Chris Edward and Sophia what a pleasure to work with you thank you for always getting back to me and helping me through this process you answered all my questions and you walked me through the whole process and it was flawless. There were a few times I couldn't get a hold of anybody but Sophia always came through and got back to me no matter who I was trying to contact with some questions.

We hired hawaii moving pros because they cold called us since we were getting quotes for moving to Hawaii. They offered which seemed a reasonable price since they would be doing the moving. Nevermind the pricing but the professionalism that was shown was absolutely egregious. One of the movers got into a fight with my neighbor after hitting my neighbors balcony with the truck. If you crash into someone's property you don't go fighting with thar person. The professional thing would have been to apologize and offer to fix it. It turned into a screaming match where the police were called, and the movers decided to pack up and leave with part of my items. They refused to move us because they got into a fight with my neighbor, after the mover antagonized her. We had to scramble to come to a resolution and had to make many calls to get the move done. No one cared about us, the movers claimed they were scared for their safety but really they didn't want to finish the job. It was super stressful they put me in a bad situation with my apartments and my neighbor then had the audacity to take our stuff and leave with no receipt of it! And to top it off no one will return our phone calls to speak to us about the situation.

Outstanding communication with this moving company and its workers. The initial crew provided terrific help and service in wrapping and boxing the contents of a 3-bedroom house (TVs, furniture, tools, etc.). The delivery to California went without a hitch, with only one small item broken in the process (perhaps due to my poor packing). Extremely satisfied with HMP and will be using their services again as I have one more shipment to be made from Hawaii to California.

I chose Hawaii Moving Pros because they were the only company to keep in touch with me when I was researching and comparing prices. Mo was my agent, and he was very thorough when figuring out the volume of my move to give me a quote. Daniel kept in touch with me after that and made sure everything was going smoothly. If I had a concern, he addressed it right away. My belongings arrived ahead of schedule and in great shape. The crew that delivered them was very professional and friendly. I interviewed several companies and they all had about the same price. I went with the company that I felt would deliver the best communication and customer service during and after the move.

Moving back home to Oahu from Los Angeles was definitely stressful, especially thinking about all our stuff going back across the ocean. The whole prices was pretty smooth, and all our stuff got here within the month. I received timely updates throughout the whole process and could easily contact the company. I made time to connect with our movers by talking story, offering drinks, making food, and doing coffee runs. I don’t think people understand how hard these guys need to physically work all day. Please treat them well because they are doing all the stuff you don’t want to do. A+++ service from top to bottom.

The customer service people were great, but they could do nothing about the poor handling of my furniture in transit, which wasn't discovered until landing in Hawaii. They made me feel confident that all would go well so I did not buy insurance. Two 20+ year accent chairs were damaged, one un-repairable. They are not replaceable. Two pineapple lamps crushed on the top due to improper handling. The damage to the chairs indicates they were probably dropped as the foot was sheared off. Very disappointing. Not worth filing a claim for 60 cents/pound. I would not recommend this company.

I would highly recommend HMP to anyone. Chris and Daniel were helpful in guiding me through the stress of moving. I was especially impressed with the movers in San Jose. They were efficient, professional and protected my things from damage. A word of advice; If you are packing your own stuff, don’t overload. A few of my boxes were torn but my things were still in tact. Reinforcing the carrying holes may help. Every step of the move went smoothly except no one communicated that my stuff would be arriving until the movers called and told me that they were on the way. Despite this minor annoyance, overall, my experience with HMP was excellent.
