Top marks for a very good service.Our move was relatively simple with only a wardrobe to dismantle,good access and no stairs.Still the guys did brilliant.They loaded quickly and took very good care of our stuff.They also gave us some spare boxes they had in the truck for the last bits of packing.They told us not to pack the TV as they had a  special cover which they used.
They got to the new place about 1 hour before us as we had to wayt for the keys.When we arrived we explained where we wanted the furniture and that was it.
The truck was empty in around 1 Hour and than it took them another 20 minutes to assemble the wardrobe.
Good service.

This was a 3 bedroom house removal with a full service including packing and unpacking over 3 days and this company have made it all look so easy that it actually took all the stress away.
What seemed to us most complicated as we have a lot of paintings ,statues and a baby grand piano which are quite old,in their hands everything was safe and uncomplicated.
The whole moving process was as we would have expected.The good thing of having a complete service is that once they did the unpacking and placed everything where we wanted they took all the leftover packing materials and believe me there was quite a lot.Also we immediately saw that everything was intact.
There were 3 longish days to be honest but at the end of the day we know it was a big job.We were very happy that they did not rush and took their time.
The price was definitely not the cheapest but at the end of the day you get what you pay for.Good job.

This is the 2nd part of my review following the delivery from storage.With the first part going so well we couldn t wayt to get our things back and check the condition. I can now say that we received everything in very good condition.All our stuff was exactly as it was before.The removal men unwrapped the goods inside our house.Also they gave us the inventory so we could check exactly what we got back. They also reassembled one bed , one cot and a wardrobe. We could not have asked for a better service.We trusted this company with all our belongings for around 6 months and everything turned out ok. I would definiteky use again without a doubt.

I booked City Removals in January to move a large number of bulky items including some antique furniture and boxed china.They also brought all the packing materials they needed to wrap all the furniture as agreed.
The company was a pleasure to do bussiness with and from the start they were brilliant.
Everyone associated with the company behaved professionaly  and were willing to help.
They moved everything with relative ease and were very methodical and organized.
Price wise they were cheaper than some of the quotes but not the cheapest.
They also showed  us their insurance policy via email when we asked.
Again the whole service was really good and I would use again.

This was the second time we used the services of this company.1 year ago they moved us from our own house to a rented property nearby while refurbishment works were taking place.
As we were very happy with how the move went along we booked them once more.This time from the rented property back to our new place.
As the 2 addresses are very close they used a small truck and did 4 trips.The whole job took place over 3 days as we also paid them to unpack.
We had a home survey before the first move but we agreed with them that this was not the case now as we had the exact amount of stuff and they knew what we had.
We received the exact quality service this time as well.All their men were very good and worked like you would not believe.Also they took very very good care of all our possesions.2 out of the 3 days were quite long and none of them complained in any way.
Based on our experience we would definetely use again and recommend to others.

Service cost: £1840

We did not have a massive amount to move but I think our move is a mover's worst nightmare.I say this because we had a 2 bedroom flat on the 4th floor with tight staircases and guess what..no lift.
This is why we looked for someone who Was also willing to come out and asses our property, which Is what they did.The assesor to our surpize was a lady but she seemed proffessional and quite experienced.The quote was sent via email and as it goes we accepted it.
Being a 4th floor they sent out a men team.The amount of stamina these guys have is fenomenal.And after climbing endless amount if stairs they still manage to be polite and helpfull.
Not too much more to say about the move.It was a smooth experience and also we were pleasantly surprized by how the men behaved throughout the day.
Everything was handled with care and moved safely.

Service cost: £940

 A very good service was provided.They were contracted to move 2 bedrooms and the contents of a kitchen from a 4 bedroom house.They packed and moved everything in one day.
As this was more of a fragile pack they cane prepared.Plates ,glasses and other fragile stuff was very well wrapped inside boxes and plenty of tissue paper was used.
For 3 of the bigger paintings we arranged for them to fabricated some wooden crates which were brought on the day.
The 3 men crew were exceptionall and thy did the job they had to do very well.
I did not watch them too long as I was in and out all day long but all was done in a speedy and safe manner.

Service cost: £650

We recently from our property into a slightly larger 2 bed flat.
We requested a quote via their website and we received it via email.
The move was not big and it was completed in 6 hours with 2 very good chaps and a Luton van which was three quarters full.
The price was 260 pounds plus the cost of a few boxes which were deliverred to us 2 weeks before.This gave us just enough time to slowly pack our stuff.
The only fragile stuff I really cared about were 2 imacs.I made it clear to them and asked that they were very carefull with these.As it comes they wrapped those in some zipped red covers they had,which was very good.
Also they did the parking arrangements for us with the council as I would'nt have had a clue on how to do this.
We are not frequent movers and hooe to stay here a long time but I would use them again if the tike comes.

Before deciding on a company we asked and received 5 quotes from which 3 companies also came and did a survey.Amongst other things we mainly chose City Removals as they were the only ones who were BAR accredited.The other reasons were they had a top online reputation from what we read and their surveior was miles ahead of the the other ones.We were expecting a man but to our surpize a very nice and polide lady came(Nicola).She explained us the whole process and she assessed our house and the volume very well.She was the only one that for example opened all the cupboards so she can have a proper look.
To the removal now,everything was as expected.The crew was very nice and provided us with a top top service.
We now also unpacked all the boxes and we found no breakages.
Our advice to anyone,no matter who you choose is make sure they are part of the BAR and also ask them to come around so you can see them face to face.

We were asked to post a review of this company and we feel this is the least they dezerve.Moving is stressfull enough and the last thing you need is a bad removal company to cause more problems on the day.Fortunately this was not our case.The whole experience was very positive and they have done  everything they could to make us happy.From the moment they started working I realized that we have made a good choice.
All their staff were smartly dressed in company uniforms ,they spoke english and most importantely they cared about what they were doing.
Our furniture was very well wrapped,and they also dismantelled and put back together a large amount of furniture.I am sure it was not but they actually made the whole move look easy.
I would urge anyone to do their bit of research and think well before contracting a company.We know some people who were not as lucky as us.These guys had very good reviews and they were also BAR members which was a must for us.
