complet the loading and the truck left . In France the correspondent of IVL asked for more money (1,175 euros) demanding immediate payment or delivery will not take place . Unpleasant people  arrogant anf finally they arrived at the place of delivey at 4PM while the truck was there a 2PM.   They started tu unload on the sidewalk and left everything under the rain which started to fall.At 11PM  that is  9 hours after the schedule time of delivery I had to tell them to go home and to leave behind the door of the appartment what ever was left. At this time I don't know exactly what has been broken besides the marble which was reported broken to IVL and a table ancient of great value .The queen size bed  also was damaged and three  lamp shades The nightmare is over.

It was a fantastic service at a very competitive price. Arrived early in the morning and expertly packed everything and loaded all our stuff into the truck. Reached our destination before the agreed time and unloaded everything exactly where we wanted and also helped put together dismantled furniture. I would recommend International van lines to anyone. Service was friendly and amenable. The packing materials they provided were very protective and good quality, so we received everything unharmed. A complete and full service!

Do not use this company. This company was quick to respond with a quote for my move and that was where the customer service stopped. My salesman Ryan (he should be called Lie'n Ryan) would not give me a correct answer to when my items would be delivered. He promised delivery many times for many different days which were all lies. It turns out he couldn't deliver on any of those days because my stuff was still in Michigan while I waited in Florida. My wife was in Florida 3 days after our household items were picked up and Ryan said delivery would be 5-7 days after pickup. That never happened. My customer service rep was George. He never returned a phone call and was useless on my move. The guys who picked up and packed the truck were great, Simon and his partner took great care of all items during packing. The delivery guys led my Emberto were polite and also took great care of my stuff. Emberto contacted me when he was going to be an hour later that he projected. The pickup and delivery guys were the best part of the experience. Customer service would place me on indefinite hold and not call me back as they said they would. I was told by Emberto that my stuff sat in a warehouse in Michigan because he was told that I did not want delivery for over two weeks which could not be further from the truth. My wife flew to Florida to be there for delivery ASAP. My items weren't delivered for 9 days past when promised by Ryan. Two boxes were missing on delivery which seemed impossible because all my boxes had large yellow stickers on them with my name, address and phone number. One was a Karaoke machine in its original box unused.

Service cost: $9000

I hired International Van Lines to help me on my recent move. It wasn't a very far move, as I was relocating within the same city, however they were still very professional.

The three man time arrived on time and were friendly and presented themselves well.

I was impressed with the care they took in disassembling our bedroom furniture and reassembling at our new home.

Nothing was damaged.

I'd definitely recommend International Van Lines.

My parents were in search of a moving company and hired IVL for their move from Florida to Los Angeles. My parents are bit on the older side so I took it upon myself to research and lock in a company for them. I've never personally moved before so it was quite scary looking for a mover. There is an overwhelming amount of conflicting information on the internet about different moving companies. The main reason I chose IVL is because the sales person (Justin) was not a salesman, in fact he told me the brutal honest truth about moving and the possibilities of damage, delays etc. It was nice hearing the truth because most companies offered me guarantees, but had such bad reviews so it didn't add up.

IVL came in and packed all of their personal good and furniture. The movers were on time and very polite. The best part dealing with IVL is I did not pay any hidden charges or surprise fees, in fact my final invoice went down by $32.50 for bringing a tad bit less then expected. The crew that did the delivery was different from the pick up crew, but they were just as good. The whole move itself took about 12 days from pick up to delivery.

My parents have some minor scratches, but nothing worth filing a claim over. IVL offered us some compensation but we refused it because it was minor and really not a big deal. I'm relieved that I'm one of the lucky ones to find a good mover and I would highly recommend internation van lines.
