Long-distance move from Cleveland, OH to Staten Island, NY

Very professional and accommodating company Boost Express!

I was able to easily order boxes and moving materials by email and was received within one to two business days for reasonable prices. There were no hidden fees and travel, gas, and furniture wrapping were all included. The team was great and professional. Costumer service was online all the time. They did a fantastic job and treated our items with care. I definitely recommend Boost Express Van Lines for fantastic communication and professionalism at a reasonable price!

Long-distance move from Old Town, ME to East Brunswick, NJ

Good service.

Last April I’ve decided to hire Boost Express van lines and asked for the price estimate for my relocation from Main to NJ. I had so many questions about their process. They willingly answered all of them on the spot. I must confess they have a brilliant customer service. The date that worked for them wasn’t convenient for me but I agreed and asked them to be on time. For my surprise, the crew of four arrived with all their supporting tools at least half an hour early. As I was not expecting them so early, but I opened the door and allowed them working. I can remember the weather was very poor but despite having so many impediments, they reached to deliver with hundred percent accurate orders. Their service is truly appreciated. I highly recommend Boost Express Van Lines and their costumer service is awesome! Moved from 2bedroom apt into 3 bedroom townhouse.
Estimate cost 3577$, final price 3730,

Long-distance move from Eden Prairie, MN to Hutto, TX

Hands down the WORST moving experience of my life.

Moving 700 sq ft of furniture from MN to TX. Pickup was scheduled for a Wednesday, they finally arrived Saturday to then take almost 8 hours to pack and load the truck. I left my house in MN that afternoon and arrived in TX Sunday afternoon. It is now Friday, and I don't even have a scheduled delivery date. I've been living on an inflatable mattress that I luckily brought with me. To top everything off, the final price was $1000 more than originally quoted. I wish there was a way to rate less than 0 stars. I would have gladly paid double what I did to another company that could provide better customer service and estimates. DO NOT USE. EVER.

Long-distance move from Morgantown, WV to Plano, TX

LIARS that show no remorse.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! -100 stars! Better yet..-1,000,000 stars! The movers picked our stuff up on July 25th and said we would have it on August 3rd..It is August 20 and they still do not have a route lined up! We called today to see the status and nothing. This company is hot garbage and should be ashamed to even call themselves a business. We were underestimated by almost $2,500.00, we were expecting a large truck to pick up our stuff and instead a smaller truck showed up and said it would be an additional $500.00, and there is no remorse! ZERO! These people DO NOT CARE! They just want your business. We have been fighting with them for weeks now and all they can say is “We have no update..” it is now August 27 and JOHN said we were to be loaded 3 days ago and when we called today there was no update. This company has had our belongings for OVER A MONTH now and I would not be surprised if our stuff is being sold on the black market..

Long-distance move from Ohio to California

Do Not do Any Business With This Company.

How long do you think moving stuff from OH to CA take? A month, two months?

I had to relocate from OH to CA in 3 weeks and I have a piano, which I want to keep it. So, I decided to hire a moving company to help. However, the first moving company cancelled me 2 weeks before the moving date. I had to find a new mover in a rush. I found Pricing Van Lines (PVL), which got decent reviews, so I signed a contract with them and paid $1,149.94 for deposit. PVL scheduled the pick-up date on June 25 and the delivery date was June 30.

What I did not know is - PVL is just a broker company, they did not do the job themselves. They hire a subcontractor to do the job for them. I did not realized until the subcontractor showed up. The subcontractor who did the actual moving stuff was Boost Express Van Lines (BEVL). BEVL packed up my stuffs and loaded them on their truck. The first estimate was6 $6,840. After they finished packing my stuff, they told me the final was $9,182.57. They asked me to signed 2 checks $2,845.20 and $2,593.49. I had to pay another $2,593.49 on the delivery date. They also demanded tipping. I am a single woman, felt insecure, so I gave them $200 on the pick-up date.

The delivery was not done on June 30 as PVL promised. I called both companies 2-3 times every weeks since July 8. To some certain points, both companies hung up on me. I cannot contact any of them, so I decided to file complaints on BBB against both of them on Aug 17. They then started to answer my call again. BEVL lied to me every Mon that my stuff was loaded in a truck and it was on its way, I could expected it between the coming Fri-Sun. This was absolutely lying that I had to listen every single week. I decided to filed complaints against BEVL on every organization which I could think of, to their city Mayer, the police department in their town, NJ State general attorney for consumer affairs. Some of them contacted me back but they cannot help me. It was sad that they allowed this company feed on blood, sweat and tears from other innocent people who work hard.

I am alone in a new place with 2 senior cats to take care, I have no family which I can get any support. I spent my entire budget on relocation and I cannot afford buying new stuff. I had slept on a floor with a blanket and a pillow for more than 2 months. I had no light in my apartment except kitchen and restroom. This was very difficult and depressing. It ruined my day every time I had to talk to them. Even though PVL try to help but they cannot do much since my stuff was with BEVL.

The actual delivery date was Mon, Aug 26. They came with semi truck and asked me to pay another $475 to rent a Uhaul. At that point, I wanted to get my stuff, so I agreed to pay. When they came back with Uhual. They demanded me to pay more beside $475+2,394 (they gave me $300 discount for late delivery) that I have to pay. I decided to call my friend and police. My apartment manager came to help. They finally unloaded my stuff but refuse to carry piano to my apartment. The contract I signed with PVL state the piano handling fee $250, which I already paid. They told me that I filed complaints against them, so they would not carry it. My friends finally persuaded the delivery guys to carry it to my apartment. There was lost and damage on my stuff. My bed end was cracked, my dresser was damaged, my standing fan was broken and my bookshelves was missing.

I do not want anybody to go through this pain like me. My genuine suggestion to everybody who has to relocate is donate or sale everything you have, keep your relocation budget and buy the new stuff for your new places, start new life with new stuff. Do not repeat my mistake. If you really have to use the moving company, make sure they do the move themselves. You should have written contact on the agreement on late delivery compensation. Please make sure that you have a moving insurance.

Scumbag Movers would be more apt.

This company works in tandem with Quality Express Van Lines. Quality Express pretends they are a mover when they are a broker. Boost shows up very late. 8-9 pm for my pickup, when I was told 11-2. My drop off was Nov 8th and today is the 25th and I'm still sitting with nothing. The company obviously doesn't care, they have their money. DO NOT USE EITHER Quality Express or Boost Express. If a salesman named Robert Kraft contacts you, hang up your phone. He will lie to you about your estimate just to get your deposit. Telling people they will be charged by weight only to have Boost show up acting completely clueless and charging by cubic foot. Then after gouging you on charges, they ask for a tip. No Class, No Quality, No Humanity just a scam company looking to hurt as many people as it can to make a quick buck.

Worst Mover Ever.

If you value your personal goods, DON'T USE BOOST EXPRESS VAN LINES.

They don't pay any attention to time schedules. They were either extremely late or no shows for both pickup and delivery.

They broke or damaged almost every piece of my furniture. Every item they packed was broken or damaged in some way. In contrast, every item we packed ourselves came through the move undamaged.

It was apparent that our goods sustained water and mud damage while they were in storage. Our goods sustained insect and rodent damage, again, while they were in storage. We also received goods that belonged to someone else, though they were thrown into a box, along with our water soaked apparel and footwear.

When contacted by phone and by letter, Boost's response was non-existent. That pretty much says everything about their commitment to customer service. There is none. They took their money (over $11,000) and ran.

Based on the damage we encountered, Boost employees have no respect for any goods placed in their care.

In short, BEWARE of Boost Express VAN Lines and Storage. You can do much better with your move. With Boost, I doubt you can do any worse.

Long-distance move from Wheeling, IL to Hillsboro, OR

Need to sue them.

Worst expirience ever. They move my belonunings 2 and a half month!! They give you "discount" of 800$ that will go away right after loading.
they promises to deliver in 30 business days that is 6 weeks after it they have in contract 30$ a day penalty. After 26 days of delay after this 6 weeks they give me a discount of 480$ that is 300 less that they should.
Wish me good luck in the court with them.

Incompetant.

These guys are terrible.Iinitiallyconrracted with MainMoving, who claimed NOT to be a broker. Much to my surprise, Boost express showed up with my rental contract being sold to them by Main Moving. They upped the charge by 20%, proceeded to create over $10,000 of damage to my belongings. And, true to form, refused to offer any compensation. The delivery team was late arriving, unkind, surly and not caring at all. DO NOT USE THEM. DO NOT TRUST MAIN MOVING EITHER- they lie to get your business and then cast you to the wolves of louscarriers. (FYI Main Moving has been banned from this site. That should say something about them).

Long-distance move from Madison, WI to New York, NY

Late Delivery, Hidden Costs.

To be honest (outside of the delivery crew), I was not happy with this experience at all. There was a miscommunication from the start between the price I was quoted and additional charges that were specified from your company.

Though my location and 4th floor walk up was disclosed before I received my quote, I found out at delivery that there was an additional charge for having to transfer my items to a different truck because of where I was located in NYC, and that there would be additional charges for each flight of stairs.

In an effort to get clarification on this, I reached out to Steve from Quality Express Vans - they took my initial order for service - Boost is who it was transferred to) . Once my initial deposit payment was made, I never received a response from Quality Express Vans again. It is clear that once they received payment and secured my business, there was no effort to continue customer service of any kind. Though I know you are a separate entity from them, I hope you can understand that this was the first of my negative experiences.

We initially asked for a 2/20 or 2/21 delivery date. Though I understand a specific date cannot by guaranteed, I was informed that it "shouldn't" be a problem. When I was informed that delivery would not occur until 2/24 or 2/25, I was disappointed but understood. Then I received a call on Monday stating that the delivery would be arriving on 2/25. I took off work and sat in an empty apartment all day waiting for this delivery. I received a call late afternoon that it would be 2-3 more days. I expressed my disappointment in this over the phone.

I was told multiple times (for both expected delivery dates), that the driver would call when they were close. On 2/26 and 2/27, I received a call stating that the driver would call when they were near my apartment. I even clarified this on the 2/27 call and was asked how much advance notice I would want. I asked for 30 minutes, which would allow me to tend to a work matter and get to the apartment in time. When the driver called, they were at the apartment. He stated that he never received the instruction to call beforehand.

Because of the poor service, it cost me multiple additional nights in a hotel room, as well as additional days off of work. I have used moving companies multiple times and have never encountered these issues before. Sadly, I will not be using your services again.

I would like to make it clear that I have nothing but positive things to say about the driver and delivery crew - they were great and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the rest of my experience.
