1bedroom apt move.

This move was excellent. The team of 3 were polite, professional, and knew how to pack a truck, move awkward pieces of furniture safely, and efficiently. They worked hard and I would use this company again. It was an excellent move and absolutely no problems at all. They walked the rooms with me discussing which furniture pieces and boxes were to be moved. They assisted me by providing a wardrobe which I decided upon at the last minute. They also had a china box for the items I had not packed that were on the kitchen counter. They dismantled the leaves and legs from a large dining table and reattached the legs at the delivery site.  Thanks DMV for an outstanding experience.

Thieves.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for the following reasons:   1.They misrepresent themselves. I was told that they workers were bonded. This is not true-When I asked for their credentials they could not provide it and  only two spoke english. It was clear that their workers are Day Workers from the street corner. 2. They provide low quotes and when they arrive to do the work they bring extra workers and increase the price per hour to force you to pay more money and when you refuse. They take their time to get the money anyway. 3. The workers took a 1 hour break during the job and when I called the manager and sent pictures of the workers on break, he said that he needed to talk to the foreman and verify my story. I have not heard from the manager since my call and he refuses to answer my calls or text messages. HE IS A POOR MANAGER AND A SHADY BUSINESSMAN.. it is my opinion that this company is made up of Con-men and they are out to scam good people out of their money. .

Moving was never easier.

Manuel, Nelson and Neto were fabulous. They arrived on time, went straight to work and did the job in the amount of time quoted. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for professional service at an affordable price.
Details of my move:
From: 600 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment
To: three level town home
I moved from Arlington to LakeRidge.  I scheduled the move around traffic, which they were more than accomodating of.  Benjamin, the salesman, was accurate in his estimate.  The moving crew came with all they would need to facilitate the move.
 
Disclosure: I had 99% of my belongings packed before the movers came.  This greatly reduces time and associated costs.  I cannot review for their packing services, which I did not use.

DMV Movers.

Overall moving crew was reliable and worked hard. Move cost more than I expected. Did not exceed original quote but the quote was for a move to another jurisdiction. The new move was to a place one block away. Bought the crew lunch but I think they charged me for their lunchtime. Overall experience was, however, good. The crew was honest, effective and handled my items carefully and packed efficiently. .

Excellent job.

We had a lot of heavy furniture to move and they did an amazing job. They were fast, very organized in how everything was loaded, and showed a lot of care with our things. They also worked extremely hard for almost 9 hours. It was a local move and a lot of heavy furniture that they were able to disassemble and reassemble very well. I was very impressed with their work and happy to recommend them!

Friendly, Courteous and Efficient.

The movers were prompt, courteous and helpful.  Stayed on track and and always checking with me to see if I needed any help or where to put things. A final walk through was completed to ensure everything was to my satisfaction.  The only thing damaged was one tier to a cat tree, probably due to carrying it improperly.  Other than that, they took great care in breaking everything down and putting it back together.

Great move!

This was the second time I've used DMV to move me, and for a very good reason. They always show up early, they work very fast and careful. The staff is really pleasant and professional. they are not afraid to give you rebates or credit for being a repeat customer, and they remember you and your move. The value for service is more than excellent its amazing. if I move again I will hope they are still around to take me there.

Moved me twice.

I use DMV twice in one year. First out of Baltimore and from one unit to another within same building. Nothing ever broken or lost. My last move was so good and we were finished within the 3 hours that they helped me set up in my new unit. The guys are always nice and they were very organized. In the first move had a problem but all I had to do was report it. Andrew was sooo helpful, Oscar is very nice. So would I recommend this company. .. yes very much.

Great service at unbeatable price!

DMV Moving and Storage Inc. moved my household from Odenton to Crofton in less than four hours without any issues.  DMV sent three movers who were equally focused-driven, customer friendly, efficient and all about business and didn't waist any time playing around.  For the quality service, the price was great. I will utilize DMV again and highly recommend.   .
