Diamond Relocation

We recently used Diamond Relocation for our retail store move. The experience was excellent from start to finish. We moved many heavy pieces of high end custom cabinetry, store furnishings and all our inventory. They were scheduled to send 4 men and one large truck, 2 trucks showed up with 5 men. They started early, finished by mid afternoon and the final price was just slightly higher than original estimate. Everything arrived in its new location in perfect condition and the movers placed everything as directed. I recommend them highly and would definitely use them again.

This has been a most disappointing and frustrating experience with this mover. When booking time came, they were really nice. But later on, our move became a major headache. First of all, they came 1 day ahead of their scheduled pick up day. We accomodated them and allowed them to pickup our stuff. When asked what is our estimated cost will be like, they said they will weigh the truck on the highway and let us know in 2 days. After calling and enquiring a couple of times, they let us know after weeks, that it was going to be $7000. Okay this was way out of our budget, but nevertheless, we accomodated. Then when time came to drop off the stuff, even before we got our stuff back, they expected full payment!!

After we got back our belongings, we realized within a day after unpacking that some major items like computer monitor, personal items etc. like 2-3 boxes were missing. After filing a claim, they said it will take 6-8 weeks. After that time period, they said we do not qualify because the weight of our items are less than the $350 deductible.

All in all, they got away with losing our stuff based on some policy they have. Please don't use this company. They don't follow through on their word. Buyer beware!!!

Diamond Relocation did a fantastic job with our move. They were on time, thorough, very careful with all our possessions and really knew how to load a truck! The 4 men loading on the front end of the move were quick, organized and courteous. The three workers on the unload were also quick and very careful when placing items where we wanted them. They had blankets, door guards, and all the necessary tools to make sure our brand new hardwood floors were not damaged. None of our possessions were damaged in the move. Their prices were very reasonable and they did not hesitate to do any extras we asked for. I highly recommend them for a local or long distance move.

We spoke with Mark who said he was the Sales Manager given a price to move our things and storage fees, we were to pay on delivery, I could set my own date, movers came and refused to take our $2500 bed as it had a stain, refused half of our things, We had to at the last minute rent a 2 ND storage unit to put the rest of our things in. Today I called when they just showed up with our things that we didn't ask for yet, and was told by Supervisor Steve...that I am a Liar, asked if I am Slow, that maybe if I did my research I would have known what to expect, I was asked if I have a hearing problem, asked if I am Retarded. Told Mark is not a Manager yet all emails from Mark clearly state that he is the Sales Manager,, they demanded money today before they would even rebook the delivery. So we are out $2500 for a bed, $1500 in moving fees, and 2 months of storage fees because of this Incompetent Company. Spend the extra money it is worth paying a more reliable company.

Hired Diamond Relocation to move out of a storage unit into an apartment. They had availability as soon as I needed it & communication throughout the entire process was easy. They handled my belongings with care & used blankets and plastic wrap to protect my bedroom furniture for transport which was greatly appreciated. The moving process took about 2 hours from start to finish. They will be the first call I make when moving services are needed again in the future.
