American Eagle Moving Company

I chose this moving company based on the original moving quote of $3109.60 provided to me via email on 01/04/18. I provided inventory to Jeff, whom said this quote would more than cover any additional items added. Also paid non-refundable deposit of 1088.60.

On 1/09/18 moving company confirmed the movers would expect to arrive between 3-5 pm on 1/11/18. Then because my (x-boyfriend) works second shift, I was forced to rent u-haul for the day and pay his movers the morning of the move to get all my items out of the house, to protect what they could in the u-haul in the event it rained/snow, while few things were in the driveway covered.

2 of 4 movers hired via American Eagle arrived via truck (M.A.D. Movers LLC out of Ft Lauderdale FL. USDot #2447719) they saw the u-haul and few things in the driveway and questioned me about the price saying they could take what is in the u-haul or what was in the driveway as taking everything would increase another $6,000.I explained how is that when I moved up to Ohio in a 26’ trailer that was not even 2/3 full for 3k. They replied it would cost additional $6k vs $3k due to square footage. This does not make sense when I was already leaving new washer & dryer and 2 large garage shelvies and 6 plant pots. I was in shock and contacted Jeff Monroe as well as his dispatch team and supervisor to get this resolved. However, I could not get any answer or resolution to why my quote more than doubled. **US Movers did me justice in moving to Ohio and would had used them if I was not rushed to get moved out sooner.

Major problem was I was told be 3-4 movers when only 2 arrived. Then these 2 movers bundled and re-taped every box including my hard plastic storage containers. The way they blanket-wrap all the furniture using double the padding is how they manipulated the sq. ft. preventing them from packing all compact. This load (minus 2 large stackable shelves and front-loading washer and dryer I left) and they still filled their trailer. While they were loading and stacking I could see items were packed and stacked in a way that there was ample wasted space. Meaning that is why contents for a 2BD house with garage filled a trailer. That is showing how they scam people. I even checked reviews after the fact to find I am not the only one to be taken advantage of by this company and the movers they use. I am notorious for checking reviews but was in a serious situation to get away from a verbally abusive, insecure x-boyfriend. Plus they added $300 for packing materials. Over $7200

I moved back to Oklahoma on 1/12 to find my items were taken to their Warehouse in Indiana as they do not have any place closer in Oklahoma + I am having to pay the balance of $3311.64 upon delivery. So once I received the funds on 1/26, I called and spoke to Kevin and arranged for delivery stating informing me that could get my items to arrive between 1/30 – 2/8/17. I requested updates of any changes – however I will go a week without any answer – so I consistently call 2-3 times per week. As of 2/5 – trailer not reloaded - - they hope to get loaded by end of this week 2/9. Still no update as of 2/09/18. They are to keep me posted but it’s alreaty going on 3 weeks and appears no sense of urgency in getting answers.

Worst moving experience of all time. Third load finally delivered today, over 2 months late. Our goods were moved cross country in 3 box trucks rather than a 53' trailer and furniture was poorly packed resulting in major damage to wood pieces, many items non repairable and require replacing. Tape placed directly on fine artwork frames, crushed lamp shades, books thrown on top of furniture in boxes etc. Total disregard for what they were packing and moving. We went through a broker and this was the mover assigned to us, we did not select them. I do not recommend this mover under any circumstances.

He And I Spoke On The Phone And I Provided An Inventory Of What I’m Moving The Estimate Came Out To 1200cf . I Wanted To Shop Around Some More After I Got The Quote From William Just To Weight Out My Options But Quickly Realized American Eagle Moving Was The Best Price For A Professional Mover And I Decided There Was No Need To Look Any Further . The One Piece Of Advice That I Have For Anyone Moving Is Please Don’t Go With A Broker ! You Will End Up Paying Double Your Quote.

I Received A Call 24 Hours Prior To Pick Up And Was Informed Movers Will Show Up 9-11am The Next Day. On Pick Up Day I Was A Bit Nervous Because I Looked Through My Inventory And I Had Some Items That I Forgot To Mention To William On The Original Quote . The Driver Kenny Called Me When He Was 1 Hour Away And I Told Him About My Extra Items And He Said Is Not A Problem And That They Will Adjust It On Site . To Be Honest I Was Expecting The Price To Go Up Dramatically But The Sales Rep William Did Such A Good Job Off Overestimating My Job That I Only Had To Pay An Additional 200$ For An Extra Dresser And 10 Extra Boxes And 4 Chairs . I Was Extremely Happy About That And I Called William To Thank Him For Doing Such A
Great Job.

Finally For Delivery I Was Waiting On My House To Close So I Had Been Offered 30 Days Of Free Storage . I Made An Agreement With Robert The Dispatcher For Me To Call Him 7 Days Prior To Me Being Available To Receive My Goods And That He Will Have Them There When I Request It . I Called Him On On 1/04/18 And My Goods Arrives On 1/12/18. All In All My Experience With American Eagle Was Very Pleasant And Professional. I Truly Recommend Anyone That Is Moving Especially If It’s YouR First Time To Use This Company. They Walk You Though Everything Step By Step And Are Always Willing To Make Changes To Accommodate The Customer .

I reached out to American Eagle moving on very short notice. My jobs sprung a last minute relocation and friends of mine told me to look at this review site. After scrolling through numerous companies I found American Eagle. The reps were very quick to get back to me and we were very detailed in putting together a quote. We went back and forth probably close to 10 times and I felt we had covered every aspect of the move in great detail. The movers were on time my furniture left and arrived safely and I don't have a single complaint. There's a lot of horror stories out there when it comes to moving do not waste your time contact these guys.

Moving across country stressful, thankfully I came across American eagle moving. I have a lot of sentimental items, and they took the time to create several items for me, they wrapped all of my other furniture. My reservation specialist took the time to listen to me explain these items to them, went over every aspect of the move, how was going to go from start to finish. I lived in a hard to access neighborhood, and I had additional pick up from the storage unit. They made it incredibly easy, as they offered a shuttle service and three additional pick up. Upon move day the movers came in with all of the proper material, made each crate on the spot. I have never been more satisfied with any service that I have ever purchased. The only gray area that I have is the movers were an hour so late upon pick up, but that’s to be expected, as when they got here they really did great work. In the end I would absolutely recommend American Eagle to any friends and family. In the end I couldn’t expect A better first move.

Interstate move from Michigan to Nevada
This company is a SCAM!! They give you a low bid so you will use them and after they have your items in their possession they send you a quote that triples the amount and threaten you to pay them. My bill went from $3375.00 to $9200.00 After they have your items for a week or so they will threaten to auction because they tripled your price. DO NOT USE THEM!! They continually change their name as well. They have only been accredited with the BBB Since 9/2017 but they have been in business fro 20 years, something doesn't sound right. They refuse to make things right when they send you quotes at lower prices. Their documents are never correct, they will not include you on any settlement agreement it is only what benefits them and the company. Everyone you talk to is a manager but they can never tell you the same story 2 times or follow through with has been said by them. They are out to ROB YOU!!

I completed my move a while back and am just now getting the time to get the review done. From the first call til the last box was unloaded the staff was fast, friendly and careful. I expected to have boxes smashed or items broken but thankfully everything made it in one piece. The office people got my pick up done in a timeline that fit my schedule and was even able to help me pick a quicker route than I had planned, less time on road (miles) saved me a few dollars and every penny counts. I have used 2 other movers in the past but am very pleased that I chose American Eagle for this move. Would highly recommend in the future!

American Eagle moving and storage that such a good job on my move this is the first move I ever had to have done with all of my belongings. It definitely was a very scary process but after going online and reading all of American Eagle moving great reviews I figured I'd give them a shot and give them a call. Moving out of Kansas City I'm going to first start by saying there wasn't a ton of movers I came across a lot of brokers getting quotes I knew right away not to go with the broker if the reading a few articles I moved before but it was over 20 years ago and it seems like a lot of the quoting techniques changed over the years. Frank told me to make sure that I received a quote based off of cubic foot in the volume for the move he didn't inventory with me over the phone and was very close to the inventory volume I received from United coming to my home and doing a in-home estimate . once I seen how on point they were with their volume without even seeing the items and United seeing them and seeing their price versus United because they're probably old company I was always I seen a bunch of great reviews and there's nothing else to think of . I had them pack up my whole home and box everything for me as well my wife is very picky LOL about her fragile knickknacks and items so we paid extra for them to bubble wrap them and put them in paper and professional moving boxes it was definitely worth it. I would recommend this move or to anyone who's looking for a long-distance move professional. American Eagle moving was not the cheapest quote but let me say something at the end of the move the price they had quoted me stay the same I really appreciate that the movers were great they made me actually want to tip them how good they helped us and how professional they work in the foreman with this communication skills throughout the whole process and explaining to me step-by-step what was going on and I could see with my own eyes . Their name definitely makes America look good LOL thanks a lot American Eagle.

American eagle moving and storage gave me a quote over the phone I receive several other "they were not the lowest but it did make sense the way they took the inventory for my move .. The gentleman came in wrapped up my whole home for me and got me to Houston within one week.. what was really nice about working with American eagle moving and storage was that anytime I had a question I call Dan and there is always someone there to help me these guys definitely are the movers for u!!

American Eagle Moving and Storage did such a great job of my move I have a lot of glass items and curio cabinets with precious family heirlooms they needed to be professionally created they came to my house bubble wrap everything for me and loaded up the, I had to move her in the past you didn't do such a great job so I was kind of skeptical about picking your company that gave me a quote over the phone I went through a full inventory of what I be taking on the trip with them and they gave me a great price it wasn't the cheapest but now I see that it was you know the real deal reviews. They picked my family's items up and delivered us to Houston and did a great job thanks a lot American Eagle Moving and Storage.

I used American Eagle to move me from Cleveland to San Diego years ago. I wanted to retire in Central Florida and wanted to use them again. I didn't know if they would have a truck so far from where they are. To my surprise, they have a hub in Los Angeles. They couldn't send someone over since it wasn't that much and it was kind of far from Los Angeles but we did it over the phone and it came out to be a little bit more space from when I moved the last time. The move went smooth. The guys were clean cut and very polite. They could have gotten there quicker than I did because I decided to drive and stop a few places along the way. They were very understanding and stored my belongings for free for twenty days. I'm now writing this from my new home in Sanford, Florida.

First off I want to say that I'm very thankful I used this company because during the research process I saw some nightmare stories that made me want to sell everything and start fresh. I was referred by my in laws to this company and I knew they were the one from the start. Instead of trying to sell me they were really just trying to inform me. They never talked bad about the competition they just gave me the right resources and information to weed out the bad companies. They gave me a binding not too exceed that did come down a little on delivery. Everything was in one piece but more importantly we were only without our furniture for only five days.

The staff was very punctual and professional. They made sure all my belongings and furniture were treated with care. American eagle moving and storage save the day I booked with another mover and the daily for the move they told me they wouldn't be able to service the job I had gotten a quote from American Eagle and actually seems to be the most knowledgeable upfront my wife wind up going with the cheaper company and look I guess that's why they couldn't do the job like American Eagle said Joe told me that they probably underestimated me and couldn't pick us up. They actually came in real close to the other quotes and now that I see the move is done that it was a real quote. The movers were very professional and help us pack up or boxes in a last-minute jam they did a great job.

I have seen American eagle moving trucks for a few years in my home state. I always like how the truck has the American flag painted on it. I had two other companies including them come out and do an estimate. Everyone was in the same range but American eagle included packing with pretty much the same price so I chose to go with them for convenience sake. I can't even pack a suitcase how was I supposed to pack all these boxes. They called me almost everyday a few days before the move I was actually talking to the driver for almost an hour the day before the move talking about Lions football. The guys came and I was just hanging out while they packed up my whole house. I told them I would give them a nice tip if they could get my stuff in New York in 3 days and they replied we can get it there in two. I wasn't going to be there in two days but they got it there in three. All in all it was a great move with a great company.

This is a fantastic company. I was very pleased with their caring and attentiveness to my needs. They are very affordable and they were very quick in the service they provided I highly recommend them to anyone whom is planning to move. They went out of their way to address issues I had. They did the job flawlessly and seemingly effortlessly. We had moved before this is by far the best moving company out there. They can't be compared to anyone else. I have been moved by the military for the last 20 years, and as you know it's not always the most pleasant experience. I was full of nerves when it was time for me to pick my own company, I had no idea what I was doing and with little insight of the moving world I was baffled. My respresentive took hours going over other contracts explaining the lingo making sure I knew the ins and outs of the industry. I was put at ease.

After we went over the inventory, I was given a price that was fair and on par with other carriers. I agreed to confirm my appointment. And everything was good to go.

On move day I was given a time window for movers to arrive (I thought I would be there waiting forever) they showed up at the very start of the window and were done very fast! I was able to grab dinner before my flight which was an unexpected blessing.

We have moved a couple times in the past but have only done it in a truck rental. We recently had twins so I didn't want my wife to drive in a car behind the truck rental. We decided to use the moving company that my old neighbors used. They did an estimate over the phone and it was only a little higher than doing it ourselves. For the convenience factor it was well worth it. They kept us in the loop the enitre time. They let us know a day before when they were going to pick up and deliver. All my furniture got here in one piece.

The guys at American Eagle Moving were there on time, within 13 days as we had agreed, and they were super helpful.
We were moving from a 2 bedroom in North Carolina, into a 1 bedroom in New York, so some of the furniture did not fit. They even helped us with the furniture that had to go to storage. Like I said.. above and beyond. And they're pretty affordable too. This whole process cost us only $4,500.
I highly recommend American Eagle Moving. The customer service is second to none.

The whole experience was wonderful. Very professional and polite they went above and beyond taking care of every aspect of our move including a very difficult refrigerator it was really heavy, They worked hard and never slowed down We were very satisfied with the services we received from your company. The crew that moved us was extremely customer friendly and concerned about our items as if they were their own. Nothing was damaged and the guys worked very well together and wasted no time getting us moved. They even offered to move the furniture again if I changed my mind . It was easy getting us scheduled I called on Tuesday and we were moved Thursday morning. We cannot say enough to let your company know that the crew was great and helped us get through a tough time and made the move enjoyable because they made us feel like we were in very safe hands and they proved it to be true!
