Long-distance move from Delray Beach, FL to Memphis, TN

Delray beach florida to memphis tn.

I was concerned about the transition moving to Memphis Tn. from Florida but Vince Perrano with Agility Van Lines was very professional and handled any of my concerns in the most professional manner. They were very competitively priced but exceeded their value when it came to service. The Rivero Brothers was assigned to my move and delivered all of our belongings dent free. I would recommend Agility and the staff especially the Rivero brothers to anyone needing a good price and quality service. Thanks again, Ron W.

They picked up and delivered my goods within the window they promised, and my furniture arrived in the same condition they left. Thank you guys so much for taking well care of my goods. My move from New York to Orlando was a very easy transition thanks to Vince and his staff. I was a bit nervous since this was my first out of state move. Long-distance move from Isle Of Wight, VA to Kingsland, GA

Va to Ga.

Moving with Agility Van Lines was an experience of both highs and lows but their team of movers and staff always maintained great customer service and professionalism. Our move was a long distance one which spanned over a 3 day period. Alex and his team of guys arrived ready to work and literally worked from sun up to sundown. If you choose Agility to move you, definitely request Alex and his team. They were very careful to securely wrap and pack all of our valuables and deliver them without incident. They were patient with the staging of our home and very helpful. When a discrepancy did arise, the owner personally got on the phone with us to resolve it to our satisfaction. Somer, the lady who coordinated the move worked overtime to help us get the dates we wanted. When you move with Agility Van Lines, they treat you like family.

Long-distance move from Channahon, IL to Evans, GA

IL to GA.

The way that this company handles things, you can tell they are experienced and that you are in the right hands. We have a stunning grand piano and that was my biggest concern. I made sure when I initially set this up that I made it clear to Vince that this piano needs to be handled with great care. Vince assured me it would be handled correctly and would not be damaged. Well once my goods were delivered the piano had not a scratch or dent on it. I am super impressed. Shane the owner reached out to me and he was a gentleman and very helpful. I spoke with a young lady named somer and she kept in contact with me, she was just wonderful and such a pleasure to speak with. When the guys arrived, they wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped and they were very nice and professional. I was picked up on January 13th and delivered on January 16th (yesterday). I overall am extremely pleased with the service you guys provided me and my family and I am so glad I chose Agility van lines. My mother is looking to relocate by May and I can assure you she will be going with Agility as well. Thank you Vince, somer and Shane for your outstanding work.

Long-distance move from Lexington, KY to Naples, FL

Couldn't of been smoother.

Moving has me hysterical, and reading all of these moving company's review gives me anxiety because who the heck do you go with everyone says so many horrible things. That is why i'm taking the time to write this review and It might help or not but my experience with my move really couldn't have gone smoother. This company does what they say they will do. They delivered my stuff on time and nothing was damaged. I hope they stay in business to help bring hope in customer service back!

Long-distance move from Pittsburgh, PA to Chicago, IL

Agility IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! I have high standards for awarding a five star review. Additionally, I have been through many moves with various companies. None come close to this company’s level of care, attention to detail, knowledge of proper handling of goods, strategic loading of their truck, packing a unit with my need's accounted for and SO MUCH MORE. I really cannot say enough about how AMAZING this company is.

Long-distance move from New Jersey to Florida

Awesome.

I've never used a mover before and I was nervous.
They made it very easy for me.

When I contacted movers I was also contemplating doing it myself. Rick, the salesperson from Agility convinced me using Agility would be much easier on me and not much more expensive then renting a U-Haul. I'm glad I took his advise. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Long-distance move from Florida to Maryland

Great Move.

Needed to move from Florida to Maryland in short notice. I spoke with Alex at Agility Van Lines and felt he was very concerned and genuine with my current situation and was truly trying to help me. Alex took a lot of time helping me and never tried to rush me. He was a great help and his company did a great job. We were picked up on time and delivered as promised. Thank you and the guys for all that you have done. I hope I don't have to move any time soon, but if I do I will definitely call you. Jeanne.

Don't do it! not worth the hassle!

Moved from FL to CA and couldn't have imagined the amount of unneeded stress from any moving company, even after hearing horror stories from friends about other companies. I have no idea how this company has so many good reviews, I can only assume it's friends and family of the company.. OH- know this- the sales team are pros! They're fantastic to deal with and provide you with a lot of information.. but once your order is processed, that all changes- and your original guy will NEVER call you back nor help you out again. anyway- to the point.. errr- points: - sales guy gave me a move out date (July 12). Said usually they give a 2 day window, but he could guarantee a specific date since it was in Orlando. Also told me they would definitely 100% deliver prior to August 1st. None of this was true. - Had to call them multiple times the days leading up to the move out in order to get a time. - Called again evening before the move date to get a time since I hadn't heard back. only then was told my moving date would be different. I expressed concern, as I was flying out that following day and was told it wouldn't be a problem- they would be fast and get there early. (also, my roommate took the day off work.. now unnecessarily. This will be a factor later) - movers showed up 45 minutes later than the 2 hour window day of move (July 13th).  - bf and I almost missed my flight on move out day due to the movers.- PS- it was only a 2 man team for the move out - noticed after they left that they inventoried ALL of my items (including some almost brand-new furniture) as "old/scratches all over." they were so late day of that I couldn't check this. the nicest bits were only a few months old) - I had very clear piles of boxes and items to distinguish mine vs. my roommates. Since they came a day later AND were late, my bf and I spent most of our time packing up things we had paid them to pack up (glass table tops)- instead of watching all the stuff. Also, my roommate wasn't able to help watch them since she took the original scheduled date off work and couldn't change her schedule.. they ended up with one of her boxes. They were mostly helpful in getting the box back to her (we realized it the following day). They wouldn't bring it back to the house, and I was already in CA. Three days later I got a call while I was at work saying that the box was downtown orlando and I needed to come pick it up from someone's house within the next hour.. so- no warning, and I wasn't in town. Roommate was busy too. Luckily, the place was right next door to a bar, and the bar agreed to hold it for us! (I gave them a great review on yelp!!). So she eventually got it back. - I heard no updates on when they would definitely arrive in LA, and I was rushing to find an apartment in time.. I settled on a place *just* in time for July 31st move in date! (note, I settled.. had I known I had an extra 2 weeks to find an apt..) - Had to call them multiple times to try to get a date. Finally heard about their customer service department (methinks they hired that company just at that time, since it came about as a surprise one day after talking to a single person at Agility over and over).. was told to make a request online and wait for a confirmation.. so- still no information. Told them the sales guys (Brandon and Michael were mine) told me it would be delivered by July 31st.. They told me the contract said 7-21 days from date of pickup.. of course, pickup was one day late.. so now I'm told it should be delivered by the 3rd. - Here it is august 3rd. I'm in my new, and empty, apartment. Thanks agility van lines. - I call every other day or so trying to get an update. and am finally told that my stuff has LEFT florida after the 3rd (to recap, it was supposed to ARRIVE by the 31st) - I find out one day ahead that they're coming on the 13th. I guess that's normal, but it was definitely the worst day they could have chosen for me to miss work. I planned to come in the second half of the day, which would be ok.. except.. - movers showed up 45 minutes later than the 2 hour window again (different movers).. I thought it might take 3-4 hours. it took over 5. I missed a very important day of work. - movers brought in various items and boxes that weren't mine. I caught most of them before they made it upstairs. One item, a beautiful, large, old mirror made it into my apartment. I told the guys it wasn't mine. He said it was too heavy to bring back down- "take a look," he said, "if you like it- it's yours!".. I told him again that it was not mine. he asked again if I wanted to keep it.. he finally took it back downstairs. This happened with another few items. One item they brought back downstairs and later we found it was still there when they had gone.  They left it outside (it was just an ikea end table, so much less a big deal than someone's potentially antique mirror).  - I'm missing (I wouldn't say "Stolen"- just missing) 2 boxes. some boxes & furniture damaged.

Long-distance move from Florida to Missouri

Agility Van Lines.

Do NOT hire this company for out of state moving!!  I was lied to by Shane, the Representative that came to my home on the day of pickup about the fact that my shipment would probably be delivered in the truck that was loaded.   I had trouble getting someone to answer my calls or return calls after pickup.  I was told that I would get a call one to three days prior to delivery.  I was contacted less than 24 hrs. before delivery.  I have a large barbeque grill, 2 box springs, 1 mattress, garden tools , cheval mirror, etc missing.  Most of the boxes were smashed and every piece of furniture is damaged with holes, stains,  scaring, water damage or broken.  Inside the smashed boxes are broken dishes and damaged items.  One box was wet inside and out.  I was told by Shane that the items would be placed in the correct room but delivery men said not their job.  I will update and post pics at a later date when all the boxes are unpacked and the update on missing items.

Go With These Guys!! They Are Great.

Agility Van Lines were VERY impressive. Good prices and the guys were great. I wasn't just a number to them. They took great care with my expensive items and wrapped everything so good. It made a stressful move less stressful for me and my family. The sales rep Michael was very professional and the crew (Shane, Tommie and Kendrick) were amazing. Definitely check these guys out for your move. I've told 3 of my friends about them already.

Long-distance move from Georgia to Florida

Happy Camper.

I was skeptical at first to use this company because of the negative reviews I saw online. But after speaking with Michael and Austin and reading the positive reviews about Agility Van Lines I decided to give them a try. The estimate was competive and a little more than I anticipated but it was worth it. When the movers arrived the estimate was more so I called to question them about this. Customer service helped me understand why the cost increased and I was allowed to remove some items to stay within my budget. The movers were sympathetic to my situation and allowed me to add a few of the items I had removed at a discounted price. When I could not speak with customer service the representatives at the office did their best to assist me and made me feel at ease. I was contacted before my delivery and informed of the cod at delivery but I needed to pay with a credit card. Although this was against company policy they allowed me to pay with a credit card. I received my things the same way they were picked with the exception of a missing box which was later found and delivered to me. The owner Shane was very apologetic and assured me I would rcv my box once located. Which I did rcv from Fedex. Overall I would recommend Agility to my friends and family.

Outstanding Job.

I have personally dealt with several moving companies in the past. I rarely have a good experience, however this was not the case with Agility Van Lines. Everything that we went over on the phone was carried out precisely as planned. What stood out the most was the customer service. From the initial call, to the movers arranging furniture on delivery, everyone was extremely professional. AVL is running a great operation and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

Excellent Move.

Thank you Agility Van Lines for a great move. Michael was awesome and was always able to help me. Tommy and Antoine packed all my dishes and wrapped everything. They worked very hard and did a great job. I felt very comfortable and confident that they were doing well. I could tell they knew what they were doing. I was hoping to get my stuff by Thursday, instead they arrived Friday morning. I told Michael Friday the latest, so I was ok with it. That was the only time I got a little nervous. When I called Michael Thursday he told me they were going to be there by 9:00 tomorrow. When Tommy and Antoine arrived Friday morning I was relieved. They were both as professional and careful as they were at pick up. Antoine helped me unpack my dishes and put them away. Thanks again to everyone and will refer friends and family to Michael.

Long-distance move from Washington DC to Oregon

Tldr: $2000 more than quoted; helpful until contract signed. Then a frustrating and defeating experi.

I keep planning to come online to warn people away from Agility Van Lines, but just thinking of the time it will take to write up my whole saga with them is exhausting. I will probably do that someday, but honestly the fighting I did with them, and the extra $2000.00 they essentially stole from me during the already-stressful process of moving has worn me down.    Save yourself a world of frustration, time, and money, and stay away from Agility Van Lines. I'll try to get on here later to share the whole disaster that was my move with them this last June/July, 2015.

Horrible experience.

HORRIBLE!! Didn't call the week of the move as to the pick up day and time until the morning of. Didn't call of as 1.5 hours late on pick up day, didn't return phone calls, wound up not showing on moving day and called at 5pm to reschedule for the next day when my moving time was 1pm. Was 1 hour late the next day. Did not inform me the drop off had to be in cash. Lost 1 box of my personal belongings and still has not returned ANY phone calls. Completely unprofessional and I have not been compensated for any of my troubles with the company, not even a phone call apologizing for the inconvenience. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Long-distance move from Florida to Massachusetts

Successful move not without problems.

Agility gets mixed reviews from me.  They moved my elderly mother's belongings from Florida to Massachusetts without losing or breaking anything – always admirable in movers.  And the movers who picked up and unloaded her stuff were great to work with.  They are assets to the company.  However, there was more than one epic fail in the customer service department - including a big mistake on their part that the owner ignored while it snowballed into a ridiculously stressful experience for me.  Shane, the owner, did eventually make good on the problems and assured me that future customer complaints will be taken seriously and dealt with immediately.  He says he's made changes in the company because of my bad experience.  I sure hope that's true. .

Most Unprofessional Movers Who Charge Exorbitantly; Not Recommended.

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MOVERS BUT CHARGE EXORBITANTLY!!
MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVERS

Initial quote being about $6000, when movers came to load, it was suddenly MORE THAN $10,000!! the movers who load were not professionals as I was told; they packed very very poorly; electronic in cardboard boxes without and covering; plastic cups in many layers of paper, while glass items just thrown about; glassware broken, dining table chair broken, sofa scratched up, chairs broken, lampshades broken, lost screws for the mirror for bedroom set and unable to hook it up; no unpacking of electronics; and KEPT ASKING FOR TIPS; after they had to make trips back because they forgot to take items in the house!!
VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS
to compensate they offered $$173.40 but I had to waive my right to post anything on social media. then they offered $$323.40!!

Very Pleased.

My move from New Jersey was very good thanks to this company. It was tough for me to move to another state after being in New Jersey my entire life but they made the moving experience better than I expected. There was a slight issue with the delivery date. My new house wasn't ready until a Friday and they wanted to deliver on the Wednesday before. Thankfully we were able to work it out and I received my belongings on the Saturday after I moved in. I would recommend these guys!
