City-Removals and Storage

We had a very good experience with City-Removals and Storage moving from a two-bedroom flat to a house. The saleslady was very professional and helpful from the start offering two options in order to keep the costs down. Our move was stress-free, fast and efficient. We very much appreciated the team's flexibility and can-do attitude especially when they were struggling with our sofa in the staircase.. which they did manage to get to the lounge in the end!
We won't hesitate to recommend their services in the future.

We needed to have some of our staff packed and moved to storage for about 2 weeks while a new floor was being fitted in our flat. We also kept some stuff behind so the amount being moved was limited.They were able to give me a quote over the phone and they kept to their price. Everything was moved on time and brought back in perfect condition.Also I was provided with a full inventory so the whole thing was quite professional. I would definitely use again and recommend.

Service provided what exactly as was described.No hidden costs whatsoever.The men were punctual,polite,friendly and did the job never changing their attitude for the whole day.
Our move was certainly not the easiest.A 3rd floor flat with a very small lift.They have used the lift only for the boxes as the bigger furniture was too big so they had to use the stairs and manage a few tight turns.I guess they are used to this kind if situation.Also their fitness levels are extraordinary.
Once at our new place we showed them around and they got in with it.Everything was also placed where we wanted.
We could not have asked for more.

City Removals were excellent  throughout .Their staff arrived on time in full uniform equipment and worked non stop during the whole removal process.They were really friendly and competent. The booking process was as smooth as possible.We found them on the Which Trusted Traders directory.We gave them a list of what we wanted to move and they provided us with a quotation via email. Life is too short to write a long review but I would definitely use again and recommend.

A complicated house move of a family of five hoarders from the south to the north of England was handled from start to finish with friendly, polite and flexible professionalism. What could have been a nightmare, worked out very smoothly and as a result was very stress free. The only possible negative is that these guys just work so fast you have to be organised at your end. Nothing was broken, everything was packed beautifully - including my just finished coffee mug! and the team of five were extremely polite and helpful. We also had a second destination, 12 miles from the main relocation site, where we needed four pieces of furniture and a grand piano to be delivered and the packing was handled so well that there was no double handling and everything just ended up in the right places. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to any one moving house, and in fact have already done so to several of my friends. Oh, they were also less expensive than the two other large companies that I got to quote, and although this was not a deciding factor, it was great to feel so satisfied with the service that we received.

A very good experience from start to finish. 
Very organized the men emptied our flat in less than 2 hours.On top of this they were polite and willing to go the extra mile.After taking all our stuff out of the flat we asked them to rearange some of the furniture that belonged to the landlord.They did this without any moaning.
On arrival in Brighton unfortunately for them they were not able to find a suitable parking spot so they ended up having to negotiate quite a long walk to the entrance of the new flat.A bit frustrating for them but again they just adapted very well and finished the job.

A very pleasant experience so far.Everyone involved in organizing our move was very helpfull and proffessional.I said so far because unfortunately we do not have a new place as yet and we had to place everything in storage for the time being,so I will post a full review once we get our things back.
They oferred us very good rates for storage and the fact they work with Big Yellow made us chose this option.
Also all our furniture was wrapped very well for safe storage.The men wrote a full inventory on the day which we signed.we were also given the address of the storage and the acces codes in case we need anything from our room.
Top service so far and I hope it will be the same when they will return our belongings.

We chose City Removals because of the very good things we found about them on line. After using them I can only agree with the rest..a very good service provided.They also arranged parking right outside our flat which made things easyer on the day. The 2 removal chaps came on time .They were polite and helpfull and did their job very well. We also bought some packing materials from them which were deliverred as promised 1 week before our move.This gave us enough time to pack everything we had nicely. Our move was not overly complicated but still we wanted someone who would not add to the stress.They provided what we wanted so I would be happy to recommend.

We moved house frok Hornchurch to Epsom in January.
A surveyor from this company came and saw our property in September but due to the incompetence if many people involved in the buying process we only completed towards the end of December.
The assessor was with us for around 1 hour and she patiently answered all our questions and explained the whole process.At no point she seemed in a rush to leave and she has left us with a positive impression.
Also we booked our dates and changed a few times as the completion date changed a few times, and they have been very helpful.
The 6 men that came on the day were also polite and most importantly with a can do attitude all the time. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept the positive attitude throughout the whole day.
On the packing day they also emptied our loft as to save some time on the move day.
Everything was moved safely and in the end we had no damages or missing items.
We would recommend this company to anyone and the best advise  we can give is no matter who you chose make sure they send someone to view your property.
