Moving cross country was very scary. I was not sure what to expect but the girls in the office just made my family and I feel so comfortable and we're very please with the service we got from beginning to end. Daniel was amazing and gave us so many tips on how to save. The movers worked so hard and were very respectful. The great thing about east coast was on pick up day before any work was done Tony came in and reevaluated our inventory and let us know before we signed any paperwork that our price had went down by a couple hundred dollars. We were very pleased to hear that. Delivery was just as great. We had no damages and the guys did such an amazing job even having to shuttle our belongings to Manhattan. We would not have been able to make this move possible without the help from east coast moving and storage. From start to finish they were on top of our needs and completed the move with quality work and great customer service. We would recommend east coast moving and storage to any of our friends and family moving cross country. Thank you east coast employees for making our new journey in the big city an amazing start.

All the info that I am reading about this company is exactly right. This is a crooked company and dishonest. They raised the price at the time of pickup by $3000.00 for additional boxes. We came to other agreeable terms and they came back out and again raised the price by 3000$ again stating we added 20 more boxes to the inventory. We were not even in our home because we had already moved. We asked for the depsoit back and the owner told my husband to "F" off and hung up on him. We are being told that they wil not refund the deposit beause them came out. Everytime you call all they want to do is fight with you. They offer no resolutions and only ask for more money. After reading all the reviews I rather pack up my stuff and call it a day. The guys showed up all they did was complain about the company and how they do business. The forman offered to move us in a uhaul at a better price. This company is a complete joke. They do not own any trucks and the people moving up do not work for them either. You will always lose using this company

I move constantly due to work and I can personal say I will use these guys whenever possible. The service is great . There is no question that you can't get answered.
The staff is so professional. They really listen to you when it comes to how you want your items moved. They moved an heirloom that's has been in my family for years with such care it amazed me .
Also this company was only half the price of other companies.
I would definitely be calling east coast moving and storage next time I move.

I know right, how can moving be anything less than a nightmare? Thats why after receiving a great review from my coworker, my wife and I called the moving team of awesome professionals at East Coast Moving & Storage. My friend was totally correct.

Illinois to Scranton, PA in my mind was totally unmanageable. The experts at East Coast Moving & Storage helped make our HUGE life changing event/challange an enjoyable one!

Their crew was impeccable and handled moveing all our items with care even greater than our own. I can't say enough about them, the crew was both professional and personable, easy to direct and work witg. They know their stuff too! Their expert movers promptly addressed any possible concern well before I thought of it. Masters of the move!

We will for surly recommend them to family, friends, and others at my company facing the same relocation.

I wouldn't normally spend this much time reviewing a company but from beginning to end they saved us more than money and time. They saved us the worry and emotional stress moving a distance like this causes and to my family and I that alone was priceless

These guys are the best hands down!! They were complete professionals--they arrived on time, packed everything neatly so all my things arrived in on piece in the same condition as I had them before the move! They assured me the move would be seamless, but I was skeptical. Definitely proved me wrong. I could not have asked for a better moving company than East Coast Moving & Storage. Also, pricewise I would say this company gives you a bargain for how well their service is! I would definitely recommend them to friends.

I have never rated a business but MUST share the horrible experience and follow-up customer service we have received. East Coast Moving and Storage company has left me with no recourse at this point but to share my experience, which I informed Julian would occur if the refund wasn't received per contract signed and out last conversation one week ago. I wouldn't wish the same experience to any other family looking for reliable movers.   My Experience: East Coast broke the contracted pickup time (by 9hrs) and delivery date (from Sat to Mon), less than 2hrs prior to the contracted allowed cancellation date/time. My son was starting a new job on the following Mon and to change move delivery date at the last minute was not an option for him nor family members helping him to settle over the weekend. We canceled East Coast and scurried to luckily find a UHaul truck and movers the evening before at the last minute. STRESSFUL!! We did and hired 3 men in Atl and 3 men in Little Rock and drove the Big UHaul ourselves, through flooding rain. It worked out because we saved a good bit of money, even over the good contracted rate (multi-family move delivery) we were given by East Coast. It sounded good because we were told we were "the last pick-up and first delivery", but I hope other customers don't fall for this line who are considering they're getting a good deal.  The good rate wasn't worth the hassle and risk we were put through! The drive of a big UHaul was dangerous for individuals inexperienced, under inclement weather conditions, and poor customer service to only not received the contracted reimbursement of deposit made 3 months ago. It took over 1 mo before East Coast supposedly cut (they said) the refund check, and now another 1- 1/2 mo has elapsed and the check has still not been received. The last phone conversation 7-days ago was with customer service (Julian), who said they had canceled the 1st check and was re-issuing a 2nd check in two days.  I told them I would allow a 5 day delivery time, from the day the check was to be cut and Julian agreed this would be adequate. I told him I didn't want to have to escalate my complaint and take further measures.  Guess what? Still no check and no department will answer my phone call to the office today (Weds).  I called for over 2 hrs (1-3pm EST), to (855) 844-6194 numerous times to only receive a recording. We've been told on 4 separate occasions the refund check has been mailed. STILL NO CHECK and what has become apparent as a big run around. I talked with Derek and Julian since the contract was canceled. Daniel is the salesman who scheduled and sold us the contract. I think Dispatch service (Michael) is where everything went BAD initially with postponing the delivery. Don't get me wrong, phone conversations have overall been polite and appear to be good business practice, but only to find no follow through on intentions. My advice to potential customers would be to KEEP LOOKING for another company and don't get caught in a bad experience. How an A+ BBB rating can be placed on your e-mail correspondence is beyond my understanding.  The East Coast Moving and Storage company I used out of Hallandale, FL has been anything but A+ rating.  I have given enough opportunities for the company to honor the signed terms of agreement and will continue to give bad review ratings based on the customer service I received.   It's a matter of good business practice and treating your customers right.  Highly Discouraged Customer who desires deposit reimbursed!

It started with the initial phone call: They were easy to understand, making sure to explain the process, charges I should expect (Which was 2000$ not a bad price!), and expected time-line for the move.  I felt I needed to call around, and out of the handful of moving companies, East Coast Moving and Storage stood above the rest as being the most informative over the phone.  When I was ready I called back and spoke to one of there reps.  She didn't get off of the phone until she confirmed that both people + trucks would be available. They arrived on time, and ready to go.  They did a quick inspection of everything we'd be moving, and were both very personable and professional.  Whenever they were unsure of something they would ask me, and I couldn't believe the hustle of these guys, even on a hotter day like that. They explained all of the paperwork, and the expected time to arrive at my new location.  They got there in great time, and were immediately able to get started since we had the parking spots reserved.They helped assemble some of my furniture to make sure it would all fit. East Coast Moving and Storage were super helpful! I would definitely use them again, and I've already recommended them to my friends.
