THESE GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS - They contract with others to do the moving and when things go south they continuously lie to you about how they are looking out for you. The people the contract with are despicable extortionists. They delivered a month late and took part of the shipment with them. After 4 months of consistent calling with Extraspace, their contractor Great American Van Lines and the actual person that took my stuff I have had enough.Twice they have extorted money with promises of delivery and today was the third time they tried. I will now seek to report this to all the authorities I can.DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

My contact was Dylan Perry , I wanted to move my one bedroom , tv room , game room , From Hot Springs Ar. to Franklin Tn , 447 miles . No appliances would be moved . They were to bring a trailer for one of my cars and add my storage unit . It was bad from the git go , They never told me they were brokers , I was told by Perry that the 286 cf and the list of 41 pieces was not all that important just a starting point . He assured me they had good people , when in fact there were none . The move went bad on March 22nd 2024 when they finally showed up . No moving van , a bumper pull trailer , no trailer for my car . All they were into was , yeah you got it , 286 cf and 41 pieces , everything else is extra . I would not sign any of their contracts , I had one with Perry . After they were loaded , a guy named Nick with Great American Moving , New Jersey, called . He wanted 6000.00 to deliver my stuff , I said no , it went to 5000 , 3000 , 2000 , finally to 1300.00 , I owed 869.00 . For 36 days , Extra Space Mover and their sub contractor has promised me 8 times to deliver . This is a great scam , I can't talk to Dylan Perry , who lied to me , Can't talk to the owner , only to customer service , and they help the sub drag it out . Finally the police are treating this as a theft , above 8000.00 . I never checked the BBB , it is some good reading . I was amazed at how many people paid thousands to get their stuff . My goal is to shut these people down , They need some jail time . I am not a single victim, they have done this to hundreds of victims . Bill Ferguson , Franklin , Tn

Do not and I repeat do not use this company. I originally spoke with Brandon and I spoke, letting him know that I had a 4-bedroom home and would be moving 2 living room sets and 4 beds with headboards and footboards. They gave me a quote and it has 57 boxes. I never once spoke on boxes.

The articles to be moved is all the way at the bottom of the quote. It will be missed. It is not at the top with the amount of space and lbs. You will not be able to get a refund after 24 hours. The will keep all of the your deposit even if they do not move anything.

Started a charge-back. No services rendered.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2800

After researching moving companies to transport our belongings across country, Nick, w/ Extra Space Moving called us. He said our info came across their board, & he wanted to offer us a quote. After asking a series of questions, we were quoted a very steep price. He said the price was due to our extra large furniture, massage chair, & our 1000lbs cement statue. We explained that we received better quotes elsewhere. He said that he would match the other offers we received.

After about a week of not hearing from us, he called, & texted us several times. (We have the texts, & phone records to prove it.) We told him that we chose a different moving company. He began to question who we chose, then told us everything bad about that company's track record. We told him that we still weren't Interested, but he continued to call, & kept offering us better prices. We asked if there were hidden charges, or fee's that would mysteriously arise, & he said no. After a few more calls made to us, we agreed to hire them. We read, & signed everything online, then paid the deposit. We then asked for copies of what we signed, & a receipt. He said the movers will bring it on moving day.

The day of the move, the movers (Lonnie Wilson, his wife, & another guy) walked our house, & said they need to charge for the extra large items, the statue, & the breaking down of the massage chair. We explained everything was paid in full, but Lonnie said they never receive anything from brokers, & that we are to pay after they walk our home, & give us a price.

Several thousand dollars later, & a large quantity of our things being left because everything didn't fit in the semi, we were SEVERLY taken advantage of.

Many of our things were broken, damaged, & missing. (I recorded the careless, unpacking of the semi truck where it shows some of our, & other peoples property being broken, & damaged.

We asked for a quote for a potential move, the sales rep said we could do a post date check with no risk. The day before the post date comes up and now we are told we cant cancel. In the contract, in a section both the representative and the quality person skipped over, is that after signing the contract you only have 24 hours to cancel(with a 15% fee), after that, you out of luck. Its not in their best interest to verbalize everything in their contract. Just be careful, and make sure you thoroughly read the contract .

The worst service ever (negative 5 rating if possible). Mr. Russo contacted me in May 2023 to schedule a move for June 24th-26th, 2023. I told Mr. Russo, I have alot of baby items (alot of boxes), other household boxes including TV, Keyboard, and kitchen stuffs. He said I shouldn't worry that that truck will pick it up. He decided not to include my baby items in the bill, so he enter 20 boxes only. Mr. Georgia called me a month later June 20th to charge me more money just to include only 6 items I discussed in the initial call. Many other items that needed to be carried still were not included even after the call with Mr. Georgia. I spoke to Jake at customer relation on June 21st, that is the worst customer relations conversation ever, he cutoff me severally, yelled at me, said my complaints were nonsense, threatened to send my file to a collection, and hanged the phone up on me when I requested service cancelation.

As soon as they arrived, they set to work packing up all of our stuff. They arrived to bag up my stuff even though I never actually completed the relocation. The movers from Extra Space Moving and Storage LLC showed up promptly and were very polite. The unloading was completed swiftly and efficiently, and the movers were really pleasant to work with. The staff here is really nice and helpful, and they really care about satisfying their clients. I would not hesitate to suggest the services of this firm to anyone.

Worst experience with any company ever. Initial sales person lied about the cost of a large trailer, then refused a refund when the trailer available was too small. Decided to do the move anyway and four guys were supposed to load the truck. One guy showed up alone and the truck was already half full of another customer’s items. Then he had the audacity to have an attitude with me about helping him load. I hired movers so I didn’t have to help. They sold me a move to Texas and Texas isn’t even listed on their states of operations, hopefully they are licensed in that state. 10/10 do not recommend, keep far away from this lowdown cheating lying company. Hard to believe they have good reviews, must be from their family members

So first of all these people are using the name of extra space to appear associated with the storage company. So don't get it confused ..... they are not. They gave me a price only to change it at the last minute when they know that your deposit is in jeopardy. I immediately called after signing when another company insured me that they were not established brokers. They use other companies and can't possibly give great deals because they are the middleman. The salesperson who wrote my information wrong so that I would have to change it purposely. I told her I had a queen bed and a full bed. She put queen mattress and full mattress on the contract. I didn't think much of it at the time. When they called me that Friday they said," Oh you have a headboard and footboard also, we need to and those items and add 1000.00 to the bill!

Trust me save yourself some headache and make sure you call a broker. These people thrive on snatching deposits. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the majority of their income!

On the day of the move, all five men showed up on time and got to work without a hitch. It was the hottest weekend on record, but I never saw them chill out. They were really careful with my belongings. (While seeing over a hundred dollars in tape and box costs is painful, it was well worth it when I saw how carefully everything was padded and realized that everything had arrived without damage.) I've never had the pleasure of working with such a skilled and efficient mover. Excellent work in every respect

I have moved 12 times over my career as a surgeon and this is the absolute WORST company I have every worked with. They are a broker, so will farm out your moving job to any moving company who will take the job. The people who picked up my stuff demanded $1000 extra dollars with NO explanation. My stuff was already fully packed in a storage unit and I had an accurate moving inventory. Once they pick up your belongings, You will have no idea where your stuff is and when you call customer service, you get no answers. I called again today and the agent actually hung up on me! I have no idea where my stuff is or when it is being delivered. This company is unprofessional and a total SCAM. Try to find an actual moving company who will move your stuff from start to finish and DO NOT USE A BROKER.

I was quoted (and the agent made this explicitly clear on the phone) a set price for a certain cubic footage of volume and $3.75 per additional cubic foot. Again, this was clearly stated to be the all in total price. Now, its a week before moving day and their saying it is $3.75 per cubic foot, but that doesn’t include a number of fees which make the actual total $5.78/cubic foot. Or in my case about an extra $2,000 dollars! When I called two different supervisors I learned it’s my fault that I believed their sales rep because the extra fees “go without saying”! I suppose next time I buy something for $5,800 it goes without saying I actually have to pay $7,800 for it.

I used Extra Space Moving & Storage to go from Flordia to Utah. The movers were extremely late and unprofessional. They contract out the work so when 3 of my items arrived damaged (to the point I have to throw them out) and I'm having to jump through hoops to even get the information to file a claim. My total moved costed about $3,000 - which they way under quoted me and then had me pay an additional $800 for the total. They don't let you file a claim with them - you have to file a claim with the people they contracted through. Such a messy process and they put it off to the people who delivered it and its a circle of people not wanting to pay for breaking my items. I called to understand the process and was met with a very sassy customer service rep that would talk over me and wouldn't let me ask my question. Every time I had a problem with the moving process - the customer service was unhelpful and unwilling to work with me.

This company is a rip off. I got my estimate ($2,985.00 for 1 bedroom apt)by phone. They subbed the move out to another mover and when he got there, about 18 hours after the original time set, the cost went to $5,010.00 because the items were bulkier than the original quote allowed for. Then, since the front door was further than 50' from the truck, there was another $250.00 long haul fee, and this was charged at both ends. I had to ask that they put the bed together and put the mirror back on the dresser. We had some damage that I'll play hell getting paid for that. Never again will I use these people. Also they would only accept cash or a money order, we were never told this so had a bunch of running to do before they would start.

I never leave reviews. Well this company quoted me a price. Then they asked for half up front. I said let me think about it. they lowered their price by $300. That was red flag #1 looking back on it. Then they would only e-check which was red flag #2. They said I would have to approve this payment with a link. That was never done. It was immediately removed from my account. They use this method because you have no recourse with the bank. Red flag #3. Time to move and nobody shows up day 1. Now it's 8pm the final day of their window and nobody showed. No phone call. Nothing. Then I had to leave all my furniture behind. I called while on the road and they said they called which they didn't. They also said they left a message. They couldn't prove that either. The lady hung up on me twice. So I had to buy new stuff when I got to Dallas and also out the $976 because I did an e-check which like I said earlier they do this because you have no recourse to dispute it. What a scam. Called bigger companies and they said never use a broker. I hope this helps someone else. These positive reviews have to be fake. What an awful experience. I just closed my account so this company doesn't try to steal more money from me.

The bottom UP. Camille the “supervisor” is a JOKE. She knows she represents an evil fraud company and laughs the whole way. MITCH is a CREEP. He took my personal address and harassed me after 9pm going to a sociopath level looking up a business 1 mile from my home AFTER I told him 10 times to stop contacting me and stop harassing me. They instilled fear in my entire family and Mitch used the company records to extort my personal information. The money they take is NOT for the actual movers. They steal thousands and then disappear. There is no proper way to speak to the owner. Camille with her ego compared their company to Walmart in terms of speaking to an owner. The movers that arrived said every single customer complains about how they got scammed. Please do not let this happen to you. Contact the big name movers yourself - DO NOT get lied to by evil brokers who said they were not. They manipulate you and access your bank account before EVER showing you the contract. They think they are slick. They are evil.
