Quick and Careful

I recently moved from Fort Lauderdale to Indianapolis, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. The movers were quick and efficient but never sacrificed the care of my belongings. They made sure everything was securely packed and handled with care, and all my items arrived at the new house in perfect condition. The price was also very reasonable for the level of service provided. Highly recommend them!

Don’t deserve 1 srar

STAY AWAY!!!!! Worst experience ever, worst company. Started off being lied to. Was charged 95.00 more because of a flight of stairs which they was told from the start. My belongings was picked up Jan 24, here it is Feb. 24 and everything I own is not here. Has cost me over 500 to replace dishes and pans and other stuff needed for everyday use. Every time I called was told it will be here next week . Was told in the beginning that it would take 4 to 10 days for the truck to get to me. I had tried canceling for medical reason which I was told I could do before signing a contract, yes I could cancel but at the cost of 750.00 . So instead of going needed treatments to fix my broken wrist I rushed up to Fl because I was told if I wasn’t here when driver came an additional charge would be made. I couldn’t afford the price to begin with . It was Jan. 24 they picked up everything I owed and here it is Feb. 24 and still being told it will be here next week. This is a Horrible Company, should not be allowed to stay in business. I wish I would have read reviews before hiring, if there was any good ones they had to be written by someone within the Company. I am hoping that after talking with management I will be compensated for the money I had to spend to buy things I shouldn’t of had to because I had plenty in the truck. This experience has been really stressful. There are things in truck that can’t be replaced. My birds have suffered because their cages are in truck so the past month they been living in small travel cages. They try and get you to sign a contract with about 6 things stated of course it’s after they started loading . One of the things was you would not complain, give bad reviews, or turn in to the BBB. And the other you wouldn’t cancel payment. I refused to sign ! I was already in the process of leaving bad reviews , and complaints because of the lies I was told. . Horrible Company! Beware! If you do chose to use they don’t mention it but it’s deep within the contract about buying extra protection is case of loss. The way it is without is their insurance will only give you 10,000 for losses.

The Worst"customer service" ever!

This company contracts out to your pick and delivery people, so your actual movers are not with who you hired. On delivery day, they decided that the truck was "too large to come to my community." They charged me an addituon $580 .

When I got upset and expressed my objections, two so-called supervisors responded with rude condecending remarks, refused to escalate my call, and provided the worst customer experience that I've ever had, in my 57 yrs of life. I believe my move was underbidded and they decided to get me on the delivery side. Quoted $3300, paid $4000.00

Both representatives were calm and professional with you, giving a thorough explanation of the charge for the "shuttle fee". If a semi is unable to access the delivery location safely, is impeding oncoming traffic, and/ or causing risk to other potential drivers/ not following standard traffic regulations, a shuttle service may be deemed necessary.

We always do everything possible to try to avoid this service as it can be quite tedious for all parties involved; however, in this case, a shuttle was required for overall safety. We apologize for this inconvenience and can see the overall cost of the shuttle service was also discounted to assist with any applicable overage. Beware!

TOTAL SCAM!!!! This company is a joke. They are brokers, so they contract out. Everything they tell you means nothing. Whatever contract you sign with them means nothing. The only thing that matters is the contract you sign with an actual moving company ( that you don't choose) and you don't sign their contract until all your things are loaded. Moved from AZ to SC, America First told us our things would be here 5 days after pick up. The actual moving company told us at pick up it would be 22 business days. At that piont, we had no other options. Also, they call two days prior for an accurate item and box count to sure up your estimate. When the moving company arrived our estimate doubled. Again we were moving and had no options. Total bate and switch.

Long-distance move from Round Rock, TX to Woonsocket, RI

Will sell your move to the worst movers!!! Beware

1) I was charged $743.74 more for alleged “extra space needed for 150cft” that wasn’t needed. I used to run dispatch for my truck driver friend on the weekends while in school. My stuff could easily fit in 300cft. I was charged for close to 800 cft. But my stuff was actually shoved into 300cft and I have pictures and video to show it

2) my furniture arrived completely beat up and destroyed

3) my furniture was indeed delivered by a company that wasn’t Jackson Movers, making the claim you’re NOT brokers a complete lie

4) was yelled at by billing person for trying to pay by calling/ emailing and texting

5) missed the 21-day mark and if I hadn’t been diligent about following up, wouldn’t have ever been on the schedule

6) rude movers who did not like me asking questions and huff and puff when I tell them where things go

7) completely destroyed my plants trying to park the truck and almost totaled my car

8) Demanded payment before even parking the truck

These are my true observations and I’ll be leaving honest reviews in all platforms with my pictures. I would not choose your company even for junk removal. Not to mention I was told I’d have a weekend delivery with a 48-hour heads up and I was given less than 24hours notice from an unknown caller who said my delivery would be 3 to 5 the next day. They showed up at 5:12 and started ordering me to pay and lock my 2 small and friendly dogs in a restroom. Delivery people completely destroyed and textured my newly installed flooring and scratched and stained my newly painted walls. One was on his phone the whole time while the other snapped “no” for every answer.
