Local move within New Jersey

Worst Experience.

My sister in law got this company few months ago.  She and I were in the apartment together, driver called said he was going to be there at 8 and of course didn't show up until 9:15 the day of pick up.  The company gave  her such a low estimate, that is the reason why she went with this company.  However, final price was double the estimate!  Now we know to go online and read reviews because when we questioned all the added expenses the owner was very rude.  They do not know how to do business.  I will be writing reviews about them in the local paper where I live.  People should not be fooled by such company.  For every little wrapping they do they charge which of course was not mentioned to her when she got them.  They made it seem like wrapping items was part of the deal.  The workers they hire wrap every little thing but throw things around (what's the point?) Her furniture was scratched up and on top of it she was treated poorly. They were rude and inconsiderate.  Do not even consider this company.

Don't Even Bother to Use This Company!!

I spoke with a salesperson name Allan, he promised me to deliver my stuff in maximum 6 days, I got the stuff in 20 days, every time I'm calling him, he says he doesn't know when they 'll deliver, they have all boxes in warehouse sitting there and I had to rent a hotel because I have 3 child, when the trailer arrived, all boxes were upside down even with the sign says "This side up",fragile boxes were on the bottom, ripped off boxes, dusty and smashed. In general [EDIT] move. What this company does is they get your stuff put it in a warehouse and wait till they find a trailer going your direction and squeeze your boxes. When the trailer arrived they opened the door most of the boxes and container either mine or other people were broken. The driver ask you for the rest of the money first b4 they unload, and cash only or money order, that you can't fight back with a credit card. Just do not use them.

Long-distance move from New Jersey to New York

Terrible Experience.

I am in shock that this moving company is still in business. They are were so nice prior to hiring them, promised me great service and gave me an incredibly low estimate. However, once the moving day actually arrived.. it became apparent that they are scams and con artists. The movers were supposed to arrive at 8 a.m. They didn't show up until 9:30 a.m.  When I called the company to ask where their movers were I was told you know there is so much traffic and you have to wait. I was shocked by such treatment. I am in NJ and the moving company is only 20 minutes from where I lived which is why I was surprised they were so late. Once they arrived, they had me sign all these papers indicating additional fees for every little thing including tape and wrapping paper (meanwhile on the phone I was told that comes with the moving process). I had to agree to such ridiculous price since that was the last day to move and I had already paid a deposit fee for this company. The movers treated my furniture with no care what so ever. I had to monitor and tell them to please be careful. They left to the destination where the furniture was to arrive at in which they were 3 and half hours late!! THEN THEY DECIDED TO CHARGE ME FOR THOSE 3 and half hours. I called the company to ask them about the situation, they were rude and disregarded anything I had to say. I traveled at the same time to get to destination as movers and only took me 45 minutes. They came 3 and half hours late because its a scam. They had shirts changed and McDonald cups with them.. I told them to be honest next time. My estimate was 450. And final price was 990$. Which was only dinning table, living room and one bed. Total thieves.. Please stay away!

Resolution.

I had written a previous review on this company, that was much less than desireable. To my surprise, a Customer Service representative named Lizzy reached out to me and wanted to try to fix the experience that I had with this company. She assured me that my experience was not common and she was unsure of why nothing was done to reimburse me at the time of delivery. She was very professional, very understanding, and very apologetic. This experience with Lizzy has really turned around my opinion of All in On Moving. She took the time to understand exactly what had gone wrong with my delivery so that in the future this would not happen to myself or any other customer. It was a huge relief to know that human beings do work in this office! She assured me that the driver for my delivery was brand new, but still should not have handled things the way he did, especially regarding my furniture in pieces. She kept in contstant contact with me to make sure that I was compensated fairly for my horrible experience. She liased between myself and her manager to make sure that I ended up happy.

The best thing about All in One moving was that even though I packed everything myself to save the material charge- nothing was broken at all. This means they really do care about the packages they transport. The team that picked up the boxes in New Jersey was helpful as well. They wee fast and diligent. The only thing that went wrong was the delivery which was probably just a series of unfortunate events.

If you use All in One Moving, please make sure to contact Lizzy if you have any issues as she was very helpful. If I had spoken with her in the first place I am sure none of this would have happened the way that it did.

Thanks Lizzy! :).

Long-distance move from New Jersey to Florida

Horrible experience.

All in one moving started out with great customer service. But once they had my furniture and belongings I realized I should have rented a haul and done this myself. The delivery was scheduled for Friday Saturday OR Sunday in Miami. They called me on Wednesday night and told me it was being delivered tomorrow. I was 4 hours away in Orlando on a work night. When I called the office they told me to work it out with the driver. I asked if the driver even knew that we needed a shuttle and I was assured that, yes, everything was taken care of. I called the (outsourced) driver and he had no clue we needed a shuttle since our new apt did not have room for an 18 wheeler. The driver asked me (while I was still in Orlando) if I could rent a Uhaul myself!! When I said absolutely not- as that was what I was paying you 2k for- he finally decided to coordinate it himself. The delivery was 3 hours late and they did not reassemble any of my furniture which wAs included in my contract. NOTHING. I came home to a dining room table, tv stand, and bed in a thousand pieces. They said there was nothing they could do to reimburse any of the 2,200 I had spent. All in one moving is not worth a penny of your money.

Smoothest move ever.

I have actually never written a review online before, but I had such a good experience with All in One yesterday that I had to.  I was moving apartments - actually combining two apartments into one, and I couldn't have been happier.  Hector was the crew head of the three man team, and they arrived EXACTLY at the first minute of the arrival window that I was given.  The crew was speedy, profession, and incredibly respectful.  Everything arrived in perfect condition, and the guys were very careful about not only my stuff, but the walls and other common areas that they were passing through to get into my apartment.  I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing to do a local move.  Their quote was right in the middle of the ranges that I got - low enough to be what I was hoping for, but higher than one that was so low as to sound sketchy.  Worth every penny.

The Worst -- Liars!!

Pickup on time but movers were fast and sloppy with the packing.  Their paperwork was outdated and wrong as we had added a second drop off point.  To stay organied, we agreed to mark which boxes were going to each of 2 different delivery sites (they had been prepared in two groups).  They marked NOTHING except putting their inventory tags on.  I had no way to know which boxes were going where -- plus everything got jumbled together (see delivery).  Final price was nearly DOUBLE their estimate AND they charged us for a parking ticket they got because of parking illegally.  I knew we were dealing with shady people but it was too late. When I called a week later to check delivery, they had no idea we had 2 stops, but insisted the truck would arrive next day (Saturday).  IT DIDN'T.  I called their numbers repeatedly all day and got no answer.  This screwed everything up as I had arranged to have people come and help me, but it was impossible to organize.  I lost time from work and had severe aggravation. Finally next day a dispatcher answered.  The truck had broken down, etc., etc.  Over the next several days I called repeatedly and got different delviery dates and times.  When I finally reached Adamat HQ, he insisted I must have been dialing the wrong tel # as they"always had their cell phones with them on weekends."  A TOTAL LIE.  He was rude and totally defensive.  Sure I was mad, who wouldn't be? DELIVERY--The truck finally arrived and all my boxes were mixed up instead of being organized according to the 2 drop off sites.  I had to crawl around the truck and figure out which was which (really impossible).  I did my best.  The driver and his assistant were very nice and apologized, but it was not their fault.  All in One is a TERRIBLE COMPANY AND DO NOT USE THEM!

Moving Company SCAM!

This is the company's 3rd attempt to maintain a moving company. The other 2 "companies" were shut-down due to numerous violations and stolen goods. The current company, All in One Moving and Storage of Brandon, is managed by "Nathan Parker", but his real name is Nathan Parkhurst. Once you google his real name, you will find that he has a long criminal record, including theft, armed robbery and kidnapping. This guy is dangerous. We contracted with him because we originally received "great" reviews from the employees at our storage unit, Budget. We had no idea of Nathan's previous history due to him providing an alias.
Only half our stuff arrived to us, the other half was stolen and sold off at garage sales. The items we did receive were damaged. There were several boxes that had imprints of shoes because they had purposefully stomped on the boxes. Nathan arrived one day late to pick up our items, and then held our stuff hostage for 7 days. When we finally filed a police report that is when he showed up with 50% of our stuff. They claim to have movers insurance, but that is a lie (or at least they will not provide the information in order for us to make a claim against them). BEWARE! We will be happy to provide pictures of the damaged items at your request. We also have a police report case number we can provide.

Long-distance move from New York to California

My worst fears came true.

So I came to this site to find a cross country moving company and after a few calls I thought I would go with AiO as they gave me the storage I needed plus the move at an affordable price.   At first I spoke with Allan, the guy was professional and gave me a quote of $1,320.00 for one bedroom and some stuff here and there. I booked the date and all. After that I called back after a few days to change the date and they were great about it.   Allan gave me a few tips which I followed and was very clear with everything. Now the for the movers arrive and here where it starts Pat and Miguel start to check everything and decided that they should put extra layers of tape just in case, sure I thought and I knew from what I read that I would be charged for it. Now after they start to tape the stuff and even though I put bright red stickers on some boxes with the word fragile in English and Spanish Miguel goes and flips each and every box disregarding every box. Fine I say to myself I padded everything. Then they decided to put some of my items and smaller boxes in a wardrobe box to "keep them together", then comes the matters which I put it in two heave duty mattress bag, vacuumed and a heavy duty shrink wrap but they decided they want to wrapped it which I told them no, but decide I need to put some blankets on them.   Ok now they moved everything on time and come to the bill they decide that the inside of the building is big and the walk inside the building to the garage is a "long distance" and I get charged $150 for the long walk?!? It was just a few feet walk INSIDE the building with NO stairs. After all that Pat keeps talking and repeating about "the tip" again and again, of course he is saying it is not required but I wanted my stuff to be handled well so I gave them more than a generous tip. Mind you I was not asked for the materials they just kept bringing more I had to stop them.   Now come the delivery time, the driver comes on time was very friendly guy, but because of my experience in Brooklyn I didn't want to be slapped with $150 again. So I had him just unload the stuff in the yard and lo and behold each and every box was miss handled I swear it was like they played football with them even some of the boxes that they double taped gotten loose, good thing I had all my stuff in heavy duty plastic bags and locked. I also had used the Action Packer to store some of my more fragile stuff and the box was deformed and had some locks on it but somehow from all the mishandling it popped out of place. None of my stuff got damaged but the problem was the 18 items were missing. Not 1 or 2 but 18. How, you may ask? All of the stuff, the boxes and pieces for the bed that Pat and Miguel decided needed to be in one place ended up being lost. Because somehow, they decided to empty my stuff from the wardrobe box that they charged me $25 for it. Which they did not catalog any of them. I put labels on each and every box with numbers indicating each item but no they lost them. I of course filed a claim but seeing how they function thus far, I have little hope that my stuff will be recovered. So in short: -I was quoted $1320.00 but end cost was $1,522.43 all are materials not including tips. -Boxes and containers were all ruffed up even though they had fragile stickers. -18 items where lost of most where part for the bed plus a few electronics and foldable chairs. -People over the phone and delivery guy were nice. I would NOT recommend.  .

Disgusted.

Well I trusted in there experience and good reviews with my moving, to find delivery date was not on time. Had to wait for my things to arrive 5 days later from the actual estimated time. Finally at my delivery my items were mixed with others and not only did they scam me when they arrived. they wouldn't show me my things until I paid them but to later find out from the driver there was a leak in the truck and things were damaged. I found missing items, a lot of my expensive bags and clothes were drenched wet and mold on them. I'm still waiting on court to take care of this matter. I would highly not recommend this company to move your things unless you want to be in my boat.. and FYI the owner is a very stupid man and non reasonable and doesn't like to take the blame for his company's actions.

They simply rocked!!

I was under a very tight budget and I had to get this job done in no time. So, finding a reliable company within the budget was quite a task for me. Thanks to my friend who told me about All in one moving & storage. I called there for a quote and talked with Alan about the move. He was very quick to setup an appointment and arranged the entire move flawlessly and most importantly they accommodated my requirements within my tight budget. Everything went really smoothly and quickly and the job was done just before the deadline. After going through the inventory I was happy like anything. It was a race against time and they won the race hands down.

Lost furniture.

I received a quote for $1389.75 and the Sales Person Jay was so friendly and helpfull until I strarted to have problems with the pick up date. Then he refered me to the Customer Care people. I have been speaking to a lady named Morgan and she seems like she wants to help. The day of the pickup the truck was stopped by the Police for driving violations and they were a day late picking up the furniture. They were suppose to be there in the morning and ended up getting there in the late evening. We were not told that we would be responsible for the wrapping tape that they used at $4.00 a role and they sure do use a lot of that. Then after they loaded the truck they said that the furniture took up too much room in the truck and we will be charged another $1,200. At  that point I disagreed with him and he said that I should take it up with All In One moving people. I should have at that time demanded that he unload the tuck. But like another writer we had to be out of the apartment by that night and have it cleaned. I filed a claim and the moving company sent it to a company that is suppose to investigate the loss and make a settlement. This company is called Moving Claims. Well after two months of investigating they made a offer of $68.00 to settle the loss of 12 coffee and end table legs. Mind you that the tables are of no use without the legs. I did speak to Morgan in Customer care and told her that I would be seeking damages and will go to arbitration. The cost of having new legs made comes to $575.. I don't recommend this company at all. The only help I received was that they gave me $435.31 credit. This was off of the 2,570.00 that was suppose to be 1,398.

All on one moving & storage nj.

Don't trust ALL IN ONE MOVING STORAGE IN NJ. We moved from New York to Atlanta. They are thieves and scammers . They stole almost one fourth of our self packed boxes with many valuables. I had to call the police because they didn't want to unload moving truck when they first arrived until we paid them in full before unloading truck . I am use to paying after they finish unloading boxes into our new home.I had to call police to intervene because they threaten to take truck back to STORAGE before unloading till we paid first. The reason they insist. In paying first is because they already stolen some of your valuables that are packed when they arive to final destination. They stole expensive new Martha Stewart comforter sets valued over $300 -500. They stole my daughter 's brand new keyboard and keyboard chair. When I notice it was missing they told me they would ship any missed boxes by mail which was a lie. They never mailed. Worst moving experience ,don't trust them, when I called company to report of missing items they always have me the runaround and out me on hold or ignore or avoid my calls. Don't trust them and don't take that risk of being bamboozled by them.

Long-distance move from Connecticut to Colorado

Terrible moving company bad business practices.

I agreed to a binding and guaranteed contract with all in one moving and storage for $1365.00 to move my belongings from Connecticut to Colorado and I provided the company with an inventory list of everything that I wanted them to take and I expected them to go by the inventory list that I gave them. The first payment the company received was a deposit for $136. On the day of the pickup in Connecticut on 9/18/15 I was not able to be physically present because I was traveling too Colorado in order to find a place to live for delivery. Because I was not there on the day of the pickup the owner of the house my former landlord let the movers into the house so that they could pick up my belongings and I signed no authority over to my formal landlord to add to my inventory I expected them to go by the inventory I provided them with and agreed to. But my formal landlord told the movers to take everything in the room including the dresser drawers which was not even mine it was the landlords and the movers took my clothes in my closet which was also not on the inventory. The movers also dumped all of my belongings out of the drawers of my desk into a big box which I thought was very disrespectful and unprofessional I have moved many times and I have never had movers do that. After the movers picked up all of my items they charged my card $1283.00. And then my owner of the house signed paperwork saying I had in the additional balance of $1283 and the additional inventory and again I never signed any paperwork with the company giving the owner of the house authorization to sign paperwork on my behalf and they did not call me to authorize anything with me that day. The moving company dropped off my belongings in Colorado on 10/21/15 and when they arrived at my house the man in charge told me that they would not deliver my belongings unless they received payment first so I paid them by a cashiers check with protest and I got my belongings. And to make everything worse they took 35 days my belongings to me and my new box spring was dirty and the corner was torn. And the fact that They took things that were not on my original inventory and overcharged me was very dishonest and unprofessional.

Long-distance move from New York to Florida

Horrible Company, Don't Use Them Under Any Circumstances.

Please note that this moving company quoted me $5299.88. I made sure it was a binding estimate – not to exceed. Contract says it is binding and can’t be raised if you have an on-site estimate. I not only had an onsite estimate I asked several times if they could raise that during pick-up and was told only if I added supplies. Funny thing is I actually had less stuff at pick-up then I had when the on-site estimator came out because I donated like 15 bags of stuff. Somehow though day of the move after it was over they said I owed $9636.10. They claim it was because they ended up doing the move by cubic feet. If that was the case that is the estimator’s fault. You can’t almost double a BINDING estimate. I had no choice but to sign the papers they gave me though and pay the charge because they had my stuff on a truck and I had to vacate my apartment that night. They even made me sign something saying I wouldn’t dispute that charge. It’s not worth the paper it’s written on though because they obviously have you sign that document because they knew it was disputable. Fast forward to delivery day and almost every single piece of my furniture was ruined. Also they had commented that my inventory increased by a certain amount and they kept ttrack of that by putting stickers on items. It’s supposed to be one sticker per item and they are numbered 1 – 150 or something. Well I noticed certain items have several stickers on them. For instance I took a photo of one mirror that had 4 stickers on them (105-108) so in their final inventory they listed that particular item four times so it appeared I had three more items than I did. That is just the one example. I have to look at other boxes to see how many times this happened. Meanwhile I had to pay the final balance of $4,568.05 in cash and I have a receipt showing that. All in all this move was atrocious and with the damage they caused to my furniture it is going to cost me a fortune.

Long-distance move from Pennsylvania to New Jersey

Failed to Deliver Items.

I was moving from PA to NJ on the 1st of June.  I had called quite a bit in advance for estimates, so my estimated number of boxes was on the low side.  I called the office the Friday before the move to inform them of the difference.  I was concerned that the truck might not be large enough.  I was told that it would not be a problem since the truck was large enough for twice the original estimate.  Apparently he never advised anyone of my call and they put a load from their warehouse on the truck prior to reaching me.  Once the truck was completely packed, there were still two chairs and a table left to go on the truck.  The driver called the office and was told to leave them since I was over my estimated cubic feet.

I called the office the next day and was told that they would pick up the items the next time they had a truck in area I had moved from.  Subsequently, they advised me that they would be picking up the chairs on Saturday, June 6.  Saturday came and went and no chairs.  I called again on Monday and I was advised that they could not fit them on the truck this time either.  After much back and forth, they said they would pick up the chairs on Wednesday, June 10 and I said that was fine.  What they did not say was that they were bringing them back to the warehouse not delivering them to me.  Now I'm told that they will deliver the next time they are in my area.  The warehouse is only 50 miles away from me.  I offered to have someone pick them up if they would cover the cost.  I gave them a deadline of two weeks before I filed complaints and poor reviews.

I did all that I was supposed to do, I advised them of the additional items as well as paying more than the original quote, which I had no problem with.  After paying out over $1,500.00 I still do not have my chairs and table that will cost me from $500-700 to replace.

Long-distance move from Fairfax, VA to Tampa, FL

Horrible.

We are a military family and were assigned to a VA company called All in One Moving in Woodbridge,VA to do our move from VA to FL. Cartwright Movers were our Military assigned company. They contracted All in One to do the actual move.

So far, it has been horrible and very unprofessional. It started with the lack of communication. No one called to set up a Pre-Move house inspection, which is typical and should always be done, to ensure that the correct amount of packing materials and any special boxes, crates, etc, be prepared for the day of the pack out. I had to call my self, three days before the pack out date, when no one had yet to contact us. I was told that they would come out the next day to do the inspection. The next day happened to be July 4th. Of course they were never planning to come out. They said they would have someone call me back and this never happened. We called again and ended up doing the pre- move over the phone. I am an artist and needed specific packaging for my original paintings.

On the day of the pack out, they came unprepared, with not enough packing materials. They didn't have the right size truck or crates to put our HHG into.
Our things were taken away and put into a storage place, but we thought we had a door to door move. It sat in storage for almost two weeks before it could get to us in FL. I'm not clear on why this happened, when we had our new house ready in FL. When I called, and could finally get a hold of some one, I was told that the scale was broken to weigh the truck, or that they were waiting on transportation to come pick it up. When it finally did arrive in FL, it was put into another storage place. We are still waiting We were given a no later delivery date of 7/28. We had our delivery on 8/9/2017.

We are missing 2 or 3 units. I called today to inquire about the missing crates. I spoke with Anthony Smith, and he has not yet returned my call. When he finally did return my call, he was arrogant and oblivious to anything going on within our move. He was rude and hung up on.
I haven’t heard anything.
We are missing 30 to 40 large HIGH VALUE paintings (Marked as HIGH VALUE and recorded in our paper work. I am also missing a large custom built wood art crate filled with my original art work- also HIGH VALUE. I am also missing a large crate art box, also filled with my original art work.

The paintings missing are large, 48 x 48 inches and 36 x 36 inches and other various sizes in between.

In the missing crate units, also, was a bike, flat screen television, and other things. We have contacted Cartwright to help in tracking down the missing units. They are going through the process with us, but they told us to contact All in One first. They should be responsible for doing some checking, for they were the originator of our move.

We have also started the process with JPPSO (Joint Personnel Property Shipping Office) through the Army to look into this matter and make a claim against All in One Moving.

I had many paintings damaged that were not packed correctly. Original art work was packed together in one box. It needs to be tightly packed, alone in the correct packing box. It should not be able to "float" around- causing it to become damaged.
The pack job of my art work and most other items was careless and lazy.

We have moved around 8 times and this move was the worst by far. This company should not be allowed to be in business.

This missing crate is most of our high value things, which includes all of my very large original paintings on canvas (25 to 40 are unaccounted for) I am still counting. The missing paintings range in size from 36x36", 48x48', and in between sizes. Many are from years of work and many are paintings that I planned to have in galleries, here in Tampa and art shows. The paintings sell for $500 to $4000, depending on size and painting.
In this crate, is also my custom made wood crated with a lid, that holds many of my paintings. It is large and was filled with my art work when shipped.

I don't care about the other items in the missing crate..television, bike, more that I can't think of.

Although, they would be nice to have.

My husband and I have called all the resources we are aware of at this point to get help in this matter.

We have asked for help with the following questions;
No one has told us the steps to take to track this crate.

1. Where did the truck go in between leaving Woodbridge, VA and arriving to Coleman Storage in Tampa, FL

2. Is there documentation (tracking recorded) showing that this crate/unit actually left All in One Moving in Woodbridge, VA? Was it on the truck with our other crates?

3. When it arrived to Tampa with Coleman, was it accounted for?

This is not a typical HHG crate. It is original art work that can't be replaced.

All In One Moving, Saddlebrook, NJ..STAY AWAY..

I would caution anyone to keep far away from this company for your moving needs. The movers (Henry and Danny) moved too fast and were careless resulting in damage to my antique mahogany furniture..there were scraps gouges and scratches. The leg was broken off of my antique side chair and this Henry broke my ceiling fan. The relocation agent (Alan Stern) took an indifferent and unprofessional attitude when I told him about these issues. I was told to call someone named Pan who never returned 3 phone messages. I put these charges on my credit card which is now is dispute. In addition, I am considering legal action against this company. Enter at your own risk and don't be fooled by the slick website and blah blah copy. This company is as shoddy as they come. BEWARE.

We could not wait to move to Florida after we both retired. We sold the house that we lived in for the last 33 years and interviewed the moving companies. For our move, we picked the moving company with reasonable charges and great promises. The company Representative kept calling us describing a quick and easy process. They would bring all the packing materials, pack the content of the house and deliver it quickly and safely to Florida. We signed and gave the deposit. As we were waiting for the closing on the house, we packed our things ourselves, leaving the large pieces like chandeliers and paintings for the movers. We had a furnished condo in Florida already for a few years, so we did not move the furniture, except for a few chairs and side tables. The movers came on time, marked the boxes and said they will pack the chandeliers, mirrors, paintings and the other large pieces themselves. As they started to load the truck, we noticed that the truck was almost full already with somebody else’s things and they did not have enough space for our boxes. That was the morning of closing on the house and we had to be out by 11 am. They left our things in the garage and promised to pick them up next morning before 9 am, so the new owner would be able to move in. They gave us the papers to sign, “Sign here and here, please,” and we were shocked to see the price going from $1100 to $2400 so the cost more than doubled. OK, I thought, maybe initially they did not estimate right. Stupidly, we paid in full, even that they did not have enough space in the truck. They returned next morning, 3 hours late to pick up the rest. Two weeks after the date we requested delivery, they called and said that 18-wheeler-truck is scheduled in the week. We told them that our development could not accommodate 18-wheeler. What do you think? Next week they delivered about 10 % of the load in miserable condition, broken and bent. Even handles on metallic tray were broken off, not to mention paintings, chandeliers and china. They did not pack anything, just threw metal and glass rapped in the thin paper in the much larger boxes! When we called them, they stated they already delivered the rest. It took calls, yelling, and another week for them to find our things and another 2 weeks to deliver. In the same destroyed condition! After all, they demanded another $400 because they sent 18-wheeler again (!) and needed to rent smaller truck to deliver. We have boxes and boxes of broken valuables and we still missing at least four 60lbs-boxes, not delivered! All this cost three time more than an estimate, loss of family heirlooms, aggravation, chest pain and a lot of money! “Insurance” cried the movers. Well, we and many others just like us, do not hold our collective breath. The movers’ insurance covers 60 cents per pound. So if we had to change broken frames and glass on three paintings, they would pay for how much these painting weight! When strangers came to your house and took your things it called robbery, some people are going to prison for that. When people came to your house, said that they are a reputable business, you paid them $3000 and they took your beautiful things, destroyed and lost them, that called “the moving” and there is no repercussions! Just the crooks!

Wonderful Company.

My move went perfect. Customer service was a pleasure to work with. Debra was responsive and very informative. The estimate is very accurate and very easy to understand.
They packed so carefully that there was not one single item that was broken. The crew was polite and professional. I took about to weeks for them to get my house in California. The movers put everything back to together and in the appropriate rooms. I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants a good price and professional service. I want to thank John and the entire crew that helped with this stressful process.

Long Distance Move.

Worst experience ever. Sales Person (Kim) promised the world: keep me up to date with your contents. We can adjust as you pack. I updated weekly. Based on that it was 4K. Upon loading, it went to 6k. Promised a direct delivery, yet my belongings were transferred to several trucks. When I called on my way to the new place I was put on hold and never answered. I was finally told that the delivery would happen 3 days after the initial delivery date, The truck showed up on day 3. Finally! Yet the driver ran his truck all night and ran out of gas 200 feet from my place. After driving him to HD to get gas cans, the gas station to get the fuel and waiting 4 hours for him to figure out how to get it started. I was promised 2 guys for unloading but only 1 showed up.

Vt to Fl-2019.

After my move was complete, I started reading these reviews. In researching prior to the move, it was obvious that the entire industry is broken and despicable. As just about all the negative reviews say, prior to pick-up, you're treated like royalty. Once the movers pack the truck, you are more than very likely in for a very unpleasant experience. Lies, delays and more lies are pretty much the norm. And let's not forget the extortion.
I will say the delivery driver, Josh, was a good guy and fast worker. He didn't, however assemble anything. I guess I consider myself fortunate in the fact I had little damage and only a few missing items. Delivery took 3 weeks from my arrival date.
I would caution anyone to avoid this company, but truth be told, I am pretty sure this type of service is industry-wide.

Long-distance move from Philadelphia, PA to Santa Clara, CA

Move from Philadelphia to California.

This move was so trying. I had scheduled for my stuff to arrive on November 16th. It took them another 11 days for my stuff to arrive. And when I called on the 15th to confirm that my stuff would be arriving on the 16th, I got told that my belongings didn't leave Philadelphia until the 14th. My belongings got picked up from my former residence on November 2nd! For 12 days, it just sat in storage. Why? I don't know. Also, getting in contact with them was like pulling teeth out. They didn't respond to email (after I had given them deposit and picked up my belongings), and they wouldn't pick up the phone unless I called them multiple times. Lies and delays were what I got. They couldn't even tell me what day the driver would be arriving and refused to give me the phone number of the driver multiple times. It was only 12 hours before the driver arrived that they deigned to give me the number.

In terms of the driver, he was very good. I'm not sure if he had anything to do with my stuff being left in storage until the 14th, so I'm going to assume he didn't. He was fast and very communicative. He moved my belongings without no damage. He worked fast and efficiently, put together everything that I asked for and helped double check to make sure that all my belongings were in my apartment before he left. I would advise everyone to never use this company unless you want a stressful move and to sleep on air mattress for almost two weeks.

Long-distance move from New York, NY to Minneapolis, MN

Sales pitch contradicted actual service.

When I contracted with All In One Moving, they pitched 6-9 days from date of pick up. They picked up items on August 21st. The message left for sales rep for arrival date went unreturned. When I called the company, they said they had up to 21 days to deliver from August 28th. So end of September. 5-6 weeks possibly. The person who answered the phone hung up. People contract movers on transparency and honesty. Nothing they pitched was the result. Their response: Oh sorry, we will talk to Steve. Will keep you posted whether items arrive. But only use companies that have references and if they don’t deliver, then report them for false business practices. This was a full-on bait and switch pitch.
