Overall good move and service. I was impressed with how good the sales rep and customer service treated us each time we called with questions. The rep did a good job of helping me choose a date that would also fit with my budget. There were a bunch of details I needed clarifying and the rep was more than happy to, going so far as sending me an email with all the information about the move and how things work. When the movers got to our house they wasted no time in loading our things and making the place look empty. Before they left I got a chance to look over a list of my things. The move ended with the movers dropping everything off about a week later. All took place very smoothly, one minute they were getting there, the next everything was inside the house and they were back on their way. This was a good moving company and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fast and easy move.

As much as long distance relocation entails a lot, I find the quotations from many movers exaggerated and unreasonable. It is only with Condor Moving Systems where I found rates that match the quality of services offered. Better yet, the rates can comfortably fit in your relocation budget. At some point during the relocation, I thought that they would change their mind and revise their rates, but they didn't. I mean, their services are offered with such dedication you want to add them a few dollars.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2460

I was looking for experience and expertise for the relocation of my business I had vowed not to settle for anything less than efficiency for that relocation since a lot of valuables were at stake. A close friend suggested Condor Moving Systems due to their professionality. I checked them out, and they were the ideal people to use for the move. I hired them, and they did an amazing job. They were everything I wanted and more. Nothing, not even the delicate office equipment was damaged during the relocation.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2960

THE INITIAL TRUCK LOADING
The pickup crew for this 1200 mile interstate move was good except for some minor damage to the home during the truck loading. Condor refused to pay the very reasonable $50 repair because the damage was found by the realtor a few days after the move.

It all went downhill once our possessions were loaded!

- The price on my Bill of Lading was over 40% MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE.

- The Bill of Lading and subsequent billed amount were different, they grudgingly removed the extra charge.

- Every credit card payment contained a 2.5% “convenience fee.”

- If you pay the last installment upon delivery, they only accept CASH or POSTAL money order.
THE WAIT
- When my shipment was reloaded from their warehouse, I was called and told, “4-6 days for delivery..the driver would call 24 hrs prior.”

- After 5 days, I called their 800 number for delivery status twice. Both times my phone number was taken saying, “someone will get back to you” - no one did.

- On my third call (day seven) I was told it would be ANOTHER 4-6 DAYS. Maj (sales/customer service manager) told me that there had been a “problem” (undisclosed) over the weekend and there was a delay. I indicated this was outside of the Bill of Lading delivery window. She referenced a Delivery Information document signed at initial loading (I did not receive a copy) that gave them 1-10 business days from the first date delivery can be accepted. THIS WAS IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH THE BILL OF LADING AND GAVE THE COMPANY WIDE LATITUDE FOR FURTHER DELAYS. Maj was unapologetic saying, “it’s just part of interstate moving.” I asked for at least some status/tracking call on the truck’s progress so I could plan and coordinate on my end. She just droned that the driver would call 24 hrs prior.

- They don’t care about being outside of the delivery window because THEIR PENALTY IS A PATHETIC $15 A DAY. However, if you are unavailable at the drop of their hat, YOUR WAITING TIME CHARGE IS $125/hr or $450/day!

THE DELIVERY
- The driver called at 5:30 pm on a Thursday saying he would be there very late on Friday or Saturday, he promised a call at noon on Friday with a better time estimate. He stunned me at 9:30 pm with a call declaring he would deliver between 10am-1pm on Friday, the next day.

- The crew of three arrived around 2:00 pm on Friday. Upon entering the apartment unit, the driver’s first words are “I’ve got some bad news” and then proceeded to bilk me out of ANOTHER $520 CASH for a “long carry” (no evidence of measuring) with the concurrence of Maj.

- Despite this “long carry” charge, they don’t “carry” much. Everything is placed on an overloaded dolly or hand truck (they even borrowed mine). Boxes toppled and crashed down constantly in the halls and upon entering the unit. They did not care! I EVEN CAUGHT THE DRIVER AND ONE OF HIS HELPERS RACING LOADED CARTS DOWN THE APARTMENT HALLWAY, like 9 yr olds, SLAMMING INTO DOORWAY CORNERS AND DAMAGING BOXES! They needed constant supervision!

- At the end of the delivery (9:20 pm) the apartment was trashed, and most of our belonging and walls sustained some type of damage. Condor Moving Systems estimate claimed that any furniture that was taken apart would be put back together, NOTHING WAS PUT BACK TOGETHER. The driver insisted on completing final paperwork outside at the truck in the dark and would not do a final walk thru/accounting, he said it was too late.



I would never use this company again, nor would I recommend them. The continuous price gouging was stomach churning enough, but the final insult was the complete lack of professionalism by the delivery crew. The willfully careless behavior and damage inflicted was astonishing and completely disheartening. At that point there was nothing I could do.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8808

I used Condor Moving Systems to move me across town I was downsizing so this was a small move. The fact that it was a small move did not seem to matter to them at all they were very polite and helped me a bunch. I was able to move my items across town with ease. I highly recommend this company there family friendly atmosphere was great.I will use this company again if needed and recommend them to all my friends as I am older and have a lot of friends that are relocating.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2500

I had the unfortunate luck to have used this company. Everything sounded good, their estimates were a little higher than few other companies but I liked the idea of using a texas based company, and it seemed like they had good business practices.. I was wrong.

Everything from getting the estimate to having the movers pack up the stuff went smoothly, then the nightmare began. My furniture was delayed by nearly 2 weeks, past the estimated date, and for what reason? because the driver kept "running into issues". It turned into so much of an issue, that one of the managers "Maj" just gave me his number so I can deal with him directly.

Finally when they came with my stuff, most of the boxes looked like they had been smashed. It looked like the truck had flipped over a couple of times on it's way! My TV screen was completely cracked, they left permanent damage to the couch and broke a bookshelf. Now I'm dealing with a 3rd party they use for claims, don't expect to get a single cent. PLEASE RESEARCH OTHER COMPANIES, they're all movers, and inherently have the power over you once they have your stuff, but DON'T USE CONDOR if you want your stuff intact and on time.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1350

Honestly, I would rate this zero stars if I could and I beg you please do not use this service. I had my belongings moved from Dallas to Washington DC and included storage. When I received my goods, the mover demanded I pay more money than I was originally quoted for and intimidated me until I go to the ATM to give him more money. When I opened up my goods I found many of my items mishandled and damaged.

I filled out a claim and received a response from Anthem Claims that they would pay me nothing for my damages. Currently, I'm awaiting arbitration for this to see if I can recoup any losses.

I spoke to an employee named Deanna about my experience. Although sincere and apologetic, she offered to do nothing for me. She informed that Condor is essentially a moving broker that simply hires companies to do the moving for them. In other words, they really don't manage any of these employees or the companies themselves so they cannot be responsible for their actions.

Pay a little more and get a quality company to move your belongings. I move often for my profession and I have loved the work that Armstrong does! Shame on you Condor, this has hurt me financially more than you would ever care to consider.

Unbelievably, Condor only sent one guy too unload the truck. He was not able to manipulate the very heavy sleeper sofa into the elevator alone so he started dragging it up the stairwell. He told me it's already got some damage. I saw part of the leg on the floor. 3 calls to his dispatcher, Ashley, for help. She made him find someone on his own. He placed an ad on Craigslist. I don't know who or what is coming to help him dislodge the furniture.

You're better off going to Craigslist on your own. My move was nearly $4,000 from Dallas to Pompano Beach. Two otherpieces are damaged and will be in the claim also. This was a 3 man job.
