College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving

Called and had a Sunday appointment scheduled for a 6-8pm for a manager to come by for a moving quote. The associate I made the appointment with (Raymond) was friendly and told me I'd recieve a call prior to the appointment window to give me a better ETA of the hunk. Aldo read a disclosure about how I was now in the hunk family. Sunday at 6pm came and recieved no call prior to this. I waited until 7:45pm to call the company myself for an ETA. Frank told me that a manager would call me in 10-15 min to provide me with an ETA. I did remind Frank that in 15 min would be at 8pm, which was the end of our appointment window. No call no show on Sunday. Unacceptable

I had to relocate to another state for work, being a single mother I wanted a fair price. The amount of damages done on my furniture is not worth it. They underestimated the job not providing the right size truck which I had to leave my young teenager behind waiting on the second truck because I had to meet with management at the new place where were moving to. They charged me an additional $800 from the est. given, not a small change. Their customer service doesn't care about the service provided. This company shouldn’t be on business.

TERRIBLE company to work with. Move was scheduled, then they rescheduled. Then they DIDN‘T SHOW UP. Then rescheduled for next day then at the appointed time snottily said they would be late.Then accused me of threatening them.Now will not return calls. Corporate says the local franchise won’t work with us.

Now we are stuck with apt. lease expiring, empty new home and can’t get another mover until late September. In my opinion they are badly managed corporately and locally. I cannot say ANYTHING good about this company.

They moved us from one house to the next.

A couple of weeks ago.

They RIPPED HOLES in our kitchen floor from moving the refrigerator.

My husband called the movers back as soon as he saw it and the guy said "oh I have to tell my boss, I don't handle claims".

Ok.

3-4 days later we didn't hear back, so I called them myself.

The representative said that in our notes, it said that someone reached out to talk about the floor repair. That's a lie. They only emailed my husband to ask about a photo.

I told them that no, NO ONE reached out. The girl said "ok, I'll leave a voicemail on his personal phone and have him call back."

They just emailed, NOT CALLED my husband today and said "the movers said they didn't do the damage."

Our floors were brand new and YOUR MOVERS ripped about a dozen holes in our vinyl floor.

FIX IT.

I will be calling everyday until this gets resolved.

Fix your crap.

My first experience with this company went well, so I hired them to come back to do a junk removal.

Job was scheduled Thursday for Sat 16 at 8am. Confirmation was received.

at 10 am, still no crew, so I called the company and couldnt get any one at the local office, so I had to call the corporate office. They said that the crew was doing a full house clean out and was running late. They called the crew and was informed that they would be at our place at 11am. i said that was fine. I was also told that they would call ahead of time to verify they were on the way.

at 5pm, still no crew, no phone call. So I called back to the office. the corporate office told us that there was no job for that day. After a few minutes of arguing, he found the order, but told us that it was scheduled for Monday Oct 18 at 8am!

I said that was not correct and that we never rescheduled it. He was rude and argued with us saying that there wasnt anything they could do.

I find this very unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never use this company ever again

O start, they were cancelling my move and no call the morning of my move. I finally called when 45 minutes passed and Jason informed me that they need to reschedule for the next day. My house was already disassembled ready for the move and told him that was unacceptable. Then an hour and half later they called and said they would be there in 10 minutes. 45 minutes passed and they finally arrived, the shop is only 5 miles down the street. They informed me that they had to go get some food and drinks before they came to me. Now they informed me that I pay from there shop to my house so i guess I paid for them to do that. Moving on, I watched them drop my marble topped dresser off the back of the truck and broke off a corner and scarred the wood. I informed the Manager Jason Buchannan, he came and took pictures and said he would get back to me by the end of the week. 3 weeks pass and no communication. I stop in and he really didn't seem to care. He gave me the story of the furniture repair guy hasn't called him back yet and that's why he didn't call in 3 weeks. Unlikely. I believe they just wanted my to forget about it. He then offered me .60 cent/weight to go away and I told him to keep his money, that doesn't cover their recklessness or the process in which they do business. I pay by the hour and felt like the crew was inexperienced and moved slowly to prolong the job brining greater revenue. Very Unhappy with this company!!!!

Elijah and Joe were very nice. However, when we booked the service we explained that 2 refrigerators needed to be moved. One hauled away and the other moved from the kitchen to the basement. The one being moved to the basement had an icemaker attached. The gentleman that were sent had no idea how to remove the doors from the refrigerator (icemaker attached) in order to get it through the doors. They were totally unprepared to move anything. They had no handtruck and no tools. No furniture pads and nothing to lay down on the floor when they drug the refrigerator through the house. So now we have to pay someone else to come out and get the refrigerator from our garage into our basement. I would not recommend this service for anything other than hauling away junk. I would give less than one star if I could.
