They will gave me an estimate of 4300, took a deposit and then 3 days before my move upped it to over 7k for an in-law cottage ! We live in an inlaw cottage and they wanted 7k !!! They also sold the move to another 1-star review company to actually handle my move. Who wants to pay 7k to have a 1 star review company move their belongings ? The answer is no one. Do not hire them. Do not give them a deposit. I could not risk my belongings or having to pay 7k so i canceled and now I am out my 2k deposit. Avoid this company !

These people robbed me of $940!!! I called for an estimate back in July of 2020. The man that helped me was Steve Cohen out of Boca Raton. He kept insisting that I put a third down on the move even though I was unsure of the date because of covid. I informed him 11/12/20 that I would not be moving because I had found another job here in town and would like them to refund me my downpayment. He had assured me that if I do not move They would return my money. When I called he acted strange and immediately transfered me to the billing department. After a 40 minute wait a young girl came on the line {Crystal}. She seemed confused about refunds and put me on hold for another 20 minutes after which she hung up on me. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I called the billing department again and got Nicole Taylor on the line. She was curt and rude. She sent me an e-mail that I had to sign for a refund. I am still waiting for my refund on 12/27/20. This is a shitty way to treat a disabled senior citizen. They did not stand behind their word. I tried calling Steve multiple times and he refuses to answer the phone or call back.

Alliance is a company that works in various branches to be as confusing as possible and get with away the most unprofessional service possible. You start with sales and customer service with our salesman John Steele giving us a bs date for delivery as fact. Then the movers who work with different company of trucks who is different from dispatch who is different from customer service who is also different from their messaging service. They do this so you have to track down one specific person for one detail of information and in order for one branch of the company to get your information to assist you THEY end up calling the other parts of the company. For example if you call customer service to try and find where your possessions are you get to wait while they call the same number you would call for dispatch. The movers have no contact with the customer aside from when they get your things and when they give you your things. They will give you dates and times in an attempt to make you feel at ease and will never meet them they will lie as much as possible to get your money. Morally as corrupt as the worst politician if you even dare to try and get a quote for how much moving will cost you will get a call from your very own John Steele telling you how in just a week or two your stuff could get moved to anywhere you want. Your better off carrying things and walking.

Alliance moving and storage and the people they hire will destroy your things and steal from you. The people they hired stole our safe and vacuum cleaner, then lied that it didn't get loaded on the truck. In their binding contract, it states professional door to door service. What a lie. If u hire this company and anyone connected with them, u will pay twice what other moving company's would charge. This company should be put out of business and put in jail. Didn't trust anything they tell u on the phone, it is all bullsh$t. A one star is to good for a reveiw.

Alliance Moving & Storage helped us move house recently. They provided a completely seamless service, effortlessly moving the entire contents of our house They even helped us dismantle a couple of furniture items and helped plumb in a dishwasher and washing machine in the new house, which was beyond the call of duty. I can't recommend these guys enough. They are incredibly professional and charge considerably less than a lot of other companies we considered.
