I went with this moving company as a last resort because my other movers pulled a no show. Somehow I was able to call them the day of my move and get them to move me. They had a crew that was in my vicinity so it worked out nicely. The crew showed up to my home, plugged themselves in, and got to work straight away. There were no interruptions or issues during my move. Ez Moving Van lines brought everything they needed with them to make their life and mine easier. That's what a move is all about. I arrived in Oregon on schedule as well, which was shocking. These guys were a godsend. I was happy to pay them a little extra for the trouble! I'll be using them again if I need to relocate!

My move has not been completed as of yet but the pre-move process has been amazing. I've been speaking with Tommy McGarry of EZ Moving Van lines of West Palm beach. He has been wonderful and so helpful thru this process. I was very nervous and he walked me thru everything with kindness and patience. Giving me all his contact info so I can always be in touch with him if needed. Once my move is completed I will update this review but I have the utmost confidence that it will go off with out a hitch.

EZ Moving Van Lines recently reached out to me to follow up with my move after it was completed. I wanted to take a moment to share with everyone my experience with this company,

It started with the initial sales rep named bruce. He was so educated in the industry and gave me full preparation and disclosure of everything I needed to know and prepare for. We were working on the order for my move for about a month and he would always call to let me know when the rates were going up and down based off of the availability of the truck space. Needless to say I really appreciated this. He worked very hard to get me the best deal and bugged his manager every time we were on the phone for discounts. He was an amazing piece of my move so I wanted to thank you again, Bruce.

I was given a 2 day window for pick up with a preferred date of the 20th. They were able to work that our for me so that I didn’t have to miss a day of work. When the drivers arrived they were in clean uniform and very professional looking. The foreman walked through my home and wrote down each piece I was bringing and notated the condition of the items which I really appreciated as I was concerned with some of my things being damaged. After the walk through he said that he didn’t think I was going to take as much space as I reserved and that I would possibly owe nothing when my things were delivered.

The guys packed all of my stuff with care. They took their time, laid out their blankets and just did a phenomenal job. I was very impressed with the precision of the foreman. When they began to load the things on the truck they would set some pieces aside to fit in later in the attempt of saving me as much space as possible. They were working hard so I ordered them some pizza and asked them to take a break for a while. I spoke with the foreman while we all ate and I must say what a lovely young man he is. He was so respectful and intelligent I was shocked, and I felt safe moving with them.

After they loaded everything they went straight to the closest weight station ( they even offered for me to follow them) but not long after the foreman texted me a picture of the weight tickets which (he was right) left my balance at -59.60 which meant I WOULD GET MONEY BACK!!

The guys would call me every day to update their location on the truck and narrowed down my delivery as the days went on to the date and time. When they arrived I was so pleased to see the same crew that loaded my items at delivery. I ordered them some m ore food and they got straight to work. Unloading and unwrapping all of my furniture took a while, and I want to add that these guys never once complained ( I have a lot of stairs). They put together my bed, my couch, my tables, and anything else that they disassembled. I was unpacking the boxes while they were unloading and found 1 broken glass. I literally couldn’t be more impressed considering how far they traveled. They packed everything so so so well that all of my glass (besides the cup) came back in one piece.

I want to commend ez moving van lines for their amazing employees and impeccable work. I will always use you in the future (hopefully I don’t have to move again though) and I will always recommend you to anyone who is looking for a mover. As most other reviews have noted, do NOT waste your time and money with this company. They will give you a quote, and then hire a "local" company to do the move. Your final price will be much higher than the estimate. I ended up paying 3-4x my estimate. Not only that, the movers showed up AN ENTIRE DAY LATE for pick up. When they finally did show up, I was charged a completely absurd $875 "long carry" fee. I lived in a normal apartment complex. My entire 1-bedroom was completely packed, and just needed to be loaded into the truck. Somehow, this took 10 hours. The "foreman" left after about 1 hour, without paying the movers. At that point, the movers refused to continue working until they were paid. This resulted in over an hour of back-and-forth on the phone before anyone began working again.

After the nightmare of loading the truck, my belongings were delivered 10 days after my delivery estimate. I had to pay a "long carry" fee upon delivery as well, even though the delivery truck was literally parked directly in front of the house, on a small residential street. Total price gouging. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. Check their rating on Better Business Bureau: 1 star. That is being generous. I cannot warn you enough to stay away from this so called company. It is basically a scam.
