Peter, Gaga & team were excellent and I cannot recommend them enough. I was very stressed about moving in Manhattan as my job is extremely busy. Peter was extremely responsive and answered all my questions via phone call or email within the hour each time. The movers arrived on time and I didn't have to lift a finger. They were extremely professional and took great care of all my items to ensure nothing was damaged. The movers arrived at 8am on the dot, and I was literally in my office sitting at my desk at 10:04am. I have already recommended to all my friends and coworkers. If I were to move again, I have no hesitation to use Dumbo Moving again 1000000%.

Additionally, the entire team is extremely professional & I felt the price was more than fair for the service they provided. I've had moving companies before charge additional for X, Y, Z but Dumbo Moving offered me two complimentary wardrobe boxes and carefully wrapped up my items. I had a few plants I forgot to let them know I had and the team even carefully placed them in a box for me securely tucked away. They've treated my items as if it were their own. I am thoroughly impressed.

I hired them for an important move on my sister’s recommendation, and she insisted I trust nobody but Dumbo Moving and Storage for the move. This move was important not because of the size of the move but because of all the precious stuff it contained and the time management of the move, but also it was happening when we had a cancer patient with us who according to the doctor was not going to live many days and I wanted to make the most out of the time left. This was the reason I needed someone who could take complete responsibility for my move and be gentle with my possessions. I must say I was not expecting it but Dumbo Moving and Storage did an unbelievable task. I was able to trust them and stay at peace about the move. They were very good to talk and talking to our family members as if they know us for a very long time. Thank you tons.

These movers are the most reliable yet affordable ones in town, they do not just help us in moving all swiftly but also take care of our belongings as their own. They did the packing from their heart, and we loved that. We were looking at them working and their dedication, efficiency, and hard work made us amazed to the next level. Cannot put my feeling in words when I saw my house all packed in just a short span of time and not just it but also the unloading at the destination and their way of going above and beyond in setting me up in the new place. My heart was so full at that time seeing that nothing was left behind for me to do and they did everything on their own. I highly recommend Dumbo Moving and Storage for all your future moves.

Joel Granatstein has helped me with several complicated moves. I am disabled and need extra accommodation to help pack and move important family heirlooms and artwork and furniture in multiple locations. Joel meticulously priced all options and called to check in every step of the way, before, during and after each move. The service was so high above and beyond my expectations I cannot imagine ever moving with anyone else! Special shout out to Paata, Temo and David, my dream packer-mover team!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $1200

Wonderful company! I chose them because the quote was almost 200$ less than another company. Ray was supportive on the logistical end, helping set everything up and get the time frames I needed. I also appreciated that I was able to update my inventory up till the day of the move! Truly wonderful customer service.

Movers were strong, kind and diligent. They moved my items carefully and with respect. They intentionally disassembled and assembled furniture and even helped me reach high up things I couldn’t, such as some wall art and items on the top shelves of the cabinets. I definitely recommend renting the bins, they drop them off in your apt for free and pick them up after you unpack—this made the process way more manageable and the whole move process quicker!

If you’re on a budget this is a great company to hire— I understand it’s always a gamble with who you get day of — but these guys were really awesome!

This is my second time using Dumbo Moving & Storage, Inc. located in Brooklyn and they did an excellent move for us, once again. Both moves were complicated, however, Dumbo Moving & Storage were understanding of our needs with moving our father's possessions after he passed away.

We were quoted a fare price, communication via emails and phone calls with the head office were easy, and the payment process was simple. Plus, each time the movers were careful, courteous, respectful, and efficient. I highly recommend Dumbo Moving & Storage.

Moving can be a total nightmare, but Kris made sure that wasn’t the case for me. He was my moving contract coordinator and really took the time to understand my needs. The estimate he gave was spot on, with no hidden fees or surprises. Paula, who handled the dispatch, was incredible at keeping everything organized. She coordinated with the movers perfectly, and they arrived exactly on time. The movers were careful with all my belongings, and Kris checked in several times during the move to make sure everything was going smoothly. I felt like I was in good hands from start to finish.

The entire process was stress-free, thanks to Kris and Paula.
