City-Removals and Storage

We moved from London to Edinburgh at the begining of February.With such a long distance involved and with 2 small kids things were not easy.We only wanted a company that would not make things more difficult than they were.Our estate agent told us to only use BAR registerred companies and so we did.That was a very good piece of advice.
The move was over 2 days.In the first day the men loaded the vehicles.As we were not quite ready with the packing they also helped us placing the last bits and pieces into boxes.
They were brilliant.They worked fast and were considerate all the time.When they came early in the morning our kids were still asleep and they tried to make as little noise as possible.Great stuff.
We spent the night at a hotel halfway through to our destination.We got there around 11:00AM the following day and they were wayting.
They quickly unloaded the van And they went on their way.
On close inspection we found no damages or scratches and nothing was missing.We also got a call frok the office as they wanted to check we were happy with the service.Great job and customer service.l.

Not much to say.The whole removal was excellent.The company gave us a quote which to us seemed reasonable.We called them and gave them a list of the contents of our flat and they provided a quotation via email.
The 2 workers were very good.They started on time and they were generally 2 very nice and aproachable guys.We had no extra charges on the day even though they had to walk a bit as some smart guy decided to park right in front of our flat.We had a parking suspension in place and the council removed his car but this made the whole job last a bit longer.
In our new flat they moved some furniture that was already there so that we can make some space for ours.They also took away some unwanted bags and plants from the garden.This was included in the price.
Generally a very good service and we were pleasantly susrprized by the whole experience.Top marks.

This is the second time we used City-Removals. They did an excellent job. They kept our address and volume requirement details from two years ago and we adjusted the details to come up with a new quote which was very smart and practical.

All the team members are very reliable. Not a single item is damaged or lost. They were all very polite and harworking. Came on time and finished on time. I recommend them to friends who were also very happy.

I worked with other service providers in the past. The difference is huge. In a stressful time such as moving your home you want reliable guys like these. If we move again, we will call them no doubt.

Well, in summary: I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A top experience on all levels.Moving crew on the day was absolutely fantastic and the support and the knowledge we received from their office staff was again outstanding.Everyone was helpfull,polite and a pleasure to deal with.
Our emails were answerred straight away.We changed the date a few times as our flat wasn t ready and they changed it without asking twice.
The 2 men were very very good.Strong and willing to go beyond their job description to make things easy for us.
The whole job took them around 8 hours and in this time they also took apart and rebuild 2 beds and one ikea wardrobe with sliding doors which I always thought is a pain to handle.
My husband travelled with them on the truck to the delivery address as being a new development it was not properly listed on google maps yet.
A very good experience that we thoroughly enjoyed and altough we were expecting minor thing might go wrong..well in the end nothing did.

We are very happy to provide our feedback about the service we received from this company.They deliverred on all their promises and everything worked like clockwork.
We had a 4 men team which worked very hard without a fuss and also worked very efficient and in an organized way.They were part of a team and each one of them knew exactly what his role is.One was loading the vehicle ,one was dismantelling and the other two were wrapping and taking things to the van.
All in all it was a long day.All of them worked very hard for 12 hours and in the end we were left happy in our new place.
I was also very impressed with their willingness to help and they ve bent over backwards to ensure we were satisfied and all was ok.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone and would use again myself if needed.
A very good outcome to a quite complicated move.

Overall our experience with City Removals was extremely positive.The office personnel were all very helpful and quick at answering our emails.
The email with the quote was very well laid out and the service to be expected clearly presented and written.There were no catches in it either and in the end we paid exactly what we agreed.
The moving men were all presentable and most importantly spoke english to a very good level.They understood exactly our instructions and followed them swiftly.
They also spoke very highly of their company telling us they get treated very very well.One of the men was with the company for five years while the other for 3 years.I think this says a lot about the company.
Not only this,they were also very proffessional and worked fast and efficient.They were also willing to help all the time and did everything they could to leave us with a good impression.
A very good service,one that I would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

We recently received our goods back from storage and after checking everything and unpacking most of the boxes we are happy that nothing is missing and there are no damages.
We received everything in the same way they were before going into storage.We chose to use this company as in terms of storage they use Big Yellow and this seemed a better idea than container storage that other companies oferred.
They are also BAR members which ticked one of the must haves for us.
The men that deliverred from storage were polite and helpfull.They placed everything where we wanted and also reassembled the beds and one wardrobe.
We cannot fault the service in any way whatsoever.What was a complicated move with some  potential pitfalls turned out to be a hassle free experience.
We were also given a copy of our inventory and this way we were able to croscheck everything arrived and nothing was missing.
A very good service.

Our new address in Enfield was a 30 minute drive from our old place near Hammersmith.We had a 2 bed flat on the 3rd floor with a lift and a normal amount of furniture and small contents.
The company provided us with 3 bright and young men and 2 Luton trucks as the acces road was a bit narrow.
They also paid and organized a yellow line dispensation so that they could park right in front.
All went like clockwork.The 3 team members were highly skilled and even though they were from Romania their english was outstanding.We had no problems in making them understand what we wanted and communication with them was a breeze.
They worked very hard all day long without moaning, on the contrary they kept the positive attitude they showed up with in the morning throughout the whole day.
A great deal of credit has to go to the company for employng such people and because they seek to understand that whoever does their job is the face of the company.
Overall we are impressed to bits with the level of service provided and would definitely like to repeat this experience with the company next time we move.
