A lot happened over the last year that led me to make the decision to quit my job, sell my truck, and move in with my fiancé. A major problem though-- I lived in North Carolina and he is in Georgia. We didn't have anyone close to help me move, so after searching and setting my social anxiety aside, I contacted Cross Country Movers and was greeted with complete understanding of my situation and a quote that I could deal with of $3,100. I'm a person who likes to do pretty much everything on my own, but knowing that all my boxes and bags, bedroom furniture, and books were safe while my fiancé and I drove behind them in his car with our cat and all we had to do was enjoy a roadtrip made me feel so much better about everything. I was elated with this long distance movers service when my family and I moved from New Jersey to Florida. The movers arrived on time and they were patient and courteous when moving all our storage boxes and furniture out of our apartment. They worked hard moving everything our new home and even asked us where we specifically wanted to place everything. I love how the movers went above and beyond to please us. They were definitely an awesome help to us during this new chapter in our lives. I would definitely recommend Cross Country Moving Group to those who are making long distance moves!

Great service from good people! I had to schedule an emergency long distance move for a few large home appliance items and CCMG helped me arrange my move and at an affordable price of $2500. The movers were friendly and considerate of our new belongings. They handled everything with care and even asked how and where we preferred to move our things. If you're moving from or to Florida, consider CCMG. They're good people with great customer service who care about those they help.

I was excited and happy when I landed a new job in California, but the thought of moving stressed me considering all the stuff in my house. I had to move from Montana to start my dream job. Luckily a friend told me about Cross Country Moving Group. This company did an excellent job as they took care of all my household items making sure nothing was damaged during the process. I also congratulate them for making sure I arrived on time to report for my new job. Their price was fair considering the long distance I moved. If you are planning to move, consider this company for a stress-free experience.

I would definitely recommend Cross Country to handle the stress of the moving process. We usually move ourselves but with the amount of stuff we have it was pretty impossible. It takes a lot of trust to have all of your belongings moved on such a long trip, but they didn't disappoint. The guys arrived 10 minutes early, and they were so polite. They even taped boxes that we just finished packing without us even asking.. even something as little as that was such a help. Excellent communication throughout the entire process, and our stuff was unloaded without any damage. Pricing wise, it was fair. It was a pretty long drive, so factoring in gas and everything, it made sense. All in all, the guys were great and I would recommend this company for sure. Thank you!!

I would highly recommend Cross Country Moving Group to anybody looking to move. I used them to move from Pennsylvania to Florida and was pleasantly surprised at how quick and smooth the move went! I never imagined myself being comfortable and trusting with a moving company transporting my belongings and memories such a long distance, but Cross Country Moving Group made me feel so comfortable and stress-free with the move. As far as pricing goes, I felt it was fair, and they exceeded my expectations in all aspects of the move. Cross Country arrived at my new home earlier than I had expected, treated all my belongings with care, and were incredibly professional and polite. I could not have asked for a better move! I don't usually write reviews, but these guys definitely deserve it! Not only were they extremely professional throughout the entire process courteous, on time and friendly, But They were also helpful they somehow managed to make an awful situation a little better. Even before the day of the move, the communication was excellent. When I had questions, the response was prompt and courteous. The movers were very careful with our house and belongings. Excellent work! Top notch company to work with during your move. I would definitely use them again.

I wish I had taken more time to read reviews before I agreed to contract with this company. They are a brokerage that has no control over or interest in managing its downstream service suppliers. My experience was similar to others..low quote, increased price 30% to take furniture claiming the sales person underestimated space I would need..called multiple times after no communication for two weeks and Cross Country could not locate furniture for several days..received call two hours before they planned to arrive not 24 hours as promised..attempted to charge more if I could not meet them at time they designated and when I managed to do that then required me to pay additional fees because the very large truck they brought (my furniture occupied maybe 1/8 of it) could not get within 50 feet of my home. Many pieces of furniture were damaged including holes in sofa, broken cabinet, a broken lamp, etc. I don't expect to get any resolution on the damage given the incredibly poor experience to date and the fact that the handoffs from company to company were so extensive. This is a disreputable company that should be investigated and put out of business by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

I moved from Florida to Pennsylvania and was dreading it. Because of starting a new job, I didn't have time to load a truck and drive it across the country. I got in touch with Cross Country Moving Group and they set me up with a team that was professional and took pride in their work and their customer's property. At first, I was a little worried about some fragile items, but they assured that everything would be wrapped and secured. When they delivered, they were guaranteed to be in the same condition as when they left. They were helpful and courteous and had great customer service. I would recommend them.

Throughout my life I have had to move entirely too often. It’s never a fun process. I actually despise it, but what else can you do when life calls? My last big move, probably my biggest move yet was this last one. I thought it was going to have me pulling my hair out before I could even get there. I’ve moved countless times, but I’d never actually moved out of state until then. Luckily I found the Cross Country Moving Group and was blown away. Not only is the staff incredibly helpful and kind, but to my surprise my very first out of state move was a breeze.

Cross Country did a great job for my move from New Jersey to Atlanta, Georgia. As a recent graduate, moving to a new state for a job is a different experience. I was recommended to use them from a family friend who moved from New Jersey to Ohio a couple of months back. My initial estimate of $2000 was accurate and no “hidden fees” came up by the end of the move. The movers were on time and professional on the day of the move. All items arrived in one piece and no damage was found. Customer service was okay but overall I was satisfied with the move and would recommend them.

I cannot thank the folks at Cross Country Movers enough for the terrific support that they provided for my move from Wells Maine to Milton Delaware (not a very popular run I'm sure). My furniture (including an antique piano) arrived in perfect condition and it was handled very delicately when brought into my house. Thank you to Matt, Liz and Heidi in the office and Chris and his partner in the moving truck for the phenomenal (and totally stress-free) job that they did!!

This is a BROOKERAGE company. They will NOT move your items, they sell your move to another poorly rated company who will then increase your moving costs. Think all the recent positive reviews are bit odd? Please research the DOT# of the company before you decide to use them (should match the name, be authorized for and moving of personal goods), make sure they can come to your home and give you an accurate quote. Bottom of their website at least claims this time, "Please note that Cross Country Moving Group is a properly licensed interstate broker, and is not a carrier and will not transport an individual shipper’s household goods, but will coordinate and arrange for the transportation of household goods by another FMCSA authorized motor carrier." They don't let you know WHAT COMPANY is going to move your goods, you're in for some real surprises.

Recently, I needed assistance with moving from Maryland to Atlanta due to starting a new job. After searching around, I was beginning to feel discouraged due to the quotes I was finding. Luckily, a close friend of mine suggested Cross Country Moving Group. I was able to hire them without having to break my bank. They were professional and quite friendly to me right from the get go. They treat my belongings as if everything was fragile…No scratches on instruments, no dents in any of my furniture, and no broken glassware! I’d highly recommended Cross Country Moving Group if you need help with a long-distance move!

You tend to get nervous when you're moving to another state. I was very worried, and I had no idea where to begin. I called Cross Country moving group and the lady was very friendly and reassured me the companies the use are insured and contracts are binding for my protection. I went over a few choices and they kept working with me until I was comfortable. Even though all the stress of trying to find the company that fit my needs they went above and beyond to get me discounts also. I was so scared to move. Now I am in my new home, with all of my things and no worries. Thank you Cross Country moving group.

If you're anything like me, moving is nerve-wracking and stressful. Moving to a different state, especially with two kids, is worse than I imagined. I knew I needed a moving company to help us, but I wasn't sure who to trust. When I got in contact with Cross Country Moving Group, they were so nice and professional. Everyone that helped was incredibly knowledgeable and assured me that everything would be fine. The movers were great and mindful of our belongings. I was a little worried about moving from the Midwest to the East Coast as it's a big move. Many times during moves items can break or get lost. Luckily Cross Country Moving Group made it super easy and worry free. All my stuff came to my new house in one piece with nothing missing. I had a few very fragile items that I gave special instructions with and they all got delivered without a scratch. They had excellent customer service and professionalism. Any questions I had about delivery and pickup were promptly answered. They made moving hundreds of miles away easy, I was so happy all of my furniture and items were delivered to me at my new house! I highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat!

My sister had to move from the DC area to Detroit to begin her residency program, and after having lived in Maryland for so long, she had a house full of stuff. So naturally, she had to get a mover for this move to the Midwest. We spoke to a friend who had recently moved and she recommended Cross Country Moving Group, so we went online to learn more and later called them. Their staff were really friendly and sounded well versed and professional, so we decided to sign up! It turned out to be a very good decision because the entire move was seamless and without any major hiccups. One of our worries was that things might get manhandled or broken during the move, but this did not happen. We are extremely pleased with the service we paid for!

I will admit, my wife and I were a little intimidated the first time we had to make our first big move across our state for a job opportunity. Picking up our lives and moving like we did was something we hoped to do as easily and painlessly as possible. The team at Cross Country Moving Group took care of us during this unfamiliar process while treating our lives and our belongings with care and helping us get set up in our new home. We were also concerned about the cost since my new job covered only part of the moving expenses. They worked with us to make sure the move was completed on time and under our budget. We are very happy with our experience and will use Cross Country Moving Group again wherever life may take us.

I spoke with Neil at Cross Country Moving Group, who talked me into using their company as they were based in Delray Beach, FL, and my move was to South Florida. He locked me in at a price that didn't properly reflect my moving inventory, so obviously inaccurate. After I booked with Neil, he ghosted and was never to be heard from again. Very poor communication over all. The guys who came to pack up our house were great, but they were from a different company in Houston. They reporting to Quality Moving Services, which later turned out to be the company that handled the long distance move. All of my billing/payments then were through Quality Moving services. Not sure what happened to Cross Country moving group, but they completely disappeared. Several items were damaged in the move and filling a claim was a joke. Seems like they just made up a number for weight and then determined the value of reimbursement from a bogus weight. Glad most of my stuff made it to FL, but not sure really what company I was dealing with, but all booking was through Cross Country Moving Group.

I have to admit, I was sceptical. When we hired local movers from different companies, things were destroyed.. And I know how to pack. When I graduated from college I landed a job almost right away, but it was five states away. I knew moving a family of 5 and a dog wasn't going to be the best adventure, but let me tell you- Cross Country Moving Group made it so much easier than I expected. The day of the move, the movers arrived promptly and professionally. They asked if I had any special instructions before they started packing the truck. My biggest concern was a China set that was my grandmother's and held a lot of sentimental value. The movers proceeded to load the truck, paying special attention to the floors, walls and stairs (which a lot of times get banged up during a move). Fast forward to arrival at our new home, the movers called an hour before they were estimated to arrive and asked if we were available to bring us our belongings, they did say that if we weren't they would wait until the estimated time frame. It was no issue to us. They had the entire truck unpacked, and all of our furniture where we wanted it to go only 45 minutes after their estimated arrival time-consuming which was amazing! Upon unpacking our boxes, everything was still there- hadn't been gone through or damaged and my grandmother's China set was still as beautiful as ever. I highly recommend CCMR for anyone who wants movers to handle their belongings with the same care as you would. They were efficient, quick and professional! If I could give this company over 5 stars I would!
