I had a move scheduled, they call me morning day before, say if I didn’t let them come the day early at 7:00pm (midnight moving company perhaps)

That I could lose a spot on a truck all together!

So yes I got upset, yes I said w5 would get involved!

This was the best move that I have ever done.

The crew was nice, responsive, and very hard workers. They cared to ensure no damage was done to our possessions and when moving back to the house to ensure there was no damage to the house like the door..etc.

For a person who has had nightmare moves in the past, Essential Movers was the best and you should feel confident that they will get the job done on time and correct.

I highly recommend them as they provide all the details to the move up front with no hidden costs and are a ligament company you can trust.

Thanks again Essential Movers for your Professionalism and top quality. I will definitely use them in the future if I need to move again. Well worth the value.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1300

Horrible company. I think they hire their Packers from the local cesspool! It took 4 movers 11 hours to load a 53' truck but it was packed so inefficiently we had to leave 2 van loads of items items behind. They broke my piano, which I was charged extra for to move. It now sits in the garage, upside down because they broke the bottom. Jerry Lee Lewis couldn't play it now. They.broke 2 beds and several smaller items. Their insurance is garbage if you can even get an answer. Amy Bennett either puts you off just doesn't get back to you. I paid 22,000$ for them to move us!! $22,000 and 5 items were irreparable and not usable but I can't even get an insurance claim form from them.

Horrible horrible company. Do yourself a favour and use ANY other company. I wish we had.

We made a reservation with Victoria for our move on September 5th. We put down a small deposit of $200 to save the date. The day before our move Victoria emailed us with the timing. The movers showed up on time. They were prepared with blankets. Wrapped everything up quickly and packed up the truck. We had a motorcycle and they took extra care. We went for the same-day delivery option. It was a long day but it was worth it. We were moving with our elderly mom and it was imperative that she had her bed to sleep on that night. They came through for us. We didn’t have any issues with the billing/price. We paid in full and received our belongings in perfect condition. The guys were extra nice to my mom making sure that she was comfortable throughout. The little things matter as she was already stressed out. Thank you to Victoria, the movers and to Essential as a whole.

We are so happy that we used this moving company. No damages, no hidden fees, no delays and most importantly no headaches! I felt like they made this easy for us and let’s face it what is easy about moving? Amy convinced me that I would be very happy in the end and that girl was right. I should mention that she was excellent. I found her to be very informative. We went with this company because of her. Boy are we glad we did. Its always a fear that you chose the wrong company. We are thankful that we didn’t make that mistake. We are recommending them to everyone we know that’s moving.

On Oct 29th Essential Movers from Aylmer Ontario arrived to carry out my move from Pt Elgin to St Catharines.. I have conversed with Amy regarding the move and stated to her that my furniture was solid oak and made by the Amish and was quite heavy and had to be moved from a rec room. Movers arrived a 10:15 and checked over items to be moved They went back out to their truck and at 11;55 I had to go out and wake them up. They said they needed a short nap. Never heard of such a thing. They proceeded to move my belongings but could not move the couch. They obviously were not strong enough. Eventually they took it all apart At 3:30 they completed the move and informed me that they would be doing the drop off that night which meant that I had to leave and drive 4 hours to St Catharines. FYI I am 80 years of age. The arrived at 9:00 to unload. My couch was in pieces and several pieces of it were broken. They dumped it in the living room and left. I have tried on several occasions as has my son to reach someone at Essential without any luck what so ever. I now have a couch that is laying in pieces in my spare room and cannot reach anyone at Essential to discuss this matter. Amy was very accommodating and easy to work with prior to the move. Once there is a problem she becomes invisible

I would not recommend under any circumstances that you use this moving company. They are totally unreliable and do not follow up on their policy of dealing with any problems. If you value your belongings do not put them in their care.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $230972

I'm writing this review which I don't normally do to hopefully deter anyone looking to have their items moved by this company. First off, they were 10 days later than they said in picking our items up which on its own was the least of the problems to follow. They said we could expect delivery within 10-20 days it ended up being 41 days. They also said in writing there would be no truck transfers or warehousing which both took place mixing our load with others and repacking our items with little care taken and resulting in a lot of damaged to items apon arrival to a different truck and trailer. They also didn't tell us until later they require "THEIR MONEY UP FRONT BEFORE OPENING THE TRAILER" which had I known I wouldn't have agreed to especially after I got a bad feeling about these guys. We paid to have people to load and unload but at both locations we had to help as only 1 person showed up. Once the truck arrived and we seen first hand the damage we then also learned that items had gone missing apparently removed at either the warehouse or a drop point before they got to our house. I can't stress enough DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, very unprofessional with colored stickers placed on items to identify the owners by others instead of bar codes or otherwise. The only way this company is 5 star is because they have likely removed bad reviews. I paid 11,138.00 for a two home move. Finally the driver and load manager both apologized but both said others were responsible and no one has taken responsibility as of yet for all these blunders. I hope this helps you hire someone else. Best of luck.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, Moved from BC to Nova Scotia. 2 weeks later than promised. The company website claims the items are insured and tracked. Never could Amy tell me exactly where our things were. Items transfered at least twice and reloaded with no protection (blankets) between items. Damage to antiques, and several items missing. Also someone elses items were damaged and left in the truck and thought to be ours. Have not recieved a return call or email dispite many attempts since we paid in full on June 01, 2023. The company was dissolved as of March 25, 2023 and the sole director Burzak Ozgan was previously charged with fraud. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT go with this company. When I first booked I was given a reasonable quote and was assured over the phone that that was the quote. I also told Amy what my heaviest furniture was and she told me that my quote might be even less since I was also planning to downscale my furniture. I was also assured that they could provide wrapping to safely wrap my furniture.

I had to contact Amy multiple times up until my move in order to get a proper contract written up as it was constantly missing the pickup/delivery date and time. I had told Amy my fears as I’m a young single student and it’s the first time I’ve ever gotten movers. She assured me that everything would work out fine.

The day of the move the mover was late and when he arrived it was a young gentlemen who was not experienced (he was doing it as a side job) alongside a young female (she was also not a mover). The female was not able to help with any of the heavy furniture and the gentlemen also ended up scratching both my door and my furniture. I also had to help them move some of my furniture since I had a heavy pull out, that I had told Amy in advance about when I first booked. I also had a tv and bed that needed wrapping, but they came with no such thing. Thus my furniture was left bare with no security and I had to take items with me personally that I was scared would be damaged on the way.

The day before the move I was not contacted with the final invoice, nor the time of the delivery. I had to reach out to Amy over text to get the delivery information. And I was told between 3-4pm.

On the day of the delivery I was sent the final invoice and it was OVER DOUBLE of what I was quoted, I was also sent the quote at 6pm the day of delivery. The movers had also not shown up yet, despite it being hours after Amy had told me. The gentleman was also went to the completely wrong location, which was 50mins from where I’m located. When I tried to reason with Cassandra the accountant I was told there was nothing they could do and that I could wait to get my furniture Tuesday and figure it out with Amy then… my move in day was Saturday. They told me that they can’t change anything on the invoice and that I was to pay it or they weren’t going to deliver, even though they did not hold up their end of the contract.

So I repeat DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!! I think they are a SCAM and a FRAUD. I have no faith in moving companies anymore.
