Worst experience ever had.

I really had a worst experience with them. I am really surprised by seeing this kind of 4 star rating. I am sure their own people wrote these reviews. Beacuse its not only me who suffered, I have friend who also had similar worst experience with them. Also if you want know properly about them go to "Better business bureau" website and look at the complaints on them. I myself filed one but yet no response from the company. Once they get your belongs they try to extort you for money in different possible ways. They make you sign the agreement with really different terms than what they mention in their online or telephone quote . All the terms and conditions are favorable only to them. Can you imagine a condition which says that the final delivery date could take a maximum of upto 30 "BUSINESS" days from the day we mention our exact destination. Also another condition says that there is 7 or 15 days grace period for them beyond those 30 days. Also I wonder if there is any apartment community or a home neighborhood which has a parking for 14 wheeler truck. And they charge an additional shuttle cost due to lack of that parking while delivery. When I said additional amount don't think it will be 100 or 200 bucks. They don't mention any fixed price or rate in the conditions and they just charge as much they like. They start  from 500. For me he asked $550 for shuttle. Also they say that they will bring professional movers to pick up and deliver your items but believe me they bring illegal workers. Also they don't even take care of your belongings well. I did even start on pricing. They give you a different quote and once they reach you they will charge a different one. They will make sign the agreement by speaking very politely to you and telling that this is not the final price and once the load the stuff they will charge based on the cubic feet your stuff occupied. But once they load the truck they don't measure it nor they would let you step inside the truck to measure it. They will say its exactly the same number of cubic     feet as they mentioned earlier. And if you dispute it, they will threaten you saying that either you take it at that price or pay for the cancellation and for labor on per hour basis for loading and unloading. And they will only unload the truck if you pay them upfront as much they demand.

Long-distance move from Texas to Washington

My family was happy to receive all in good state.

They move my family first week of this month. Got too many valuables and one of them was my daughter's Piano. I paid extra for additional care and for crates and scaffolds be put around it while in the truck for shipment so there will be less or no damage. The delivery justifies the heart of their people to serve customer at their best because, although I expected that I would'nt be able to receive the piano in 100 percent good state I was surprised when it arrived perfectly. I was so happy so as my daughter. I will definitely refer them to my friends.

Most Horrible Experience of my Life. do Not Hire Them.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I am now convinced that these "4" star ratings are actuallly fake --- someone else on here mentioned going to their BBB file -- I suggest you do that before hiring them. PLEASE do not make the same mistake I did. I'm convinced all these reviews on here are COMPANY workers making themselves look good.
Typical bait and switch tactics, for one. They quoted me $1100 and when they showed up, price changed to $2600. They did NOT listen to me, started hastily packing items without my permission or guidance. Resulted in them packing a ton of things that I didn't want or need. The man told me I could have things organized so that I could have things sorted into two groups, then retracted his statement. Then, didn't deliver my items for about 3.5 weeks. They wouldn't tell me when they were coming, you're supposed to just wait until they want to show up, and you better be available. They delivered it the day before Thanksgiving and I was going out of town for the holiday and they would not work with me AT ALL. Also, come to find out -- you can't use a credit card for delivery, even though my original mover told me it would be fine. So I had to go through this huge struggle of getting a $2000 cash advance from my credit card --- it can't be a check or bank money order. Has to be a POSTAL money order. Like I said, this would have been fine if my movers didn't lie to me initially and tell me otherwise.  Finally, my stuff arrived and they wanted to charge us an extra shuttle fee, yadda yadda. The mover was NOT helpful at all, thankfully I had a friend to help me move stuff. He unloaded but moved NOTHING.
**Best part of the story: they also damaged one of the chairs that goes with my antique dining room table. YEP, it was a family heirloom, NON-replaceable, table originally cost $2000 with all the chairs. And they snapped the arm of off one of the chairs. COMPLETELY SNAPPED IT OFF. Now, have to jump through hoops trying to get a claim, which is $0.60 per pound that they will reimburse. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. EVER. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE! .

Worst company ever seen or dealing with.

This is the worst company. They rob the people off, it's a mafia. Please listen to me. Don't ever use or deal with them. I think they write the good reviews about them self. They charge me an extra 4000$ or otherwise they won't deliver my stuff. So I had to pay them. The workers were mean, treating my family. On top of that, I had 5 broken stuff. Unhelpful workers - the driver wanted to fight with everyone. He's making him self the expert and he don't know nothing. They pick their workers from Craigslist, that's what the workers told me. Even they stole most of my stuff and I had to wait 1.5 weeks for them to come after calling me and trying to rob me off over the phone by changing a lot of things in the deal by saying a lot of [EDIT] and lies.

Excellent Customer Service.

From the first phone calls/emails with Michael and Mary in the office, to the pick-up team lead by Daniel in Austin and the drop-off team of Angel and Sam in Denver, my experience with this company was excellent. My phone calls and emails were promptly answered and addressed. Everyone was professional and attentive. I highly recommend 24 Hours Moving for your moving needs!

Long-distance move from Texas to Florida

The Worst Experience of my Life with a Moving Company.

I have been moving several times and I have the worst experience of my life with 24hours moving. Everything started when a nice guy (at least when talking by phone), whom name is Gabriel, he let me know that 24hoursmoving people were very professional. He asked me for the size of my house and addresses to pick up and deliver. I let him know that my house was 4 Bedrooms and the moving was from Katy Texas to Weston Florida. On June 22nd 2015 he sent me a quote for 1770$ (for 590 cf). I called him and asked him how he calculate the volume and he let me know that it was an estimate, but he asked me to fill out a form with the list of articles. This list was very simple to fill out and it did not include details about volume, only name of parts. I filled out the form as instructed and send it back to Gabriel. On July 6th 2015, he send an estimate based on my list and the amount was $7727.20 (close to 1908 lbs), including packing services, I thought it was a little be expensive, but because of my wife’s health, I decided to accept the price to proceed with the move. They asked for 10% in advance which I paid ($772.72) and they asked to sign all kind of papers (contract, estimated and credit card authorization). The day of the move, July 28th: the driver (Jesus) with three other guys arrived late in the morning (10:30 am). The driver was very arrogant and nasty with my wife, they proceed to do their own estimate (you can imagine the same day of the moving), when he finished, he let my wife knows that I did not know how to do an estimate, that the chairs were too big and also the sofa and so on, but I let him know that the list that I received did not include the sizes, the list only include, for example: number of dining chairs, there were no option to select big or small chairs. He let me know that the new amount that I have to pay was $12700, YOU CAN IMAGINE? FROM $7727 TO $12700 (64% more that the initial estimate). I did not accept the new price and one of the Manager from 24hoursmoving called me from their office (I think the name is Cynthia), she was also very arrogant and she let me know that I was the one that commit the mistake with the estimate, I told her if they know that people like me are not good doing estimates, why they did not send someone to my house to validate my estimate before the moving take place. She told me that they were located in Dallas and I was in Katy and that was too far away. She let me know that if I did not accept the new price, I have to pay them the following: travel time of the employees, 300$ penalty and the gas that they use. She also recommended me to leave some of the furniture in my house and upload in the truck the most important items. I talked to my wife and when she asked the driver (Jesus) to recalculate the volume with the most important items, he refused to do that and he left. Five minutes later, 24hours moving charged me $567.15 in my credit card without any explanation. When I add this amount (567.15) to the 10% that I paid before, the TOTAL AMOUNT THAT THEY CHARGED WAS $1339.35. They did not make the move and get away with 1339.35 and according to them it was my fault….. Incredible! I was very “innocent” by accepting to make a deal with this company and I will very happy if only one person that read my experience decide not to do business with this company.  .

Do Not Hire!

I am reading this other messages and thinking why did I not see them sooner!!  The worst company I have ever dealt with!  MY husband and I are professional people and if you think you will get customer satisfaction from this company, think again!! They quoted us $3900 and changed it to over $8200 for our move from Texas to Wisconsin.  They were 4 hours late in coming over to start our house.  They get you all upset and have you sign documents at 1 in the morning. They agree to give you a "discount" and then you later realize that discount was really added right back into the amount by adding new items to the manifest that are actually just re-named into larger items to pay more. They will ensure you your delivery is safe and this whole process is stress free!!  what a scam.  Our delivery was scheduled for a Friday and wouldn't you know it, that day the truck crashes 7 hours away from our house!  talk about no customer service, that is what you will get.  we asked to drive and get our items, but we had to pay the entire amount in full to do that.  we waited another 2 weeks while the truck sat hours away.  my family slept on the floor for 30 days!!   Mike the supervisor guarnteed he would reimburse us for our hotel stay, but that never happened.  I put in complaints with the DOT and AMSA.  I thought I would finally get some help from them, but no shocker there, no help!   When we tried to negotiate the lower rate on delivery due to the crash and inconvenience, we were asked to pay additional money for each hour the truck sat in our driveway.  I have been in contact with others who used 24 hours moving and its all the same story.  no reimbursement for anything.  I have multiple damages items and waited over 30 days.  I lost out on two weeks of vacation due to their ignorance.  NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.  I am issuing a formal complaint with the DOT and AMSA again.   ugh!
