Alliance moving was kind enough to come to my house to do an in-home estimate. I did not feel fully comfortable with doing it over the phone and I’m grateful they were able to make time to come see me. I’m a resident in Illinois so it worked out schedule wise that they would be on another pick up to drop in to my home. They walked the house and marked off all my items and then put them back in their system. They got back to me with a price the following day I got a chance to review it and shortly after reserve the move. There is a certain weekend that I needed to be picked up on and they accommodated me. The movers came, the list smashed up identically and they begin wrapping all the furniture. They loaded the truck and nothing i’m a resident in Illinois so it worked out schedule wise that they would be on another pick up drop in to my home. They walk the house and marked off all my items and then put them back in their system. They got back to me with a price the following day I got a chance to review it and shortly after reserve the move. There is a certain weekend that I needed to be picked up on and they accommodated me. The movers came, the list matched up identically and they began wrapping all the furniture. They loaded the truck and nothing It was placed on top of other things so as a result nothing was damaged. I got a phenomenal price and best of all it was a flat fee. It was a joy using them and I would consider them again in the future for the quality of work they provided.

I recently moved from Boston to Denver using Alliance. While initially they seemed very helpful and responsive, when it actually got to moving day everything went wrong. Firstly, they turned up more than 24 hours late, leading us to almost miss our flights. Second, the tried to charge us double the price they originally quoted us - claiming falsely that we had more items than were on our inventory. Third, we were forced to sign a revised contract stating we would pay this amount, while they had our items hostage on the vehicle, and with no other options given our imminent move (I reluctantly signed, but explicitly noted on the forms and to the staff that I did not consent to this amount and that we would need to discuss further). Fourth, when we eventually discussed this charge, they refused to provide the information needed to actually calculate any additional payment needed (the contract clearly stated that they could only charge me more for additional items - if the items in the itinerary were larger than they estimated, they should have been liable, not me - but they refused ever to acknowledge this, despite it being clear in writing). Fifth, I was told when booking that my things would be delivered on a specific day, only later to be told that this was not true, and instead they would deliver within a two week window - this meant I ended up being homeless for two weeks waiting for me things to arrive. Sixth, they had finally agreed that we would discuss the cost again when they delivered (when we would be able to specifically measure the size of additional items), but on that day, they refused to speak to me (I called multiple times - they picked up multiple times - and when they realized it was me, they hung up (I have recorded evidence of this behavior!)). I was therefore blackmailed again - with them refusing to take my items off the truck until I paid them the extortionate amount, which they have never provided evidence that I owed.

Long story short - this company is a scam. They lie to you to get your business - then blackmail you for extra money - and treat you terribly throughout. Do yourself a favor - avoid this company at any cost!

Well when I first got the call I was very skeptical. There was a time many Years ago when I had to use a professional mover and needless to say it did not go very well. I even told my concerns to my representative so he knew the way how to go about it. He asked me what pieces I was moving and mark them up in his system. Everybody at alliance moving did a very good job in being stream Lee details and business oriented and scheduling my love. The other companies I spoke to her very haphazard and seem like the only thing they wanted was my money. There is an intangible element when speaking to many companies in alliance moving had it. My entire move was done with care and everybody was on board for a god experience. Fast delivery and good customer service also played a part. Thank you for everything.

I found out I was moving and instantly I was nervous. I am on a fixed income as it is and heard horror stories about moving companies taking advantage of senior citizens by increasing the price drastically from the original estimate. Alliance was the moving company I decided to go with.
I told them my concerns and they immediately put my mind at ease. They had a very accurate estimate and it was no different from the what they originally told me.
The movers came in the morning as I asked and started the process. They carefully moved all that I was taking with me and wore little booties to not track in dirt which was very important to me. I have never had to move in my life so this being the first and last time I will, I was so grateful to have such nice gentlemen in my home for a grueling process.

Move couldn’t have been better. I called Alliance Moving in a panic I was being evicted from my house. Luckily I had family willing to help me in a hard time all I had to do was get a mover and get out of the state. I have no experience working with professional movers but everybody at alliance moving was willing to teach me the right way to do things. I didn’t have much furniture to move so I was worried at first it would be out of my budget. After explaining my situation if you discounts in a little sympathy we made it happen together. It was really only two bedrooms are furniture in the living room I didn’t need any special packing or any type of rush delivery. They were able to get Me picked up within a week and I was in my parents home the following week. I owe it all to them for helping me in a tough situation nobody should have to leave this fast under the circumstances but life happens. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a mover willing to work with you on a budget and on a short timeframe thanks again guys.

Alliance Moving was so professional.I dealt with many other movers in the past and never had an experience like this one. I’ve had to deal with movers without licenses Fellons coming to my house and just out right thieves I would take my goods. I’m happy to say that none of that happened this time around because I did my research. They have been in business for many years had a ton of excellent reviews and I was also referred to them by a friend of mine so I knew the type of work that they did. The most important thing when it comes to selecting s mover is knowing the company they keep. It’s easy to get fooled when talking to people on the phone everyone has the same pitch. Save yourself time energy and money and give these guys a call and try them for yourself.

Thank goodness for reliable movers. I’m a teacher in NJ and I have 2 months to handle any business of my own outside of school work. I’ve never used a professional mover before and honestly never even left my home town my whole life. I was very afraid to hire a mover after some of the horror stories I heard about people paying extra money or never seeing my goods again. I spoke to Alliance they were ironically the first call I took. They were so efficient in making sure we had all the items I was bringing. We scheduled the dates I needed and they showed up as expected. They did a fabulous job. I’d highly recommend them to anyone in need of an honest moving company.

Alliance was wonderful to work with! They made moving less of a hassle to where I could focus on other details of starting my life in a new place. I would highly recommend them to any one looking for a professional moving service! They were very thorough and careful with my furniture and especially my belongings that are breakable. I was a little nervous as this was my first big move but they took a lot of the stress away which allowed me to actually enjoy the experience. Great Job!

I've worked with a few long distance movers, and this was the best experience I've had by far. Everyone was very professional and polite, and most importantly, my things arrived on time, in the condition I left them, and for the price I was promised. They did a great job communicating every step of the way, so I never had to worry about where my stuff was and when it would meet me on the other end. Anyone who has ever experienced a *bad* long-distance move knows how important that is! I will definitely be using this company again.

Alliance was the mover I selected for my relocation. The are really efficient and were able to get picked up the same week actually it was within 5 days. We were waiting on a home we really admired and they accepted our offer under the condition we would be in on that date. I called alliance extremely nervous and very stressed. The rep was poised and clearly operated under these conditions before. We moved very fast through the moving but he was sure to verify and ask questions so the rush we were in didn’t turn into a low ball estimate and me being charged additional money in pickup. We went room by room and talked about everything I needed to pack myself and anything that was required by law to ship a certain way. I’m very thankful I put my move in their hands because this move could have got ugly real fast with untrustworthy movers. The movers were able to pack and load in just a few hours. I’m happy to recommend them to anybody especially during a busy time of year they got the job done.

I just wanted to thank everybody involved with my move at alliance moving. You made this a very pleasant experience when I was very stressed in the beginning and I thank you for being patient with me. My boyfriend and I have been together for four years and we decided to finally move to Illinois. We have been in Florida since we met and we were heading home to be closer to family so it’s important that I found a mover that was from the area. From the first phone call I can tell that things are going to go very smooth. I had no idea what I was getting into when I first started talking to moving companies but alliance broke down in a way that was easy to understand and follow. I walk through my house and told them every piece that I was moving and he asked me if anything needed special packing or attention. It was a good feeling to know that someone else had my best interest in mind I’ve heard many stories about moving companies that simply want your money and never show up or charging more when they arrive. Alliance was very straightforward and at no point did I feel pressured or as if I was being taken advantage of. The movers them self We’re on time and basically waited for my word before touching anything. They careful he please pieces room by room once we got to Illinois and the job is done. It may not seem like a big deal to most people but I had a lot of anxiety going into this in alliance really calmed my nerves. The pricing was excellent communication was top notch and I would happily use them again in the future.

Alliance is wonderful. I feel bad because on the day they came out it was over 100 degrees but the movers still did a great job. I set up my move in advance to avoid any scheduling problems and I secured my dates. They offered insurance on all my things which was very important to me. The items I was shipping were passed on through many generations and had high sentimental value. Alliance understood and respected that and listened very carefully to all my requests.
When they contacted me we went room by room and I called off all my pieces. After listing off my pieces we discussed various packing options. I was able to get everything in writing via email to review with my husband as well as a list of websites to verify what I had been told. There’s a lot of money on the line do I wanted to make sure I made the right descion and I feel like I did. Sometimes a few extra minutes and questions go a long way and everyone I worked with was willing to take the time with me until I felt confident in our estimate. I would happily use them again.

I’m from Illinois and I recently got word my company was relocating to Tennessee. I’ve never been to Tennessee not ever left my hometown. It was an opportunity I could not pass up on for work so I accepted the position. I began my search for movers online. I visited many websites as well as the BBB. I came across Alliance and I liked everything I saw

Instead of filling out forms and getting bombarded with calls I just contacted them direct. We went room by room and I began listing off my items. We discussed packing options as I elected to pack the boxes myself. Every time I had a question my sales person was willing to explain slowly and in detail and I appreciated that a lot. When the movers showed up I had all the boxes ready for pickup and they began breaking down furniture and loading the truck. It took them about 4 hours and they were on the road.

The movers showed up st my new home and began placing boxes and furniture in the rooms I designated. There were no hidden charges and nothing was missing. It was a pleasant move and I’m happy I got to meet some new people and get such a high level of service. I’m also glad I took the extra time to do things the right way and do business with an honest company. Great job.

Do NOT fall for the "we own all of out trucks, all movers work for us" sales line. A 3rd party subcontractor in a rented truck showed up as a "shuttle" service.

Do NOT fall for the "last on/first off" fee. It doesn't mean jack.

Do NOT attempt to contact dispatch unit. They will not answer the phone and will not return your calls.

When I attempted to get a fee waived due to the above issues, the manager refused to concede even the subcontractors. NO customer service skills at all. I told him I had 3 family members planning cross-country moves that I'd be taking elsewhere, he cared less - "it won't hurt us. We're busy". THAT says it all!

Their 5* internet rating is B.S. with a capital B.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5000

The Positives:
- I was able to secure a mover on a tighter than normal time frame.
- They gave me a 2 hour window, called in the middle saying they were running behind, and showed up about 30 mins late.

The Negatives:
- They use contractors and rented trucks (Penske truck showed up at my apartment)

- The contractors will try to charge you far more than necessary. Your person on the phone will tell you that packing materials for all of your goods will be included. The foreman tried to charge me $250 in packing materials while at my home.

- Some of the foreman (specifically the one I worked with) are pretty shady, don't make my mistake and read through all of the charges completely. I was charged $350 for a long carry even though the loading area for my first floor apartment is only 40 feet from my door (The first 50 feet are included).

- Customer service is non-existant. I'm trying to resolve the above issue, have called 5 times on five separate days, left two messages, and have not received a call back.

Overall Recommendation: If you're short on time, enjoy haggling, and are prepared for an unprofessional experience, these are your movers.

If you don't want to deal with any of that. Go with one of the major van lines and get a free in home estimate.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $3500

I saw many happy customers leave feedback about working with Alliance Movers. That was one of the first things that drew me into to them. The second thing was how much these guys knew about the moving industry!! There was no question I could come up with that they did not have covered. I was impressed to say the least. They use a room by room formula to determine the overall space going onto the truck which is considered a “binding not to exceed” price. As long as our list matched up identical to thiers on move date there would be no issue and sure enough there wasn’t. They are upfront about cost and willing to work and made my move a giant success.

When it comes to facts and telling you what you need to know Alliance Moving is the best. They left nothing open for questioning and explained how we can best protect our self. They took much time constructing a list of items where nothing would be missed. They thought of things before we could it was surprising. They made it easier for us on our end having 4 children to keep in line so our attention obviously was elsewhere. We have nothing but positive remarks and good referrals. It was a joy working with them because we were a little concerned reading negative instances from other companies. The move with them was easy and stress free and got exactly what we wanted.

Tgis was by far the best move that I've ever had to go through. I was ready for something bad to happen but every corner I turned and page I flipped it was not possible. They made sure I was happy from start to the very very end.

When I went over the paperwork everything was great and it all came true. The sales process was stress free. The total price was very affordable. I am so happy that I went this way.

I thought about letting my friends help me move but u don't think enough pizza and beer would have gotten anywhere near as great of a job as this. Thank guys you deserved the tip and the humility was so heartfelt.

Thank you so much. Alliance Movers dedicated so much time and hard work into our relocation. We had plans in the beginning to rent a truck and drive a few hundred miles ourself. After calling around we realized we didn’t have the energy and it was more costly then we thought. We found the alliance movers online after reading about various companies. From the first call we were able to put together a detailed list. The final price that we paid was the same price that we were quoted. The same moving truck that pick this up was the same one that dropped us off this was important to us. I would recommend for anybody looking for a mover that will do exactly what you ask of them this is the company to call.

We had a major moving company come out to our home to give us an on site moving quote. They got back with us within a day and the number was astronomical! We took the same list we put together with them and emailed it over to Alliance Movers. We got a price that was over 4 thousand dollars cheaper! I know it’s not all about money but why should we spend more if we did not have to. Alliance was extremely professional with us and wasn’t concerned at all what other companies we spoke to. They wanted to verify where what and when the pieces would be picked up. They were all very courteous and focused a lot on the details. We are so grateful finding an honest company like them. Can’t say enough about how great they are. Very impressive.

We fell in love with Alliance Moving. I swear we had the nicest and funniest sales representative in the business. We have never move before so it was a shock to us when the phone calls started the ConMan. Every company wanted to know it was being moved and what we needed packed. Alliance happens to be the first company that called us so we spent the most time with them, do you know what they say the early bird gets the worm. We put together such a detailed list and discussed every single piece that needed special parking without no need to look any further Since we reserved our move so far in advance we got great pricing. It was a dream come true. I would suggest for anybody to call this company for an upcoming move.

It’s hard to find a company that is as good as alliance moving. The first phone call we had with them we built an entire inventory list. We went room by room and I told them what pieces we wanted pack specially in the televisions we want to crated. There was nothing this company wasn’t willing to do. No harassing phone calls or bad mouthing the competition they just focused on our relocation and we appreciated that a lot. We’ve had our fair share of movers be worth it in the past but nothing was as easy as working with these guys. Absolute recommendation.

Alliance Moving did it all! We didn’t have to do a single thing except let the movers in the front door. We got a call a couple days before to confirm our pickup and when they showed up they took apart and wrapped all our furniture and hand packed each box. It was easy to keep track of all the items because of the color coding and numbering. It was the best deal out of all the moving companies we spoke to. Great credentials,high ratings and excellent customer feedback. We are first time Movers that are very new to the moving process but Alliance helped us get from point A to point B smoothly. Great company.
