Tried to cancel was told they are going through bankruptcy.

Called and scheduled to move on 9/18/19 called to cancel the next day with the 72 hrs and emailed. Was told it was cancelled and would get an email. Three days later 9/23/19 we got a call from a guy named Bill from Texas 972-761-5630 saying that the company is in bankruptcy and we will not be getting a refund. He was rude and not polite. Very upsetting they are this type of company.

Local move within Washington

I would not hire All Pro Moving Group to rearrange my sock drawer.

Firstly, every positive review on here is an average of one sentence with zero experience detail (I suspect fraud posts). Yet every bad experience on here is very detailed (honest posts).

We hired All Pro Moving Group LLC to move our household furniture from Washington State to Canton Texas. We received a binding contract from All Pro Moving We hired Group in the amount of $9,494.64. This was based on a meticulous itemized list conveyed to an All Pro Sales agent named James who calculated the CF required to move our belongings. Between phone, email and text, we spent approximately 2 hours working with James to calculate the necessary CF requirement. The itemized list was on the contract.

In Washington, the driver showed up a day late which resulted in us having to pay our staff to stay an extra day. We were also charged $800 for ferry fees, when the ferry fees were actually only approximately 25 percent of that total. We were also charged for packing materials, when we provided all of the packing materials. Our staff packed and moved 80 percent of our content into the truck in Washington. Out of the itemized list in the contract provided by James who calculated the necessary CF, we were only able to load about 30 percent of the items he calculated as he greatly miss calculated the CF. We then were charged for 1520 CF instead of the 1171 CF that James quoted us. We had to donate the balance of furniture to Habitat for Humanity, as our house was on an Island, and there was nowhere else the furniture could be stored or moved. New owners were moving in. Value of donation was $10,000.

From day one after we agreed to the contract, and paid our deposit, All Pro Moving Group was completely unresponsive, and impossible to communicate with. Phone numbers that went nowhere, voicemails not returned, voicemail boxes that were full, as well as absolutely no responses to our emails. The only way we could reach anyone was if to pretend we were a new customer and call the sales quote phone number listed on their website.

We also asked repeatedly that the movers arrive AFTER the 21st of October. Furniture arrived a day too early in Texas. We had to make special arrangements to meet the movers a day early, and then they arrived several hours late and due to this, did not re assemble the furniture per contract.

The movers also would not deliver our furniture at destination unless we paid them an extra $3,28.78 (cash or money order only).

Terrible experience.

Long-distance move from Taylor, MI to Seal Beach, CA

Move from MI to CA.

I called them to help me with my cross country move. They selected my moving company, who was horrible. I contacted them to advise them of various issues I was having with the moving company - they did nothing to resolve or help me resolve the issues. My items didn't arrive for several weeks later and were very damaged. The movers did not provide me any notice for the drop off, they were so unprofessional. Yet, when I contacted All Pro to help me, all they did was try to convince me that they were helping, while actually providing NO help at all.

Long-distance move from Boca Raton, FL to Anchorage, AK

Great long move.

From the minute I contacted Sydney in sales everything went well with my move to Anchorage. I accepted a job in Alaska and had a large household to move with all of my kids things etc.

The cost was competitive and I noticed from other reviews and research that All Pro specialized in long-distance moves.

They didn’t disappoint and all of our things arrived safe and sound and on schedule to our new home.

Importantly, there were no cost over-runs or added fees following the move.

Long-distance move from New York, NY to Los Angeles, CA

Recommended by a Colleague.

I asked a few folks at work who they used to move last. One of my colleagues recommended All Pro. I needed to move to Los Angeles from my Manhattan apartment when I received a promotion and re-location package. The team that came to survey my belongings and provide the moving cost estimate was first rate and quite seasoned.

The pickup and delivery was on time and there were no issues at all.

Also, there were no additional fees following the move which was impressive.

Long-distance move from Los Angeles, CA to Brooklyn, NY

Not sure what service the broker does. Just hire the moving company.

AllPro Moving group has an interesting business model. Their sales rep will talk to you all nice and tell you all the "perks" you get, like 30 day waived storage and waived shuttle fees based, but the moment you sign the initial payment, the service is actually completed by a contracted mover. In my case they paired me with Executive Moving and Storage (rated 1 star on Yelp across 31 reviews). I realized at this point that I was screwed. AllPro doesn't actually do anything (they middleman a sales fee and tell you to just call the moving company if you have any problems) and drive business to companies with terrible service level commitments. The moving company they hired did delivered my goods 5 weeks late, charged extra for storage, and extra upon delivery for a shuttle (which my AllPro rep said I woudln't need!). I had to call the moving company 3-4 times a week as they kept delaying the move. To top it off, furniture was scuffed and parts lost. The problem is AllPro exists to "clean up" the image of its moving company partners, obviously I wouldn't pick a mover with 1 star, but AllPro can just link you up with garbage.

Just do more research than I did, maybe don't use a broker, don't assume the rate is what they quote you on the phone, and definitely don't use AllPro, because you're worst case get a 1-star mover actually handle your move.

Hello,
We are sad to hear you had this type of experience, based on our 4 out of 5 star rating on this site, that is never our intention. In reviewing your file, the carrier is to compensate you for the late delivery during the holidays. All Pro has a broker and Carrier division, your particular move which was scheduled during a busy time of the year was sent to one of our network carriers. From our stand point we were in constant communication with you throughout the entire process and did everything we could to get your items delivered in a timely fashion. If you need any assistance with getting in touch with the carrier please reach out to our customer service team.

Long-distance move from Cabazon, CA to San Antonio, TX

Long Distance Move From Cabazon, CA to San Antonio TX.

Great Service Overall for me and my family. These guys helped me in my worst ever relocation situation. I hired the company in December 2019 to move me and my family for work. I was supposed to get my items delivered to me on 1/15/20 in TX. When I got to TX Monday 1/13/20 to get my keys, there was an issue with the association. There was a board approval pending the lease agreement. This floored me as I am an HR Director and had this buttoned up in December. All Pro worked with me and helped put my stuff in storage for a week, and delivered everything in mint condition 2 days ago on Thursday. Granted I chose to pack myself (I'm in HR not Moving) so some Ikea dishes broke, whatever. I'm thankful that this error between the HOA/Real Estate Agent did not impact my move or price! So I'm writing to give them accolades! They went above and beyond for me, my family, and my move! Thank You Chris! Guillermo my team lead or foreman guy was AMAZING!!

Long-distance move from Alexandria, VA to Chicago, IL

Horrible.

This has been the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a business.

I needed to move from Northern VA to Chicago IL for a work project. I called in and spoke with a representative who educated me on the difference between a carrier and a broker as well as some other moving guidelines I was unaware of. She was very clear that they were a CARRIER that just had a broker’s license for a few states that were out of their range like Hawaii.

I signed on Dec.13. I repeatedly mentioned that I needed delivery on or before Dec. 23 as I was going on vacation for Christmas. I also mentioned that my building has strict moving rules. We have to reserve an elevator and schedule the move at least 72 hours ahead or they would charge a fee and could refuse to accommodate the move. She said though she couldn’t guarantee a delivery date as that was against regulations but most moves took 5-7 business days and this definitely would not be a problem. Per my quote I paid a $598 deposit to All Pro and was supposed to pay $420 on pick up and another $420 on delivery.

My things were picked up Dec.18th I was told I was going to receive a call the night before pickup so I could prepare. I did not. I received a call from the driver when he was 30 minutes away from the storage unit. I did not make a big deal out of it and went to meet the driver. The pickup and drop off prices went up to $463 each. I said fine and tipped them $100 to get my stuff there safe and on time.

For the next two and a half weeks I emailed, text messaged, and called trying to get an ETA on the move and to make sure the movers knew about my building requirements. I talked to countless people and they all said it would be fine.

On Jan 15 almost a month from the pickup date I received a call around 5:30 saying they were going to make the delivery the next morning. I said that’s impossible because as I’ve said in all my emails, calls, and texts my building has rules and I need to reserve the elevator as well as register the move. It was after business hours at this point so I could not even call the building to see if I could talk my way into an exception plus I was not even in town. He seemed confused and I got the feeling it was his first time hearing about this at all. I reviewed everything with him and he said he would call base and figure it out, he may have to do it at the end of the route or they would have to drop it off to another company or something. We were both very clear it could not happen tomorrow.

The next day I get a call bunch of calls from them around noon. I call back and he tells me he is 30 minutes away and asks where I want him to put my stuff. I was confused as we just spoke about this was not possible last night. We were both very clear and at no time did he declare his intent to just try and make the delivery anyway. As the conversation progressed it got progressively more rude until a friend that was with me decided to start recording because she was shocked at his tone and behavior. Finally he said I had 20 minutes to figure out or he would leave my stuff on the floor in my lobby or on the curb. In a panic I called my building and begged them to facilitate this delivery as I did not want my things thrown away or stolen. They agreed as long as I paid the $600 unscheduled move in fee. The driver then told me I had to pay the balance first electronically as I was not in town. I refused as I could not verify my furniture was actually there or undamaged. I told him I would transfer the balance the next day when I got back into town. He refused and said he was going to put my things in storage at MY expense.

I immediately call All Pro’s emergency number and explain the situation- they tell me someone will get back to me as soon as possible. As you can probably guess no one got back to me. For the next couple days I call and email trying to get an update on the status of my move and a location of my things. Finally I get a call back and they basically tell me if I have to pay an additional $1200 to get my things delivered.

At this point I’m done. I despise being taken advantage of and luckily I come from a family of lawyers who hate when businesses try hiding shady practices behind a contract. This whole thing has been such a nightmare and just a never-ending headache that I decided to leave it to the professionals. I retained legal counsel and they plan to file complaints with the DOT, BBB, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Admin, and ASMA. They are requesting my contract with both companies and plan to pursue it as they believe I have a case under Chicago regulations and statutes.

I’ve been more than reasonable and accommodating throughout this situation and though they have admitted and are clearly at fault they have made no attempt to rectify or take responsibility for the mistakes.

All I can say is SAVE YOURSELF. I would have been much better off just selling or donating all my things to Salvation Army.

Official company response

Hello Mary,
We're sorry to hear you had a poor experience. We understand how stressful moving can be, our intention is to make sure the process is a smooth as possible. However, after doing some research on your move and reading the notes that date back to 12/11/2019 until current I found some issues. Anytime we move to a major City such as, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston there anyways needs to be great communication between ourselves and the consumer. In many cases these cities require shuttle trucks, and certain building have strict requirements as to move in time frames. Reservations needs to be made, such as elevator, loading dock, time frames during the day that new tenants can move in. All Of this is gone over in a verification call which was completed before your first payment is ran. This is also reiterated during the call with Quality Assurance prior to pickup.
Now, it shows you claim to be guaranteed a delivery date by the representative which I pulled the sales call and did not find. The 12/23 was the date we were striving for but could not make a guarantee, nor do we ever in the moving industry. This is why our contract allows up to 21 business days. Things happen on the road, unfortunately in your case the truck had an issue.

(Note on file 12/16)-Carrier said they will definitely try to get the goods delivered before the holiday. More than likely it should be okay but they cannot guarantee anything.

Calling cx to see what she wants to do

(Note also 12/16) LVM for Mary letting her know that the carrier said as long as weather doesn`t cause any issues it`s likely for delivery to take place on time but we need to know ASAP if she wants us to schedule this carriers truck for PU tomorrow afternoon.

Waiting on cb.

(Later on the 16th) Haven`t heard back from the customer yet but the carrier contacted me back stating the cx told them directly that she wants to reschedule the move and she will contact them with a date.
(12/20)P/U follow up- pick up went well and FADD IS THE 23RD -customer is calling office to have form sent to change date-
FADD- First available Delivery date-this is when the delivery spread starts. (This should have been signed off my the customer ASAP as instructed)
The change of date was the real curve ball that was thrown into the move. As well as the truck having issues. Furthermore this is a very challenging time of the year to meet specific dates due to weather and the holidays.
Any time a customer voices an issues we always do our best to rectify the situation within reason. All of the situations that occurred during Mary's move are listed in the contract which Mary signed off on and agreed upon.
However, Due to the circumstances on our end, compensation was offered to Mary as sign of good faith and not responsibility. If any further questions need assistance please contact our customer service department

Long-distance move from Omaha, NE to Scottsdale, AZ

They did not show up, they don’t want to refund $1044 Dow payment.

On December 17th, the week of the move they call me to check the inventory. They charged me $300 more, even though it was going to be fewer items.
The day before the move, I called them to confirm when exactly they would arrive. I was informed it would be the 21st, which was not the agreed upon window. I told them this was unacceptable as I have to drive my car 23 hours to my new place and show up to work on Monday.
The manager of All pro moving group Jake Walker (who was extremely unprofessional) couldn’t give me an explanation, and just said the truck can’t make it. There was no inclemental weather or something. I asked him if they couldn’t make it, release me from the agreement and give me the money back. He said NO, then proceeded to yell at me saying that it wasn’t his fault. He tried to say if I wasn’t willing to give them more time I could cancel the service at my expense. After he finally stopped yelling on the phone, he told me he will call me to give me some updates about the service.
He never called back. I got ahold of Shannon and told her that Saturday would have to work because I was out of options. She assured me a mover would be there Saturday. I call them on Friday December 20, at least 30 times to confirm the service nobody answered or returned my phone calls. I waited for them on Saturday December21, they never showed up! Now they don’t want to give me my money back arguing I haven’t call them, they never answered any phone call during the weekend!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Your move was during a challenging time of the year, many families are looking to get settled before the holidays. This can unfortunately back things up as far as delivery dates. We did our best to accommodate your needs as well as offer compensation for the hold up.
You would need to contact customer service regarding the above matter.

Long distance nightmare worth $5500.00.

You cannot trust what they tell you. I chose this moving company because I was told they would take care of my move in a timely manner. When customer service called me back and they told me my move could take anywhere from 4 to 14 days, I asked for my deposit back. I was called back and reassured that their manager was guaranteeing my delivery date. When it came to moving day(Saturday), they showed up on a uhaul..and had a contract from another carrier. I was also told at that time if they had to use anything extra(including tape) I would have to pay for it. I called customer service again, and once again I was reassured that the carriers they were using could be trusted. I called on delivery day (Thursday) to get an ETA, they said they would get ahold of the dispatcher and call me back. A couple of hours later their manager called me to say that my belongings would be arriving Saturday or Sunday. I requested to speak to her superior and she stated "I'm it" there is noone else here..I proceeded to request to speak with her boss..and she replied "you will never speak to my boss". I then asked for a refund or discount..she said she did not know if that was possible. I am writing this review on a Saturday evening..because I still do not have my belongings and they have not contacted me..

Misinformed.

My family is relocating from AZ to TX. I received a call from an agent from All Pro who seemed extremely knowledgeable & was eager to cooperate and accommodate my needs. I expressed I was on a thin budget, had received several calls, gotten several quotes from $1400 up to $9000. This was new territory for me & I could not understand why the price range was so different. I further explained I didn't have any furniture. We were only moving boxes of clothing & kitchen items.

I was given a final quote of $1400. And asked to have the paperwork sent to me. Because I've never hired a mover before,I read the paperwork thoroughly to ensure there were no hidden fees as I had heard horror stories. Upon reading the documents, I saw verbiage that explained I could be charged additional fees for just about anything; including the amount of stairs they movers had to climb. The paperwork also read as if my negotiated price of $1400 was an estimate and if I was asked to pay more, I would have to call the customer service number to inquire further details.

Another item that stood out was my move could be handled by a broker. When in my initial conversation it was expressed that I was not dealing with a broker.

When I bought these concerns to the attention of the person I was speaking to, his email response was somewhat rude. He went as far to say, "We don't work for free". Even though I never said they did nor expected them to. I found it very uncomfortable to have such a rebuttal to what I thought were valid concerns. As a consumer, it its my right to question anyone that I solicit with the intent to pay them for a service.

Between reading some of the most recent incidents and the interaction with the company's representative. I believe I saved myself a lot o f headache and frustration by not using this company.

Official company response

Hello,
Sorry to hear you did not fell comfortable or felt the sales representative was harsh. After reading the notes on the file and pulling calls I found that the rep went above and beyond to try to assist you. Just seems a full service mover is not in the budget for you. Looks like you were only moving 35 boxes and 2 t.v so I can understand why some might feel this is expensive. Keep in mind the distance you were looking to travel was over 1000 miles. We, and every mover has a detailed contract, which protects both parties. Unfortunately it has to be this way due to the amount of people looking for any reason to file a claim or come after a company. As far as brokering jobs every, every full service mover is a broker. If you look up some of the major carrier in the industry on the DOT it will show as broker/Carrier, just like ourselves. This is for cases where one of our trucks cannot service the area, or an unforeseen issue on the road, cancellation that threw off driver routes, etc. It also shows here the rep got your price lower then the company standard as far as money required for this type of route. Most Mini moves (286 cubic feet) like yours, range from $1500-1900 traveling over 1k miles. That being said there was no reason for you to comment on here. Its obvious the real restraint to your move was your financial position.
-Good day.

Scam Artists.

Their operation is simple but sad, they will go over your inventory list over the phone which will calculate your belongings at a smaller then usual size giving you a really low quote (Which in my case they "accidentally" left of the 20 boxes I said I would have) then request your deposit to hold the move. Well 3 days before the move they call to go over actual dimensions and that's were everything changes. All I added was a queen platform bed and that's when they informed me they didn't figure any boxes the first time around, which makes no sense because how many moves are there with zero boxes. Anyways a queen platform bed and 20 boxes double my move size which makes no sense and now my cost went from $2500 to $6500. Plus they added language in the contract about if you cancel within 5 days of the move your deposit is non refundable. So now i'm out $1000 deposit and thankfully I went to an actual reputable company because they also inform you days before you move it could take 21 days to get your belonging compared to the 5 days I was originally told.

Also don't believe any of these 5 star reviews are actual people who used the company.

Good move overall.

My move from South Beach to Manhattan went well last month. I got a promotion with my firm. The cost was fair. The only issue I had is that I was charged for several flights of stairs. My apartment is in a fifth floor walkup. I wasn’t really clear on the additional charges when the initial estimate was presented to me. All Pro worked with me in a compromise and removed some of the associated fees which I appreciated. Overall a smooth moving experience.

Cross Country Move.

My sister, brother-in-law and I moved from Nebraska to California. We informed our customer rep, Brandon, that we had a 1,500 sq ft home, with 3 bedrooms, basement, garage and shed. After getting a binding moving estimate of $4095.87 we decided to use them for our move. As we got closer to our move date, the price went up to $13,014.37 after we supplied our final inventory. We had no other choice but to continue. Our close date was February 27th and the price went up on February 23rd. At this time, Bill (QA) asked us why we were transporting my brother-in-laws motorcycle on the moving truck. He told us that it would be insured better if we used an auto transport. So my sister talked with Donna and scheduled the auto transport. Donna told her that they would be there to pick up the bike on the 25th or 26th. They never showed up on the 25th for the bike. The movers showed up on the 26th - the job was given to S & M Relo. I had to call Donna because nobody showed up to pick up the bike. She said she was trying to get ahold of her driver and she would get back to me. After 2 pm, I called Donna again. She said that her driver had not returned her call and asked if they could pick it up the next day. My sister told her no because we were closing the next day. She then asked her if she could move the bike. She again told her no, she didn't know how to ride. After some scrambling my sister arranged for transport with someone else and told Donna.

My sister and I arrived in California on March 2nd. Our belongings arrived 21 days after they left Nebraska. My sister called Donna to ask about a refund of her $200.00 for the transport of my brother-in-laws motorcycle. She was informed that they had a 12 month hold on the refund in case she needed to move it again. As of today, she still has not received her refund!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Official company response

Good Morning,

We are sorry to see that this move has come to here and apologize if Travis and Stacey feel they had a bad experience. After reviewing the extensive notes on the file I was able to get a better understanding on the situation.

On Dec. 24th the customers reserved a Move with rep. Brendan. I pulled the recording and he took an inventory that matches the 896 cf. of space. (reflects on the first signed contract) The amount for this quote was 3995.96. Customers went through verification process and move was reserved.

During every move process we do a Quality Assurance call. This takes place a few days prior to pickup, customers have the opportunity to add or remove items from their inventory at the same agreed upon rate. (3.15 per cf. on this case)
during the quality assurance call Travis and Stacy added 1656 cf. to make their move now DOUBLE in size. New contract was sent out to the customers in which they felt was fair and they signed off on. To put this in prospective 896 would not fill up a 26ft box truck. 2552 cf. would require a tractor trailer to fit everything. It is extremely rare that we see an increase in QA of this size. I would question where all this stuff was during the first inventory with the rep. Brendan?
This type of adjustment can logistically change the route that was originally reserved being that a different truck is required. Nonetheless, we still honored the same rate for the customers.
Carrier arrived on 2/26- foreman performed walk around, as they do on every move.

Carrier is onsite.
Walk through with driver. Steve has not spoken with customer yet and is updating us.
He did a piece count, during walk through.
191 are just boxes + totes == 430 PC`s
CX is not done packing, maybe 10 boxes left.
Steve is thinking 3700-3800 cubes onsite.

(Adding 1200 cubes to 3750 total cubes)

Again there were more items on-site and the driver had to charge accordingly.

The notes on file show the customer had an expectation for delivery of the next day. This is possible for a move going 500 miles but in this case the move was over 1500 miles. At no time do we guarantee delivery ETA's. This is gone over in the verification and is all over our contract.

We understand the customer's on their own accord, decided to utilize a hotel in the mean time. I understand that Travis was upset because the hotels bill was starting to add up, which again we have no control over.

Later in the notes it shows that the delivery was delayed due to owed funds to the driver due to shuttle fee's, which were later waived after All pro went to bat for the customers with the carrier.

During the entire process All Pro stayed on constant communication with the customers and did everything we could to help the situation.

Finally, at no time was All pro in breach of contract. We did everything we could to help Travis and Stacey with their move. Unfortunately the inventory kept increasing throughout the move and last min adjustments had to be made. The customers made their own decision to go and stay at a hotel knowing that we cannot guarantee delivery ETA's. If there is anything further that All Pro can provide, we would be happy to do so.
We hope that all parties involved as well as their families, get through this challenging time for our country.

Long-distance move from Glendale, AZ to Charlotte, NC

Cross country move.

All pro seemed really nice but they are only a broker and the company they hired where terrible. Stole my only expensive painting among other things. If an item had wheels , at least one of the wheels was broken. Came a day and a half late which caused us additional worry and costs. They were not prepared, tried to lie and say they did not get updated info from all pro but they did. Put my belongings in 2 trucks and did not tell me they were taking items to a warehouse that was in the 2nd truck(which is how they are able to steal items and probably how so many things were damaged). Did not get that 2nd truck of items for 3 weeks. I am very thankful for what I got even though all my wood furniture had scratches and dings in them, broke the frame on my dresser mirror. Totally damaged my desk- the man who delivered tried to put it together but could not, just shook his head and said no way he could fix it. I am not sure I would ever refer to All pro if they do not screen the local company that they hire any better than they did the ones they hired to move me. I understand that the price goes up as they actually load the truck and get a final estimate but $2000. more seemed a little steep but what could I do we only had 4 hours left to be out because they came a day and a half late. Very disappointed in all the items missing. I did file my claim but it can take them 120 days to process, so I will do without some of my items until I get compensated, hope CSI is a better company than the movers.

Official company response

Hello,
We are sorry to hear that Mrs. Mann had some broken items & delays with the second truck. This is never our intention, unfortunately things happen on the road everyday. Being that she had such a large move, (over 2000 cubic feet) the items
were divided onto 2 trucks. A 26 ft box truck can only handle up to 1700 cf. The 2nd truck had a break down which cause delays. These are situations that happen very rarely but nonetheless do happen with all moving companies. When a situation like this arises we always do all we can to streamline the process and help in any way we can. Being that we did not have 2 trucks available for this particular move, it was contracted out to a network carrier, our contract does list that we use these types of practices during unforeseen situations.
If Mrs. Mann needs any further assistance with her claim what so ever please contact us. Again we apologize for the poor experience. We hope that you can understand we are human and weather or not our intention is to have our best foot forward, things do happen. We hope that Mrs. Mann and her family are well during this challenging time for us all. Please call us if there's anything we can do to help.
Best regards,
-All Pro management.

Long-distance move from Haledon, NJ to Katy, TX

Very bad impression.

This review is based on the initial quote estimate and payment made to this company. My items have not yet been picked up but I am unfortunately bound to their contract and since the fee was almost a $1000k we’ve decided we have no choice. I will update this review once my items have arrived. And will if they try to scam and over charge me file a report with the BBB and call every news outlet and have this company investigated and humiliated as this is the only way to get companies to care about their customers these days.

My father who isn’t tech savvy booked this company for his move from New Jersey to Texas. Today a Saturday. When he called me to tell me he did so I asked him for the company name so that I could verify it was a reputable company. Immediately upon searching this company negative reviews emerged left and right from every website. So I asked him to send me the contract so that I can cancel his order. He told me the lady who he spoke to Christina B. Told him he has 72 hours to cancel. I confirmed this by looking at the last page of the contract named “Cancellation Policy” I contacted Christina who did not pick up but then called me back. I explained to her that I wanted to cancel the order, And she said “I’ll have my manager call you”. 45 mins later she calls me back not her manager. Right off the bat she knew she had us because her tone was very condescending. She was nasty/unprofessional, and hung up the phone on me but not before pointing out we can’t cancel because article 12 on the contract states that if the move is within 7 days that the 72 hour cancellation rule is annulled. My dads move is within 5 days. I pray that he receives all his items and that this company doesn’t try to over charge and steal his money. With everything that is going on with Covid-19 nice people are losing their jobs, and this lady who is clearly motivated by nothing but greed continues to have hers and treat customers like garbage. Her role in full transparency was to tell him about that “article No 12” especially because his English is not good. She took full advantage of this.

Local move within Michigan

Poor.

This company is a broker and did not inform me of this when making my booking. I booked with them in February for a long distance move from Michigan to California. It took over 2 months to receive my belongs with added on charges to both pick up and delivery of my things. After numerous calls to them complaining of where my things were, I received my items. Many broken and discarded that I paid additional money for to be wrapped by them. NEVER AGAIN!! ANYONE looking to use them BEWARE!!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1597

Official company response

Good morning,

Mr. Jackson reserved a move with us on 2/14. Prior to this date he went back and forth with a customer service rep regarding price. Claimed to have a cheaper price with another company. We ended up dropping our rate to the bare minimum for him to help with the move. Mr. Jackson had extremely high expectations for his move and wanted it done at the cheapest price.

On 2/17 customer called in with the expectation of delivery only being 7 days, was then informed a move of this distance takes 14-18 and that the mover have up to 21 days. This was gone over during verification originally right after he reserved the move.

Went over the breakdown with Michael today:

400 cubes total / $146 in packing
$150 long carry

Customer feels these are hidden fees that he already went over everything with Brandon. I tried to explain that if we were packing we would have the packing info on here and we would of confirmed this in verification.

He also thinks his delivery was suppose to take place last Friday (FADD 3/7) which I explained this to him as well. He said no one can give him any information on delivery but every time he calls in he and immediately asks for me. I let him know I JUST received his paperwork yesterday.

He is looking to complain to get money back. He is very combative on the phone and whatever I say he is just looking to argue about. He started to ask for the owners name in which I told him is public information but if he is looking to resolve any issues he needs to be speaking with our managers out of the office. (he wasn`t happy with my answer.

In the end he ended up hanging up on me. I`m going back to listen to the verification since he basically wants us to pay for his packing

Packing other then standard furniture, is an additional service and would need to be paid for. Mr. Jackson thought it was included, if so it would have been on the contract.

Compensation for Mr. Jackson was under review and during this time he charged back with his bank which left him in breach of contract and we would no longer be able to make any type of compensation for his move.

If there are any further questions that need to be addressed please let us know

Long-distance move from Prosper, TX to Norman, OK

Lies!!

Beware!! All Pro told us that they would provide a move with their own people and trucks. In short they tried to broker our move to a company that does a terrible job. Upon learning that they lied about who wold be moving us, we cancelled the move more than 72 hours before the move date. We were required to pay $899.40 as a deposit, and they only offered to refund $300. To sum it up they wanted to keep $599.40 for providing nothing!! Complete criminals!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $899

Official company response

Its unfortunate and disappointing that we arrived at this point.

No, we did not spend weeks planning your move. This move was reserved very last minute. A majority of our moves are reserved over 30 days in advance. Our team scrambled to ensure a carrier arrives on your requested dates. We worked on your move quickly as you trusted us to get the job done properly.

If you reserved airline tickets and decide to cancel last minute there would be no cash refund for the late cancellation. Some airlines do offer a credit to be used on a future flight. If you reserved an AirBnB and decided to cancel last minute, you won`t even be able to talk to a live representative on the phone let alone get any sort of refund back. With almost any business this is standard policy. Its stated in their contracts or mentioned during the reservation process.

We dispatched the job to US Movers Inc shortly after you reserved. They E-Signed on July 16th and accepted the job. We cancelled the move with US Movers Inc over the weekend after you confirmed your cancellation with our General Manager Andrew. If they didn`t take you off their calendar and contacted you then we apologize for the inconvenience.

Our responsibilities, as stated in the signed contract, is to locate and dispatch a fully licensed and insured household goods motor carrier. We did exactly that.
Compensation was offered to this customer in order to find common ground, based on the contract we were not obligated to refund anything. Unfortunetly he declined.

Big scam.

They contract their jobs.

A random truck showed up with no insurance which my building required.

The price was double because it is a scam.

Called the company who took my $750 deposit.

Refused to explain the discrepancy in price and service.

Fighting to get my refund back.

My building would not let the move continue because of no insurance proof.

Beware of this company.

I have informed the BB and getting a lawyer.

Stay away from this company

It is a front for scam.

Official company response

Good morning,

As to the COI-Jeff from AA turned it in yesterday Morning prior to arriving - he had it submitted by or before 9am

We apologize if he didn't have a copy on his person for you. it was for the complex. The main issue was Evelyn was contracted for 286cf. and on site had additional items bringing her over 400 cf. as well as packing services needed. She tried to use the insurance issue as leverage towards her argument.

The carrier assured us they had the certificate of insurance ready before arriving onsite this morning. This was a clearly noted requirement on your file.

Yes, you signed a moving estimate with All Pro. The contract states that our job is to dispatch your load to a licensed household goods carrier, as we did. AA Moving was the carrier assigned. They are insured and up to date with all requirements to be a licensed household goods carrier. They definitely should have had the certificate of insurance, however if they did not then a phone call to us should have been made to fix the problem.

The feedback we received from the carrier this morning was that you required packing materials for certain items to be transported. The movers are responsible for dissembling/ wrapping all standard furniture.

Note from file-

07/07/2020 10:06:52 am SARAH PER LISA - Reach out to Jeff, he is having issues w/ a pickup - SPOKE W/ JEFF @ AA =
Sent truck away - 3 granite top entertainment center = $200 in packing / small volume increase cx absolutely refused any additional costs, asked crew to leave , canceled directly on site -

(we can't just put pieces of granite in the truck without being properly wrapped) This should have been packed by the owner prior to pickup, or you would have the option to pay the movers for packing services.

Further notes from file-

07/07/2020 10:10:26 am SARAH LVM w/ Evelyn asking her to please reach out regarding this attempted pick up

07/07/2020 10:32:06 am SARAH Got Evelyn on line - she immediately just said I just want you to know I already called the BBB, my bank is giving me my money back, canceled her cc , we don`t know who we`re messing w/ and our business is done here, just another fraudulent company out of Florida - she didn`t give me the opportunity to speak, attempted to but she just said we`re done here and disconnected the call
REQUESTED CARRIER TO SEND OVER WHATEVER PAPERWORK WAS COMPLETED DURING THE ATTEMPTED P/U ALONG with W/ CARRIER STATEMENT SUPPORTING THIS IMPROPER CANCELLATION

As you can see we were very reachable during the pickup and the situations that arose. Evelyn was extremely combative and wanted things done her way. We have policies and rules that need to be followed by the DOT when moving state to state.

Attached you will find our signed contract with Evelyn and well as a 2nd attachment from the carrier which is the revised estimate. As you can see the overage amount she claims is not accurate.

Throughout the rest of the day Evelyn continued to email and harass our company, making threats about posting bad reviews until she received her deposit which you will find clearly in our contract, is non-refundable at this point in the move. She has also threatened to have her retirement community write bad reviews to effect All Pro. This would be grounds for defamation and has already been documented and sent over to our legal team.

Article 12 from the contract which Evelyn signed clearly states that her actions on-site constitute grounds for forfeiture of her deposit. (see below)

12. As the customer, I understand that a service refusal, or denial of service, either verbally, in person, or over the phone, will be treated as a late cancellation, outside of the company's set cancellation window. I understand that refusing or denying services, will result in a forfeiture of my deposit. As the customer, I understand that claiming, "services not rendered", requires a written statement, explaining in detail, ALL PRO MOVING GROUP failure to service the job. This completed statement must be emailed to admin@allpromovinggroup.com. I understand that a cancellation made within 7 business days of the scheduled pick-up date, will also be treated as a late cancellation and result in a forfeiture of the deposit, as a carrier has already been assigned and dispatched. As the customer, I understand that if I book my move within 7 business days of the scheduled pick-up date, the 72-hour cancellation window will be null and void.

As a Household Carrier/broker our contract clearly states that we have the ability to sub the job out to a network carrier. These companies as well as ourselves lease the some trucks in order avoid large maintenance responsibilities that follow. A lot of movers use to same business practices and there is absolutely nothing wrong with conducting business in this manner. The accusations that are being made in Eyelyn's previous response are her opinion or what she thinks she saw. We produced the actual documents that were presented on site. The insurance again was provided to the necessary party in order to conduct the move in her community and not provided to her person. If this was that big of an issue, a phone call could have been placed and the COI could have been sent out for her records.
Evelyn agrees that there were additional services that needed to be provided on site that were not on the original contract yet still claims that we are fraudulent? The overage that she claims does not match the BOL produced in our last response, that difference was fair and honest.
We understand where she is coming from as to companies out there in all different industries not doing the right thing, however we feel that she jumped the gun way to fast with false accusations that cannot be proven. It is very sad that there are companies out there that take advantage of senior but we can assure you All Pro is not one of them! We wouldn't take the time to address the matter on the BBB and produce documentation it that were the case.
Evelyn needs to understand that everything has to be accounted for and packed appropriately when moving long distance. We cannot just throw pieces of granite on the truck, they have to be wrapped by the owner or paid to be wrapped by the movers or they cannot go on the truck. We go over with every move prior to booking that the movers are responsible for dissembling and wrapping of all standard furniture. All fragile's, boxes, pictures, and smaller items have to be packed by the owner. Unfortunately, Evelyn failed to do so and claims we are a fraudulent company that takes advantage of seniors because of it. This really saddens us to be accused of such a terrible act when we are an honest hard working American company busting our humps during this challenging time for everyone.
In closing we hope that the BBB has seen the true documents that can actually hold weight and see that All Pro has done nothing wrong as to our business practices. We ask that this matter be closed. Evelyn has charged back the transaction with her bank and because of that even if she were eligible for compensation we do not have the ability to do so, the matter is in the banks hands.
We thank all parties included in taking out the time to read our response today and wish everyone well.

Good Day,
All Pro management.

Long-distance move from Missouri to Connecticut

Terrible!!Dishonest, rude and fraudulent.

I am giving them one star because there is no worse option. They don't deserve even a 1/4 of a star.If you not convinced by the previous reviews that you have to avoid this horrible company, I hope that my experience which is the worst of the worse will convince you to reconsider your decision. They charged me for the whole fees I.e. Deposit+ first payment+sencond payment two months prior to setting up a pickup date(Which is absolutely illegal to charge the customer for the whole amount). They offered one pickup time and then they stopped responding to my messages. Unfortunately, I was not residing at the pickup location and spent +$600 to be there for the pick up during the two days pick up window. They offered one pick up time only and after I told them it is not possible for me, they stopped the communication. I made over 20 attempts(texts, messages, phone calls, emails) to reach out to them and they totally ignored me. Then, a very rude agent called me on Sunday morning. She was yelling at me from the bottom of her lungs and interrupted me constantly and called me a liar many many times. In the end, she told me that they will not reimburse my +$1650, they will not pay for damages they caused and they will not schedule a new pick up!! This is a textbook "Burglary"!

A couple of days ago they reached out to me and offered $150!! Unbelievable!

These are some of the facts you should know about the company 1. This is not a moving company, this is a broker company that hooks up customers and moving companies. 2. They make you sign a contract that enables them to brush off all of their legal responsibilities towards your move. Here is what you will find in your contract: " ALL PRO MOVING CO does not guarantee any pick-up or delivery dates, under any circumstances." also, "ALL PRO MOVING CO is not responsible for loss or damage incurred by unavoidable delays." 3. Also, As the actual moving company picks up your belongings, the actual moving company will make you sign a side contract that might add +500 dollars to your moving fees. 4. In your contract, it is said that they give you a 24-hour customer service but later you will receive an Email about the actual hours of customer service. During after-hours some people(that have absolutely no idea what your message is about) get your message and give it to the office. In the office, they respond to whatever they please. If you have a complaint they will never contact you. That is why all my attempts to reach out to them have failed. This has happened to me even during normal business hours. 5. They will connect you with the worst moving companies ever. 6. Check their US dot number and you will see that their actual business name is not All pro moving group. 6. My actual contract is a binding contract and I have a binding contract I.e." The customer has elected a “binding” price. The total cost will not exceed the estimated amount;" which means that the total cost should not exceed expressed cost in the contract but in the end, they will add some clause that will leave the door for extra charges at the time of the delivery. 7. They don't give you a delivery date. They will not respond to your messages/phone calls therefore, you are in the dark until they decide to ship your stuff. 8. You as a customer don't mean ANYTHING to them. They don't answer your calls, they don't take any responsibility for damages, complaints, and hire random movers to move your belonging. Your stuff will be picked by one company and will be delivered by another one.(What you read in the previous review is very true and has happened to me as well. Notice that I have scheduled two moves in one week with them. one got through with a lot of pain and stress and you just read about the other one. If they treat a customer who has scheduled two moves with them like this, you can imagine what is happening to other people )

At this moment, I have moved to a new town and trying to settle down and start a new stressful job. In addition, I have to pay a lot of money to replace the items that did not move from Missouri. On top of that, I am spending a lot of time to write petitions, complaints, and seek legal solutions.

YOU DON'T NEED THIS MUCH PAIN WHEN YOU ARE AT A CRITICAL START IN YOUR LIFE.BEWARE!!, AVOID THEM. THE

Hello,
Amineh Farzannia reserved a move on 03/24/2020 and made a initial deposit in the amount of 630.79. She then went through a verification call to confirm the work order and make sure all proper expectations can be met. (She did not mention the tight pickup window stated above) Every move has a 2day pickup window unless a customer choosing to pay for a 1 day pickup window, (additional 150.00) Customer are told they need to be available within the 2 day window for pick up. Drivers are coming off of other jobs and sometimes from other states, that being said, guaranteeing exact times is extremely challenging for all long distance movers.
Come Saturday morning during her pickup window customer refused the truck and sent them away!
Amineh was on the phone with one of our customer service manager for about 45min when unfortunately the call became escalated between both sides. Not sure where she is getting all the transactions from, we only charged the initial amount to lock in the move. The other funds she is claiming is entirely false. That portion of the move cost goes directly to the carriers, which she sent away, not sure how she could have paid them if they never loaded the items..
The long and short of this move is you cannot refuse the truck when its inside of your pickup window.

Long-distance move from Kansas City, MO to Murfreesboro, NC

So much broken glass and shattered dreams.

Let’s start from the beginning, we added items to our move and our estimate went up 2.5 times. Now, I understand paying more but we did not add 2.5 times volume of items. This of course happened just 2 days before pickup. So, we quickly downsized to keep costs down.

Next, we were given a delivery range. I checked in and found out our items would not be delivered any where close to that range. At least the squeaked in under 21 businesses days.

Lastly, the broken items including double bubble wrapped glasses from our wedding and a gift from my husband after giving birth to our son.

This company absolutely lived up to the expectations that have been set in 2020.

The only redeeming factor was the delivery team.

Long-distance move from College Station, TX to Columbia, MO

All Pro Moving and Pioneer Moving.

Truthfully, a lot of the issues that came about were due to the fact that All Pro leased out my moving contract to Pioneer Moving (New Waverly, TX), which is a company that I would have NEVER elected to work with based on my experience and after seeing online reviews. They are not forthcoming that this is how they function, and I would really recommend to All Pro that they avoid working with Pioneer as much as possible because my experience was horrible overall.

When Pioneer agreed to my preferred drop off date and then was late (without any communication), I contacted All Pro and initially I was quite put off because the first person I spoke to told me that I should have known they were going to be late because it was the week of the fourth. I didn't realize that the world just ceased to stop functioning because the 4th is coming up?? Finally when we belongings were OVER A MONTH LATE, during which I was sleeping on an air mattress and had to go purchase new kitchenware and a chair so I wouldn't have to continue sitting on the floor, they were really instrumental getting in contact with Rocky from Pioneer. April in particular, was very helpful and continued to call Rocky on my behalf to try and get updates because the information he provided them and sparingly to me was inconsistent. I feel that this company would greatly benefit from ceasing contractual work with Pioneer, because associating with that company will only hurt All Pro.

Hey Lindsey,
Thank you for the Honest feedback. We always take customer feedback into serious consideration. We have since contacted this carrier and put them on a probationary period with us in which they have to prove themselves to us again in order to do business with us. Thank you for mentioning the customer service department as they do work their tails off and do all they can to make sure you have a good experience. If there is anything further we can do please reach out to us. Wishing you and your family nothing but the best in the future.

Long-distance move from Brooklyn, NY to Bozeman, MT

Awful experience.

My experience was horrible. After an initial call with Ian Steele, who promised much but did not deliver any of the following: safe and sound pickup and timely delivery, no lost items, professional movers, masks, and a shuttle truck to pick up and drop off.

The movers themselves broke the contents of several boxes. They even lost one despite everything supposedly being electronically tagged to prevent lost items. They delivered more than 3 weeks after the promised delivery date.

Phoning and getting updates on my move was difficult with more than an hour wait time and little to no actual information on the delivery status. Terrible customer service.

I could not recommend less.
