I recently had the pleasure of working with Henry and his team, and I can honestly say they are amazing! I have never met such kind and caring individuals. They went above and beyond to help me with my move, making the entire experience stress-free.

It’s rare to come across good people who genuinely care about their clients, and Henry’s team exemplifies that. Great experience with Amex. They were assigned to us through a broker. The team was very communicative, giving us a ~45 minute heads up before arrival. The team arrived right around the beginning of the pick up window, which was super helpful.

Javier, Henry & Fready provided exceptional service. The team was professional in communication, understood instructions clearly (no repetition needed), and handled all our items with care. They were also extremely fast (despite having to deal with stairs), was able to disassemble and reassemble large and heavy furniture, and helped arrange large items at the delivery address.

Overall, I was incredibly satisfied with Amex moving & storage and specifically this crew. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone dealing with the stress of moving.

My wife and I can't say enough about Amex Moving & Storage. The front office was a pleasure to work with and the crew that was sent to move our belongings was outstanding. I never saw four young men (Henry, kendry, Javier and Vicente) work so hard as they did. They were a "machine!" The move took just under 12 hours to complete and they busted their tails to the very end. They were very knowledgeable in dismantling our electronics, beds, shelving, etc. and reassembling everything perfectly. As the crew left one of the young men said, "tell your friends about us!" We most certainly will. Thank you once again!!

Excellent Service from Javier and His Team!

I recently had the pleasure of using the moving services provided by Javier and his team, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, they demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism.

They arrived on time, which I greatly appreciated, and were incredibly organized throughout the entire process. Not only did they handle my belongings with care—ensuring that nothing was damaged—but they also maintained a clean working environment, which showed their commitment to quality.

My move was super complicated since I had to pick up furniture from different locations—a storage unit, my old house, and my parent’s garage. But this crew coordinated everything like clockwork. They gave me a clear timeline for each stop, loaded items safely, and kept a detailed inventory. At the final destination, they checked in with me about where each item should go, especially the ones from storage. I’m grateful they didn’t just dump everything in the living room. The entire multi-stop process was smooth, and I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all.

This was my second time using them, and they still deliver impeccable service. Last time was a small move, but this time I had to shift my entire two-story home. The movers came with a big truck, well-stocked with supplies, and a plan to tackle each level of my house one at a time. They helped me repack a couple of fragile boxes I hadn’t sealed well. The entire day was a whirlwind, but they kept everything organized. By evening, I was settled into my new place without any drama. Kudos to them for consistently great work.

This company pays for fake reviews and doesn’t allow any negative reviews to stay on any platform. All of their reviews are fake. I had a very bad experience with them. I usually don’t write reviews, but after seeing their ratings, I hired them now I realize all those ratings are fake.

One off their worker, Kendry, was extremely rude. Instead of working on time, he kept smoking. They broke the sides of all my furniture, and because of them, my walls are also damaged.

I will file a complaint against them with U.S. authorities. All their ratings are fake. The owner is a crazy woman she keeps insisting she’s right for no reason and doesn’t believe anything anyone says. She argued a lot with me. These people are scammers.

Move size: Commercial Move Service cost: $1600

Amex moved us from NJ to NC. Worst moving experience we ever had. They came a day later than the move was scheduled for. On the day of the move they break the news to us that it could take up to 14 days to get delivery. The cost of the move doubled the day of the move. They only sent 3 guys to pack a 5400 square foot house so it was incredibly slow. I actually had to help carry boxes otherwise, the move would have gone into another day. Once the truck is loaded, they make you sign papers saying you waive insurance for your belongings. They don’t move the truck until you waive insurance. The day before delivery they told us we may need a “shadow” truck which would be another $4000.

The business person is rude. You have to pretty much beg her for information. I called to ask her when the truck would arrive at the new house and she told me “she can’t call the truck driver and bother him because he would get mad.” I explained that they were all working for me and without me, no one was getting paid.

Painful, stressful experience. Do yourself a favor….DO NOT use Amex.

These movers helped me with a small but tricky move of just a few big pieces, like a king-size bed and a huge sectional. I was impressed with how efficiently they worked. Although there weren’t many items, each one was awkwardly heavy. They wrapped the sectional in plastic to keep the upholstery clean and took apart the bed frame in minutes. Once we arrived at my new townhouse, they reassembled everything like pros. They tested the bed frame for sturdiness before leaving. Quick, friendly, and professional—exactly what I needed.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4350

This company delivers in spades. They did an in-home estimate, gave me a written quote, and explained how the final billing would work. On moving day, they showed up right on time. Every box was labeled with the appropriate room, and they used color-coded stickers for large items. I appreciate how they updated me throughout the day—“We’re wrapping up the living room now,” or “We’ll start loading the truck in 10 minutes.” It kept me in the loop. A well-run operation from top to bottom.

These movers really saved me from a meltdown on moving day. I hadn’t finished packing, and boxes were scattered everywhere. They calmly jumped in, helped me seal boxes, and provided some extra tape and bubble wrap at no extra cost. They worked around my frantic state like it was no big deal. Once on the truck, they double-checked that nothing was rattling loose. By the time we arrived, I had finally caught my breath, and they still managed to unload everything in good time. They turned a potentially disastrous day into a decent one.

Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.
