Long-distance move from Washington to Texas

Worst company ever!

This company has very fraudulent and deceptive practices. A person named Peter handled my reservation. I was told that I would be dealing with him for any concerns throughout my move. When asked by Peter for the location I would be moving to I told him that I was moving to Houston,Tx, however I did not have an address at that point and would it be an issue. I was told that it would not be an issue because they had a warehouse in Houston where they would store my furniture for up to 30 days free and to notify them of my new address before the 30 days to avoid storage fees.My furniture was picked up in Lakewood Washington on Monday Jul.28th,2014. I was told by the movers that it would take 5-15 days for my furniture to arrive. I arrived in Houston on Aug 3,2014. I found an apartment and called Peter on Friday Aug 8th,2014 to notify him of my new address, to which he replied that he was no longer responsible and gave me the number of someone else to call, even though in the beginning he told me that I would be dealing directly with him throughout my entire move.When I called & spoke with Latashia, she informed me that my furniture was still in Washington because the driver was on another job and that she would have him give me a call when he was on his way. At this point it was day 13 of the 5-15 days I had previously been quoted. I said nothing at this point but decided to call again first thing on Monday.When I called on Monday Latashia told me that the reason my furniture was still in Washington was because I had not given them an address to send it to. I was livid because I was told by Peter that it would be stored in the Houston warehouse until I called with an address for delivery. Latashia proceeded to tell me with an attitude that "They don't have no room to just be holding people's stuff in their warehouse." and gave me her address to email my delivery address. When I told her I was going to file a complaint she said it didn't matter because they never wrote a delivery date on my contract. It is now Aug 20th and I still have no furniture. I would like for my furniture to be delivered immediately and at a discounted rate lower than stated on my contract. I have lost thousands of dollars in hotel fees and lost wages, as I am a hair stylist and all of my equipment for work is being held hostage with this company. I cannot even sign my children up for school because all of my documents are packed up in a box on their truck and I have been sitting in an empty apartment for the last two weeks. Worst experience I've ever had. Update: I finally recieved my furniture 35 days after they picked it up and I have items damaged and missing from my shipment.

BEWARE . . . Please read.

All Service Movers has been the worst customer experiece of my entire life.  Think Comcast, but 100 times worse. The salesman, Mark, that sold me the service agreed to hold my things for 30 days.  The movers arrived 24 days early and I told them I could not accept delivery for another 24 days as agreed with Mark.  I never heard anything again.  30 days later I called to find out where my stuff was and they informed me I would not only be paying a storage fee but also a redelivery fee of $600. The $600 redeilvery fee was NEVER mentioned to me and it was not in the contract I signed.   The salesman, Mark, dissapeared, refused to take responsibility for any of this mess.   I spent countless hours on the phone trying to talk sense into these people, but to no avail. Every time I called back they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about and I had to go through the entire experience all over again, even when I was talking to the same person!!  They continued to give me the run around. Several of my items did not arrive.   I have tried to file a claim and they continue to give me the run around.  My only assumption is that they think if they ignore me long enough I'll just go away.  I was told me service would cost $7,144 and they charged my credit card for an unathorized abount of $735. Worse of all though is they foreced me to pay them in cash or they wouldn't unload the truck.  Fine, but they refused to provide me a receipt even though I have asked no less than 10 times.   I have filed a claim with the IRS as well because I need a receipt for tax purposes. In a nutshell All Service Movers is an operation filled with snakes.  They are unethical scammers.  STAY AWAY          .

All Service Movers - DO NOT USE THEM.

This company GROSSLY under quotes (Quoted $923 paid $1650).  I was charged almost double what was quoted.  We had everyting packed and ready to go so there was no suprises for the movers (3 bedroom townhome to a 3 bedroom house).  We were charged extra for things (plastric fruniture wrap) that I was told would be included..and I was only told that we would be charged at the end of the day after the movers had used the wrapping so there was no choice at that point to not wrap items.  They also wrapped items I feel didn't need to be wrapped.  Our move inlcuded loading one day and then holding our stuff until the next morning and then unloading the over night fee was reasonable ($150 included in the the quote).  We paid 70% of the quote the first day ($646).  The next morning when the movers showed up (without calling ahead, so no one was even at the new house yet) they held our belongings hostage until we paid the rest of the amount owed (which we were told was determined by the manager)..this moved was charged by the hour, we paid before they even started unloading.  Unloading did not take the amount time that we were charged.  Items were also damaged, which according the contract you have to tell them right then and there if something is damaged, which is ridiculous to think that anyone has time to inspect all their belongings while the movers are unloading.  We moved 7 miles from one house to the next and was charged $1650..my father in-law has moved states for that much (hired movers).  I was told the extra charges ect. were coming from their manager, whether that is true or not who knows.  I tried to call and speak to manager that same day and I was told someone would call me back, which has never happened.  Even though the movers themselves were very polite, overall I would NEVER use this company again and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Moving is stressful and chatoic and I think this company plays off that.  With everything on your mind during a move they give you no choice but to pay what they say is owed or you don't get your belongings unloaded.  They may seem cheaper when they give you a quote, but you will pay for it in the end.  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!       .

Be Prepared for Headaches and Fustration.

Reconsider using All Services Movers Inc. located in 6555 Romiss Ct in Missouri and the secondary office located in Houston Texas.  The so called "certified logistics consultants" appear to be helpful and diligent with providing information and quotes you will be very very sorry you ventured into this relationship with All Services Movers Inc.  I had been told a rentlentless list of lies and felt extorted by this company which is criminal.  The sales staff will tell you the movers are professional,experienced, can stack and pack a truck professionally, will break down and set up-wrap carefully and respectfully your items to be moved to then reset up. Doesn't happen.  Your items will not be handled more than necessary. OHHH so doesn't happen.  I don't care what gage box you use.  I used the best heavy gage boxes. Promised the storage is secure, safe, clean, staff are legal employees of the company and not temps hired off the street.  well from time of signing the contract with this company it's been heart wrenching and devastating to say the least. Turns out movers show up..not experienced, not licensed, temp workers and coached to charge for more footage by their management. True event:  One mover didn't have a license to drive the rental truck.  Suggested cash money on the side to load items and not charge extra footage as directed by management.  Which I had provided a detailed inventory list with measurements for total quote on the footage for this move. Bottom line the company doesn't live up to what you are told from the sales to the actual experience in dealing with the movers and the dispatch management is going to cost you headaches, relentless stress and prolonged destination dates.  No setting up, not enough movers to unpack the truck.  They "tried" to collect the balance of the move and to sign for service you pay for with missing items.  I paid for 27ft truck.  The delayed delivery was less than 27ft space of my items.  The dispatch staff lied numerous times about my items missing.  One person went so far as to accuse me of trying to "pull something".  If I pay for my items on a 27ft packed truck I should see my 27ft truck filled. Don't sign before doing inventory. They insist on you signing before unloading.  Read the fine print.  The dispatch gave me such a hard time in that my items couldn't be missing as its all done electronically. Seriously?  The damaged items were then blamed on me by the management.  There was not one positive thing.  I'm still dealing with the nightmare of a criminal company with less than stellar integrity.  There is alot more that negatively occurred.  My experience is less than poor and considered a nightmare that should not be allowed. .
