No Responsibility for Lots of Damage

The price went from 8,000 to 15,000 after the van was mostly loaded. When signing paperwork, I noticed that the delivery company title wasn't AIO, nor did their DOT #s match. A short-tempered worker at the other end of the phone could not duly account for the discrepancies, but assured me "All in One" would deliver. After writing all over the paperwork that "All in One" was the only company authorized to deliver, a company named, "ACIRFA" delivered. ACIRFA showed up in an unmarked truck, 7 1/2 hours later than they had scheduled themselves on the day of delivery. The delivery foreman seemed angry or torqued up on substances and refused to take furniture up the two steps inside. His assistant seemed fearful, hurried needlessly and ended up dumping 5 bins over the ramp's edge. There were lots of broken glass and valuables. We begged ACIRFA to bring in one thing, which was a mistake. The foreman violently slammed our hutch into the wall and floor, causing damage to all three, and knocked the hutch so badly out of alignment that the door won't open. All in One's "Insurance Co." refused to pay for the repairs, even for receipts that were submitted. This pathetic company won't take…

Find another company.

All In One was GREAT while they were pitching me and taking my money BUT once my belongings were on the truck, the story changed COMPLETELY!! Let's be clear: The crew that picked up my belongings was PHENOMENAL!! They deserve so much credit for hauling 116 items down 5 flights of stairs in NYC BUT the customer service once my things were in transport SUCKED and the delivery crew cared less about doing a great job. The WORST PART is AIO has LOST 20 boxes/bins which include many irreplaceable items. They also delivered 2 personalized children's items to me and told me to find other kids to give these items to. I have to believe that is the same response the drivers/company told the customers who received MY items. To make matters EVEN WORSE, Steve doesn't answer or return my calls (he had no problem calling me before the move) AND Kelly responds to my calls like I'm BOTHERING her as she's the primary customer service rep. This company had ONE JOB and they fouled it up royally!!

All on one moving & storage nj.

Don't trust ALL IN ONE MOVING STORAGE IN NJ. We moved from New York to Atlanta.They are thieves and scammers . They stole almost one fourth of our self packed boxes with many valuables. I had to call the police because they didn't want to unload moving truck when they first arrived until we paid them in full before unloading truck . I am use to paying after they finish unloading boxes into our new home.I had to call police to intervene because they threaten to take truck back to STORAGE before unloading till we paid first. The reason they insist. In paying first is because they already stolen some of your valuables that are packed when they arive to final destination. They stole expensive new Martha Stewart comforter sets valued over $300 -500. They stole my daughter 's brand new keyboard and keyboard chair. When I notice it was missing they told me they would ship any missed boxes by mail which was a lie. They never mailed. Worst moving experience ,don't trust them, when I called company to report of missing items they always have me the runaround and out me on hold or ignore or avoid my calls. Don't trust them and don't take that risk of being bamboozled by them.

Long Distance Move.

Worst experience ever. Sales Person (Kim) promised the world: keep me up to date with your contents. We can adjust as you pack. I updated weekly. Based on that it was 4K. Upon loading, it went to 6k. Promised a direct delivery, yet my belongings were transferred to several trucks. When I called on my way to the new place I was put on hold and never answered. I was finally told that the delivery would happen 3 days after the initial delivery date, The truck showed up on day 3. Finally! Yet the driver ran his truck all night and ran out of gas 200 feet from my place. After driving him to HD to get gas cans, the gas station to get the fuel and waiting 4 hours for him to figure out how to get it started. I was promised 2 guys for unloading but only 1 showed up.

Move from Philadelphia to California.

This move was so trying. I had scheduled for my stuff to arrive on November 16th. It took them another 11 days for my stuff to arrive. And when I called on the 15th to confirm that my stuff would be arriving on the 16th, I got told that my belongings didn't leave Philadelphia until the 14th. My belongings got picked up from my former residence on November 2nd! For 12 days, it just sat in storage. Why? I don't know. Also, getting in contact with them was like pulling teeth out. They didn't respond to email (after I had given them deposit and picked up my belongings), and they wouldn't pick up the phone unless I called them multiple times. Lies and delays were what I got. They couldn't even tell me what day the driver would be arriving and refused to give me the phone number of the driver multiple times. It was only 12 hours before the driver arrived that they deigned to give me the number.

In terms of the driver, he was very good. I'm not sure if he had anything to do with my stuff being left in storage until the 14th, so I'm going to assume he didn't. He was fast and very communicative. He moved my belongings without no damage. He worked fast and efficiently, put together…

LOST QUEEN BED AND PIANO for starters.

All in One Moving and Storage lost $2443.86 worth of our household belongings on a move from SUnnyside, Quuens NY to Grand Forks, ND. Bulleted list of complaints:

- My salesman, Alan, told me that they were a door-to-door, A-to-Z moving service and that they did not subcontract. That was a lie. They contracted out my move.

- Alan gave me a specific date they would arrive. The small print actually gives them a 7-14 day window of the requested date. It turns out this is standard in the industry, but Alan verbally guaranteed me a date. That was a lie.

- Somewhere between taking my belongings from NY and contracting my belongings to another company, they lost:

*Custom designed Queen Mattress & Box spring with an $80 waterproof cover.

*Yamaha P-80 Electrong Piano (Touring), Road case and custom-built stand, with several accessories.

*Two, 4-ft tables

*Chair

*Rubbermaid folding step ladder

*Wooden Corner Desk

*Other random items

*All items lost total $2443.86 in value.

- The driver of the arriving moving truck, Salamon Ben Amor, invited me onto the movign truck to see if I could spot our bed and piano. When I got on, I found pearls, other jewelry of my deceased mother, and…

Sales pitch contradicted actual service.

When I contracted with All In One Moving, they pitched 6-9 days from date of pick up. They picked up items on August 21st. The message left for sales rep for arrival date went unreturned. When I called the company, they said they had up to 21 days to deliver from August 28th. So end of September. 5-6 weeks possibly. The person who answered the phone hung up. People contract movers on transparency and honesty. Nothing they pitched was the result. Their response: Oh sorry, we will talk to Steve. Will keep you posted whether items arrive. But only use companies that have references and if they don’t deliver, then report them for false business practices. This was a full-on bait and switch pitch.

Moving complaint and warning.

I just moved a two bedroom apartment from Nevada to new jersey. I was told the move would take approximately 7-14 days. The problem is not who I contracted with (all in one), although when problems arose, they turned there back, completely, on the entire situation. They broke out their deals, as do most moving companies, unless you move enough to fill an entire truck, or move locally.  It was obvious, they found the "Lowest" bidder, which I had not done when finding them. The person who picked up, named Yoval, from daystar moving in las vegas, misled me from day one. You sign a million papers, and it gives them the ability, to screw your brains out.  Read what you are signing, with these type of people.  The shipment took 24 days to arrive, literally, every box was crushed, a mattress disappeared, and the other mattress I shipped (which I bought 8 months earlier, for $1000), had been wrapped when taken from me, and arrived, dirty and unwrapped. To add insult to injusy, it was soaking wet. I mean soaking! That is very strange, as it hasn't rained in las vegas for months.  All the furniture had something wrong, including a leg of one of the dressers I shipped, was knocked…
