Usually, it is tough to find a company that offers cross country moves for a reasonable price; so I was very excited and surprised when I ran across the Cross Country Moving Group and they offered me exactly what I needed. My move was fairly last minute, and I was not at all prepared, but the staff at Cross County Moving Group provided the best customer service and moved my entire life from Florida to Texas within the agreed time frame and with everything in perfect condition. With moving being such a stressful time, especially moving to another state, the service received at Cross Country Moving Group was more than superb.

Cross Country Moving Group was really good at moving my stuff from my parents’ house in Florida to my new place in Alabama. I really liked how they put my stuff from the boxes into the truck without breaking any of the china, furniture, and other breakables. They were really good at getting to my new address with all my stuff in record time as well. I paid for the service itself around $2,500 and it was definitely worth every penny of what I paid compared to the other moving companies as well. The movers were all very friendly and helped me out every step of the way through the moving process. I would definitely recommend them for people moving out from or to Florida for the best quality moving service.

I’m grateful for Cross Country Moving. They helped me and my family get moved from Rochester, Montana to Corvallis Oregon easy peasy for my girlfriend and I. We were working at inconvenient times with our move dates but they accommodated our needs. They made the experience great for us by taking a lot of the stress out of our move and saving us the drive. I have a lot of new and antique furniture that they got here carefully and quickly. Cross Country Moving was exactly what I wanted from a moving service and I will most definitely be using them for any moves I make in the future.

I was excited and happy when I landed a new job in California, but the thought of moving stressed me considering all the stuff in my house. I had to move from Montana to start my dream job. Luckily a friend told me about Cross Country Moving Group. This company did an excellent job as they took care of all my household items making sure nothing was damaged during the process. I also congratulate them for making sure I arrived on time to report for my new job. Their price was fair considering the long distance I moved. If you are planning to move, consider this company for a stress-free experience.

I would definitely recommend Cross Country to handle the stress of the moving process. We usually move ourselves but with the amount of stuff we have it was pretty impossible. It takes a lot of trust to have all of your belongings moved on such a long trip, but they didn't disappoint. The guys arrived 10 minutes early, and they were so polite. They even taped boxes that we just finished packing without us even asking.. even something as little as that was such a help. Excellent communication throughout the entire process, and our stuff was unloaded without any damage. Pricing wise, it was fair. It was a pretty long drive, so factoring in gas and everything, it made sense. All in all, the guys were great and I would recommend this company for sure. Thank you!!

I would highly recommend Cross Country Moving Group to anybody looking to move. I used them to move from Pennsylvania to Florida and was pleasantly surprised at how quick and smooth the move went! I never imagined myself being comfortable and trusting with a moving company transporting my belongings and memories such a long distance, but Cross Country Moving Group made me feel so comfortable and stress-free with the move. As far as pricing goes, I felt it was fair, and they exceeded my expectations in all aspects of the move. Cross Country arrived at my new home earlier than I had expected, treated all my belongings with care, and were incredibly professional and polite. I could not have asked for a better move! I don't usually write reviews, but these guys definitely deserve it! Not only were they extremely professional throughout the entire process courteous, on time and friendly, But They were also helpful they somehow managed to make an awful situation a little better. Even before the day of the move, the communication was excellent. When I had questions, the response was prompt and courteous. The movers were very careful with our house and belongings. Excellent work! Top notch company to work with during your move. I would definitely use them again.

I wish I had taken more time to read reviews before I agreed to contract with this company. They are a brokerage that has no control over or interest in managing its downstream service suppliers. My experience was similar to others..low quote, increased price 30% to take furniture claiming the sales person underestimated space I would need..called multiple times after no communication for two weeks and Cross Country could not locate furniture for several days..received call two hours before they planned to arrive not 24 hours as promised..attempted to charge more if I could not meet them at time they designated and when I managed to do that then required me to pay additional fees because the very large truck they brought (my furniture occupied maybe 1/8 of it) could not get within 50 feet of my home. Many pieces of furniture were damaged including holes in sofa, broken cabinet, a broken lamp, etc. I don't expect to get any resolution on the damage given the incredibly poor experience to date and the fact that the handoffs from company to company were so extensive. This is a disreputable company that should be investigated and put out of business by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

I moved from Florida to Pennsylvania and was dreading it. Because of starting a new job, I didn't have time to load a truck and drive it across the country. I got in touch with Cross Country Moving Group and they set me up with a team that was professional and took pride in their work and their customer's property. At first, I was a little worried about some fragile items, but they assured that everything would be wrapped and secured. When they delivered, they were guaranteed to be in the same condition as when they left. They were helpful and courteous and had great customer service. I would recommend them.

Throughout my life I have had to move entirely too often. It’s never a fun process. I actually despise it, but what else can you do when life calls? My last big move, probably my biggest move yet was this last one. I thought it was going to have me pulling my hair out before I could even get there. I’ve moved countless times, but I’d never actually moved out of state until then. Luckily I found the Cross Country Moving Group and was blown away. Not only is the staff incredibly helpful and kind, but to my surprise my very first out of state move was a breeze.

Cross Country did a great job for my move from New Jersey to Atlanta, Georgia. As a recent graduate, moving to a new state for a job is a different experience. I was recommended to use them from a family friend who moved from New Jersey to Ohio a couple of months back. My initial estimate of $2000 was accurate and no “hidden fees” came up by the end of the move. The movers were on time and professional on the day of the move. All items arrived in one piece and no damage was found. Customer service was okay but overall I was satisfied with the move and would recommend them.

I cannot thank the folks at Cross Country Movers enough for the terrific support that they provided for my move from Wells Maine to Milton Delaware (not a very popular run I'm sure). My furniture (including an antique piano) arrived in perfect condition and it was handled very delicately when brought into my house. Thank you to Matt, Liz and Heidi in the office and Chris and his partner in the moving truck for the phenomenal (and totally stress-free) job that they did!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2197

This is a BROOKERAGE company. They will NOT move your items, they sell your move to another poorly rated company who will then increase your moving costs. Think all the recent positive reviews are bit odd? Please research the DOT# of the company before you decide to use them (should match the name, be authorized for and moving of personal goods), make sure they can come to your home and give you an accurate quote. Bottom of their website at least claims this time, "Please note that Cross Country Moving Group is a properly licensed interstate broker, and is not a carrier and will not transport an individual shipper’s household goods, but will coordinate and arrange for the transportation of household goods by another FMCSA authorized motor carrier." They don't let you know WHAT COMPANY is going to move your goods, you're in for some real surprises.

I recently moved to South Florida from Pennsylvania with the help of Cross Country Moving Group. Eric was polite & very thorough when going through my inventory so as to avoid any extra fees at the time of the move. He consistently made sure I was satisfied throughout the process. I was pleasantly surprised that the movers were polite & helped set up again upon arrival at my new location.
Moving can be stressful, but they made it as painless as possible.

I called Cross Country Moving when I needed a mover from Texas to Washington. It was a move for my husband as he has recently been relocated. We are a military family and tend to bounce around often. The army had moved us a couple times and a few other moves which we handled ourselves. Every time we used a mover we had a problem however working with Jacob at Cross Country Moving we did not run into any problems. He was so friendly, and gave us all the resources that we needed to make an educated decision on our own. The movers did show up 30 minutes late for pick-up which is the only reason I am leaving 4 out of 5 stars. They wrapped all the furniture and packed roughly 75 boxes for us. The delivery took a week which is very quick based on my past experiences moving over 2k miles and we are now settled in our new home. Thank you Jacob and Cross Country Moving Group for such professional work, we will be referring you to anyone who’s looking to move.

Recently, I needed assistance with moving from Maryland to Atlanta due to starting a new job. After searching around, I was beginning to feel discouraged due to the quotes I was finding. Luckily, a close friend of mine suggested Cross Country Moving Group. I was able to hire them without having to break my bank. They were professional and quite friendly to me right from the get go. They treat my belongings as if everything was fragile…No scratches on instruments, no dents in any of my furniture, and no broken glassware! I’d highly recommended Cross Country Moving Group if you need help with a long-distance move!

You tend to get nervous when you're moving to another state. I was very worried, and I had no idea where to begin. I called Cross Country moving group and the lady was very friendly and reassured me the companies the use are insured and contracts are binding for my protection. I went over a few choices and they kept working with me until I was comfortable. Even though all the stress of trying to find the company that fit my needs they went above and beyond to get me discounts also. I was so scared to move. If you're anything like me, moving is nerve-wracking and stressful. Moving to a different state, especially with two kids, is worse than I imagined. I have to relocate a lot for my job. That’s the part I hate the most is to pack up everything over and over It’s such a nerve wracking process. I’m so happy I found the Cross Country Moving Group. They made the whole ordeal hassle free. They were nothing but professional. When it came to my belongings, they handled them with the utmost care, almost as if they were packing up their own stuff. They even triple wrapped some of my family heirlooms. Every person I talked to treated me like family. Unfortunately, with my job, I know I will need a moving service again in the future. Cross Country Movers is exactly what I never knew I needed! I’ve moved around a lot my whole life, apartment to house to home, always on my own, and this time we decided to hire some help since this was the longest and farthest move we’ve ever done.
