Enterprise Moving

I moved from Toronto to Vancouver a week ago. They promised to be early and by a certain time on the day of my move because I had a flight to catch. They were three hours late which was extremely stressful for me. I have health issues and was packing everything by myself. They acted like being late was no big deal but also said they don’t recommend flying and moving on the same day but when I first told them about this they said it was no problem. When I called to talk about this just now my voice broke a bit and I was made fun of for “crying”. Also yelled at me and talked over me when I was trying to explain what happened. I don’t know about them but usually moving across the country is pretty stressful especially when you can’t see your stuff and have no idea if it’s ok or if anything will be missing. Lucas wasn’t even 100% sure if my stuff was actually in their storage in Richmond which is so unprofessional. I asked if some of my stuff could be moved to my new address and some of it to an art studio down the street 5 minutes away but he says it’s an extra charge just for driving 5 minutes apparently. I thought maybe they could offer to do that for free since they were so late but no of course they want to gouge as much money from me as possible. By the way your bill will be at least four times the amount they quote you. They will most likely be late on my moving day again. Also there is barely any communication between co-workers and the movers because no one seems to know what exactly is going on.

I reached out to this company to ask about a move but was unclear how they received my information given that I've been making a number of calls, but never heard of, nor did I reach out to Enterprise Moving.

When they confirmed they were with All Canada Movers, I thanked them for letting me know and that I wanted to be sure they're actually affiliated with a broker. The immediate response from someone (I think his name was Lucas) was "that's OK, thank you for your time. Good luck with your move" and then he abruptly hung up.

There are many sketchy movers out there, so BUYER BEWARE. Anyone not wanting to provide the most basic information like how they got your information, should not be trusted with your property.

Not recommended.

I believe Enterprise Moving is a scam company, attempting to rob customer's of their possessions. After waiting 8 weeks for my truck I had to threaten them with a lawsuit and contacting the authorities to receive my possessions.

I was moving between Manitoba and Ontario, they estimated the move would take 2-3 weeks. We were patient and waited 4 weeks before contacting them. Enterprise continued to transfer us to different staff members, hang up on us and refused to allow us to speak to a manager. They could never get a hold of the driver and had no idea where my possessions were.

Lucas Galatas (relocation specialist) is a real champion. Taking no responsibility for the move, I'm calling him out specifically because he's a complete tool and not helpful.

Finally after 8 weeks I sent a final email stating that I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario, would be contacting the Mississauga Police and the Better Business Bureau. Somehow the truck arrived that very day! They told me that they would make the deliver the following day.

That evening at 10 pm we got a call from a Toronto area phone number saying that we had to send an e-transfer before receiving the possessions because e-transfers take long. No they don't, unless you bank with PC.

So the truck arrived the following day. I had to pay before they would unload the truck and I received someone else's shelf along with my load. Enterprise wrote the number "9" on all my containers in permanent marker as well.

The truck driver told us they he would never work with the company again, that we should have received a discount and he couldn't believe how they handled our move.

Enterprise is a scam. I am in contact with CBC Marketplace, don't be surprised if you see this in the news.

Like so many other reviews, my shipment came later than committed and the customer service was terrible! It wasn't that it took too long, in fact, 1 week for a long distance move is actually quite reasonable. It's the fact that I was told one thing, and then when I called to inquire why it was delayed, I was yelled at, told I was a liar, hung up on, and lied to over and over. I was given new dates multiple times, and each time they didn't show up. I finally wrote an email asking for a confirmation that it would indeed be the next day, indicating that I didn't care if it was or not as I had an opportunity to go out to the lake until it arrived, so they could come whenever, as long as I had 3 hours notice to get back. They replied and said that it would for sure be the next day, so I didn't go to the lake and sat at home all day waiting. They finally called at 5:15 to say it wouldn't arrive with some excuse about there not being enough room in the truck...which made no sense at all. I will say that the movers and truck drivers on both ends were polite and professional, although moved a little slow, but really did work hard to fix the damage being done by those at head office. The salesperson I worked with was so helpful and polite while I was booking, and turn into a Jekyell and Hyde after he had made the sale. He was so incredibly rude and tried gaslighting me over and over. The most frustrating part about it was that, if they had just been upfront and polite about how long it would take, the cheaper price would have been worth the wait. A little bit of good customer service would have gone such a long way! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! While they did deliver our stuff relative unscathed and for cheaper than some of the bigger companies, their poor customer service just wasn't worth the stress they caused me.

Absolutely terrible(would give zero stars if I could) was told they would there on June 9th, and emailed for confirmation the day before - no response. June 9th came and they were a no show, called and got no answer and the voice messages were "full", tried emailing again and no answer. Called several times and always no answer with messages being "full". Had my daughter call from a different number and they picked up on the 2nd ring, interesting. After some back and forth they stated they had "mechanical" issues and the truck would be there 2 days later. I had no faith in their promise and their lack of responses so cancelled. Do yourself a favour and get a reputable mover, steer way clear of this company.
