American Eagle Moving Company

Thank you American Eagle for helping me with my move. You moved me and my family from Delaware to Pennsylvania. Everybody I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. They walked me through the whole process. They left nothing out and every step was incredibly detailed. We exchanged emails for about a week before I decided to finalize them as my mover. The estimates they emailed were very easy to follow and all the company’s credentials and DOT info was present. I was able to select the dates that worked best for me and the price was great and well within my budget. American Eagle even offered to pack my televisions at no charge. They were straight forward and honest and very understanding. They respected my wishes and provided and excellent service. Start to finish I have no complaints.

My wife and I are entirely through the entire process with American Eagle. When we were contacted by Jenny she was very nice bend was very descriptive on what was going to happen on move date. When the mover showed up on time everything went as planned and we were not overcharged at all. I am very happy as well as my husband with the entire move from start to finish. Thank you very very much Jenny and all who work at American Eagle that made this move possible. We will highly recommend you because we both move very often with our current jobs thank you again and again to everyone at American Eagle and definitely a big thank you to Jenny.

American Eagle was fantastic. My move they handled was fantastic! First things first there was no mystery charges. The price they gave me was the price I paid. I loved the service I got everyone was so friendly I actually had fun on the phone with my sales guy. I was pushed to make a deposit or harassed with calls. He gave me my space and when I was ready I put my money down. None of my furniture was stolen and my furniture was the first stop on the route for drlivery. Never thought a move would go this good but I'm happy it did these guys tock.

American Eagle was very patient with me it was the first time I ever had to move and obviously the first time using a service. Nobody on the phone rushed me and always answered all my questions and took my calls. It was not a harassing relationship and I was never pressured to put money down. I gave my deposit when I wa ready. The movers were on time on both ends and even wrapped my TVs and glassware. I know a lot of people have bad experiences this was all good. If I had to do it again I’d make one call straight to them. I’m a satisfied customer happy to share my moving experience with American. Based on all I’ve read a lot of people also had similar experiences.

Interstate move from San Diego, CA to San Antonio, TX
I wish I could say that I had a positive experience but I have had the opposite. We hired Titan to help us move cross country and were quoted accordingly. We made three different phones calls to confirm our quote and the items on our quote. We were forced to used their item descriptions and not the descriptions of our own. When the crew arrived to pick-up our belongings before the team even stepped into the door the guy looked into our house and said, "You are not going to have enough room". This immediately caught me off guard as I had heard this is how moving fraud starts because the company knows you moving and they know you can't fight back. They were right.. I was forced to increase the cost of my move about 25% over what was quoted on the phone after exhaustive review. Things like you have a head board and foot board for your bed but you did not mention the hardware that holds the bed together and the wood slats underneath the mattress. We were also told over the phone that the movers would handle the pack unless an item was marked PBO (packed by owner).

The pickup moving team also started to point out items like TV's needed to be in TV boxes and other items that were not marked PBO needed to be packed. He referenced back to a line in the contract that said g that we had to pack all items. I asked why were told about PBO and he said that he had not seen PBO used on contracts before and that we had to pack everything on our own. So after spending $300 on packing materials for my TV's and wall pictures we were able to recover and get all the stuff on the truck. Total additional cost $731+$300 = $1031 in unexpected cost.

We were also told that it would be a matter of days until we had our belongings delivered. As of this posting it has been 15 business days and still no word on our stuff. Upon calling, byt he way you will need to call at least 20 times to get a person as seen in other posts on this forum we finally were able to reach someone in "customer service". We were told that we should not have given the movers such a hard time when picking up our stuff and that now they would deliver when they go around to it. Essentially we are being charged a penalty for rocking the boat about being charged more than the quote. They also said delivery time is an estimate and it could be a few additional months.

Luckily my insurance company (USAA - Thank you to all that have served) is amazing has started the claim process. At this point we have zero confidence we will ever see our belongings again and feel not only robbed but have lost many years of cherished memories. We suspect something has happened to all of our possessions and this company is not willing to tell us about the situation and would rather string us along so that they can keep our money. We were smart enough to take pictures of all of our belongs and should be financially compensated but will still suffer significant losses.

I would highly suggest not doing business with this company but if you do be EXTRA cautious!

American Eagle got the job done and did it well. I got a little worried at first when I called and couldn’t get through but I was understanding bring it is the busiest time of the year. It didn’t take long to realize this is a really good company. Luckily I had a few weeks to get my ducks in a row before finalizing a contract. My biggest concern in going into this was that the movers wouldn’t be on time or wouldn’t show. I was also worried once I made my deposit and committed the level of service would fall out but I was way off. My representative checked in often to make sure my items did not change or if I thought up any more questions. I was very comfortable with his level of his concern. I’m happy I worked with American they made me feel comfortable with the outside stresses of a new city and a lot of money invested. Great job.

American Eagle was hired by me for transferring all my companies equipment from NC to NJ. I currently have 15 employees and many partitions and office furniture. I considered renting a truck and relocating myself to save money but with my schedule I simply did not have the time or the resources. I spoke to the manager over at American and he told me they handle many corporate relocations. I was concerned that a mover that typically moves homes would not have the experience in this field but American did a knock out job. The movers were scheduled to come on a Monday morning and called me as they were in route. They showed up on time and immediately started breaking down the furniture. All the pieces were labled and placed in the truck very organized in a way that on the delivery end I was able to place them in the rooms I needed them. Im very pleased with how fast and swift the transition was. I would absolutely recommend them to any company looking for professional corporate relocations. As a result I was able to keep my company running and not miss a single appointment. Job well done from start to finish and I was given a great price as well as a military discount. Down to earth company that understands the value of money. 5 stars.

I would suggest everyone if they need any professional, safe, reliable mover which maintain the accurate timeline, they should hire American Eagle. Though it’s not so easy to find out a mover that really respect their clients demand but I might be very lucky to have them moved my belongings. The move was absolutely stress free. I moved from Florida to Nevada. The salesperson Michael helped me go through the moving inventory. I had so many items to move including electronics and heavy furniture. The crews knew what they were doing. There was no incident. All items were delivered intact. I was very happy and tipped them accordingly.
