France Removals

Used France Removals last year to move to the UK from Paris, they were great. One item was a bit damaged, but they got it repaired.

So we decided to use them again for a move within London. They are efficient, professional, nice.

Also, Leo is always extremely responsive to emails.

To my slight surprise, it was nearly 100% the same Team as last year, which reassured me as well as their staff stays, so they must be fair with them.

Next time I move (hopefully in a few years now) => France removals again.

Amazing, amazing, amazing service! Leo and his crew were friendly, professional and extremely flexible. Nothing was a problem for them, and everything was done with a smile. We had a LOT of stuff to move in a very short space of time, and they executed it all seamlessly and within the time frame that we needed. We needed to move from a large house to two flats and they could not have done it with more ease. We needed to move from one day to the next and we were not clear about our moving date - but Leo was on standby and as soon as we informed him, he got his excellent guys in and started working early the very next morning. Would definitely use them again and would highly recommend!

We moved from London to Paris in January and after having spent a week looking for a removal company, we decided to choose France Removals as there were many positive reviews.
We are very satisfied with the service: a team of three arrived on the Friday morning and took less than two hours to load the truck and all our goods arrived on Saturday morning in Paris. The team was very friendly and efficient and everything went smoothly, none of our items were damaged.
Communication with Leo was good as well, both while organising the move and also on the day we received our boxes.
If we were to do it again, we would chose the same company and we would recommend them to friends and family.

I have used this company over the years for many items moved from the UK to Switzerland. I find them extremely reliable, very efficient and fairly priced. This Christmas Leo went above and beyond to get a large delivery to me in the nick of time and made it possible for us to have furniture for our first family Christmas in our new home (the reason for the rush was the delay in manufacturing the items, no fault of the removal company). This kind of extraordinary service means this is a company I have no hesitation in recommending to others.

France Removal did two movings for me; from Paris to London, and from London to Amsterdam. The communication was always clear and quick. The price is competitive. The crew (especially Nick and Adrian) communicate when they will arrive and are friendly and helpful. Also in case of issues (we needed to store unexpectedly all our goods for several weeks), Leo thinks of a solution and is flexible during the process. I would recommend France Removal for international moving. Next time, I again know where to find them!

Having to manage a really stressful time during the relocation period from London to Zurich, I was glad I found France removals company. From the time I requested a quote to the delivery date I had excellent communication and excellent experience of moving my personal belongings without stress. I was given suitable pick up and delivery dates, everything was on time as agreed, personal service - the driver helped to wrap fragile items and the driver called an hour before the delivery to confirm their were on the way. All items arrived and nil damages. Superb service, will use them again.

Moving country takes a lot of planning and Leo made everything easy from the enquiry and booking to the move it self. We had a lot of furniture and personnel effects and other companies made big issues about size of trucks transloading insurance etc . Leo took down the details and told us what we required and gave us the good solution including insurance and two Lorries  We found that they were able to offer the dates we required , acted professionally and delivered our personal effects without breakage and on time.   Thanks Leo and the guys that made our move so smooth. Seemless service! I was in Hawaii and needed to move a few boxes from Paris to London, coordinating with other people was included, I was worried because I had no control over anything, being so far away time difference. It turned out I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Leo and France Removals staff handled everything so well, so profesionally. Everything happened when they said it would, how it would. They speak Frenc which was so handy when handling my affairs in Paris, I really appreciated that too. Thank you Leo and the team for such brilliant work!

I was really pleased with the professionnalism of the removers and the disponibility of Leo the salesman. He answered very quickly all my emails, even when I sent them really early or late in the day, and even when I asked him some modifications 1 hour prior the removal! The removers were really nice and efficient. I picked this company on the net and I was first effrayed to send the first upfront payement, but I quickly recieved the invoices and payement reciepts. Everything was really well planned and secure. Thank you for your help, organizing a removal from one country to an other is quite intense, and stressing, but France Removals made it really nice and easy for me.

I used France Removals because of the good reviews here, but was a really unpleaseant experience. First, I had to call 6 times to confirm they received my payment, because they continued to send me the invoice note. Out of those calls, at least 3 times the person on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. The day of the removal I asked to be contacted ONE HOUR BEFORE the truck arrival, because I'm living far from the place where my stuff was stored. They called me 20 min before the truck arrived. Of course, I was late and when I arrived, the truck was not there. So, I had to call them again like 5 times to ask the driver to return, again, the person on the phone was rude, told me several times that he was going to call the driver and call me back, but that never happened (that's why I called several times) and was really informal with me (I'm sorry but I don't like that people that I don't know call me for my first name when I'm making a complain about they service).  1 hour and 35 min after, the driver came and took my stuff. I gave to the driver the address of the delivery (he did not have it) and specify that the delivery should be done during the next morning, because the person (my boyfriend) receiving the items had things to do, and only could be around the morning. I thought that everything was going to go nicely after that but I was wrong. At 13.30 of the next day, my boyfriend began to call the office number because the truck wasn't there. Nobody answered the phone at any time, so I sent an email asking about the situation, and 30 min after, they sent me an email saying that they didn't know about that situation, the driver was late and was not possible to make the delivery that day. They offered me to make the delivery the next day (Sunday) at 8-10 am.  Why could't they check with the driver, and call me before noon telling me this? I DONT KNOW, but apparently they don't care about their costumers time, and they don't really care about the petitions that we make.On Sunday morning the driver came at  10:30, late again and finally my things arrived home. But I'm really dissapointed with the service, because moving is stressful and France Removals made it more Stressful.

Despite having a largely positive interaction with Leo and France Removals before and during our move, unfortunately 3 items which left our old property never arrived at our new property.

The dialogue since has been overwhelmingly disappointing, with Leo and his team not taking any real responsibility for the missing items, to the point where after a number of calls and emails, I've had no further responses or even offer of compensation. It's been made clear that we must be mistaken and its our fault.

So my advice for anyone contemplating using France Removals is to make sure you have a clear inventory list of all items before and after the move which is agreed by those undertaking the removal.

From beginning to end, my dealings with France Removals and in particular Leo Popa and his team have been excellent.
At the planing stage in London, I was given all the information I needed to set up the move of some furniture, numerous books and some artefacts from Paris to London. I was able to agree a date of my choosing. I had extra requirements for transporting safely 60 bottles of old French wines. For a very reasonable price, Leo Popa provided me with polystyrene boxes just perfect for the transport.
On the day the driver and his team mate arrived early, they proceeded very professionally, carefully handling the furniture, boxes and wine. They assisted me in packing the wine which was a great help. Having started work before 8.00am, they were ready to go by lunch time. They could have reached our home in London the next day but at my request agreed to wait an extra day which suited us better.
My husband took delivery of the goods in London. Again the team was on time and efficiently delivered our goods. They further obliged by driving to two other addresses, admittedly not very far away but nevertheless, they did deliver one piece of furniture to one other address and two to yet another place, all on time as agreed.
My thanks go to Leo Popa, Alan and his co-worker for a job very well done, carried out efficiently in a relaxed atmosphere.

The company that moved me from London to Paris dropped the ball a year later when I needed to do the reverse and asked them for help again. I ended up better off with France Removals!

What stood out immediately was the responsiveness to emails and calls. They offered me a very competitive rate, full insurance and a number of convenient slots to choose from despite the short notice.

The team that picked my belongings in Paris was super efficient and helpful, and the same team delivered my stuff in London just two days later. Everything was in perfect condition!

Overall a hassle-free move and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We contacted Leo in desperation as we were running out of time to move our household effects from Berlin to the UK. Other firms we contacted would do their best but couldn't guarantee anything or needed extra cash to divert other loads. Leo was very helpful, had a part-load available in four days or would try to re-arrange another move later in the month. We chose the short term and packed up quickly. The van arrived pretty much when he said it would, no fuss loading, and our stuff was in the UK the following day and delivered a long way into the countryside the following day (round trip of about 5 hours). We have nothing but praise for Leo's operation and would recommend France Removals.

Going with France Removals was one of the best decisions I have made when moving from Amsterdam to London. I did a ton of research on different companies, but the positive reviews on this site made me go with FR. I corresponded with Craig, who was very kind, informative and helpful. The rates were very transparent; no hidden fees, as you find with some other movers. And lastly, our movers, Andre and his partner. What a lovely bunch. I was concerned about whether the movers would be there on time - but there was no need to worry, as they arrived an hour earlier than planned. They were both very nice and quick to load the van - and off they went. The next day, Craig gave me a call and asked if they could deliver our things a couple of hours earlier. Again, the movers were quick and effective. All in all, a very satisfactory experience. I will recommend FR to anyone who asks - and definitely use their services again when needed.
