BIG TIME SCAMMERS. VINCENT (VINNY) SPAZZIOLO, THE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE, WAS FRIENDLY & CORDIAL UNTIL THEY GOT THEIR MONEY. WE BOOKED OUR MOVE FROM ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS TO PALM HARBOR FLORIDA WITH VINNY. HE SENT US AN ESTIMATE OF $4838.40 FOR OUR MOVE BASED ON A ZOOM CALL DURING WHICH HE SAW ALL OUR BELONGINGS. DOMESTIC MOVNG COMPANY IS A BROKER - NOT AN ACTUAL MOVER. VINNY SAID HE WOULD SEND A REPUTABLE MOVING COMPANY & ESTIMATED THE MOVE WOULD TAKE 3-10 BUSINESS DAYS. WE PAID DOMESTIC $982 ON AUGUST 23, 2021 & ANOTHER $2000 ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2021, THE DAY OUR FURNITURE & BOXES WERE PICKED UP. AFTER LOADING OUR THINGS ON THE TRUCK THE MOVERS PRESENTED US A BILL OF LADING WITH A NEW TOTAL COST FOR THE MOVE -$7569. THE NEW TOTAL WAS $2731 MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. WE CALLED DOMESTIC MOVING TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE ADDED CHARGES. VINNY PROMISED TO INVESTIGATE. HE ASKED US TO EMAIL THE MANAGEMENT OF DOMESTIC MOVING WITH THE DETAILS. WE DID. THEY RESPONDED ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2021 STATING SOME OF THE CHARGES WERE FOR ADDITIONAL CUBIC FEET REQUIRED FOR OUR THINGS BUT SAID THEY WERE REACHING OUT TO THE MOVERS TO REVIEW THE CHARGES & HOPEFULLY ADJUST THE FEES.

THAT WAS THE LAST COMMUNICATION WE HAD WITH DOMESTIC MOVING COMPANY. THEY DID NOT ANSWER CALLS NOR RESPOND TO EMAILS. WE REPEATEDLY ASKED FOR THEIR HELP WITH THE MOVERS TO FACILITATE THE DELIVERY OF OUR GOODS. WE DID NOT GET OUR BELONGINGS UNTIL JANUARY 21, 2022 - 4 MONTHS & A WEEK AFTER OUT FIRST AVAILABLE DELIVERY DATE. WE ULTIMATELY HAD TO PAY THE $7569.

A FAIR WARNING. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

They are my first choice for any shifting!

Dismantling furniture is not an easy job this is the worst part of shifting. I always stuck in the wrapping of wood furniture. This time my colleague suggested me to hire this mover for my move. The helpers were on time and helped with disassembling all the stuff and also they wrapped them in brown thick carton. My furniture was delivered in good condition and the experience was so good to give another book.

Worst Experience Moving

Can NOT recommend this company. They are a broker and the actual transporting is done by subcontracted drivers from their sister company Selective Van Lines, who refused to deliver our goods and dumped what they chose to deliver in a public storage facility, and drove away with some of our most expensive furniture, a large screen TV, and more. Of course what they chose to leave in the storage unit was mostly damaged and sat in searing Arizona heat for weeks. See photo- the box immediately UNDER the heavy blue tote is a flat screen TV. We have moved several times across states for job relocations and have NEVER had such a terrible experience as with this company. They are exactly the type of mover that every blog and article warns you about….high cost for low quality — no one calls you back even though you have paid $$ them, late delivery or worse — no delivery — , once you finally get a return call you only get vague and information of the status of your goods delivery, and refusal to act until you pay them cash or wire more money. We got burned and shame on us, but shame on Domestic Moving Co to knowingly allow this.

Great, coordinated and thoughtful staff.

Eventually, a moving service that simply moves you, without any hassle, from one location to another. They state their prices set expectations ahead of time and then follow through. They transferred my parents out of a large house, and they were courteous, respectful, and all their personal belongings were valued. They finished what was meant to be a two-day transfer in one day.

I would book again!

Domestic Moving was the only one available to move and boy we are happy that we chose them. They sent a 3 man crew that packed all of my furniture into a truck in an hour and a half. They also discarded some old stuff for us, Much appreciated. They came in under the estimated time/budget and nothing was damaged. They were friendly and courteous and I would use them again without hesitation. Thanks to Tony, Ed and David you guys rock!

The three men who moved us were absolutely wonderful and were very efficient and seem to know what they are doing. They were fast and friendly. They moved us from a third floor apartment to a fifth floor apartment in about three hours. Nothing was damaged, nothing was lost. Our queen sized bed frame was disassembled and reassembled with ease, and they were just really nice guys.

Amazing service!

On-time, detailed, coordinated and very competent. The group was very organized and quickly moved to help protect everything even with difficult conditions. This was my second move with Domestic Moving, and they did not disappointed. It was not an easy to move in and out of a tiny apartment with some big pieces of furniture. Great Moving Company.

The website giving the cost of the move was easy and quick to use. Prior to the move Kevin kept in touch to check all was OK. On the day Crew turned up a few minutes early to start the move, and the team all worked carefully but quickly. Similarly, the unload was quick with everything going to the right places and not a scratch on anything. The whole team were pleasant and polite. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Good Work!

All I can tell about these guys is that they're brilliant telling you very honestly. We relocated to a 3-story house with 1 apartment, a 4-story townhouse. They worked for 12 hours without stopping. Lamps and furniture put together before we can even say a word! I can't say enough of these very nice guys who are really hard at work and are doing it well!

They professionally handled everything for my move

This time around, we had Domestic movers booked to help us out to move from NJ to FL and I asked them to be extra careful with some of the new furniture we had and the walls in our new place. They both were super careful and made sure that the furniture did not get any scratches. It was great move with them. I am going to nowhere else ever for my future moves.

Satisfied Experience!

We spent a lot of time determining the company to use. Everything was going very well and then upon delivery we were told by The mover he only accepted cash or post office money order. Thank goodness the post office was still open. The mover was friendly until this point. The sales person asked for all the information about our move up front so we would not have attention costs, but unfortunately he did add on fees and stated the belongings weighed more than the contract weight. I am giving the company four stars because everything arrived in a timely manor and nothing was damaged.

Horrible Move

I wish I would’ve never encountered this company. Moved my belongings from NY to Alabama. So many damaged items, so many stolen items I’m not going to say loss because how do you loose a 65 inch flat screen television? I refuse to settle for 100 bucks when everything I was moving was new. No legs to my furniture which was damaged my end tables damaged ironing board stolen clock stolen 4 queen size comforters stolen missing items for my kitchen and living room broken crystal broken picture frames. And then charged double the price after there was a binding contract which I’m being advised on once you have a binding contract if the weight is over the company can only charge a certain percentage but they determine their own rates. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE SORRY. Oh and one of their movers tried to sale me another customers lawnmower and at pick up one mover told me if I gave them 100 a piece they would talk to GiGi to deduct 600 off my bill. THESE PROPLE ARE SCAMMERS AND NEED TO BE EXPOSED VERY UNPROFESSIONAL GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS

The movers called an hour in advance to share what time they'd be there. They got started straight away, were very careful with our belongings. They were efficient and super friendly. I would normally not allow someone, other than myself or family, to move my antiques and fine china, but when I booked Domestic Moving and saw their work I allowed them to wrap it. They packed everything and make sure nothing damages. I love their services. If you are moving within a city and want a helping hand, book them.
