This was the first time that I had ever had to hire a removals company, and I can honestly say that I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. I had initially rung several removal companies for comparison, and Best Rate Removals and Storage immediately stood out as being very different from the rest. Unlike the other firms, which all sounded polite enough yet somewhat indifferent, Best Rate took a notable personal interest in my call from the very start. Their representative listened patiently and carefully to my removal needs, and, to my very pleasant surprise, he then spent time discussing various options with me, in a clear attempt to find me the most affordable and convenient service to suit my needs. Despite the time that he spent talking to me, at no point did I feel under any pressure or obligation to sign up with the company; he simply offered guidance as to which option would be best for me (and he did, of course, end up being correct ;)), and he always made himself available for me to call back with any further questions that I had (I did end up calling him back several times, and he was just as patient and helpful on each occasion). I really appreciated this approach, and found it to be a refreshing change from the somewhat pressurizing and hard-sell attitude of so many other companies.

When it came to the day of the removal itself, I was rather anxious as to what to expect, as, despite my positive experience with the company so far, I had heard several horror stories from friends about many of their goods having been severely damaged by sloppy and careless removal men over the years. To my relief, however, my fears proved to be completely unfounded. Four removal men attended in total over two days, each of whom I can genuinely say was highly professional, respectful, polite and friendly. They all took great care in their work, and worked continuously and efficiently throughout.

When we arrived at the storage centre, they unloaded the items quickly and carefully, and arranged them all neatly and methodically within the lock-up, ensuring that they made the best possible use of all available space. There were no problems at any point, and no items were damaged; It was therefore a highly commendable job from start to finish.

I am not someone who tends to be easily impressed, so the fat that this company has earned such a great review really does say something. They are highly professional, approachable, reliable and helpful, and have a very impressive work ethic. I would therefore have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Best Rate to anyone looking for a first-rate removal company.

From our initial online search, Best Rate Removals was one of the 4 that came up for our area. When we rang they discussed our needs and gave a quote, immediately confirmed by email, which clearly showed how their very reasonable costings were based so that there were no surprises with the final bill. Other firms quoted considerably more or made things look more complicated. The subsequent booking arrangements were very straight forward and any queries we had were easily clarified with a simple phone call. Packing materials were delivered promptly. On moving day itself the 2 men were extremely hard-working, professionally efficient and pleasantly good humoured. They were clear about what we should and should not do and were careful with our possessions. Even at the end of a long day they took care to reassemble things properly at the new property so that it began to feel like home straight away..
Based on our positive experience we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone - not just because they were 'Best Rate' but also because of the great service they provided.

I used Best Rate Removals when moving all the way from Hanger Lane to South East London. It was flawless and a stress free experience. Not only they helped with the move, but joined me all the way to IKEA, to pick up some furniture.
I also used their storage a few months ago. I was surprised to discover that there was not a spot of dust or damage to any of the boxes.
The three words to describe them are: Trustworthy, Reliable and Punctual.
I would not hesitate to recommend them for a second, all of my friends are using them now.

This is the third time I have engaged the removal service of this firm on. From the sales team to the removal staff; all are very professional. Highly reliable, courteous, clean, polite, lot of respect, careful with items, any instructions given are respected, very good communication level. Cost of removal was as quoted. Moved from one sheltered accommodation to another. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO NEED TO MOVE FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER. Excellent Service.

I used many removal companies before, but from now on I will use only this one (they are not paying me to write this reviev :) ). The guys were fantastic.
They did their job without: complaining, swearing, damaging my stuff, and figuring out for hours how to do it.
They were: inteligent, nice, polite, extremely well organized, carefull, considerate and clean.
They not only organized themselves, but also helped me to organize my moving homes. They even thought about where to place my boxes and furniture (they payed lots of attention to details, which I am not good at).
The rate was really the best I could get, and I was charged for the job done, no extra costs.
I didn't know that removal company guys can be THAT PROFESSIONAL.

We needed a couple of strong and reliaible guys and a van to help us prepare our house for sale. A van load to go into storage, including dismantling sofa and desk and some other items of furniture along with 25 boxes and numerous smaller items.And then moving beds from one floor to another and re-assembllng. The guys arrived right on time and completed the job without any fuss or bother within the allotted timeframe. They were courteous and professional and I would certainly reccomend them.

Ad experience unfortunately. JP was helpful. Removal guys were very good packing up at the old flat. Their removal van left 10 mins before my taxi to get to the new flat. They got to the new flat 40 mins AFTER my taxi. I had to call the office twice to find out where they were! Then they waited 20 mins in their van for another removal to finish instead of bringing stuff up one flight of stairs. Then charged me for an extra hour. I said this was unreasonable but they wouldn’t listen. I offered to pay half the extra fee but the manager wouldn’t listen. Dampened what should have been a great day. They left a pane of glass in the van and I haven’t got it back. Would never use this company again.

Needed to move my 4bed house, with a short notice, after my original removal company let me down 3 days before my move, lucky I got quotes from few companies. Those guys got the whole thing going in no time, turned one of the more stressful days of my life in to one of the most pleasant experiences I had using a removal company.
Overall I am happy I went with them in the end , after my wife chose the cheapest quote to begin with , that just turned us down because they underestimated how big our move was , those guys were still not the most expensive of the 4 quotes I got , but definitely worth it, everyone in the office knew what was going g on the whole time , end our movers were very helpful all day long.
Already recommend them to my sister who is also moving to Bristol next year, she lives in Stansted and they are still able to do the job, even though they are London based.
100% recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality service.would give them 6 stars on this review if I could.
