BEWARE...We placed a 3k nonrefundable deposit with this company. 2 weeks outside of our move we asked to push our dates back because of an issue with the sale of our home, we were told no issue! Eagle Movers cancelled our move, didnt tell us the price would change and when we called to update our dates, they informed us that now the move would cost an additional $2,400 and we would need to place that amount deposit down (in addition to our already 3k deposit) just to get our move reinstated. Our new move would now cost close to 8/9k..

This all happened within a two-week period. They did not notify us when we had asked to make this change. Now we are suck with either losing our initial 3k deposit or having to pay an additional $2,400 to move forward with the move. To top it off, customer service and some of the supervisors we spoke to were absolutely horrible - giving us lines like "sorry we didnt communicate this with you but that's what it is" or "the person you were dealing with is no longer with the company" or "that person that told you this has only been here 2 weeks". I would honestly avoid this company at all costs. Customer service was atrocious. Several times we were told that we would be called back, and they never did...

Wish I would have looked up their BBB rating before moving forward with them in the first place.

We have decided to get our attorney involved and are going a different direction with our move. I refuse to give this "company" another cent...

STAY AWAY!!!!! I wish I could give no stars to leave a review. This company is not a moving company they are a broker. Your deposit is for them to get paid... once movers come you pay another price… to start off the day that was scheduled NO ONE showed up!!! Called dispatch for 3 hours they looked to find a company & stated they don’t have any drivers! They charge for oversized boxes, they don’t provide boxes, they charge if you have to use the elevator, they do not take TVs unboxed and more other fees they will find to include. They gave my grandmother a date that her belongings would be delivered to the address giving with in 7 days!!!! It is now 2 weeks later my grandmother still don’t have her stuff!!!! Called company several times to question where her stuff is they continue to say they don’t have a driver & her stuff should be to her in 4 days!!!! I told my grandmother that she needs to call her renters insurance & also file a police report that with no promise delivery her stuff is stolen!!! My grandma found out about this company from her leasing office & honestly for them to refer the elderly to go with this scamming ass company makes me believe they may get something on commission for the booking too!!! DONT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED! ZERO STARS ‼️‼️

This is a long review, so if you want the gist... When you call around, companies will say to be careful. Moving companies will promise the world and under deliver - This company does EXACTLY THAT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, DO NOT USE THEM ITS NOT WORTH IT.

On October 9, 2023 we got in contact with Eagle Moving to facilitate our move from California to Texas. We spoke with Nick G, he consulted with us on what our needs were, what was moving in our house, the distance of the move, etc. We spoke with other moving companies and found out that for a move this large, most companies will fill a moving truck then unload, reload and then transport to the final destination.

Lie #1 - He assured us that Eagle Moving does not do that and our shipment would go straight to Texas. - When the movers showed up on January 10, 2024, they told us the truck would arrive in Las Vegas, they would unload and reload into a new truck.

Lie #2 - He told us we would be getting 6 movers the initial day and atleast 5-6 arrival day. The day they showed up we had 3 movers. The delivery day we only had 2 delivery drivers.

Lie #3 - He told us we could leave light items in the dressers. The movers told us to take EVERYTHING out of the drawers, this isnt a big deal. However, the movers took apart some of our furniture and we are still missing shelves, our bed frame was damaged.

Lie #4 - Nov 20, we told him we would be taking solar panels & batteries and asked if this would be an issue, he said no problem - We were charged an additional $1,000 for him saying it would be no issue and no problem.

Lie #5 - During the consultation and over the entire 3 months we discussed with Nick how we had wine that needed to be moved. He NEVER told us that THE MOVERS DONT MOVE LIQUIDS... We told him how many cases of wine would be moved and how many wine fridges. This became a major issue on our LAST DAY in the house.

Our items arrived damaged, some items missing, we received extra charges even though we discussed everything with Nick PRIOR. 2 business days prior to our move Nick VANISHED. No responses. He promised during our move he would be our contact and readily available. When I called the company to complain and get help, I was assisted by Jaime &Caelum.

Caelum was EXTREMELY condescending. We had movers at our house and it was our last day in the house and as I was explaining everything and asking for someone to call us back for assistance, he condescendingly said "we appreciate all feedback and I'll make sure to pass this message along". His tone alone suggested that he didn't care and it wasn't his problem. We were told multiple times that we would get a call back and NEVER received a call.

This company got our stuff moved but are the definition of promising the world and delivering our stuff damaged & making sure to get extra money out of you.

A move half way across the country is hard enough, its sad that a company like this couldn't possibly care any less about their customers.

Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with any company I've ever interacted with. Ever.

PLEASE never ever use this company. Liars, scammers, and thieves.

Everyone is so nice until they have your money. Then everything changes. They delivered on zero of the promises they made. They used other shipping carriers that were not on the list of carriers they provided me (meaning I never got the chance to make sure I was ok with the actual companies that were moving my things). The delivery date they promised me over and over was weeks off from when my stuff was delivered (it was delivered weeks late and in the middle of the night). I was charged THOUSANDS of dollars more than the agreed upon price at rates I never agreed to. They literally showed up with a totally different contract than what I originally signed, and said I had to sign it or they would take my deposit of thousands of dollars and leave, so I was stuck. Several items were damaged (including the most expensive piece of furniture I own) and at least one box was missing. Every single person I talked to lied to me. Zero stars. I'm literally traumatized from this whole experience. I'm only writing this in hopes it saves someone from going through what we went through. Beyond disappointing. I seriously considered taking legal action against them, but I would have to do so in the state of Florida, according to their contract, and that's just not feasible for me.

These folks just moved me from Sherman TX to Edmond OK. What a disaster! Eagle Moving contracted S & DJ Moving. Eagle moving grossly underestimated how much stuff we had. S & DJ brought a 26 foot truck and two movers. A simple one day move turned into a one week example of why we should have hired one of the big boys. They showed up after noon on the second day. Took that afternoon and the following morning to pack the truck. They were in contact with their boss regarding the stuff not packed. Based on pictures taken by the driver, said boss hit me with a $3700 invoice for a second trip. Trip to start in 3 to 4 days. Driver left around noon.

Got a call from the driver Thursday evening. Seems the truck was stuck in a weigh station in need of safety repairs.

Long story short, the second load arrived. Half of our excess was still in Sherman TX. The movers could not throw our stuff off the truck and get away fast enough. We rented a 9 foot cargo van from U-haul and finished the job ourselves. Total cost about $12,000. I have not checked but I think that is more than what United would have charged.

Eagle failed to respond when I shared the basics of the story above.

We will never use nor will refer any clients to this company. please be aware cant tell you to read contract because certain details are not listed. pick up was an hour late, price changed at pick up with us taking off an entire bedroom, washer, dryer, refrigerator , and a few yard items. we moved only 2 bedrooms we should have moved items ourselves. we are now waiting for our items to get here, and was told it maybe another week. please be aware this was a awful moving experience!!! If i could have rated a negative star i would have......
