Rip Off Company.

I'm going to moan now, on the 24th May I purchased a Motor Bike off ebay, then I looked for a courier, I googled courier it and came across Any Van . com looking at there home page it displays everyone Logo Gumtree - Preloved - Zoopa and says they are in partnership are they really ? leading me to think somewhere along the line you must have a association with them of some kind.
hope I’m wrong, on any-vans website price started at £75 I took
the £79 which covered insurance and 3 day economy collection and
delivery I was in no hurry so I called up and paid the £79 Well
they have been the nightmare from hell, no communication at all, the only time I spoke to them was when I called and in total some 7hrs 21 mins of calls 103 calls to any-van they pass the buck they go through the same security questions again and again then you get cut off, then they just hang up it was the most stressful thing I have ever that to deal with, then in the end what was the real problem ? they had quoted the price to cheap so they where unable to find a subcontractor to do the job. what a joke, so they quote cheap work get you tied in by payment, then they cannot do the job unless you pay them more money ! ! ! - scam scam scam they hide behind saying you cannot ecutalet it the CEO as he does not deal with things like this, they even explained which was very very kind of them that I cannot go to trading standards as I agreed to there terms and condition These poor people who are employed to fire the bullets for the 'Gods' of this world any-van . Com should be ashamed that they are running such a business. I run pubs, I do sell my beers and cask ale and lager for £2.45 a pint happy days, if any one of you came in my bar saw the sign and it is
massive say all pints of cask ale and lager for £2.45 including
cider, you ordered 3 pints expecting to pay £7.35 and I asked you
for £9 or say £3 a pint or £10.50 say £3.50 you would rip me to
pieces and rightly so I paid £79 bought and paid for and then effectively black mailed pushed into a corner say what you like but then had to pay another £30 to get the job done. because they under stated the price. Try Tesco's they would swallow and just say this is not good practice so we will pay the difference no Any-van . Com I hope and I say this very reluctantly no-van .com no business .com they are cheats and I hope one day someone big enough can challenge there methods of business practices in the courts.Now I have that off my chest, it has transpired that they did not need me to give them my card details for payment as they had saved them – very scary are they allowed to do this ? This is one of those times when it sounds too good to be true and well it
was, the have had me and I never thought anybody would do that but they did.
I suppose we could say there plenty of people far worse off than me so
maybe I should just keep my gob shut. I'm still very unhappy.

Anyvan worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing.

I booked a simple collection of an armchair & footstool with a specific time slot (1-2pm). I get a phone call at 13:45 advising me that the driver will now not be able to attend until 5pm. No apology. They did not even offer my money back. If you need a professional organisation,do yourself a favour please do not use these cowboys!

Good service.

Anyvan have been used a number of times now and always delivered, metaphorically and literally, however there are number of glitches that can confuse; such as, the wrong driver details sent or contractors cancelling jobs at the last minute. Despite these the team come through in the end and the actual movers are spot on.

AnyVan.

They offer a quote, I accepted it (therefore could not accept any other quote) ,I booked and paid and a few hours before the moving I still have no news about the driver, time .. I have spent the whole day emailing, chating and phoning them, and all they told me was to wait. then in the evening when it was too late for me to find any other option, they admitted they might not be able to do it after all.. I am still waiting but it is the worst removal experience (amongst many) of my life.

This is a low quality "uber imitation" for men with vans.

Watch out, or book a regular moving company.
These guys will confirm the order - it will look great, with a proper quote in writing sent to you.
once they show up, there will be something wrong - an extra set of stairs, the parking space is too far to the side, need to use an elevator (or stairs), extra weight, etc - use your imagination.
they will pick up the goods and then their secretary will call and say that unless you pay an extra amount, the goods will be left on the sidewalk..
In the end, you will have unskilled freelancing people with vans, without insurance, moving your goods at the same price as a professional moving firm would.
Never again!!

They damaged my goods, they charged me more, they offered no compensation, they didn't even follow my instructions they agreed to. Not sure what I paid for really. They even delivered my items in a dirty state. Avoid them at all costs!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE & CUSTOMER SERVICE IF I COUND GIVE THIS
COMPANY 0 STARTS I WOULD. I BOOKED 2 REMOVAL MEN TO HELP ME MOVE FROM
ONE PART OF LONDON TO ANOTHER, ON SATURDAY 24TH AUGUST. MY 2 HOUR WINDOW
WAS 12-2. AT 1PM I WAS CALLED BY WHO I ASSUME TO BE THE DRIVER TELLING
ME THAT 1 DRIVER WOULD BE ARRVING AT 245 AND THE OTHER 330PM. I
EXPLAINED THAT I BOOKED 2 PEOPLE AS I HAD A LOT OF STUFF AND SO I NEEDED
THEM TO COME AT THE SAME TIME. I ALSO HAD TO PICK MY KEYS UP BY 5PM. I
WAS ADVISED THAT 1 PERSON WOULD BE THERE BY 245. AT 215 I RECEIEVED A
PHONE CALL SAYING THAT THE DRIVER WOULD BE THERE AT 330. AT 330 I WAS
TOLD 4PM.. YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW THIS GOES. BY 4PM THE DRIVER WAS NOT EVEN
CLOSE, BUT RATHER IN REDHILL ( I WAS LIVIGN IN NORTH LONDON). PLEASE
EXPLAIN TO ME WHY AND HOW A DRIVER THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN NORTH
LONDON BETWEEN 12-2PM WAS IN REDHILL AT 4PM? ALSO PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME
WHY WHEN CLEARLY THIS COMPANY HAD NOT FOUND A DRIVER FOR ME THEY WERE
NOT HONEST ENOUGH TO GIVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO CANCEL IN THE MORNING/
MAKE NEW ARRANGEMENTS? MUST BE GREED. IN THE END AT 415 I CANCELLED MY
SERVICE AND HAD TO MOVE ALL MY BELONGINGS MYSELF IN AN ADDISON LEE
COURIER VAN. THEY REFUNDED ME MY MONEY (THE LEAST THEY COULD DO AFTER I
REJECTED THEIR OFFER OF £41 OFF MY BILL (£136)) BUT I WAS UNABLE TO GET
ALL MY PROPERTY INTO THE ADDISON LEE VAN. NAMELY A BIG MIRROR. I HAVE
JUST PHONED THE CUSTORMER SERVICE AND HAVE BEEN FACED WITH THE MOST
OBSTRUCTIVE AND PETULENT ADVISOR SAYING THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO AND
THAT I COULD SPEAK TO A MANAGER BUT THEY WOULD SAY THE SAME THING SO
THEY COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHY I WOULD WANT TO. I AM BEYOND SICK TO DEALTH
OF COMPANIES LIKE THIS BEING ABLE TO TREAT PEOPLE TERRIBLY AND
UNPROFESSIONAL OBTUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE 'ADVISORS'. PLEASE DONT USE
ANYVAN. THEY CLEARLY DO NOT VET THEIR DRIVERS, TRAIN THEIR STAFF OR CARE
ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Very poor service avoid at all cost.

I booked van to transfer house content , no communication or response from driver before the job ,on the day texted to say he will arrive 10-11 then 3-4 then he is in Brighton ( only 30 miles away) then a call from customer services 6.30 in the evening offering fulll refund as he can not make it .
Do not trust Any Van this can happen to you .

House Move.

The drivers were very helpful and efficient. Moved a lot of furniture and other items and didn't take a break until done. A pleasure to do business with them. The only downside was the online ordering , the call centre staff manged to triple some of the items to be moved.

House Move.

DON'T USE ANYVAN FOR HOUSE MOVES.
I recently moved house and whilst the removal guys were absolutely brilliant, the company wantto charge me waiting time as they had booked the guys onto another removal job before finishing mine. They wanted their guys to drop my furniture and boxes etc. off at my new front door to enable them to go to their next job!! - thankfully they didn't as the removal guys were decent.
Everyone knows when moving house, you have to wait for solicitors to be aligned with the transactions, so you are in their hands. Anyvan now want to charge me waiting time, but they can't even decide what that is, as it's gone from £40 to £60 an hour to £100!! THINK BEFORE USING ANYVAN!

I had a last minute removal and AnyVan provided a quick service including the follow up of a slight inconvenience in my part making sure I got the best quote available and very high standard. Maxivan's service was excellent, super friendly, efficient and fast. Very reliable, would recommend.
