I anticipated moving day being so stressful as the whole process leading up to the day was! How wrong was I... Sal could not organize the process better to make the day any easier if possible. He found the best movers, who were attentive, caring, and industrious. No breaks, no pauses, no talks. Swiftly loading our goods on and off of the vans in an efficient and professional manner. Would recommend Moving Authorities to anyone! I literally didn’t have to worry about anything!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2300

If I could give Authority Moving Experts 10 stars I would, five just isn't enough. From the quote stage to the last item placed in our new home by their contractor - the service was excellent. It was incredibly hot on the day we moved, and I was so worried the move wouldn't go ahead - but nothing stopped these guys. Kenny was controlling the movers and made sure they took care of everything we had and went the extra mile. The guys were all polite and courteous - they just made everything about the move itself easy and simple. With a bit of good humor thrown in, they were as efficient as you can be - we would never try and move by ourselves again. You pay for quality - don't hesitate about using these people - we are so glad we used them - thank you for all you did!

From the very start, Authority’s team was helpful giving the best quote by far in some cases 50% cheaper, offering boxes for packing and delivering whenever needed. Always reachable and courteous, they did all they could to make things run smoothly. On the day of moving the team, they found for us, arrived on time, and were very organized. The guys who moved us were a great bunch and went above and beyond in some cases. Moving us in at the other end was very quick and efficient with no issues. I would recommend this service to anyone, value for money, and great service.

Highly recommended!!! We contacted Authority Moving experts very last minute, and Kenny who was our coordinator was top friendly and professional. He made all possible and impossible to make the removal so much easier and stress-free. We hadn’t quite finished all of our packing and the guys Kenny assigned to our move even helped pack our final bits. Can’t believe how quickly they got everything packed in the vans. They were waiting patiently for us when we arrived at the new house and unpacked even quicker. They were very organized and followed all of our instructions, and even used protective sheets down to protect the flooring too. Would without a doubt use these guys again :-)

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4800

I saw some of the comments on this Company and I thought that maybe some of the people were exaggerating. During my move with Authority Moving Experts, I ended up having the same issues. I was guaranteed one price when I was quoted, then told a higher price when I called back to book the move. I was eventually given that same price of which I was quoted after a long back and forth conversation. when I scheduled the move, I stated that I needed a Saturday delivery, and I was told that this would be no problem. I had to schedule an appointment to have someone available at the storage facility where my things were being held and I told Authority 2 weeks before the move that the appointment for the storage facility was for 9am. Authority stated that this will not be a problem. On the day of the move the movers that Authority scheduled, Best Moving in Santa Clara showed up 2 hours later that what was guaranteed by Authority. Once everything was loaded, Best Moving stated that I did not list my couch and love seat on the inventory list and I stated that I am sure that I listed the items and Best Moving stated,” We can leave it and just take what you put on the inventory List" (The Couch and love seat were included on the inventory list that I completed) or you can pay the $1000.00 dollars for the extra cubic feet. I had no choice but to pay the additional $1000.00. to take the pieces. When I called Authority Customer service, The agent stated that it wasn’t listed. I asked for a copy of the Agreement and as of 3 weeks later I am still waiting for it. ( Once you pay the reservation fee, the full contract disappears from the page and you get and abridged copy to view) Once my furnishing were picked up, the $1000.00 charge was added, the 800.00 that I put to reserve the move was remove and not added to the bottom line because Best Moving stated that Authority took the moving and it did not add to the bottom line for the pickup. I called Authority and after that conversation they called Best and cleared things up. Well, I wasn’t paying the incorrect amount and Best Moving charged me a late fee of 150.00 Dollars while they were correcting the error. Authority did not to get the fee removed. The expectation was that I pay the incorrect amount and wait till everything was cleared up

Once my items were picked up from the storage facility, I assumed that my things would be immediately on their way to me. I am out of state and thought ok 7 days it will be here. I called and the customer service on the pickup end and he stated that the contract from authority stated that I would not be able to receive the items until after May 21,2022. Best Moving customer service stated that my things were picked up and we straight to their storage. Today which is a few days short of June 14,2022 weeks since my things were picked up, I was informed by the Authority customer service that I stated that I would not be ready to receive the items until May 21st. I stated that I never stated that and why would I move into my home and sleep on an air mattress while my things are sitting in storage on the west coast, and I am on the east coast. I was then told t that this is their busy season and have no idea when my things would arrive, I asked why didn’t your people at Authority give me full disclosure?? Customer service could now answer the question or any questions. Authority has done nothing but washed their hands. Authority customer service just kept mimicking what Best Moving was saying.

Saturday June 4th, the movers with my furniture called and stated that they would deliver Monday June 6th and they stated that my balance would be 400.00 more that what best emailed me when they picked up my shipment. I called Authority again and once again the bill must be reviewed by authority and worked out between Best Moving. The final call with Authority, the guy stated that there were a few hiccups and that he hoped everything worked out. This was a nightmare. Summing up my experience in my opinion:

• What I was quote was not the price, I was having to pay rom Authority

• The contracted Moving Company:

o Billed me wrong and I had to pay a late fee for their error

o Authority Customer Service promised each time I called that she would call me back and never called me back. I had to constantly call and fight for what I was promised at the time I put a deposit down with Authority

o Authority said that I put down when I can receive the shipment and the part of the contract from Best Moving that had “1st date available” was empty (proving I did not give them that date. It was never covered)

o Best Moving over charged me and I had to pay a late fee while they cleared up the amount.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5000

The team at Authority movers was great. From initial conversations through to the actual move date they kept in touch and made sure everything was still being checked over. The team they found for us came over early to pre-pack as much as possible and the packing on the day only took about 90 minutes. They were polite, looked after the property, on time, and were very helpful. Unpacking on the other side was just as good, nothing was damaged, everything was put where we asked and they cleaned up after themselves. I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants a stress-free and perfectly organized move. The price was also great value, really impressive.
