Superb!

Excellent service! My moving team was incredibly fast and on time. This was also the cheapest service in the city. I requested quotes from 5 sites, and they were about $60 cheaper.

Never use this company.

I contracted with EZ Moving to ship donated medical equipment to the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. I called several movers and all wanted $5000 to ship hospital beds and medical supplies. EZ Moving agreed to do it for $2300. However, they subcontracted to Boost who came 12 hours late, told me that I had to pay an extra $300 for a smaller truck since and 18 wheeler could not get down our driveway--it could--they never asked. I told them that I wasn't paying for a shuttle fee of $300 for the smaller truck and they immediately waived the fee. Now I know why--they were going to get me later. Now Boost is holding our shipment hostage after doubling the original estimate to $5600. So EZ Moving made $700 and suckered me into a contract then subbed out the job to Boost who doubled the price. I would not use either EZ Moving or Boost. Can't even get the guy I made the contract with at EZ Mover to answer the phone. Boost was supposed to show up with a weight slip so I would know the empty weight of the truck--they didn't. Now they are telling me that I should trust that the empty truck weight slip they sent was for the same truck they sent to the house--no way to know. They most probably weighed the truck with no gas in the tanks and then filled up the tanks with gas and our stuff to weigh in. There is just no way to know the truth and the fact that none of the people spoke English (they are all Ukrainian) in front of us when calling the "boss" was rude and unprofessional. What happened that Boost had great reviews in 2016 and bad reviews in 2017? When did the new management get in there. Either way, never use this company.

Highly recommended.

I’ve recently moved to another state with this company Boost Express and was impressed how good their service is. Their crew was very professional and friendly, they helped me out from start to finish(packed the stuff properly, handled with care in order to keep my belongings safe and delivered with no damages). I could not have asked for a better moving crew. Reasonable price and on time delivery. Highly recommended!

Thank youu guys for the service.

I recently used Boost Express Van Lines to move a 2 bedroom apt for my wife and I from Syracuse to Parlin. They were absolutely amazing. Valentin, Alex and Sergey showed up exactly on time and were awesome to work with. They were efficient, polite, professional, caring and all around good guys. I cannot say enough good things about the job they did. Stacy from costumer service was very informative about dates and hours of the move. Working with this company made our move so much less hectic and stressful. They were just a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone. Good job, and well done Boost Express.

Efficient.

I had a great experience with Boost Express Van Lines. Looking at all of my stuff I could not think that it would be so easy to move. I am that kind of guy that can carry a lot of stuff on my own and thought if being helpful, but when the guys from boost came they said to get my self a coffee and enjoy the process. They did everything in about 4 hours (I had 2 bedroom apartment). Packed, loaded into the truck. Nothing was broken, nothing was lost. Katy from costumer office led me through the whole move. Thank you for an easy move and defiantly ill use the Boost express van lines on my next move. Already advised them to one of my friends.

Stay Away!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. We were quoted 2k for our move and ended up paying 5k when there is no way we were that much over our quote. They also would not offer any payment plan when most people do not plan for over twice their quoted price, not to mention how much money we wasted on stuff we already had but had to to purchase and eating out due to the delay. They expected you to pay the entire balance in cash or money order upon delivery and we were told the entire time we would be getting a discount for our hassle not paying over double. We moved a four bedroom home but only one bed and two dressers, sold most of our things to save money but in the end this did not help thanks to this company. They were also 11 days late in delivering our stuff. We sat in an empty house unable to contact them with the worst communication ever. You will save money using a uhaul twice yourself than letting this company move your items.

Long-distance move from Nashville, TN to Houston, TX

The most horrible moving company ever.

I wish I could point out every single detail about how horrible this company is
1) showed up late 3pm to pack an entire 3 bedroom house. Spent the entire first day until 8 pm taping boxes that were already taped
2) we were to close the next day at 10 am. They showed up at 8 am. Didn’t finish until after we closed. Left our furniture thrown on the grass outside
3) didn’t receive our furniture on other side until 3 weeks later. Every week they said the movers will be there next week. It got so bad my 9 year old said I’m just not going to believe anything they tell us. We had nothing had to rent beds, buy towels, a fridge, pots and pans etc. they promised us a discount for our inconvenience.
4) furniture is finally arriving. No discount because they didn’t feel they did anything wrong. Balance due went up from $3000 to $4700.
5) they charged us $800 worth of supplies for the boxes they taped.

If you like your sanity and peace of mind pay for some people with better reviews. We didn’t book them but booked through safe and secure who booked these jokers.

Beware this Mover.

Boost Express was selected for our move from Missouri to Texas by U.S. Household Moving and Storage. Instead of showing up with a large truck and 4-6 movers. Instead they showed up with a small rental truck and two Ukranians. Instead of taking two days, because they were understaffed, it took three days working all day until after midnight with my wife and I having to pack and assist the entire time. The goods were packed and placed on the truck on July 6,7 and 8 taking a day longer and Herculean efforts. We learned that Boost was not use to doing large moves and ours was one of their largest with us having a 4500 sq. ft. house. The Company is in NJ and primarily serves NJ and Chicago. The goods were to be moved to Texas for delivery on July 19. Good-bye goods. It is now August 15 and do not know where our goods are or when they will arrive. We are being stone-walled by Boost Express. They are not helpful and neither is U.S. Household Storage who has taken our money and disappeared back into the woodwork. Apparently we will need to take this to litigation to find out what really happened. We feel like we have been the victims of a fraud. Stay away from Boost Express Van Lines.

Please Investigate!

Please do yourself a favor and read the fmcsa.dot.gov moving fraud guidelines and avoid companies like Boost Express Van Lines.

Recently moved from Midwest to East Coast. This company was used by Atlas Moving and Storage broker (aka AMERICAN WIDE RELOCATION INC ) to deliver my belongings.
Same experience as the many of the 1 star reviews, broken and destroyed furniture beyond repair, lost/stolen items, predatory business practices, using rental trucks, almost impossible to reach for updates. Damaged to walls in my new apartment, although to be fair they covered the repair cost.

The settlement offered by one of the companies involved in the move, Brightline Van Lines was $140 to settle an estimates $2200 in losses and missing/stolen items, this would not even cover the shipping cost of items that never arrived.

My sad prediction for the future, this company will change yet again its name and continue to do business as usual, in a dance of easy money, lose regulations and predatory practices.

If you are considering hiring them or just hired them and waiting for your belongings, I sincerely wish you my best of luck!

I am so Happy!
Boost express van line really did a great job moving my stuff. They were so fast in responding to my call. I had to move quickly, and in was a big move for me, from NYC to Denver. So here I am a week later with all my stuff and furniture intact and on time.
The truck guys came in and carefully wraped my furniture and put it on the truck. Then they packed all of my boxes and bags on the truck too. They were skilled and friendly workers. I had to just stand a side and watch them do everything. I have given them 5 stars for their hard work, promptness and professionalism. I am glad I found a reliable company. Thank you guys for making it so easy ;-). I would call this company again, high recomendations from me.

Pure Negligence! Read This Before You Decide on This Company!

We moved from NJ to SC and it was horrific. After the first 10 of them showing up the forman informes us of his dislike for the job and how he was quitting that week, but ended up being that day in the middle of the job. During the entire day of packing our stuff they refused to use boxes we had supplied for them believing to inflat the price, they took smoke breaks every 30 min and when we would ask a question during that time we were told to wait a minute until they were done. As the day continued the truck showed up at 1230 to start loading but quickly ledt again to return by 330. Bit never returnes til 730 to leave again without loading. The foreman kept telling us the driver foegot to do pre wieght and will be right back to load. Finally at 845pm the truck returned and never loaded. At that rime the forman informes us he was quiting and walked off the job. Not only leaving trash all over street and residence but never finished packing after 11 hrs being there, but threw boxes into our garage not caring if they were fragile or not, then grabbed his crew and left. We had to clean the street of trash, and our house to ensure our pet didn't eat anything dangerous causing him to become sick. They also left food that we supplied for them throughout the kitchen and packing tape every where, and left us with no blankets, pillows or even a bed to sleep in because the already wrapped or packed them against our wishes. We had to search all there boxes to find something to sleep with and noticed boxes were only half full of some even less then 1/2 realizing again to inflate the price. The next day when the truck arrived without the forman of course, we were informed items were packed wrong and had to be re packed. St this point we knew we made a critical mistake with Boost Moving Co. But was in a position we could not change. So after another 6 hrs of loading and repacking and addiotional $3,000 inflation in cost. we filled 1/2 18 wheeler and hoping the worst is over we were on our way. Boy were we wrong. Its delivery day, and what hapoened, the delivery driver was only one who came, demanding final payment and was advertised on craigslist for unloading help. After 3 hrs of waiting for responses and only 1 additional person showing up the unloading started. NOT! The doors wouldn't open on side of truck. So the driver ended up climbing all over our stuff to unjam the doors that took another half hr. They never put protective padding down on our brand new floors and refused to use the ramps so all items were either slid down side of truck or lifted out while He is assuring me it's ok and don't worry when we asked for the ramps. As we are setting up to di the invetory check list which was advised by company the driver told us he is doesn't have time for us to check all the boxes and threatened to leave with our belongings if we continued with item check list. I then showed him the contract listing his responsibilities and insured him we will contact the cops. He then agreed and unloading started. Once again stopping because driver attempted to unload everything on front lawn and leave.I again showed him the contract while he was on the phone with his boss and he once again said ok he will take items in house and work resummed. Still no ramps or floor protectors. Finally after 4 hrs and multiple broken items, we had enough. We stopped all work and again asked for ramps and was told he doesn't have them and it's ok and don't worry. So we had to make a decision to continue with check list of start unloading stuff ourselves to prevent either loss. So we decided to unload and protect our belongings even though we paid over $7,000 for there service we ended up doing most of the unload, reassembling and unpacking large items they were contracted to do. After another 6hrs, the larger items such as refrigerator, took chest and heaviest items were ready to unload. And the worst happened, the driver slid out brand new, never used fridge down the side of the the truck after we attempted to stop him, and destroyed it. No ramps no dolly just lifted it with two landscapers he hired off the street and slid it down creating scratches, dents and bent frame destroying it. That was it for me, I gave him some STRONG advice about proper techniques he new I wasn't happy so he finally started to utilize better unloading procedure. Finally pulling out the ramps that he insisted he never had and realizing all the hired helpers decided to leave due to the unprofessional tactics of the driver. But aunderstanding also of all the pictures and videos I was acquiring of all the damage and his neglectful company practice. So at the end of the day and after thousands of dollars in damage to our home and belongings, the decisions is yours the consumer. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO THIS COMPANY TO END UP LIKE US?? HOPE NOT!!

Lost items.

I agree with every negative comment on here. They do not deliver on time. They packed our home in NY and obviously unloaded it in a warehouse in New Jersey. They lost a large lawn edger, large mirror to a dresser and two boxes clearly labeled Virginia. This was after they tried to deliver items to Florida that were supposed to go to Virginia. This included an armoir to a dresser and mattresses and box springs. I might add they left items in Virginia that did not belong there. They were subcontracted by Colonial Van Lines who are a "broker" One doesn't know this ahead of time. I have sent complaints to the BBB and the attorney general in Florida. Do not use this company or Colonial. Colonial offered me $172. for the missing items.

Never Ever Use Boost Express.

My inter-state move was made complicated when the original moving company I hired had a truck break down and they sub-contracted my move to Boost Express. Thus began the nightmare. My furnishings arrived after a month, well outside the two-week commitment. Furniture was broken. Boxes looked like they'd been through war. Some boxes were missing and unaccounted for.

The truck was packed randomly, which increased the chances of those missing boxes. When the truck finally arrived, other people's items had to be unloaded in order to get to my things. Add to this, their boxes and furniture were placed on wet pavement and left in pouring rain for four hours as my move-in was done.

To boot, the driver came alone, saying "his guys" were right behind. Well, those guys had been hired that morning off of Craigslist. No vetting. No experience. Strangers now know where I live and what I own. The driver himself was verbally rude the entire time to me and to the Craigslist guys.

That rudeness was experienced with everyone I dealt with at Boost Express. Vague and full of excuses as to when they were showing up. Trying to insist on cash only at delivery (they got and accepted a cashier's check over their objections).

Do not ever hire this company.

Stay Away From This Company!!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. We have made many many moves with all types of different moving companies with our time in the military. I don’t even know where to begin with this company. They showed up over a day late to begin their packing. After they took 1.5 days longer to finish the job, they left rolls of empty tape dispensers, trash, packing supplies, all over the house. We had to come and clean THEIR mess before we could clean our empty home out. While cleaning, we found two large boxes in a corner of a bedroom that they completely left. They gave us a deliver date of June 20, to our new home. June 20 came, my husband took off work, we were ready and waiting (with 3 small kids) we called the company, only to find out that not only would they not be there that day, they couldn’t even tell us WHEN they would arrive. They didn’t even have the decency to call and let us know. Here we are, July 5, can’t get anyone to give us a straight answer and we are still without our household goods. They packed our home June 9-11. If I could give anyone considering this company any advice, it would be STAY FAR AWAY. We still don’t know when our goods will arrive and we are currently looking into what legal options we have to try and get our household goods delivered. We feel held hostage with no answers and no communication. Worst moving experience to date!

Worst Move Ever! Do NOT Use This Company.

Boost Express Van Lines- US DOT 2453637- Worst Moving Company/They have no ethics and utilizes deceptive business practices!

Boost is the worst moving company; they outright lie about virtually every critical item. They agree in writing to pick up on a specific date and agree to deliver by a specific date (1-3 days after pick up), they do not follow the federal law which requires the mover to provide in writing change of agreed pickup or delivery delays based on “guaranteed” dates. Boost never calls to advise they are going to miss dates.

My agreement clearly stated that they would pick on June 28, 2018, the day prior I have to call them and was advised pickup would be between 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. When they had not called or shown up by 4:00 PM on the 28th I call only to be advised that they are at another job and will not make the pick on the agreed date and will arrive the following day between 9:00 AM and 12N. Of course the following day they do NOT show up by 12N, I had to call them again to find out what’s going only to be advised they are running 4-5 hours late. They did arrive around 4:00 PM and started the loading process.

As they are loading the truck they ask for the 2nd payment which the terms are:
1. 10% upon reservation of a moving day by credit card (they list Visa, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard and American Express. I paid with American Express
2. 50% on moving day by personal check, credit card, cashier check, money order or cash
3. 40% remaining balance due at the time of the delivery before unloading by either Cash or Postal Money order ONLY.
Note: Do NOT work with any company that does not accept American Express-I will explain why shortly.
For the load payment 50% they advised that they would NOT accept American Express card, now they accepted with the reservation deposit, and American Express is clearly noted on their website as a payment method, the reason is that they believe that they breached the contract and that AX will do a chargeback. They stated that they would only accept a Visa or MasterCard and that they only wanted 40% and NOT the 50% as noted on the agreement; they don’t want the 50% because the final payment upon delivery is CASH!

Now for the delivery, my contract stated “guaranteed delivery” 1-3 days from pick up, delivery will be no later than July 1, 2018, the actual delivery date was July 4, 2018, at 12:30 AM (yes AM). They missed and outright lied about nine pickup and delivery dates!

I won’t even get into that they damage many items and outright lost eight boxes!

The only thing Boost is good at is lying and BOOSTING your money. This company has no ethics and utilizes deceptive business practices!

Feel free to call me at 908-517-5111 for complete details!

The letter from Boost Express Sales rep that handled my booking:

To Whom It May Concern: July 6, 2018

I Terri XX was the sales rep that worked on XX move. Below is a copy of the contract. I was approved to give XX a guaranteed delivery date. His total estimate was with expedited delivery. He needed to be picked up 6/28/18 and delivered no later than July 1st. XX paid $460 deposit with his American Express Card to secure his move. Crews ended up being a day late, without contacting XX. When the crews showed up XX was to pay 50% of the remaining balance. (payable by: personal check, credit card, cashier check, money order or cash) The office wouldn’t let XX pay with his American Express card. They told me that we can accept other forms of payment just not American express. The delivery date was late and the crews didn’t finish unloading until 5 am. Boost Express Van Lines, in my opinion, handled this with deceptive business practice, hostage situation with his move (waited until part of the truck was loaded to inform him they wouldn’t accept payment with American Express card), breached his contract in several ways and practiced very bad and illegal business.

Do Not Use This Company.

A one day move turned into three due to unfulfilled commitment of providing 4 workers. Two showed up at noon and the driver left. They only worked 7 hours. We allowed ample time for us to be able to clean the house and make sure everything was squared away before leaving to airport two days later. However the packing and loading took three half worked days. This forced us to leave to airport at 4pm without being able to hold them accountable for loading everything(I verbally had the conversation before we left). The next day realtor stopped by to look at house, and immediately called us as TRASH was left around our entire house including tape, boxes, drink containers, empty tape rolls and even banana peels on our hardwood floors. They left many items behind to which we now need to repurchase. We had to pay someone to clean up all the garbage and remove all items left behind as our house was going up for sale.still waiting for delivery 9 days later as they apparently didn’t need a bigger truck as they are off picking up other loads and intentionally delaying our move.

Fantastic Job!!

I had such a great experience with Boost Express Van Lines. I needed to plan a move from Chicago IL to Brooklyn NY in less than two weeks. Lilly replied to my inquiry quickly, and did every time I sent a message. I thought the flat rate was very fair. The crew with Eugene and Pablo were amazing in quickly emptying out my old apartment and filling the new one in a 24-hour period. They took apart and rebuilt some furniture that was too big to fit in tighter spaces. This was much appreciated!

Some boxes that belonged to my old roommate from Chicago accidentally came down on the move, and Pablo graciously offered to bring them back up and deliver them to her, which was nice of him to do.

I did encounter one issue. While unpacking a neon lamp was broken, I made a call to Stacy from customer service, and they offered to pay for the broken item. A check came in the mail a few days later.

I really appreciate Boost Express Van lines team's effort and help in making a stressful part of a long-distance move into a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend!

Good service.

Last April I’ve decided to hire Boost Express van lines and asked for the price estimate for my relocation from Main to NJ. I had so many questions about their process. They willingly answered all of them on the spot. I must confess they have a brilliant customer service. The date that worked for them wasn’t convenient for me but I agreed and asked them to be on time. For my surprise, the crew of four arrived with all their supporting tools at least half an hour early. As I was not expecting them so early, but I opened the door and allowed them working. I can remember the weather was very poor but despite having so many impediments, they reached to deliver with hundred percent accurate orders. Their service is truly appreciated. I highly recommend Boost Express Van Lines and their costumer service is awesome! Moved from 2bedroom apt into 3 bedroom townhouse.

Long-distance move from Ohio to California

Do Not do Any Business With This Company.

How long do you think moving stuff from OH to CA take? A month, two months?

I had to relocate from OH to CA in 3 weeks and I have a piano, which I want to keep it. So, I decided to hire a moving company to help. However, the first moving company cancelled me 2 weeks before the moving date. I had to find a new mover in a rush. I found Pricing Van Lines (PVL), which got decent reviews, so I signed a contract with them and paid $1,149.94 for deposit. PVL scheduled the pick-up date on June 25 and the delivery date was June 30.

What I did not know is - PVL is just a broker company, they did not do the job themselves. They hire a subcontractor to do the job for them. I did not realized until the subcontractor showed up. The subcontractor who did the actual moving stuff was Boost Express Van Lines (BEVL). BEVL packed up my stuffs and loaded them on their truck. The first estimate was6 $6,840. After they finished packing my stuff, they told me the final was $9,182.57. They asked me to signed 2 checks $2,845.20 and $2,593.49. I had to pay another $2,593.49 on the delivery date. They also demanded tipping. I am a single woman, felt insecure, so I gave them $200 on the pick-up date.

The delivery was not done on June 30 as PVL promised. I called both companies 2-3 times every weeks since July 8. To some certain points, both companies hung up on me. I cannot contact any of them, so I decided to file complaints on BBB against both of them on Aug 17. They then started to answer my call again. BEVL lied to me every Mon that my stuff was loaded in a truck and it was on its way, I could expected it between the coming Fri-Sun. This was absolutely lying that I had to listen every single week. I decided to filed complaints against BEVL on every organization which I could think of, to their city Mayer, the police department in their town, NJ State general attorney for consumer affairs. Some of them contacted me back but they cannot help me. It was sad that they allowed this company feed on blood, sweat and tears from other innocent people who work hard.

I am alone in a new place with 2 senior cats to take care, I have no family which I can get any support. I spent my entire budget on relocation and I cannot afford buying new stuff. I had slept on a floor with a blanket and a pillow for more than 2 months. I had no light in my apartment except kitchen and restroom. This was very difficult and depressing. It ruined my day every time I had to talk to them. Even though PVL try to help but they cannot do much since my stuff was with BEVL.

The actual delivery date was Mon, Aug 26. They came with semi truck and asked me to pay another $475 to rent a Uhaul. At that point, I wanted to get my stuff, so I agreed to pay. When they came back with Uhual. They demanded me to pay more beside $475+2,394 (they gave me $300 discount for late delivery) that I have to pay. I decided to call my friend and police. My apartment manager came to help. They finally unloaded my stuff but refuse to carry piano to my apartment. The contract I signed with PVL state the piano handling fee $250, which I already paid. They told me that I filed complaints against them, so they would not carry it. My friends finally persuaded the delivery guys to carry it to my apartment. There was lost and damage on my stuff. My bed end was cracked, my dresser was damaged, my standing fan was broken and my bookshelves was missing.

I do not want anybody to go through this pain like me. My genuine suggestion to everybody who has to relocate is donate or sale everything you have, keep your relocation budget and buy the new stuff for your new places, start new life with new stuff. Do not repeat my mistake. If you really have to use the moving company, make sure they do the move themselves. You should have written contact on the agreement on late delivery compensation. Please make sure that you have a moving insurance.

Long-distance move from Eden Prairie, MN to Hutto, TX

Hands down the WORST moving experience of my life.

Moving 700 sq ft of furniture from MN to TX. Pickup was scheduled for a Wednesday, they finally arrived Saturday to then take almost 8 hours to pack and load the truck. I left my house in MN that afternoon and arrived in TX Sunday afternoon. It is now Friday, and I don't even have a scheduled delivery date. I've been living on an inflatable mattress that I luckily brought with me. To top everything off, the final price was $1000 more than originally quoted. I wish there was a way to rate less than 0 stars. I would have gladly paid double what I did to another company that could provide better customer service and estimates. DO NOT USE. EVER.

Long-distance move from Morgantown, WV to Plano, TX

LIARS that show no remorse.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! -100 stars! Better yet..-1,000,000 stars! The movers picked our stuff up on July 25th and said we would have it on August 3rd..It is August 20 and they still do not have a route lined up! We called today to see the status and nothing. This company is hot garbage and should be ashamed to even call themselves a business. We were underestimated by almost $2,500.00, we were expecting a large truck to pick up our stuff and instead a smaller truck showed up and said it would be an additional $500.00, and there is no remorse! ZERO! These people DO NOT CARE! They just want your business. We have been fighting with them for weeks now and all they can say is “We have no update..” it is now August 27 and JOHN said we were to be loaded 3 days ago and when we called today there was no update. This company has had our belongings for OVER A MONTH now and I would not be surprised if our stuff is being sold on the black market..
