Long-distance move from Brookeville, MD to Clayton, GA

Excellent friendly service

Moved from MD to GA in the mountains. The MD crew was very professional, and I didn't lift a finger. In GA our driveway is essentially a ski slope that the 495 truck had to park at the bottom of. The guys just looked at it and started hauling stuff up to house with no alarm. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Long-distance move from Purcellville, VA to Leland, NC

Out-of-State Move

Prompt and extremely courteous with vast knowledge of packing all items,

including very fragile items (china, lamps, artwork). This was a move from VA

to NC and they made the process easy. I specifically recommend Melvin &

Randall who were paramount to the success of my move and they were

absolutely wonderful! Dean, who scheduled and coordinated everything was also incredible.

Local move from Rockville, MD to Potomac, MD

Two stage move/storage by 495 Movers

We were planning a move, and quality was more important than price. We did not want our precious things hurt in the move.

Our move was local, but in two stages. In the first stage of our move, we planned to pack-up and move some of our stuff and store it while selling our current house. The second stage comes after we buy a new house, and we will want to move all our stuff to the new house. In the second stage we plan on packing up and moving the rest of our stuff from our old house plus moving the stuff that was stored by 495 Movers.

In the first stage, we had a very positive experience with the initial pack-up and move. Leo, the supervisor of the packing and moving team, paid attention to our desires and communicated those desires to his team. In the packing, we were so impressed by how quickly and pleasantly his team worked, but also how carefully they packed all our precious possessions, with the same care that they might if those had been their own possessions.

We look forward to the second stage of our move going as positively as the first stage.

The Dynamic Trio

The movers and shakers! Juver, Gabriel and Edwin Ferman the trio were awesome! The three fellas, all had the best attitudes, best energy and hard working men. My husband and I could not have done the move without them. I am really impressed with 495 movers and management ( Tom ). I would highly recommend 495 movers, they were the best!!

Long distance professional move

The overall estimate preparation, move consultation, explanation of process and charges, as well as, the customer service was excellent. We were contacted at each stage of the moving process and all staff were friendly and punctual. The moving crew was efficient, careful, and professional in all regards. Easiest long distance move pick up we have experienced with over 4 interstate relocations. Clear communication with customer was key.

The 495 Movers Team was on time, and worked well and closely as a choreographed team. They were efficient and very careful with every lift and box/item move. They achieved a zero damage move day. The move team completed my local move ahead of time expectations. I also appreciated the pre-move coordination and guidance from the pre-move estimator; and, the detailed explanation of what to expect and how I could be better prepared for the big day. Moving made easy

I cannot say enough how excellent my move with 495 movers went this past weekend. The team was professional from the moment we spoke on the phone to the moment the movers arrived. The estimate was exact to the hour the pricing was upfront with no hidden costs. I completed my inventory as requested and later added an additional storage unit and 495 movers was able to accommodate me. The team came prepared with tools, extra boxes, and packing supplies. They quickly broke down furniture and handled all my items with care. In addition they remained focused throughout the job and ensured that all of my items were set up correctly and in my desired location. I could not have asked for better movers. I highly recommend 495 movers and would use them again for my moving needs.

Local move within Jefferson, MD

Move review

We hired 495 Movers for a local move, about 3mi away. First, When the estimate came in and 22 hours, 5 movers, 2 trucks over 2 days, we thought no way. But indeed the estimate was spot on. 2ndly, all 5 busted their backsides across all 22 hours, they did so over approx 750 moving boxes and some heavy furniture and appliances. The only reason we are not giving them 5 stars, one of the movers stepped through our garage ceiling and didn’t tell us about it, which admittedly struck us as odd because they were so professional. The main office has been ultra-responsive and we strongly recommend 495!

Long-distance move from Washington DC to Florida

Long distance moving

Great service on a very extensive move. Both teams, pick-up & drop-off, worked efficiently. All items were packed carefully and unpacked at the destination carefully. Our moving estimate was pretty much on the dot. No surprises.

Team members were courteous and were supported by administrative staff that stayed in touch. If this was a publicly traded company, I'd buy stock!
